MOTIONNNNN!!! Huge fan of motion coming back. The motion scream appearing since the beginning, the motion engines....even back in partizan, it always felt like she was meant to come back, and i LOVE how this is being done. the images were so good.

I like Dust! I like Occam Olio. I like the Us doppelgangers and "they are not dead. they do not leave the tunnels."

Seeing Jesset again also makes me sooooo happy thats my BOY i am jesset fan numero UNO and unfortunately he did get his ass kicked completely but he was cute while he did it and badass.

Longer thoughts: The big narrative swings (not talking lucia (which i love also) bc that was last ep) were SO cool i love how immediately invested art got in the motion clock, im obsessed with the choices, jesset being put in mortal peril was honestly very fun for me (tragedy enjoyer who loves to mourn their faves)

it really is brutal how authority sweeps every faction turn. on the one hand, I think there is a really good sense of weight and scale here; the authoritarian rulers of a whole planet are not weak and easily toppled, it would be worse if they were always getting beat.

On the other hand, I don't love the way they're going about it. Art backing away from Occam having a character moment SPECIFICALLY because he didn't want to roll and lose a pillar (especially in comparison to keith rolling when he didn't need to duing the stellar combustor arc) was so disappointing. it just felt like a worse story and less fun play. I did not like that at all.

Even though the sense of "the authority is huge and complex and every victory will be a struggle" is good to me and i prefer it, it kind of sucks to feel like the blue channel only faction that DOES anything (even baseline/violet cove mission was mostly a success even though they took the baseline L) Like gucci saying "what do you think we do all day?" girl i think they had your number!! you people are seeming pretty unhelpful!!! i would like it if not just Our Heroes but the entire organization were pulling their weight.

The final thing that occurred to me during the first conflict with jade kill and then got solidified later with art is i think its a huge problem that Hexagon doesnt have more named characters. Blank Shore and Occam Olio and SIlverbrick, the attendants of Gentian, all the higher ups of the Bilats, they have all gotten screen time and exploration and interest from the players. By contrast, most of the named Hexagon members pre-exist the faction games, and they are a lot less fleshed out. The twilight mirage character jack mentioned didnt even get a name. they dont care about them, and we have no one To care about.

So i think in the end i like all the narrative turns this took in terms of big swings and choices, but the energy is leaving me feeling kind of disappointed and uninvested in the individual dice rolls and events and attempts. like i enjoy what they do with the outcomes, but getting to the outcomes this week felt pretty :/ I just wish they would care about the cause too!!! i like what they do with authority but i like the cause and i feel like we dont know them at ALL!

our one former exception was baldwin home who was an outside perspective who deepened the connection a lot, and now he's dead, so like, they've all just become pieces on a board instead of people.

okay i got interesting take

in my opinion, like 90% of straight romances/ships are FUCKING BORING, and usually try to spice it up, by adding more girls, this opinion i hold so dear, that i was on verge from.trying to strangle my friend, for saying <insert harem name> was really good romance.

But why could that be so? because lots of straight romances just follows base line of, "cute/shy" or whatever girl, and more dominant than her guy with interests like "i literally just exist in this series with no other purpose than wanting gf", and follow most basic set gender standards, and most basic made up relationship dysmorphia where girl is clearly bottom, and guy is the top/he "leads" the relationship, you get what i mean? 100% not, it wont stop me tho.

While yuri/yaoi ships always derive from most boring version of relationship that church people gaslit us into thinking is only valid way, by sheer fact that either both character fill same role or one of them has to not follow the most basic made up gender rules, like bottom.guy, or maybe huge girl who searches for little bunny girl etc. Like, just taking most basic romance plot ever, and genderbending one of characters by itself changes whole vibe so much!

