I wonder. Would red be a light sleeper, since on mt. silver hed need to be on guard for any wild pokemon or anything else. I already said i imagine him having a very consistent sleep/wake cycle so he usully goes to bed and wakes up without an alarm since...yknow he didnt have one on the mountain. That said deviating heavily from his routine could probably throw him off. If he didnt get enough sleep hes groggy and a bit annoyed by whatever made him lose out on his precious sleep time, whether it be wild pokemom or a particularly strong storm or whatever. Since he sleeps lightly to stay on alert, these things do wake him up and can throw him off a little for the day. Thankfully he lives on a mountain so its not like he had any plans that would be thrown off by it, just his own annoyance with his routine being foiled.
Perchance when he was on the mountain and he slept lightly for self preservation or whatever, now that he and green live together hes become a deep sleeper who could sleep through a lot bc he can finally relax and trust that he is safe and doesnt need to be watching out for any potential problems he could have as mountain man. Green is here now, and red knows he can be vulnerable and relax around her.
Green is extrmely touched by this, but also its a little annoying when they have plans and reds sleep/wake cycle made of netherite makes it difficult to wake him up before he usually would. He can but then hes groggy and doesnt want energy drinks or coffee so he takes awhile to fully wake up on his own lol.
We win some (complete trust and love for your wife and the happiness of the proof of how reliable and safe they see you as) and lose some (your beautiful wife trusts you so much he now sleeps through alarms and must be woken up by you specifically or you have to wait until his usual wake up time) im sure they figure some middle ground out after awhile but at first reds dedication to getting a full 9h of sleep is certainly annoying sometimes.

Hiii I hope youre doing alright. <3 I remember you mentioning you use a certain mouth wash to help with covid protection and Im just wondering what mouth wash it was? Im not sure what ingredients to look for so I figured Id ask. Tysm for the help! I hope this isnt too annoying to respond to. 😅🙈
Hi I love asks like these bc I love sharing information and this is straightforward n easy to answer!! I hope you don't mind me answering publicly bc I think more people should know about this!!
Cetylpyridinium chloride (CPC) is the mouthwash ingredient that kills covid virus in the mouth and upper throat!
Ideally paired with other preventatives, it can drastically reduce risk since it reduces the amount of live virus at the point of infection. I use it right after being around people I don't live with, and during long events I have a travel bottle in my purse to refresh every couple hours. I use this mouthwash (under $4 for a big bottle): https://www.walmart.com/ip/Equate-Alcohol-Free-Multi-Action-Antiseptic-Oral-Rinse-Zesty-Mint-33-8-fl-oz/26441079
(If you end up buying it elsewhere, double check for "Cetylpyridinium chloride" in the active ingredients. Some search results are misleading.)
Nose sprays can also help mitigate covid risk: https://www.okdoomer.io/nose-sprays-offer-a-last-line-of-defense/?ref=ok-doomer-newsletter
Fun fact, even if you DO get covid, studies have shown the fewer virus particles you're exposed to when you first get infected, the less severe the infection itself is likely to be for you!!

"In the water" : Sensuality/Solitude. Pinhole Photography/ Floating Camera. #1

"In the water" : Sensuality/Solitude. Pinhole Photography/ Floating Camera. #1 by Russell Moreton Via Flickr: russellmoreton.blogspot.co.uk/ In Defence of Sensuality : John Cowper Powys 1930. Foreword. The author feels that perhaps some explanation is due to the reader for the rather unusual employment of the word "Sensuality" which serves as the title of this work. The advantage given to the author by the use of this particular expression is that it enables him to proceed from rock-bottom upwards as far as he likes. A more refined title would have cut him off, in his method of developing his idea, from the physical roots of existence; for while it is easy to indicate the overtones and undertones of Sensuality it would be hard to bring a gentle, vague word, like the word "sensuousness" down to the bare, stark, stoically-stripped Life-Sensation which is the subject of this book. J.C.P. Dedicated to the memory of that great and much-abused man Jean-Jacques Rousseau Solitude. Susan Sontag, one of the most influential intellectuals and cultural critics of the 20th century, was known for her sharp insights into art, culture, and human experience. Her quote on eloquence and its relationship to solitude reveals her understanding of language and its connection to the individual's inner world. Sontag believed that the ability to speak well, to articulate thoughts clearly and compellingly, was not something innate or natural, but rather a product of isolation. In a society dominated by communal life—whether in families, groups, or communal settings—people often resorted to simpler forms of expression. According to Sontag, it was in solitude and separation from the crowd that a person could truly cultivate eloquence, as it was within these moments of isolation that individuals could confront their thoughts deeply and express them with clarity. Sontag's ideas about language were shaped by her larger body of work, which frequently examined the intersections of personal identity, social constructs, and the human condition. She explored the impact of isolation on creativity and individuality in many of her writings, such as in her groundbreaking essays on photography, film, and literature. For Sontag, eloquence was a sign of a developed, introspective mind that was not afraid to challenge the status quo. The "painful individuality" she referred to pointed to the existential cost of being alone, but also the creative freedom it afforded. It was through solitude that one could experience a more authentic form of self-expression, not shaped by societal expectations or norms, but born from the individual’s own inner dialogue. Her reflections on solitude, art, and language have continued to influence generations of thinkers and artists. Sontag's assertion that "thinking in words" is something derived from solitude offers an important insight into the nature of creativity and communication. In an increasingly interconnected world, where groupthink and collective experiences often dominate, Sontag's ideas remind us of the power of individual thought and the transformative potential of solitude. Her work continues to resonate today, especially for those who seek to find their voice in a world filled with noise and distraction.

