#CYBERPUNK ENDINGS SERIES#
If none of this interests you, then there is an alternative – after all, Vic gave you a pistol for a reason. Option 2 – Return as V, knowing the end is near Option 1 – Let Johnny take the body, with V becoming part of the Alt. Once in cyberspace, you can make one of two decisions: He will kill Rogue, but she will throw a grenade into his armor, and you will get her cannon. Then follow Rogue and enter the security rooms. Next, you, Rogue, and Wayland travel to the Arasaka Tower.Īlong the way, Alt destroys the satellite.Īviacar knocks down security, but you land on one of the floors. She agrees to help, makes a plan, and finds help. Johnny takes control, and you move to Rogue. By choosing this option, Johnny will take control of V’s body, and you will end the game for him. So it is recommended that you complete side missions to achieve this ending. This ending is not available if you have a weak relationship with the Silverhand engram. What it takes: A great relationship with Johnny is needed Ultimately, he, too, will leave Night City to start from scratch. If Johnny is allowed to take the body, he will return to Earth to engage in self-destruction. As a bonus, if you have a relationship with Judy before the final mission, she will go with you. If you choose to return as V, you will leave Night City with the clan – they know someone who can help with the imminent death. Option 2 – let Johnny take the body and stay in cyberspace as part of the Alt. Option 1 – Return to Earth in your body and live the remaining days. Once in cyberspace with Johnny and Alt, a new solution follows, which depends on the ghost’s relationship. She will help you deal with the guards and then move on to Mikoshi.
#CYBERPUNK ENDINGS SERIES#
Next, use the drill to penetrate the tower with Sol and Panam.Īfter a new series of battles until you get to Alt. Inside the tunnel, next to the drilling machine, you must tell Mitch to return to the clan in Basilisk. Unfortunately, this is where the first deaths begin. Here you will find battles both inside and outside the tank before you break into the tunnel. The next day, you will explore the construction site before climbing into the Basilisk. Sol will make you a member of the clan, Panam will give his jacket (good stats) Mitch talks about the changes in the Basilisk (tank) Panamans are transported to the clan’s camp, where the tunnel’s plan under the skyscraper is discussed.ĭakota agrees to contact Alt to help in the tower. While you wait, Misty can read the Tarot, which will reveal the last cards in the set. You call Panamas, and she agrees to infiltrate the Arasaka Tower to get to Mikoshi. Refuse and return to Earth, where V is waiting for death for 6 months Sign a contract and become a V engram to get a possibly new body in the future. Repeating scenes occur until Anders appears with a contract. In the finale, you wake up in the Arasaki space station. You go back to your body and leave Johnny with the Alt. When you catch Yorinobu, pass it to Hanako.Īnders takes him to Mikoshi, wherein cyberspace they meet with a disgruntled Johnny. Soon the boss appears – Adam Smasher, who once killed Johnny. You take part in the directors’ meeting where the father appears.Ī battle ensues, but Arasaki’s son escapes. Her father is revealed to be alive as an engram. You can ask Misty to read the Tarot, which opens the last cards in the set while you wait.Īfter saving Hanako, you fly to the Arasaka Tower. Hanako sends a car for V, driven by Anders. You call Hanako she says that her brother is in custody. Johnny won’t like this, but there are always Omega blockers to silence the ghost in his head. Regardless of your relationship with Johnny and the characters in Night City, you can always choose an option and trust Arasaka in the game’s final mission.

Cyberpunk endings
Tumblr media
At this rate, it’s safe to assume that any continuation of the story will take place in the expansions. But if it ever does happen, the chances of V being playable are incredibly slim. Given that Cyberpunk 2077 is going to be supported for many years, not to mention the developer hinting at wanting to return to The Witcher, a sequel already seemed unlikely from the start. We’ll get to that in a bit.Īll in all, the story really wants to convince you that V doesn’t survive in the long-term. Now the real question: Where does the story go from here? CD Projekt RED has already confirmed the existence of paid expansions and multiplayer, though it’s likely that the latter has you playing as a custom mercenary. It’s possible that there are other options as well but for now, it is what it is and Life Paths don’t make any real difference. These are the endings that have been discovered based on current playthroughs. This mission has no checkpoints, several difficult enemies and dying will immediately end the game. Eventually – somehow – Johnny and V will attack Arasaka solo. Then during the final mission, one must opt out of all the other choices. Become friends with Johnny and choose specific dialogue choices when visiting his grave. The two come to terms with it – and each other – but it’s still a sudden end to the game.Īs for the “secret-ish” ending, it’s more of an alternative to how you’d normally assault Arasaka Tower and leads to the second and third endings. V essentially commits suicide, taking Silverhand with him. Of course, one could also opt to just end it all before even assaulting the tower. The next job sees V engaging in a heist in space so that’s neat. Opting to give control to V will see them taking charge of Afterlife and becoming a legend of Night City, though his life is still on a timer. If you complete Rogue’s side quests, Johnny will take over V’s body and assault Arasaka Tower along with her. He doesn’t have to worry about dying in six months though so it’s a happy ending for him. However, the rocker undergoes a change of sorts, becoming more somber and eventually leaving town. Giving control to Johnny effectively allows Silverhand to be reborn. If someone becomes V’s romantic partner, then they’ll also feature in this. Opting for the former sees the player joining Panam to leave Night City with her group and effectively live out whatever time he has left. From here, you decide whether V regains control of his body or Johnny gets control. Completing quests for the former has Panam helping in the assault on Arasaka Tower. Three other endings depend on completing side quests for either Panam or Rogue. Either way, V’s ultimate fate is unknown. It’s possible to upload V’s consciousness into Mikoshi for some kind of solution to emerge down the line or return to Earth and use whatever time they have left. Unfortunately, V has only six months left to live due to the damage that the Relic has caused. You’ll have to kill Adam Smasher along the way and when it’s done, V is taken to a space station by Arasaka where they have the Relic – and Johnny Silverhand – removed. The most basic ending involves storming Arasaka Tower to access Mikoshi where the minds of the Soulkiller victims are stored. Spoilers are inbound for each and every single one so if you’ve yet to complete the game, now is the time to bail. There are significant differences in each and some require completing specific characters’ side quests to unlock them. By now, many who picked up Cyberpunk 2077 and played it non-stop would have unlocked one of the five different endings in the game (and maybe even the secret-ish ending).

