I've been wanting a Snowman Hank Christmas ornament since last year, so now that we've got ourselves a 3D printer... I made the perfect topper for my Christmas tree! I had to sculpt his moustache by hand because the printer had a slight error (forgot to add support beams there). Photo's can't do justice with just how cute he looks!!! I am thinking of making a Sketchfab account so I can upload these files for people to print themselves!

Linocut christmas ornaments I made even though I publicly declared I wouldn't make anything for christmas because I was too tired... The black and white ones were test subjects hence fingerprints and wonkiness but I might actually make some clean ones because I think they're neat.

Calcifer (Howl’s Moving Castle;e), Jingle (Animal Crossing) and the Green Pikmin (Pikmin 4) ornaments.

Here are the three ornaments I made for my family last Christmas. I wasn’t sure if I should post them last year. But I found them again when decorating the tree and thought it would be nice to look back on so here they are.

They are all handmade and my first time sewing felt sort of plush ornaments but I thought they looked nice and the recipients of the gifts seemed happy with them too.

I’m endlessly fascinated by this method but found it so hard to use straw to make them (as it’s intended originally). It kept breaking in my hands, and it’s quite disheartening, especially when it happens at the later stages.

Sooo, I’ve decided to use the Japanese paper band instead. It’s cheap ($3.30 each colour), widely available (at Daiso), made with recycled paper, doesn’t break and you can adjust width, if you need.

The stars make a cute gift decoration that doubles as a tree ornament. What can be better?

Make three of them, and you have a lovely gift on your hands already.