But ofc, not all straight romances are bad, that would imply any romance is bad (i mean, there are few bad romances, like wanting to date children, but for sake of this ride of a post, we are talking about 2 consenting people of either similar age for teenagers, or just 2 consenting adults ok?), but the only good straight romances i saw, were the ones that just didnt really gave much fuck about being the most generic romance plot, and doing that would make any romance good (m/m, m/f, f/f etc), one of my favourite examples, would be violet evergarden! yeah, it does for the most part follow the rules of strong protective man, and small fragile girl (except for the fact that violet absolutelly kicks ass), but series itself isnt about 2 charcaters dating, Its about violet learning what love is, and not just romantic one, she learns about sibling love, parent/child love, love for world, love for work and many more! What makes it good is not us seeing them dating, its how we togehder with Violet slowly learn more about love, slowly growing attached to him, this love story is very beautifull, because its not focusing on that part.

(at this point i had hard time finding more proof of good hetero romances, so i had to dig throught list if stuff i watched etc) Also, one of my fave mangas of all time, was domestic na kanojo, where the romance being interesting, was enforced by, lemme check my notes, 2 sisters competing for their step brother, where 1 is his teacher and other is girl he lost virginity with. You can see im streching my arguments at this point huh. Whatever, in this series, what makes it actually interesting love story and not easy porn material, is all the hardships charcaters go throught, and questions it gives! Natsuo wanting hina, but knowing its just some stupid kids love, constantly hurting rui as resoult of his inner conflict about hina, wanting to get close with rui, and suddenly cutting it off because he is just a kid who is scared, of what might be, as i used to be kid, i very much know the feeling od wanting to do something, but being scared to commit, constantly swinging between wanting it, and being afraid, only hurting other in process.

okay this one is quite boring romance, but in interesting way so as per last argument, lets talk about "Rascal does not dream about bunny girl senpai" where mc gets the girl after like 2 episodes, and then we just see them, chill like cute couple, or get a bit jealous, its not much, but i find it interesting to see quite realistic (from standpoint of someone who's longest relationship lasted 2 months, including 1 month breakup), but she anime isnt about it, so seeing them being nice, realistiy behaving couple is nice addition

In conclusion, straight romances fucking suck and dont recomend them to me without 3 pages explanation why it doesnt suck, harems get instant no-no tho

i wanna talk about my pokemon brilliant diamond team cuz its a little silly. (LONG ASS POST)

so im on the 8th gym, havent beat it, and my team is:

eggman. sweet poor eggman. currently a level 54 togetic. with the move set of baton pass, nasty plot, attract, and metronome. his strat is to make the girls fall in love with him, do an evil scheme, and then fuck around and find out. all else fails, run away.

kirby. level 47 jirachi. cuz i guess you get a jirachi in this game if you played sword or shield. i love them. with zen headbutt, life dew, dazzling gleam, and helping hand, i basically built them to work together with my star of the show pokemon in doubles, because i LOVE doubles. not online cuz im shy.

garchomp. level 69. got it from wondertrade and its just kinda here now. shadow claw, dragon claw, dig, and brick break, it does not set up and only attacks. i basically have no emotional attachment to her im sorry

soap. motherfucking soap. level 90 luxray. during the start of my save file, none of my pokemon would listen to me cuz i had the just great idea of using almost only trade pokemon. got angry and decided "FUCK YOU IM GOING TO CHEAT" and caught a level 5 shinx, put it into violet, and fed it exp candies until it was level.. i think 68? ive only given it more rare candy since then. its only ever leveled up ONCE in battle. right now its my last resort pokemon in the back of my party cuz i do like my game to be a little hard (as proven by eggman) he knows thunder, wild charge, volt switch, and strength. aka "might not work but worth it" "hurt yourself in the process" "attack then FUCK OFF" and "normal type move cuz ground types exist"

lucario. level 60 lucario. its from japan (or a game with the language set in japan, i guess?) and my best buddy. we're friends. i love him. i think hes from violet but he's here for some reason and awesome. he knows aura sphere, rock tomb, swords dance, and meteor mash. hes the guy kirby is with in doubles and the guy eggman runs away to. he's the star of the show. uh.. besides level 90 soap. also hes a master in cuteness contests so he's VERY talented.

dusky. level 48 dialga. just got here. still has base move set. but theyre here for one reason: my stupid ass luck. dusky got their name from the pokeball they were caught from. yup, a DUSK BALL. i dont have the exact stats but, i think.. dialga, a legendary, in a dusk ball, during the day? id say about a 5% chance. AND IT WORKED. i lost my shit when it happened. i think to myself, "this is why you've only gotten one shiny outside of community day fennekin and wonder traded hacked ones. because all your luck goes to bullshit like this." (and the fucking FIRST pokemon i battled on the port to coliseum being a SHINY KAKUNA. why.) might get off the team at some point.

