A Clipse album is in our near future. You don’t convince Malice to rap with his brother again for the past three years and not work on a project. Malice’s verse on Pusha T’s new album is the best he’s sound since reuniting with Push. So he’s found his footing again without having to rap about coke and selling drugs like he use to.

Future & Travis Scott on that Southside record sound like 2015/2016 era. The SoundCloud era, to be exact. That’s a good thing. To me, that was their peak where both guys was in a zone. Everything they was touching worked. Listening to that song also gives me nostalgia of running the streets and partying in that era.

Taylor Allderdice hitting streams last week was great. But leaving songs off or changing the beat of songs because the samples can’t get cleared is wack. I get it, but it’s wack. This goes back to my point of building up your iTunes with old music and why it’s very valuable to do so.

Wale’s dropping his classic More About Nothing mixtape on streams this week. So we’ll see if his tape gets hit with the monetizing bullshit too. Jerry Seinfeld got NBC to clear all of the Seinfeld samples on the tape, so that part of the samples is not going to be a problem.

TDE heard all the noise, because they’re not slowing down with releasing new music damn-near every week. It’s great to see Ab-Soul back. He’s been M.I.A. for what seems to feel like a whole decade.
