Fluff and silliness Syntax edition because I know you love him and I love spiders in general they're adorable especially jumpers, they're dorks

Syntax is a competent flirt, and excellent at playing off his own embarrassment. Once in a blue moon, though, he does say or do something cute enough to crash his entire brain a few minutes later, which will have him on the floor blushing all the way down to his collar.

He's incredibly tender when someone can get him to cuddle. Excellent for watching documentaries at midnight with. He'll just sip his coffee until his companion falls asleep, then tuck them in and go work himself until he passes out unless they're cute enough that he wants to lie with them.

Also silliness with Huntsman. Huntsman is a great cook, but he only cooks for Syntax and once in a blue moon, Goliath. He leaves food for Syntax on a table outside his blast door. Syntax's workshop AI assistant always lets him know when food has arrived. Huntsman is a bit of a stubborn, bitter bitch except for this right here and 'Hurt my idiots and you die' mentality. The other spiders are growing on him because he's finally accepted that he likely doesn't have anything outside of the nest.

Back to fluff. When the spiders find out about his scars, Queenie will start watching him like a fucking hawk whenever he comes out of his lab, while Goliath will start checking on him regularly and Huntsman will make sure he's fed. It's really sweet but also subtle because these guys cannot communicate and have mixed feelings about Queenie.

And that's it for now, I should have more, and I intend to queue the lore drop for Syntax brooding over the memory of Queenie betraying him next week, so will soon have more food for those who love my headcanons and my writing.

And yeah. It's been pretty rough going through it with my dominant wrist completely out of commission at this point. fandom-wise, not to be a white person pointing fingers at white people, but cass is often shoved into a package deal with steph but like, in canon that mostly came with the erasure of their characters, in both their solos they were very much individuals and not attached at the hip dhshshjs sometimes it feels like it would kill some fans if they had to consume cass content that doesn't focus on steph for five minutes
