Jaebum unlocks his phone with shaking fingers. He takes a few deep breaths to steady himself, ignoring the crimson liquid leaking from his upper arm. He supposes he’s lucky; he escaped the lion’s den with his life. A meeting had gone badly, and he ended up getting away with a knife wound on his upper arm and another at his side. Goddamn I really need to learn some more advanced self-defense techniques. The basic lessons from when he was younger wasn’t nearly enough to adequately protect himself. He wondered whether anyone he knew could train him or something. Either way, that wasn’t something to focus on currently.

Jaebum sighs after hitting send, grabbing the first aid kit from under the kitchen counter. He isn’t sure if he should do anything with the wound, but figures it would just be best to try and stop the bleeding. So he wraps the gauze tightly around his arm. He figures the one at his side isn’t so bad. At least blood isn’t gushing out like it is from his arm. So he just leaves the other wound alone. He pulls a black leather jacket on, wincing at the pain when he threads his arm through. At least this way he wouldn’t be bleeding all over the place in public. 

It doesn’t take particularly long for him to get from home to headquarters. If Raphael didn’t show up, then he’d just find a different medic to help patch him up. There must be someone in the building who knew basic first aid.
