I think Two Chains said it best when he proclaimed "Just shake that money maker, don't let the money make ya"

The philosophy that rather than caring of material possessions or being obsessed with money, we should strive to throw as much ass as possible really resonates with me.

Although, the true value in this quote is discovered once you take into account how the language in both clauses mesh with one another. Aside from them rhyming, Mr. Chains refers to one's bottom as a money maker. I think this was quite intentional. Shaking your money maker is a metaphor for doing what you love or showing off a gift bestowed unto you by a higher power. And shaking (showing off and/or using) this aforementioned money maker (gift) brings money.

Now money, in this instance is a metaphorical term to mean any good thing that could come from showing off an attribute or talent. Money could be attention, validation, something real, or even actual money. What Mr. Chains is saying by "Just shake that money maker, don't let that money make ya" is "Go forth unto the world with yourself, be bold and show off your gifts (in other words, shake that money maker), but don't let yourself be quantified or ranked among others as a person by whatever merit or reward you receive simply for bringing this gift to attention, less your personality be morphed, corrupted, or made by your new sense of worth based on this talent".

I think two separate philosophers, Little Yachty, and Sir D.R.A.M, embody this philosophy quite well in a line from the song Broccoli, which states "I was Five or Six years old when I had told myself "Okay, you're special", but I treat you as my equal, never lesser."
