Little Steps to Forever
Pairing: Charles Leclerc x Reader
Warnings: Mentions of animal abuse, fluff, comfort
Summary: Charles and you find a stray dog who’s been through too much. With love, patience, and Leo’s help, you give him a new life filled with warmth and safety.
---
It was supposed to be a simple evening walk with Leo through the quiet streets of Monaco. The little dog happily trotted along, sniffing every lamppost and bush, his tail wagging in the crisp night air. You held the leash loosely, chatting with Charles, who was animatedly recounting something about his last race.
And then you heard it—a faint whimper coming from the shadows of an alley.
“Did you hear that?” you asked, stopping mid-step.
Charles nodded, already scanning the dimly lit area. Leo tilted his head, ears perking up at the sound.
You both followed the soft cries, your heart clenching at the sight before you. A small, trembling dog huddled against a dumpster, his thin frame barely holding him up. His fur was matted, patches missing, and his eyes were wide with fear.
“Oh, mon cœur,” Charles whispered, crouching down slowly.
You gently tugged Leo’s leash, keeping him at a distance to avoid overwhelming the terrified animal. Charles extended a hand, but the dog flinched and let out a weak growl.
“Shhh, it’s okay,” Charles cooed, his voice soft and soothing. “We won’t hurt you.”
You crouched beside him, your voice equally tender. “He’s so scared, Charles. What do we do?”
“We can’t leave him here,” he said, determination flashing in his green eyes.
---
It took nearly an hour of patient coaxing, a few pieces of Charles’ leftover croissant, and Leo’s calm presence for the dog to inch closer. When he finally let Charles touch him, your heart swelled with a mixture of relief and sadness.
“He’s coming home with us,” Charles said firmly, wrapping the trembling dog in his jacket.
You didn’t argue.
---
The first few days were tough. The dog—who you decided to name Buddy after Charles joked he needed a “buddy system” to feel safe—wouldn’t eat if either of you were in the room. He flinched at sudden movements and cowered in corners when voices got too loud.
But slowly, little by little, Buddy began to trust.
Charles was endlessly patient, spending hours sitting quietly on the floor, letting Buddy approach on his own terms. You cried the first time Buddy nudged Charles’ hand, seeking comfort.
Leo, ever the gentle one, became Buddy’s anchor. The two dogs were inseparable, with Leo often lying beside Buddy during naps or bringing him toys as if to say, “It’s okay here.”
---
One night, you found Charles in the living room, stretched out on the rug with both dogs. Buddy’s head rested on his chest while Leo snored softly at his side.
“You’re a natural,” you said, leaning against the doorframe, your heart full.
Charles grinned up at you, his hand running through Buddy’s now soft fur. “I just want him to feel safe, amour. He deserves that.”
You joined them, curling up next to Charles. Buddy’s tail wagged slightly—a small victory that brought tears to your eyes.
“You’re safe now, Buddy,” you whispered, pressing a kiss to his head. “We promise.”
Charles squeezed your hand. “And we never break our promises.”
---
Months later, Buddy was a completely different dog. His fur shone, his eyes sparkled, and his tail wagged freely. He and Leo were the best of friends, often seen chasing each other around the garden or curling up together on the couch.
And every time you looked at Buddy, now brimming with life and love, you knew you had made the best decision.
“Ready for our walk?” Charles asked one evening, clipping the leashes onto Leo and Buddy.
You smiled, watching as Buddy happily barked, his tail wagging excitedly. “Let’s go.”
As you strolled through the streets, Buddy trotted confidently beside Leo, no longer the scared, broken dog you had found that night. He was home.
And he always would be.
---
A/N
This story holds a special place in my heart because it was inspired by my own dog, Buddy. When I found Buddy, he was scared, broken, and unsure if he could trust anyone. I’ll never forget the first time he wagged his tail or rested his head on my lap—it was such a small gesture, but it meant the world to me.
Buddy taught me that love, patience, and a safe home can heal even the deepest wounds. Writing this was my way of honoring his journey and sharing the hope that every animal, no matter their past, deserves a second chance.
If you feel moved by this story, I encourage you to consider adopting or supporting your local animal shelters. There’s nothing more rewarding than giving an animal a fresh start and a place to call home.
With love,
Buddy & Me 🐾❤

may i request caitvi kid reader play fighting with her mama vi pls?
PLAY FIGHTING
Caitlyn x Vi x kid f!reader
Synopsis: Another day of chaos started with play fighting mama Vi, but when you didn’t win, it turned into a session of comforting a fussy kiddo.
Request: Anon 🤍
A/N: Part three of Motherly Love
The living room was a battleground, and you were determined to win. Pillows had been piled up like barricades, and blankets draped across the couch like strategic cover. You crouched behind one of your pillow fort walls, your small but mighty frame poised for action. Bunny, your ever-loyal companion, sat tucked into the pocket of your overalls, ready to observe the chaos.
