The measure of a production of Death Note is actually determined by how many characters sing I'm Ready. By this metric, the 2023 Korean production is the winner, as it featured FOUR different characters singing it.

Japan comes in second with two (and I'll give them a half point for Ryuk having a whole dance routine to it) and West End comes in last with only Misa.

I'm back from karaoke and hanging out with friends. My throat is a bit soar from all the intense singing. Me and two others watched some musical numbers from Phantom of the opera, Death Note the musical, Sweeny Todd, a french version of Hunchback of the Notre Dame and a Korean version av Dracula. The Dracula one had a red headed Dracula with tight leader pants and an open shirt x) My dash looks slow at the moment and I have a bit of a brain fog.
