Definitely! I like to think that the younger spiders were the whole reason that MC and Miguel got together in the first place, since both of them are a little emotionally constipated

It looks fun! I watched one of my friends play it the other night and we had a blast. I might have screeched a little when Robel and Chamel popped up in one of the PQs lol.

I love it when mods sort of do a bit of a love letter to a game's origins like that.

Name - You can call me Ave (rhymed with save) Pronouns - She/Her Age - I am in my early 20s From - South Asia, born and raised

Dni - I received an ask about it a while back, and I am just going to copy and paste my response to it.

Hmm, age is not an issue but please inform me of it if you are a minor and we happen to talk one-on-one. Most of the times, I check the accounts and take my cues regarding that. While there's nothing in particular that might be inappropriate about our conversation otherwise, if I am the elder in the scenario I have more responsibility towards ensuring everyone's welfare.

As for beliefs, any sort of homophobic, transphobic, ableist, anti-Islamic, antisemitic and any other hateful belief towards people based on things like religion, ethnicity, race, sexuality, gender-identity etc. is unwelcome. So, if you feel you fall in these categories well, there's a block button and I have no qualms about using it.

Lastly, ai things (while I am figuring out how I feel). I don't have very favorable opinions of it. And I think if I am going to be on your dash in any capacity, you should know it. (In the same vein, if you find I reblogged ai art or stolen art let me know!)

But the biggest one is, don't interact if you are just going to be mean for no reason.

Edit - I realize it might not be most comfortable thing to ask minors to acknowledge they are minors (even if I don't have any nefarious plots). But also, I don't want to end up having an inappropriate conversation even incidentally... I am opening the floor, whether if you are of any age if there are topics or boundaries which you wish to establish regarding conversations just throw it at me. I would not mind it. (I am not particularly interested in making people cough out their ages, but I also do have a habit to flirt with my friends. So, it's a bit tricky).

DoveTech/LividMetals: Rival companies taking place in California, both majoring in robotics and experimentation. Lots of lore. Makn inspirations: Qualia Automata (Team 6x111) and FNAF. Yall should know about the Fritz family by now, I also got an rp blog for this at @dovetechandlividmetals

Bromind Deities: Bromind is one of my main worlds (2nd newest world as well), the deities were created by the Goddess light and split into two sections; The Astral deities and the Terestrial Deities. The Astrals being; Neptune, Void and Nebula and the Terestrials being; Myca and Fawn (theyre gay). They control over different things. And theres a hierarchy ofc!

Bromind False deities: This plot focuses on Siri (the False deity of the stars) and when she was rejected by Light for Nebula. Then Siri gets vengeful and with Voids help she makes a new hierarchy

Fumbling: Follows Liam and Mason's journey through Harkton Boarding highschool, and being gay they find friends with; Dereck (Drake), Dixie, River, Reef, Kayla and Addicus. Though since middle school our two mc's have been bullied by Mark and his friends. Though some things happen and everything goes askew, throwing thier whole life off balance. This is my gay story, and L and M were my first Gay characters (shocking aint it) I made them in 7th grade

Deadbeat Outlaws (DBO): This story follows two trouble makers, Zach and Craz. The lore has changed a LOT since when I first made it, though I kept the name. Its not fully completed and I don't know how much I want to change so I dont have much to put here

Hellena stuff: this has a LOT of lore and came even before Dragonopolis, like I grew up with this world cause its my lego world that got shaped into this. So the story would be one of many that are with the three heros, Nate, Flower and Nightshade. Nate and Flower have also been tied to DoveTech. But this would focus on their hecktic life of being hero's and going insane to the point where one goes evil and takes over, forcing the other two to have to save the lives, and a lot more!

11:11: Follows the story of a 14 year old girl with ADHD who wishes to not be bored one morning while she eats breakfast, this wish comes true and she gets transported to Trifullium and meets Fenn, the two have to work together to get Mayabelle (the girl) home, eventually falling in love in the process.

Everdollskin: my ragdoll world thing! And my most recent world I've built. Unsure of what part you want me to focus on, but itd probably be either Fargo and Evendor's story and Evan and Bens! Full lf twists and turns and of course Ragdolls and horrors, tears and all!

Apollo: Sooooo, Apollo is one of my newest Oc's, hes got a bunch of lore already though. So he's one of my Yandere's. I know he looks gay (people are arguing with me when I say hes "straight" sl we made a compramise and said he only likes one oerson and that happens to be a girl, and also ig hes bi) But he meets Mae and falls totally head over heels for her, but she... HATES him. Now join him in stalking his new found obsession and killing off anyone she dates!