CYBERPUNK ENDINGS HOW TO
CYBERPUNK ENDINGS SERIES
CYBERPUNK ENDINGS HOW TO
While the best ending is up to personal preference, this article should still help people see just how many endings there are in Cyberpunk 2077 and how to get the best one. Since more and more gamers are now entering Night City to see what the game is all about, this would be a good time to revisit this list. The team is still rolling out updates and steadily improving the experience. Along with the game itself, developer CD Projekt Red has found itself steeped in controversy since the game released. Updated On May 27th, 2021, by Jason Wojnar: Cyberpunk 2077's launch woes are no secret. It should also go without saying, but massive spoilers are abundant below. Most of them have some sort of prerequisite, but almost all of them are obtainable from before the point of no return, so anyone who rushed through the story without engaging in side quests should not worry about missing out. Fortunately for players, it is easy to go back and experience most of these endings after beating the game once. The following list ranks them all from worst to best. Related: 10 Unanswered Questions From Cyberpunk 2077 We Want Answered In DLC Some vary greatly from each other, while a few are minor variations. Eight exist in all within the cyberpunk science fiction adventure. Like any open-world RPG worth its weight in side-quests, there are numerous endings for V, the customizable protagonist, and Johnny Silverhand's journey. All of these areas appear in other endings so it is best that you complete the game at least once before attempting the secret ending in Cyberpunk 2077.Cyberpunk 2077, despite all of its problems, is still commendable for its massive size and engaging main story. The secret ending path requires you to find your own way through Arasaka Tower’s main entrance, find the elevator, and create a path to Mikoshi through the Netrunner operation area. If you fail, the game’s credits will roll and it’s all over. This means you only have one shot at getting the secret ending in Cyberpunk 2077. If you get killed during the secret ending situation you can’t try again from your last checkpoint.
CYBERPUNK ENDINGS SERIES
You need elite-level weapons and Cyberware and a maxed-out character build. In order to unlock the secret Don't Fear the Reaper ending, you must have completed a series of Side Jobs that are centered around Johnny Silverhand BEFORE entering Embers to meet with Hanako. It is highly recommended that you don’t go for this option until and unless you’re fully equipped and familiar with the game’s mechanics. Instead, V and Johnny will try to raid Arasaka Tower solo which is an extremely difficult challenge. The secret ending has nothing to do with the “path of least resistance” option even though there is mention of suicide. So in short, to get the secret ending in Cyberpunk 2077 stay silent during your conversation with Johnny on the balcony until the fifth dialogue option is triggered. As Johnny says, “it’s a wild suicide run” and V describes the job as “going out with a bang.” If you don’t say anything, don’t choose any of the four options for a few minutes, Johnny will eventually speak and take your silencer as a sign that you don’t want to put your friends in danger. To unlock the fifth dialogue option you need to remain quiet during your conversation with Johnny. However, there is also a fifth dialogue option. During your conversation with Johnny Silverhand, you have up to four four dialogue options (as long as you complete the requisite side jobs). You do this during a scene where V stands on a balcony reflecting how to proceed after Mistry leaves you alone. You can get the hidden secret ending during the Nocturne Op55N1 main job in Cyberpunk 2077. The Corpo ending where you side with Arasaka, the Nomad ending where Panem and Co help out, and the fixer ending where you. Cyberpunk 2077 Secret Ending Guide – How to Unlock Secret Ending

How do you do your lighting??? It looks so simple, yet it looks so good???? I’m going crazy with lighting LMAO
Movies can be a great way to reference lighting schemes and color palettes from! I'll be using this scene below as an example:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I use either Normal, Screen, Color Dodge or Linear Dodge (Add) layer modes to add lighting. Don't limit yourself to these, experiment to see what works for you :)
Layer 1: Main lighting source.
Layer 2: Bounce light. (Optional - depends on the environment)
Layer 3: Additional glow. Airbrush the light areas to make it more vibrant.

thinking about how v’s name is only uttered twice during the events of cyberpunk 2077, and only once by the person who knew her the most. how the alias of “v” become something akin to a mask, something to hide behind. v the merc, strong-willed and capable. she put “valerie” to bed years ago, buried her. thinking about the conversation at the oilfields, when johnny says “most people i thought were my friends couldn’t even stand to be in the same room with me. you’re fucking closest to me by a long shot, there 24/7. and yet, you don’t seem to hate my living guts.” the intimacy of sharing one mind, one heart. v and johnny as an “us” and “we” in the most literal sense of the word; one and the same. thinking about the tower’s epilogue, where v talks aloud to johnny, even though he’s not there. how in all the endings where one is left without the other, how often that must have happened. how painful it would be to become accustomed to sharing one mind with each other, only to have that ripped away, and the loneliness that must come with it.
