Update

I finally heard from dA staff.

The reason behind terminating my account was based on multiple reports of harassment and hate speech. The proof of this hate speech? The journals of mine that were meant as PSAs for theft.

They claim that, especially in regards to my first PSA back when Shanna was being harassed over a TDA model's attire, leading to myself being harassed for standing up for her. Due to the way things were worded, dA staff agreed that it was grounds for harassment and bullying.

Their second example was the PSA made during the entire LyraLaney debacle. Due to the amount of screenshots that disclosed personal information linked to the victims of Lyra, such as Paypal receipts and such, that was agreed to also be grounds for harassment and bullying, but doxxing was also considered due to said personal information (despite me doing my best to ensure that was either struck out or not shown at all).

The third was in regards to my account getting multiple reports for, again, harassment and bullying, with hate speech included in a couple of said reports. This comes not that long after my models were stolen for a third time, so I can only think that MEGACollector may have mass flagged my account as a final petty move for getting their own account taken down. It may not be related, but in my opinion its pretty fishy that the timeframe between their account being terminated and my own being terminated is too close to be a coincidence.

The deviantART staff concluded that, after taking a look at the types of journals I had posted over the years (and more recently, the PSA journals and status updates), my account met the criteria for breaking their guidelines on multiple occasions. I tried to argue with this claim, but again the proof they used were the PSAs and the multiple reports my account had supposedly gotten. It was also noted that "ban evading" was considered, but "gracefully" not thrown in as I was forthcoming with the fact that I had used incognito mode to check whether my content had been deleted from MEGACollector's gallery prior to their own termination.

They were firm on their stance and I will NOT be getting my account back. As frustrating as this is, there isn't much else that I can do to appeal their decision. As such, below is again the link to my alt account that will now ultimately become my new main account. I'm going to start uploading what I could save of my work (between tumblr, instagram, etc) now so that the gallery is not empty and I can get restarted.

Hey I’m back! I passed my statistics final and finished my fall semester of college. I’m on winter break and plan to post more often here. Again feel free to send me asks, because I’ve got all the time in the world now.

PSA ! Because I've seen it be brought up in YouTube videos, in the comments section on Itch, and in quite a few asks on Tumblr... Here are some common misconceptions about "14 Days With You" that I'd like to clear up!

14 Days With You is not an otome game; it's an amare game!! The main character (Angel) is not a female heroine/female protagonist, and they're not written to be female-coded. Yes, you have the option to customise your pronouns and how others perceive you, but there is no "default" or fixed narrative perspective for 14DWY (outside of a gender-neutral perspective).

If it isn't already obvious, Ren's characterisation heavily leans into the "dere" aspect of a yandere. He genuinely loves Angel... Just to a terrifying degree.

None of the cast members are heterosexual, so please don't assume that all of Teo's exes/flings were women, that Leon has only had girlfriends in the past, that Olivia is only attracted to good-looking men, etc. In a similar vein, I want to remind everyone that Jae-Hyun is gay and Kiara is a lesbian.

14DWY is also a romance game!! The whole point is to get to know Ren, grow closer with him, and ultimately romance him. So please stop asking me to include BTD, TDDUP, or W1WD mechanics in the game. It's completely fine if you like those types of genres — and I'm not here to yuck anyone's yum — but it's not the vibe I'm going for with 14DWY, and it's not something I want to write about.

Similarly... Violet, Jae, Moth, and Teo all dye their hair as well. But I'm happy if folks want to headcanon that "unnatural" hair colours can exist in the 14DWY universe.

Ren does not have DID or BPD. He's merely a desperate yandere who changes aspects of himself + creates different "personas" to appease Angel (and essentially become their ideal type). He definitely has a pessimistic outlook on his real self, though he does not identify or feel genuine in any of his created personas. I'm comfortable for those who have DID/BPD/etc to headcanon Ren as such, but I heavily discourage everyone else from doing so as I don't want to give them an incorrect or bad reputation.

The 18+ scenes are optional!!!!! The game is intended to be played without them — it's even turned off by default. Nobody is forced to sleep with Ren.

14 Days With You is a passion project that I work on in my free time for fun. I'm not making a profit off of it, I'm not looking to turn it into a career, and in the most /pos way possible; it's not important enough for me to make a priority. So... Please stop guilt-tripping me for updates when I already don't have enough time or luxury to work on it ;v;

I’m back anyways ya’ll deserve an explanation for why I haven’t posted in a while. School specifically college courses are kicking my ass. Specifically statistics and I will soon have to do some field work for my degree. Now I’m not abandoning this blog, this just means posts will be more infrequent. Like I said in my pinned guidelines post, I’m but one humble little crab person running this blog. Anytime ya’ll reblog or like posts on here makes my day. there's something interesting about emmrich's hangout being so... structured and composed. everyone else's hangout is under the guise of some sort of errand, yes, but they're very casual and free-form. whereas with emmrich, he's taking you on this tour of the memorial gardens in the necropolis. and it is a tour—when he shows you the undead tableaux, it feels like he's reading off a script with the way he describes it to rook, tour guide style. and later, when he opens up to rook, it is always him initiating with the distinct feeling of something being said on purpose, like he had prepared to discuss it.

the flirt at the end gives a romance-flavoured explanation: that he was specifically trying to impress rook, that this is an attempt to endear himself to them. and in a lot of ways, it does look like that: he takes rook to one of the most beautiful, peaceful places he knows, opens up to them about his past, and then he has tea set up at the end of it, like a good host. (he is also rather caught off guard when you flirt with him here, and it could be interpreted as him being embarrassed at being caught out, or trying to walk it back so he doesn't offend).

however.... i don't really think that was his intention? this is probably coloured by the fact that i feel like, comparatively, emmrich has had very few one on one interactions with rook to this point and he breezes by the only flirt before this, but i don't think he walked into the memorial gardens with any intention to charm or otherwise woo rook, here. i think his intention was to get them alone and get an honest read on how they felt about him. specifically, about his work as a necromancer.

if you've rotated different people through the party with him, and if you've paid attention to the conversations he's had with others in the lighthouse, it becomes abundantly clear basically immediately that everyone has opinions on necromancy, and they largely fall into the territory of distrusting, put off, or even outright disgusted by it. a lot of emmrich's early banter with several party members is him going about the pretty exhausting ordeal of defending his magic, the mourn watch, his fields of study, manfred's existence, etc. and because of the lack of one on one time with rook, i'd be surprised if he felt like he'd really had an opportunity to get a read on what his new colleague actually thinks about it all.

so i think he is trying to impress rook, just... not like that. i think he's trying to prove that the necropolis is beautiful, that it's laden in history and rituals that mean something. that the mourn watch is good (the sort of order that would take in an orphan, and give him purpose and structure), and that even necromancers can fear death. i think he's trying to prove that he's a person, under all the misconceptions about his work that seem to go around the lighthouse when he isn't looking.

and i think that's why he looks so taken aback and genuinely surprised when rook flirts with him at the end—because it really wasn't his intention, but he recovers fast enough to pivot with grace. i don't think he's uninterested, i just think he wasn't sure rook could be.