I've heard people say that these "discount store Phantom Thieves have bland, samey outfits", but personally...I really like them. I think it goes back to the same reason i love Joker's costume design: I've always like semi formal.

(I know i just posted about how i must like short pants costumes, since Closer and Sophia look so cute to me, but i can have multiple, opposing, simultaneous favorites.)

Part of the reason I'm a little disappointed in P5X protagonist's costume, is because i keep comparing it to Joker's, and it's not as formal and stylish as Joker's. I love all long, black, billowing coats. (That aren't just a bunch of ribbon strips simply trailing behind a coat, like Violet's. It's gotta be billowing and cape-like for me to like it.*) But P5X protagonist's coat looks less formal and thus less stylish to me, compared to Joker.

But look at the costumes of the majority of the other P5X Phantom Thieves. It's all lapels, coat tails, riding coats, blazers, dress shirts, button down vests, big collars, and even ascots. I think i kinda love that stuff. I've always just liked a little bit of formality. To me, that's stylish.✨️

(*...Though looking at Violet's Figma prototype, her coat's tails are wider than i thought. But when she moves in cutscenes, they seem more like thin fabric strips more than the capelike effect that i love from trench coats. Maybe because there's too much space in the cuts between her tails? Fabric strips like ribbons do suit her rhythmic gymnastics theme, since the ribbon is a core rhythmic gymnastics tool. But for me, I'd much prefer a billowing, cape like, trench coat. ⏯️ But the real question is, why does P5R Violet's coat tails not work for me, but P5X Mont's and Seiji's coat tails do work for me? Is it because I'm accustomed to that traditional look? Whereas my brain does not know what to do with Violet's short jacket with tails attached to just its back? That might make sense. It's kind of disjointed to me that Violet's coat has a distinct short jacket look, divided from her coat tails. If we're comparing to P5X'S Mont, her vest has a continuous, less jarring curve line, from the bottom hem of her vest, to her coat tails. But Seiji's coat tails also almost 90 degrees attach to only the back of his coat, and I'm fine with it. What's with that, my brain? Like i speculated earlier, maybe since that's a traditional fashion style I've seen before, i must be used to it. Violet's jacket is maybe too short to align with more usual traditional riding jacket looks. Or maybe it's because i like the front of Seiji's look, in and of itself, so it doesnt matter to me that his coat tails seem separate, more divided from a continuous flow from his front. So his coat tails are just extra icing to me. Not necessary from the front, but a nice flourish if you notice it. His coat tails are more noticable from his back and i think it's more cohesive there. So i guess that means my problem is that i never liked Kasumi's/Violet's look. I've posted before, how i didn't understand everyone's immediate love of Kasumi, since the first teaser trailer for P5R. Her character design never particularly spoke to me. Not like Sophia's, or Closer's, or the majority of P5X's Phantom Thieves, nor like Joker's costume design. I finally concluded that girly character designs didnt really appeal to me. And Violet's costume is certainly girly. Atlus said they were homaging traditional "mahou shoujo", after all. So i guess Violet's coat tails would have worked for me, if her outfit without them, could stand on its own, in my tastes. But it doesn't. To me, anyway. ⏯️ Funny for me to seemingly imply that vanilla P5's female Phantom Thieves' costumes aren't girly, when Ann exists, Makoto's tight costume shows off her female figure, and Haru has her vest cut out for her bust. But if we're comparing vanilla P5's female designs to why i don't care for Violet's costume or "girly" character designs, maybe Panther's and Queen's sexiness is too mature to feel "girly" to me. And Queen's costume is more rough and post apocalyptic, action moviey, to feel "girly". And with the exception of Haru's bust, everything about her outfit is masculine. Sure, a 1700s' version of masculinity, but she's essentially cross dressing to rebel against her expected gender roles---which is one of my gavorite tropes.💜 ⏯️ It's weird. I like lolita fashion, and i like mahou shoujo like Madoka Magica. But maybe Kasumi/Violet is in this weird middle ground that doesn't push the "girly" look enough to appeal to me. I mean, i love Madoka Magica, because the costumes are all fluffy and ruffley. But i dont really care about Sailormoon, until the Super S costumes got more elaborate, but even then, I'd still prefer the more lolita fashion looking style of Madoka Magica. ⏯️ And maybe that's also the overarching reason for my tastes: lolita fashion is inspred by Victorian dolls, and that's closer to my personal concept of formalwear, which I've always been drawn to. Violet doesn't work for me, because she's just wearing a leotard. But designs like Madoka Magica, the P5X Phantom Thieves, and Joker, DO work for me, because they better fit my personsl concept of formalwear, which i love.

