i really need a *good* dmc reboot. like honesty so far dmc:devil may cry isn't bad, i just hate that it's a dmc game, it should have been it's own thing

but honesty, hear me out. a dmc reboot in which they take vergil's dmc5 line of questioning what would be different if his and dante's lives were switched. if eva hid him inside that wardrobe instead of dante

how would he interact with different characters and what in the timeline would change, since vergil is more introverted and not as *out there* as dante is. would nero still be vergil's son or would he be dante's son? how does v come into this? would we get an alternate version of him where he's half of dante, and speaking of, what would dante's rise to power lust be like?

damn now ive gotta get my shit together and play the rest of the games so i can write an accurate fanfic about this because we all know capcom ain't giving us shit unless we wait 57 years

Twin #2: Yeah, or you'll end up like V (from DMC 5)

Me: Yeah! And die...! *starts sobbing then stops* Wait. I got a better one. You better eat or you'll be absorbed by your other half!

I'm slowly getting through devil may cry v and got inspired enough to doodle again. Sure they aren't polished but I love looking at others' sketch dumps, it's like looking at a smorgasbord of ideas. So here you go. Read more for close ups of the other doodles. The ID in alt are the same as written in the text.

i really wanna know if they'll address the fact that vergil's pendant half is still in the sparda that dante has.. what if vergil uses the sparda one day i might cry (in dmc6) (which definitely will be real)
