Visited the hospital for a relative on my mother's side and visited "The Good Samaritan" Medstar Chappell.
No food or drink is allowed inside, obviously. Because you can not eat or drink unless instructed.
-------
Hand sanitizer.🫧
Walked clockwise around the building interior once, without headphones/earbuds or electronics on person(completely turned off and in the mini room before the sanitizer would probably be fine).🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
Put my witches ladder prayer beads for Elen and Arawn on a little table without disturbing any of the stuff in the drawer (little votive candle mileage may vary based on location)🛐
Meditation staring at the pretty star of david window. 🔯To visit my ancestors asociated with the visit.
Hand sanitizer 🫧(leave the way you came in)
Touch the little wooden statue near the door. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
-----
Didn't even have to sigh in or anything. I just walked in minded my business and walked out.

Tri Thiws ar Ddeg Ynys Prydain | Thirteen Treasures of the Island of Britain Series: 1/13  - Dyrnwyn, the Sword of Rhydderch Hael
The Dyrnwyn ("White-Hilt") is said to be a powerful sword belonging to Rhydderch Hael,[3] one of the Three Generous Men of Britain mentioned in the Welsh Triads. When drawn by a worthy or well-born man, the entire blade would blaze with fire. Rhydderch was never reluctant to hand the weapon to anyone, hence his nickname Hael meaning "the Generous", but the recipients, as soon as they had learned of its peculiar properties, always rejected the sword.

Actually I think Gwrhyr Gwalstawd Ieithoedd should be the patron of Welsh learners. First step of being a Welsh learner is figuring out how to pronounce his name. Second step is wishing for his ability to know literally all languages including animal languages with no perceivable effort or difficulty. Third step is confusion over how he has mastered his languages to an extent that he can talk to a boar while in bird form.

I am unsure whether it is in the T H White version of Arthur, but considering the Arthur tale began in Wales, it does seem fitting to include it.
Though I have never heard of it, called fith fath before
I'm pet-sitting for my sister and she has Disney+, so I decided to watch some of the older Disney films I remember fondly from my early childhood. And I came across this memorable scene from "The Sword in the Stone".

I read the "The Sword in the Stone" by T.H. White only once, so I don't remember if this is actually in there or something Disney added, but what I do know now is that this a surprisingly accurate reference to the concept of fith fath in Welsh folklore, specifically surrounding the origins of the famous bard Taliesin. (Disclaimer: I am not actually Welsh, though I do have some Welsh ancestry and consume folklore like food, so the following may not be entirely accurate).
The whole tale is worth checking out, but the gist of it is that a boy named Gwion Bach accidentally stole awen (wisdom/creative thought) being brewed for the son of the goddess Ceridwen and she pursued him in murderous rage. Using his newfound knowledge in fith fath (which is the knowledge of knowing how to hide from one's enemy by, folklore indicates, shapeshifting), he changed into several different animals, with Ceridwen one-upping him as a predator of whichever animal he chose, until he became a grain of some sort that Ceridwen swallowed in the form of a hen. Then he was reborn from her nine months later as a child with a "shining brow" indicating the awen inside him, Taliesin.
There is a song by Damh the Bard (link below) that tells the tale in song form, as it should be since it is about arguably the British Isles' most fabled bard.

So while I highly recommend reading the article I would also go as far as to say this is not the parrrallel of the long awaited second comming of Jesus of nasareth/Nor the messiah of Hebrew folklore/Battle of souls (or whatever thats called)in the quaran.
This is a religion steeped in witchcraft and new age movements. These figures of Merlin and the like are not only found within tourists outlets of Stonehenge and glastonbury but a whole slew of popular culture.
What comes to mind more prominently is the Justice League franchise and Etrigan, The Demon/Jason Blood, The Knight; Merlin being mentioned as a background character with other little creatures known as Hobgoblins/Bwach or trogowogs (not great rebranding) btw)
There is probably more someone with Cornish or other "celtic" ancestry both like and unlike my mixed self that would be able to articulate more. Anyhow that's my rant of the day.

Welsh Myth and Folklore 5/? : Rhiannon - Goddess of Sovereignty and Horses (The Mare of Sovereignty. The Great Queen)
“She is the nightmare, the whispers of wisdom that come to us in dreams. She is indicative of many traits of the human condition; she instills wisdom and guides her husband to be of greater care; she is loving, faithful, and accepting of her fate. She is the sorrowful queen, the embodiment of grief and bereavement, compassion and humility. Aligning oneself to Rhiannon is to wander into her halls of teaching, of taking counsel before her; by listening to her wisdom, we learn much about our own inherent humanity… As a magical ally, Rhiannon connects us to the land beneath our feet and our place in time and tribe. She is an effective ally for magic concerning deep emotional healing and help, grief and heartbreak being her forte.“
Hughes, K. (2018) The Book of Celtic Magic: Transformative Teachings from the Cauldron of Awen. Llewellyn Publications: Minnesota U.S
Rhiannon is a major figure in the Mabinogi, the medieval Welsh story collection. She appears mainly in the First Branch of the Mabinogi, and again in the Third Branch. She is a strong-minded Otherworld woman, who chooses Pwyll, prince of Dyfed (west Wales), as her consort, in preference to another man to whom she has already been betrothed. She is intelligent, politically strategic, beautiful, and famed for her wealth and generosity. With Pwyll she has a son, the hero Pryderi, who later inherits the lordship of Dyfed. She endures tragedy when her newborn child is abducted, and she is accused of infanticide. As a widow, she marries Manawydan of the British royal family and has further adventures involving enchantments.

Because its welsh so they are not interested, and if they do make a series they will find some way to make it English and butcher everything about it.
Why isn't there a comedy series about the Mabinogion?
the comedy potential of Gwydion rhyming a rotting bird out of a tree (and the bird is also his nephew.)