but to honestly answer your question: it pisses me off. for a few reasons:

violet is SUCH a perfectly written match for clem that i cant see either of them with anyone else. i didnt think the writers would Ever be able to write a good love interest for clem esp after s3 but im not kidding when i say violet and her are a perfectly written match. violet is very similar to s3 clem with her trust and abandonment issues, the angry loner who cares but pretends not to to protect themselves from the grief of loss/pain of being left behind, and so they put up walls and push people away. theyre both natural leaders who never wanted that position. loyal. fiercely protective. where javi helped clem learn to trust people again in s3, clem helps violet learn to trust people again in s4. clementine can see herself in violet (the "i know where youre coming from" line), and they help each other. which leads into my second problem with the new comic romance

violet has SEVERE trust and abandonment issues (even more than the other kids who all by default pretty much have trust and abandonment issues), which is obvious even without letting her get taken by the raiders (and is only made that much worse if you do). i cant imagine what it will do to her emotionally to wake up and realize clem is GONE without even SAYING GOODBYE. thats gonna hurt her so bad regardless if you romanced her or not. like clem is their leader now and shes just...leaving?? without telling anyone?? EVEN AJ???? HER ADOPTIVE CHILD??? fuck this stupid ass comic it is SO OUT OF CHARACTER for clem for like a million reasons. like skybound/tillie are saying theyre excited to focus on clems sexuality (which :/) but like to do it theyre really damaging representation that was already THERE and GOOD.

like way to just rip away really nice wlw representation just so you dont have to worry about determinant choices. (violentine is my favorite wlw rep in media theyre just......so nice. so cute but like so natural?? they are so in love and the writing just feels like it really came from the heart like the writers really cared abt their relationship even if it WAS a little rushed but like s4 was rushed in general) every scene they have together just makes me 😳😭😭🥺💕💕💕 no matter how many times i see it

s4 was the perfect end for clementine, and the writers of the last season INTENDED for that to be her ENDING. thats where she spends the rest of her days, surrounded by her found family who love her, safe at the school. shes DONE RUNNING she literally hung up her hat like shes DONE. she NEVER wanted to be on the road shes always longed for a place to be safe with aj and she has it she would never leave.

my birthday is in november!! november 23 to be specific. i share it with miley cyrus which is something i always found to be very cool when i was growing up and watching hannah montana. it also means i am a sagittarius and funny little fact i realized is that my best friend is a gemini. alex and jack are also a sagittarius and a gemini. from being 13 i know that tyler and josh from twenty one pilots are also a sagittarius and a gemini. something about sagittarius and gemini besties idk.

