Summertime. We start with Fiona Apple and Tidal, which included two excellent singles I'm cheating a bit because the actual singles only came out in 1997, but they were included in the album. (The only 1996 single was Shadowboxer.)

Barry Adamson released Oedipus Schmoedipus with Something Wicked This Way Comes, which would later be included in 1997's best soundtrack.

The Cardigans' First Band on the Moon featured the previously mentioned Lovefool.

The second album released through the newly formed Dreamworks label, Eels' Beautiful Freak featured Novocaine for the Soul, with a video by Mark Romanek.

White Zombie released Supersexy Swingin' Sounds, a remix album which would later provide the soundtrack for my early lovemaking.

Sneaker Pimps had a moment with Becoming X, featuring Spin Spin Sugar and 6 Underground (also featured on The Saint soundtrack).

K's Choice had their first hit with Not an Addict.

Neneh Cherry's Man included the earlier hit 7 Seconds, and spawned the single Woman, accompanied by a video featuring Andy Serkis and directed by Jamie Thraves (who also directed Radiohead's Just).

Teddy Riley's Blackstreet had a big hit with this bop:

Jamiroquai had a huge hit with Virtual Insanity, with a video by Jonathan Glazer that was way overplayed on MTV Europe. It was OKAY.

DJ Shadow made a significant contribution to instrumental hip hop with Entroducing...

Kula Shaker released the Indian-influenced K featuring Govinda.

Cake's Fashion Nugget had hits with The Distance and a cover of I Will Survive.

SZUBKULTÚRA DEFINÍCIÓK & SZUBKULTÚRA KUTATÓK KORTÁRS MEGKÖZELÍTÉSEI

A szubkultúra kutatás régóta a szociológiai kutatások középpontjában álló témakör. A szubkultúrák ugyanis olyan különleges társadalmi csoportok, amelyek közös normákkal, értékekkel és szokásokkal rendelkeznek és közös média termék(ek) köré szerveződnek. Az elmúlt évtizedekben olyan tudósok, mint Sarah Thornton, Keith Muggleton, Andy Bennett és Paul Hodkinson a szubkultúrákkal kapcsolatosan fontos fogalmakat, értelmezéseket vezettek be. A következő blogbejegyzésben ezekről a megközelítésekről lesz szó.

Sarah Thornton "Club Cultures: Music, Media, and Subcultural Capital" című művében az elektronikus tánczene (EDM) klubokat körülvevő szubkultúrákat vizsgálja. Sabato 30 settembre 2023 al Bolgia, top club a Bergamo, arriva il top dj producer francese TRYM, artista in forte ascesa nel panorama elettronico mondiale, per quella che è una nuova imperdibile notte della stagione autunno - inverno 2023/4 del Bolgia. Ad affiancarlo, nella Main Room del top club sulla'A4, c'è il duo Head2Head.

Francese, TRYM fa all'anagrafe Martin Lermurier. Si inventa ogni notte un viaggio musicale nuovo, fatto di sonorità hard dance e hard trance.