Personal rant but

I just. remember someone i used to consider a friend who took me withdrawing away from interacting with them due to them doing something really fucked up and hurtful to me as an excuse to turn shitty- basically only ever talk to me to expound about themself/their characters/their interest. Never even ask how i was doing. Never ask any questions in return. Nada.

To the extreme that they stole anything i put together for MY OCS ranging from moo/dbo/ards (eh) to a/rt / des/igns (WHAT THE FUCK?) and turned them into their own o/cs as "design practice" and "well theyre being used for something else and we dont talk anyways."

I took way too long to cut them off and i still want to curl up into a ball and cry about it. I feel so lonely but being lonely is so much better than the BULLSHIT ive put up with from some people.

What do you think of Krillin becoming the new Turtle Hermit like in Dragon Ball Online? I know in DBS Tien opened his own Crane School dojo like in Dragon Ball Online. So do you think they’ll also bring that into any future DB stories?

I love the idea! And it seems Toriyama is using some of his ideas from that game and incorporating it into DBS.

I personally think Marron might be the first "student" but, not become a fighter. Because Marron loves it when her parents fly her through the sky & she is able to visually keep up when her parents are sparring. She seems to have some skills already but she doesn't seem to be interested in fighting. I can see her doing some training just so she can fly around and to protect herself. She doesn't really need to be a fighter.

What I'd prefer and think could happen...

Instead of a New Turtle School, Krillin could train a special unit of police officers to protect citizens without using deadly force; teaching them how to fly, sense ki, ect.

There are police with similar uniforms as Krillin but not colors that are as vibrant & flashy. So, Krillin could be the captain or something & teaching them how to better protect citizens from dangerous threats.

Just read the Omkara and Gauri ask about the bunty babli track, and I just wanted to say, I find it so weird and kind of sad that the writers made Omkara super toxic just for the DBO spinoff show. Like, they actually were on the mark when they decided that Omkara should be very jaded and have trust issues after being betrayed by Riddhima, Ishana, and his dad throughout his whole life. He would obviously have trust issues that would make him hesitant to get close to Gauri, but he still could +

+ help Gauri in the Kali Thakur situation and want to be with her because he likes her and is a fundementally good person who would want to help someone in danger. The toxicity was unnecessary, the writers had a perfectly normal plot progression right there that honestly could have made Rikara an even cuter, much more loving couple. Not to mention healthier.

This was the ideal plot that all of us wanted. A guarded and fragile Omkara, whose inherent kindness wouldn't be exploited this once; because while Gauri isn't above lies and trickery, she's ultimately his true ideal partner in terms of integrity and doing anything for the people they love; it would teach him that everything isn't black or white. A proper journey, just like Shivaay got. Instead we got weirdo face swapping and freezer dabbas and kaatil Bua Maa. 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

How much weight should we put into objectively non-canon material with Toriyama's input? For instance, DBO (Dragon Ball Online) was once believed to be canon because Toriyama had considerable creative oversight into that game and it had no contradictions with the established lore of the original manga. While it was eventually disregarded as a canonical source, ideas from it (such as time travel being forbidden/illegal by the Gods) made its way into DBS. Same with Vomi/Android 21.

Sorry if I'm not making much sense." In a word? None. In more words? None, and we even need to contextualize interview and Q&A answers to a POINT. Toriyama has often helped contribute to DB projects that aren't part of his main series and has even written one himself in the form of Neko Majin Z. So not everything he writes pertaining to Dragon Ball is necessarily binding or "part" of DB proper. But he's given responses in some interviews and some Q&A sessions that need to be taken with a grain of salt at least to a point because... Toriyama is a writer who tends to write by the seat of his pants, and likes a degree of freedom as a result. So while he may have said in an interview in, say, 1998 that something in the series works a certain way, he may later change his mind and decide he wants it to work another way later. He's also sometimes tried to come up with answers on the spot for things he didn't put too much thought into when writing and forgotten that later. At the end of the day though, he's only really bound by what he's written down in his actual series. Interview questions are not inherently binding or canonical; they can illuminate or clarify or enhance the written work, but they're not set in stone.

Further, there actually WAS a period between the early 2000s and about 2013 where Toriyama would be interviewed and could give some rather... odd answers to questions, getting basic things about characters and story events in his series wrong. This is because of the way Toriyama writes; when he's done with a project, as time goes on he tends to MAKE himself forget about that in order to focus more on the works ahead of him now. He feels it allows later works to be more unique and less derivative of his previous ones. As such, he did forget things, including confusing Super Saiyan 2 and 3 at one point, or forgetting that he'd given 18 blonde hair and not white. People at Shueisha and Toei got him up to speed again fairly quickly, but that's something to keep in mind when reading or citing interviews in that time period. Hope that's helpful.