also yeah!! ao3 year in review!! it's a bit complicated to figure out at first and if you read a lot the finding pages thing can be pretty tedious, but it's def worth it once you figure it out. it gives you a lot of different stats about everything you read and it's pretty cool. now i am going to go look at your fics to remember my favs. you deserve the praise so i am willing to offer it. jeez you write a lot i respect the motivation sm. you write quite a bit of angst and i won't lie i try to stay away from angst so i haven't read your fics that seem super angst-y based on the tags. BUT there are still so many i recall reading and loving nonetheless. on a quick scroll-through: i usually don't read high school AUs but "paint me in trust (i'll be your best friend)" was super adorable and lovely. "thank god i'm yours" is one of my favs iirc. also i love love love "it's not always easy (but i'm here forever)" like yes please romanticize alex gaskarth i love it sm. "i won't be silent (and i won't let go)" and "i fell asleep in a city that doesn't" are both super fluffy and romantic and are favs of mine. in case you haven't picked up on it i adore very fluffy and romantic fics lmao. alright i am continuing to scroll and there are so many more i could list that i love but this section is getting quite long. just know if it's about a kitchen or hotel rooms being for lovers i probably read it and adored it and that pov is so valid.

waterparks!! will not lie i only really started listening to them about 6 months ago having been distantly aware of their existence for several years by being a fan of bands in the same genre. listen as long as you let yourself be vaguely annoyed by awsten is prevents you from being in love with him. follow him on any social media platform for like a day and you'll be sick of him typing in nothing but all caps within hours. simply do not romanticize him and you can keep yourself from falling!! so this is coming from a slightly fake parx fan, but some of my favs by them have been peach (lobotomy), crave, numb, fuzzy, violet!, you'd be paranoid too, and lowkey as hell. that is a very songs-from-their-most-recent-album-heavy rec, but whatever. i did give the disclaimer about being a fake parx fan.

yeah hayley does have 2 solo albums now!! petals for armor and flowers for vases / descansos. pfa is the one i didn't really like upon first listen but has grown on me. i haven't even listened to the second one in its entirety oops but we won't mention it. dead horse is good but simmer (pretty sure that was the other single??) just ain't it for me. the album has some lovely songs but it's just a hit or miss album all the way through. some favs of mine on it include pure love, taken, crystal clear, watch me while i bloom, and why we ever. it's sorta a storyline album about healing if that adds anything to it?? but anyways. i started listening to paramore around the time after laughter dropped and it grew to be one of my fav albums in existence. idle worship is probably one of my fav songs like ever. i def understand being slightly put off by bands with songs that make religious references (me with twenty one pilots' earlier music that makes a lot more religious references considering i'm not religious whatsoever) but i think i am blinded by being in love with hayley williams and just ignore it. idk that she's like super religious?? she's addressed believing in god and stuff a few times but she's def not the "rub it in your face" type and if she's making refs in music more recently then they're subtle enough i'm not noticing them. ik albums like brand new eyes had a lot more because it was shortly after that the band split and the songwriting process was essentially her and ex-bandmate co-songwriter arguing about their religious beliefs (turns out he ended up being super homophobic and transphobic all based on his religion so do with that what u will and thank the clown for leaving). i feel u on the "i meant to start listening to them" because that's essentially how i started listening to them. i told myself i was going to and then finally forced myself to do it. fuck falling for awsten knight what's more risky is falling in love with hayley </3

So S5 ended with Belle putting herself in a sleeping curse so Rumple could save their baby. He does, and when he get back to storybrooke he takes Hades’ magic crystal and takes the magic from Storybrooke so he can try to wake her. He goes to new york, henry and violet and emma and regina chase him because wanting to wake your pregnant wife is TOTES EVIL GAIS so Snow tells the new villain, Mr. Hyde, that Rumple’s trying to wake his pregnant wife so Hyde steals her and they have to go to the land of untold stories to get her back

s6 starts with rumple getting her back and he goes to “Morpheus”, god of dreams, to wake her. but in the dream, when he’s trying to ease belle’s nightmares and wake her, “Morpheus” reveals himself to be their son all grown up somehow even though he’s a fetus inside belle and now belle is mad at rumple for tricking her when he DIDNT FUCKING DO ANYTHING and so her unborn fetus kisses her and she wakes up and she storms back to storybrooke because reasons apparently.