Across the room, Vi stood tall, hands on her hips, a cocky grin on her face. She cracked her knuckles dramatically, her pink hair tousled and wild. “Alright, squirt. You think you can take on the champ?”
You puffed out your chest, fists on your hips in perfect imitation of her. “I’m not a squirt! I’m the Dragon Slayer, and I’m gonna win!”
Vi smirked, crouching slightly to meet your height, her eyes twinkling with mischief. “Oh yeah? You got moves, Dragon Slayer? Let’s see ’em.”
“Vi, don’t break the furniture,” Caitlyn’s voice floated in from the kitchen, where she was sipping tea and watching the chaos unfold with thinly veiled amusement.
“Relax, cupcake. This is all under control,” Vi called back before turning her full attention to you. “Alright, kiddo. Give me your best shot.”
With a high-pitched battle cry, you launched yourself at Vi, tiny hands swiping at her in what could only be described as the most dramatic attack in history. Vi laughed, dodging and weaving like a prizefighter, her movements exaggerated to keep the game fun.
“You’re quick, I’ll give you that,” she teased, narrowly avoiding your swipes. “But you’re gonna have to do better than—”
Before she could finish, you managed to land a soft slap on her arm. Gasping, she stumbled back, clutching her chest like she’d been mortally wounded. “Oh no! The Dragon Slayer strikes again!”
You giggled, proud of yourself, while Vi dramatically collapsed onto the couch, her legs flopping over the armrest. “You got me, kid. I’m done for.”
“Victory!” you declared, climbing up onto the couch to strike a triumphant pose. Bunny peeked out of your pocket like he, too, was basking in the glory.
But just as you turned to Caitlyn to announce your win, Vi lunged, scooping you up into her arms. “Gotcha!” she laughed, tossing you lightly onto the pile of pillows.
“No fair, Mama!” you squealed, trying to scramble back up.
“All’s fair in love and play fights,” Vi quipped, pinning you gently with one hand.
“Vi, don’t gloat,” Caitlyn warned, though her tone was more amused than stern.
You squirmed and wiggled, trying to escape, but Vi’s hold was unrelenting. “Say ‘I tap out’,” she teased, grinning as she held you in place.
“Never!” you huffed, your bottom lip beginning to tremble.
At first, you didn’t even realize your frustration was building. Vi’s teasing grin, her effortless strength, and the fact that you couldn’t wiggle free all piled up until you felt the lump in your throat.
Your bottom lip wobbled, your cheeks puffing out in an attempt to hold back the flood. But it was no use. The tears came anyway, welling up in your eyes until they spilled over.
“M-Mama,” you sniffled, your voice breaking.
Vi froze instantly, her grin vanishing as panic set in. “Oh no, no, no, kiddo, don’t cry! I wasn’t— I didn’t mean— Aw, man.” She scooped you up, holding you close as you let out a wail.
Caitlyn appeared in the doorway, her brow furrowing as she crossed the room in long, quick strides. “Vi, what did you do?”
“I didn’t do anything!” Vi protested, looking genuinely distressed. “We were playing, and then—” She gestured helplessly at your tear-streaked face.
Caitlyn sighed, taking you gently from Vi’s arms. “Shh, darling. It’s alright,” she cooed, cradling you against her chest. She rocked you back and forth, her soft voice and warm embrace chasing away the sting of losing. “Mama can be a little too rough sometimes, can’t she?”
You sniffled, burying your face in Caitlyn’s shoulder. “She cheated,” you mumbled, your small voice muffled.
Vi gasped, clutching her chest again, but this time with real offense. “Cheated? Kiddo, I would never!”
Caitlyn shot her a look, though her lips twitched like she was trying not to smile. “Perhaps it’s time for a rematch. With a little assistance.”
You peeked up at her, your tears slowing. “Really?”
“Really,” Caitlyn said, her eyes sparkling with a promise.
With Caitlyn holding you securely in her arms, you felt invincible. Bunny had been moved to a place of honor on the couch, watching the proceedings like the referee of a great battle.
Vi stood across the room, hands on her hips, trying not to laugh. “Alright, alright. Two against one, huh? You think that’s fair?”
“Absolutely,” Caitlyn said primly, shifting you slightly so you had a better view of Vi. “Are you ready, darling?”
“Yeah!” you cheered, your confidence restored.
“Then let’s get her,” Caitlyn said, and with that, she charged.
Well, it was more of a dignified jog, but to you, it felt like a full-blown cavalry charge. You stretched your arms out toward Vi, your tiny hands aiming for her sides.
“Tickle attack!” you cried, Caitlyn guiding you as you latched onto Vi’s waist.
Vi yelped, doubling over in exaggerated defeat. “No fair, cupcake! You’re helping her cheat!”
