Guidelines

Orana is a minor character from Dragon Age II whom I have spent years writing and developing. I do have a very particular way I write her that may not line up with your headcanons for her and that's absolutely fine. I am not the arbiter of everyone's Orana, just mine lol

It's been a while since I've roleplayed here on tumblr! Actual years even, so I may be a little behind on the current formatting trends but I'll do my best.

I very much enjoy crossovers! It's easiest if you have a DA verse but if it's a fandom that I can easily slot Orana into I'm definitely up to plot and interact.

I am super busy IRL for about half the week, my tuesday wednesday are essentially my weekends and when I'm most likely to reply to longer multi-para replies. I'm always up to DM and chat about stuff and I may reply to memes but those are the two days I really try and be productive on here.

Given my character's history as a slave dark subject matter is very likely to come up. I always do my best to tag accordingly but if I miss something I take no offense to someone mentioning it.

I don't particularly ship Orana with anyone in a romantic sense, I play her largely aroace though the occasional crush slips through but I LOVE platonic ships for her. The adoption papers are ready to be signed.

If you post something with flashing lights, etc PLEASE tag it (epilepsy warning, tw flashing lights, etc). I am photosensitive and even if I enjoy your writing I will unfollow if you unintentionally make my dash unsafe.

Looking for some Lucanis x Rook Epilogue Roleplay (SPOILERS FOR DA:TV and Lucanis' Story below - Proceed at own risk)

Hello! I'm looking for a roleplay partner for Lucanis x Rook, specifically for the Epilogue, after Veilguard. MxM - (Both AMAB) You playing Lucanis, me playing Rook. I can keep my descriptions of Rook to a minimum so to prevent overlap if you'd like, but ideally looking for someone who wouldn't mind having to deal with my humorous / compassionate Rooks quirks and story. This however will be a Lucanis focused roleplay with Rook basically acting as the secondary, as this is exploring Lucanis side. There can be little to no mention of the Veilguard storyline too if you want to keep away from conflicting worldstates. I play a dwarf Grey Warden Rook with a custom background. However I can also keep my descriptions of Rook and their background to a minimum too if you wish.

General Plot Idea (Spoilers for Lucanis' personal quest): With the culmination of the end of the fight with the Evanuris, Lucanis and Rook return to Villa Dellamorte where Lucanis must adjust to his role of First Talon, and decide what to do with the consequences to Illario's actions. It's basic, and we can flesh it out further. Was thinking there is a power vacuum with the Venatori and remaining Antaam, not to mention political unrest after Ivenci's anti-crow propaganda. Of course, perhaps not all the crows are thrilled their First Talon is also now an abomination.

The only requirements for this roleplay is that: - You are over 18 and are not a minor - Have finished Veilguard or are close to finishing - Have discord or willing to download it so we can make a private server to roleplay there. - Can post at least 4 paragraphs per reply - You want to explore and are comfortable with the darker themes of the story - That Illario was imprisoned in the story, and not forgiven.

Themes (Spoilers and dark theme territory, read at own risk): I want to return to the darker themes of the previous games. So the racism, slavery, consequences of blood magic and political upheaval. There can be romance, and I'm more than happy to write smut. This will not be focused on Rook. This is specifically for Lucanis and for Rook to help support him in what comes.

About me: I have over 15 years roleplay experience. I mostly do explicit roleplay. My replies vary in length but I usually post between 5-8+ paragraphs and ideally looking for someone who can either match me or at least put out 4+ paragraphs regularly.

Kinks and Icks: This is best left for DM but be aware I have no icks beyond underage, non-con, generally anything to do with toiletry. I write to please my partner.

i absolutely understand there was no way to account for every single choice ever made-- that's literally impossible across so many games and so many years and so many changes. i do, however, think that 3 games worth of established lore should be worth something and like.... addressed. there are always going to be things that are retconned over time, i even said previously that i liked some of the changes around the qunari that happened back in inquisition because it felt like a step in the right direction and finally fleshing them out and establishing their culture in a meaningful way. but that's not what's happening in veilguard. they do the opposite. with everyone, the qunari and the elves and the dwarves and even the humans. they get reduced to generic, bland, homogeneous, nonreligious groups that all get along amongst themselves. the dalish elves are either just dead in the background (which to be fair has always been a consistent feature of these games lol) or absorbed into the veil jumpers, who are a huge mix of humans and qunari and elves, etc. kal-sharok gets literally Nothing despite one of the main companion quests taking place there-- there are no dwarven politics like we've seen previously, the kal-sharok aren't even especially isolationist nor do they take any time to explore their proximity to tevinter (and what they did to keep trading with them), or the blight and darkspawn (and how it's changed them and their relationship to orzammar). the qunari are all antaam, just faceless bodies for rook and co to kill because they needed more enemy variety, and what we do see with shathann and taash does not cohere with what we've learned previously about gender in the qun. the chantry is basically nonexistent despite two games setting up this massive conflict between mages and templars, despite veilguard literally revolving around massive revelations of faith… and i know we're in northern thedas so the chantry and templars do function differently, but our only two templars we get a lot of interactions with are "good guys" (and rana specifically can get up on her high horse about it with neve with no option for us to give her the third degree like she's not a fantasy cop whose coworkers are paid off by rich magisters lol) like... these are huge, glaring changes that do not align with a lot of what we've seen in previous games and also have nothing to do with complex branching choices.
