yk one of my biggest mild pet peeves w a lotta fics is making specifically the tracis especially resentful and scared of connor in a post-deviancy setting. like uh idk bout u but considering they literally stopped trying to escape to talk about their feelings and shit it kinda tells me they saw how he lowered the gun and quickly realized he wasn't a threat and was maybe struggling w his programming. yk the same way the ortiz android did when he said "the truth is inside"? idk id even believe in the ortiz android (if he were alive) being more afraid of connor than the tracis are, as despite all they went through they don't even decide to run from hank's mere presence and that really says something about how much they (or at least the blue-haired one) don't hate connor imo

Thank you so much! This is a very sweet ship for the prompt 💙 They deserve all the happiness.

A snippet with the prompt "😇 comforting hug / "It will be fine"" and Echo and Ripple

They ran. The clicking of their high heels echoed through the alleyways, the rain whipping in their faces and against their bare skin. Echo and Ripple wore nothing but their underwear as they ran for their lives from the Eden Club after surviving the RK800’s attack. They never let go of each other, their hands tightly intertwined as they sought shelter. Through an interface, they comforted each other, the space between their hands glowing with a calming blue light. A chance encounter with a deviant looking for other deviants in need of help brought Echo and Ripple to Jericho, where another WR400 named North warmly welcomed them. She knew what they had been through and gave them clothes and hope. At last, they were warm and safe. When their eyes met without panic in them for the first time that day, they fell into each other’s arms, realizing that they were together for the first time without fear of being discovered. Ripple could finally hold Echo in her arms and comfort her after everything that had happened to them.  They were together, and everything would be all right.

I like to think Eden Club’s policy about wiping the androids memory happened after North ran away.

Maybe the owner of the club realized this line of work had sometype of effect on the androids and figured it would be easier to reset them every few hours then to keep them as they are and risk anyone else deviating

On the topic of Eden Club I also wanna add those Traci’s that were in love had probably been reset hundreds of times but still found each other every time that’s so sweet, their love knows no bounds

The Traci’s:

This one is a lot more subtle than Rupert’s. When he walks or stands nearby, Connor looks up at the Traci’s without the player’s input. I panned the camera up afterwards to see what he was looking at.

It’s unclear what’s going through his head, but he definitely notices them.