“Consider it justice,” Caitlyn replied smoothly, her grip on you steady as you continued your assault.
Vi finally collapsed onto the pile of pillows, laughing uncontrollably as your tiny fingers poked and tickled her sides. “Alright, alright! I give up!” she wheezed, holding her hands up in surrender.
“Victory!” you shouted again, this time with Caitlyn’s support.
Caitlyn set you down gently, kneeling beside you as you climbed onto Vi’s chest, your small hands on your hips. “I win, Mama. Me and Mommy are the best team ever!”
Vi looked up at you, her smile soft and full of love despite her supposed defeat. “Yeah, yeah, you got me. Guess I’ll have to train harder if I want to beat the Dragon Slayer and her sidekick.”
Caitlyn raised an eyebrow. “Sidekick?”
“Uh, I mean, team captain,” Vi corrected quickly, winking at you.
You giggled, leaning down to press a kiss to Vi’s cheek. “I still love you, Mama. Even if you’re a bad guy.”
Vi’s arms wrapped around you, pulling you into a bear hug. “Love you too, squirt. Even if you’re a cheater.”
“She is not,” Caitlyn said, smoothing your hair as she stood. “Now, let’s clean up this battlefield before dinner, shall we?”
By the time dinner was ready, the living room was back to normal, and the three of you sat around the table, laughing and talking like always. Bunny had been returned to his rightful place by your side, his ears slightly more crumpled than before but no worse for wear.
As Caitlyn served dessert—your favorite cookies—you couldn’t help but smile, your heart full and warm.
“Best day ever,” you declared, holding Bunny up like he agreed.
Caitlyn leaned over to kiss the top of your head. “Every day with you is the best day ever, darling.”
Vi ruffled your hair, grinning. “Yeah, even when you kick my butt.”
You giggled, leaning into their love. In your little world, there was no better place to be.
A/N: Sorry this was so short, I tried to finish it up during Christmas (hope you guys had a good Christmas btw!)

What a drag...going shopping with his pretty girl
feat. Shikamaru Nara
Poor Guy, for some occasion you need a new dress, even when his lazy ass wouldn't move, but seeing his girlfriend in a stunning dress could be worth it..
warnings: fluff
Wordcount: 1,4k
Hello world, so since I do my little stuff, here a short glimpse of what it would be like to go shopping with our genius Shikamaru 🤌
English is not my first language and I suck in proof reading lol 👁️👄👁️
Oh he already groaned in frustration when he heard you wanted to go shopping because you was invited to the wedding of your sister.
Shikamaru was already aware that he not only needed to attend the wedding but also going shopping with you. He sat there looking at you with tired dark eyes while he had a toothpick between his lips, watching how you paced around the room while talking to your mom.
With his oh so smart thoughts he tried to get ready like morally to go shopping with you. Not that he disliked it per se but alone the fact that it was a store full of clothes, hours would go byfor you to look for the "perfect" dress, and he just wanted to chill under the clouds.
But as your boyfriend he knew his duties, aware he needed to do it with you after all why should he pass the option to "decide" what dress suits you the best. When you then hung up on the phone you looked at him, your gaze loving and excited because of the news.
"Not even a little glimpse of motivation huh." You mused out loud when your eyes locked with his. He took out the toothpick from his lips before he stretched his back.
"We both know I won't even stand a chance against the shopping thing or the whole wedding thing." Shikamaru yawned before you stepped closer to him. He sat on the edge of the bed and you placed yourself between his manspread legs. Laying your hands on top of his shoulders gazing down at him.
"You know when it's really thaaaat bad for you I can-" you wanted to tell him when je really would dislike the idea of going to a wedding ceremony or even shopping, he wouldn't have to, after all you was indeed really understanding. One of the things je loved about you. But the clever shinobi interupted you placing his hands on your waist, pulling you just a little closer and looking up into your pretty face, what showed him how concerned you was. You was could smell the faint scent of cigarettes. He wasn't uncomfortable to go, he was just an lazy ass and he knew that. So Shikamaru would do it, for your sake.
"Nah, even I am aware that this is one of those boyfriend duties I need to attend. And I love you even more than my holy sleep or watching clouds. I will get over it." Shika spoke maybe a little grumbly but that was his decision to accompany you in this. You chuckled then and laid a hand on his cheek marvleing at his skin and you found it endearing how knee he just an lazy ass. A handsome and smart lazy ass to be honest.
"Boyfriend duties hm? But fine I won't complain so get ready, baby. We go shopping this weekend. After all I need a new dress." You Said with that little wicked smile and your sarcastic tone. Why you was just an evil but so pretty temptress? Why does he sacraficed his sleep and lazy afternoons just for you? A mircale he probably would never solve.