Anyway she breaks up with rumple AGAIN - they’re married, I want to point out - and goes to stay on the jolly roger because living with the man who tried to kill you three times is apparently better than living with your husband who hasn;’t done ANYTHING wrong in a whole season but what the fuck ever right? anyway hyde is loose and rumple puts a spell on the boat to protect belle and keep the bad guys out but SURPRISE Dr Jekyll is the real bad guy and he was??? already on the boat??? so Hyde uses the dagger to force rumple to stand around useless as Jekyll tries to kill belle

and Captain Rape Bro gets to save her because this show can’t do a fucking thing without trying to paint Admitted Serial Killer and Drunk Captain Hook in a good light

rumple can’t like. look himself in the eyes in a mirror. so he cuts his hair because bob had to cut it for Trainspotting 2 and all their wigs were terrible and could not capture the majesty of the floof

so Belle yells terrible things at rumple for using the spell on the boat and says he cut his hair??? for her??? when no he did it because he hates himself you’ve known him for like a hundred years belle wtf and rumple gets mad and says yeah you’ll only be with me when you need me for something and they stay apart

Belle, throughout the next half season arc, continues to fucking come by rumple’s shop just to insult him. meanwhile regina drinks the potion to separate her and the evil queen just like hyde and jekyll did so the EQ is just. free. because lana is amazing and they wanted two of her. so, fuck yeah for that. but the EQ wants to jump Rumple’s bones even though they’ve NEVER had that sort of relationship and it was always mentor/student - you know, because rumple was in love with C O R A. Her MOM. 

anyway eq is like hey look we can speed up the pregnancy and rumple’s like alright and she kisses him a bunch and he goes to see belle but he doesn’t use the potion. belle uses the ‘IF YOU DO THIS WE’LL NEVER GET BACK TOGETHER’ line she’s been using since s5 because nothing says true love like literal emotional manipulation

so rumple dumps the eq 

there’s like some shears that can cut the strands of fate??? rumple wanted to use them to free their son from any ties to the darkness(tm) but hook gets a hold of them and rumple has decided that was dumb anyway

Belle refuses to let rumple anywhere near her or the child so when the EQ speeds up her pregnancy- which she blames rumple for, ugh - she gives baby Gideon to the Shady Blue Fairy.

Who gets beat up.

The baby is taken by the black fairy, rumple’s mum, and like taken to a land where he’s aged up into an emo brat

and again, belle blames rumple for this

also emma has dreams about a cloaked figure killing her and she thinks it’s regina but she’s also super anxious because OH NO SHE WANTS TO BE HOOK’S HAPPY ENDING BECAUSE HE DESERVES ONE AND SHE WANTS TO GIVE HIM BABIES TO MAKE HIM HAPPY and Archie is like “fuck this y’all need Jaybus they don’t pay me enough for this shit”

Winter 2018 Season Preview

Just in time. I blame social games for making this post so late. Order is pretty tekitou because I just needed to get this up.

Poputepipikku: アー、ＹＯＵ ＡＲＥ ＭＯＴＨＥＲ ＦＵＣＫＥＲ? It might be normie to put this at the top, but regardless of normie appeal Pop Team is genuinely one of the funniest manga I’ve ever read. It really deserves the attention.

Yurucamp△: Oh hell yes. The stationary version of Yama no Susume. Girls look amazing (THAT DANGO) and it stars Hanabee which is always good. Hopefully it's a good kuuki-kei anime.

Slow Start: Kirara anime bois. You know it's going to be good because it has "slow" in the title. Walking slowly is preferred here.

Hakumei no Mikochi: Tiny cute girls live have tea with bugs. It's gonna be great. Hopefully no girls melt in this one.

Takunomi: Cute oneesans who like to get drunk? I DIDNT KNOW THEY HAD MY JAM ON HERE

Toji no Miko: So this is the good version of Touken Ranbu then? I love the character design from Shizuma Yoshinori (aka the guy who designed Shimakaze) and it promises Cool Sword Shit. Cute girls doing cool things is objectively the best genre of anime, so I have high hopes for this one.

Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san: D E K O

Darling in the Franxx: It's based Trig time baybee. The robot has anime girl eyes and tiddies. We doing this.

Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san: Ayaneru anime! She has a terrible habit recently of appearing in shows I have no interest in but this one looks cute. Also of course Ayachi is starring as the girl who likes to eat something.

Marchen Madchen: I think that's what the title is. Fuck German. No idea what this is really about, I just know it's got a fuckload of cute Kantoku-designed girls in it and they're all my jam. Especially that 'Arthur Pendragon.' Move the fuck over Artoria, there's a new Arthur in town and her deko is AMAZING.

Fate/EXTRA Last Encore: Did someone say FATESERVICE??? Not sure if this is just an adaptation of EXTRA or if it's some kind of other side story, but I do know that Rin has sexy boots in it, so you can't go wrong.

Sora Yori mo Tooi Basho: Moe polar expedition anime! This is exactly the kind of thing anime is meant to do: take cute girls and combine them with literally anything. It'll be the first Ishizuka Atsuko anime I've seen since Hanayamata and No Games, I just hope Hanada the Hack doesn't ruin it.

citrus: A real yuri anime? On my TV? If I remember my /u/ right citrus is absolutely packed with stupid drama and shit, but lord if I'm not excited to hear Ayachi and Tsudaneki play lovers. The cast overall looks pretty good and I like the character designs. Hopefully it doesn't QUALITY, I have little trust in Passione.

Mitsuboshi Colors: This looks absolutely adorable. For some reason I keep mistaking the character designs for Barasui art and that can only be a good thing.

Ryuuou no Oshigoto!: One of the most popular LNs, now an anime with eyes that are way too big. I specifically never read the books because I don't know shit about shogi, so hopefully it's easier to understand in anime form. Or I can just ignore the shogi parts and look at all the lolis.

Emiya-sanchi no Kyou no Gohan: Did someone say Fateservice AGAIN??? I don't know if this is a full length anime or what but anything that brings more Rin into my life is good.

Nanatsu no Taizai Imashime no Fukkatsu: The original Nanatsu no Taizai was a fun Dragonball ripoff; don't know how much patience I might have for a sequel in a season this crowded but Elizabeth is hot and pig is best girl.

Violet Evergarden: We know it's going to look amazing, but is the story going to be worth a damn? Let's be real: probably fucking not. Sure the capable Yoshida Reiko is writing the adaptation but everything on KA Esma sucks; it's a sixth-rate label that gets undue exposure due to being owned by Kyoto Animation. In terms of story, Kyoukai no Kanata sucked, Phantom World sucked, everything pulled from the original in Chu2koi sucked, and Tamako Market wasn't that great either. At least it will look good I guess.

Dagashikashi 2: You know I loved the original, but like half of that was the hotness of the girls delivered by based feel. This has no based feel. I am extremely worried.

Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion The Animation: Am I going to really watch an anime for little boys about transforming trains for Ayaneru and Rieshon? Is that really a thing that's happening?

Death March kara Hajimaru Isekai Kyousoukyoku: For some reason people are excited for this. From where I'm standing it's just yet another narou-san isekai LN... But I guess we now live in a post isekai sumaho world where standards literally don't exist. Hopefully it's better than that garbage at least.

Koi wa Ameagari no You ni: noitaminA still exists apparently. Not a lot of expectations for this from the way it looks. Deko does know how to write a good script so maybe it has a chance, but his real forte is comedy.

Card Captor Sakura Clear Card-hen: Should I really watch this without having ever seen the original Sakura? Brain says no, JC Sakura and Tomoyo say yes.

DEVILMAN crybaby: I wasn't going to put this on anything until I saw it was a Yuasa anime. I'm still not very interested it in, but Yuasa gets a free pass because Yojouhan was so good.

Kokkoku: Umetsu... Uu my head... Probably won’t actually watch this.

Grancrest Senki: Okay so I almost certainly won't even actually watch this, and if I do I'll probably drop it after two or three episodes, but it's got some blonde girls whose designs are my jam so I'm putting it on here anyway. I'll never learn.