it’s the way billy’s a scapegoat not only in show but for the duffers too like
people will spend all their time focusing on the actions of a fictional teenager rather than question the fact these two white men were all too eager to have a racial slur used against a literal child and have felt comfortable having racism in lucas’ story without it actually go anywhere all while putting no focus on him as a character
they use it as a thing, as a prop, rather than acknowledging it as the systemic issue it actually is - like they use it, have lucas canonically experience racism and then push his character to the back
it’s so blatant too, there’s nothing subtle about it but because everyone’s so busy focusing on big bad billy hargrove, racism doesn’t get discussed in the stranger things fandom the way it should because everyone’s too busy focusing on the actions of one single fictional character

We know how Sara Lance likes her coffee, black with lots of sugar! We learn that early on in Legends Season One. You might like your coffee differently and that's fine, so is artistic liberty in matters the show didn't elaborate on but if the show gave us the answer, stick with it. And the shows gave us several people's coffee preferences. Sara drinks it black with two sugars, Oliver likes it black, Felicity drinks a none fat latte with extra sugar (that makes zero sense on a nutrition level) just to name a few. We got the info. So do your research. Use another methaphor. Sorry things like that just really annoy me. But then again, I spend hours working out the smallest detail and researching things like Max Fuller's wife's name...
She doesn't like her coffee bitter, like her relationships and dirty martini, the woman mainly drinks scotch!, like do your research if you use it as something to make a point about a character and their actions.
And Sara was not sleeping with whoever tickled her fancy during her time with the Legends. There were a few choice people she hooked up with but she wasn't sleeping her way through time as so many Avalance people would like to make it out.
And who the hell thinks Ava's sweet while Oliver is bitter? It's like the exact opposite. Oliver's the sweetest person on the planet, Ava is so fucking bitter it's not even funny anymore.
And I don't why I'm over here ranting. Blame it on all the people tagging fics as Canarow simply for mentioning the fact that Sara used to date Oliver. That's a fact, you don't need to tag it that for two sentences.
I swear I get heat for also tagging a Canarrow story Olicity because technically in the story Oliver is with Felicity as in the present but Avalance and Olicity people tag a story Canarrow just because Sara and Oliver having been together is mentioned or they break up in the first chapter and them actually being together is never shown in the story.
Make it make sense and stop tagging your toxic bullshit with my ship! There are so few Canarrow fics out there don't throw your anti-fics in there I don't want to see those toxic ships under my happy tag.
I think I'm done now.
And where are my fellow Canarrow writers at? I sort of want to go through with "there can't be a none Canarrow ship at the top of the Canarrow tag" but I'm one person, my muse is flakey and given the amount of Avalance and Olicity people that are currently falsely tagging their fics Canarrow I will not be able to do that.
Wow this post just turned into something entirely different.
Anyway... I hope everyone has a great day.

im trying my hand at omegaverse with the chicago yoi fic and it somehow turned into a post-extinction event featuring an american intranet, no extradition, and anachronistic technology blending where only the richest of the rich can afford smartphones and computers unless its dictated they use one through their work (remember when only one person on your whole block had a computer so you'd go to their house to ogle it and the strange creature noises of their dial up?). so thats fun