And the minute you two stepped into a store he straight wanted to go to the dress section, although you seemed to have other plans, you wanted to browse a little through the store, not just to look at what you need but to see what you might want.
"Babe, you look at this clothes, eyeing saying 'this is cute' just to not even take it to the changing room. So where is the point in that?" Shikamaru asked with that irritaed voice, watching you browse through the section. A small smile tugged at your lips before you turned your head around.
"Not everything has to be logical right? I just want to see what I probably would like but mostly can't afford or don't really need. But I still want to look." You tried to explain that, although it was just typical behaviour for you. He shurgged his shoulders continued to walk behind you.
After you was done and took a few dresses to the changing room, Shikamaru sat down on this armchair in front of it, like the typical boyfriend should do. Just waiting for you to present him the dress you tried on. After all it should be fitting for a wedding.
You took some minutes as you stepped out of the cabin. This dress was indeed really good but you kinda looked not really convinced. His eyes ranked you up and down before they settled on your unsatisfyed face. "Whats wrong, babe?" He asked then, before he would give his opinion. The shinobi was a smart man, not saying something wrong before he would clearly knew what was disturbing you.
"Don't know kinda looks...cheap on me like with those rhinestones...I thought it would be cute but it isn't at all." You sighted and then he cocked his head to the side, his eyebrows pulled together before he rested his chin on his oalm. Yeah he wasn't the one for shopping but he would give you feedback when you really wanted it.
"Well cheap is the wrong word, it's not cheap. It just not bringing out the best. You have better dresses at home." His voice collective as he eyed you. Even when this dress wasn't ideal you still was a sight to behold.
After some more dresses were he always looked up and said something to it. Shikamaru sat there looking down to his fingers that fidget with the hem of his vest. Before you stepped out again. And this time it was the perfect dress. Black and long, flattering your figure and curves. Your waist snatched with a slit in the right thigh. Gorgeous. It was just absolutly gorgeous. When he looked at you he runned a hand through his hair, cleared his throat. Just observing you before he made a move with his finger, what means that you should turn around for him.
Even your backside, he indeed liked it really much in general was breathtaking. The usually so composed and lazy shinobi gluped hard, so his adam apple bobbed in his throat.
"What you say? It's a little bold maybe, usually I don't wear this but-" you wanted to start your explanation but before this could get iut of hand he stopped you. Besides the fact that this was indeed stunning on you this was the opportunity to go out of this shop, you found the dress you would need.
"Take it. You Look good, actually more than good. Flattering even." He replied, still his eyes roamed over you. Such a pretty girlfirend, the young man thought to himself.
After you paid for the dress you and Shikamaru walked out. Indeed it had been a while but it was not so long, as what he thought it would be. A small smile tugged at his lips, a smirk perhaps, a smart smirk. As soon as you two were outside again he lit on a cigarette took a drag before looking at you. "You know probably this wedding we need to attend won't be too bad, then I can oggle you the entire time." Hlhe Snickers at his own words. Before you have him, quiet a playful nudge. "Oggle me huh? I will oggle you too, after all we still need to get something you can wear too, Shika." You spoke and he could swear for a moment he saw a devilish grin. But then the realization kicked in he took the cigarette with two fingers out of his mouth.
"What do you mean with for me?" Poor hoy thinking shopping was over, you still needed fitting shoes and besides that he would need a suit. And Shika probably would look so good in it.
"Like how I said it, clever boy. We need a suit or something like that for you. Oh don't give me that look." You teased, patted his cheek.
"For someone who always knows every move I could make and has like battle strategy plans...you should have known that we are not done yet." You said to him with a small giggle. Then you leaned forward placed a cheeky kiss on his lips before you walked further.
"You will be the death of me." Shikamaru meant before he literally didn't have a choice and continued the shopping spree

Title: “Be Still, My Giant Heart” part 1
______________________________________________________________
Pairing: Konig x Reader
Theme: Comedy, Romance, Fluff
Trope: Arranged Marriage
______________________________________________________________
König wasn’t sure how he’d gotten himself into this situation.
It started with his mother calling him during a rare moment of peace. “Schatz,” she’d said with all the sweetness of a baker dusting sugar on fresh strudel, “it’s time you settled down.”
Fast forward a few weeks, and here he was, standing in his sparse quarters at the base, waiting for his soon-to-be-wife to arrive. A stranger. An arranged marriage. He had a knot in his stomach the size of a grenade.
When the door opened, König had to crouch, his towering figure casting a shadow over the entrance.
And there you were. Tiny, warm-eyed, and smiling up at him like he wasn’t a giant of a man capable of taking down an enemy in three moves. You didn’t flinch. Didn’t so much as blink. Instead, you stepped closer, craning your neck to meet his gaze.
“Hallo!” you chirped, your accent like music to his ears. “You must be König. I’m so happy to finally meet you!”
He blinked. Twice. Words jammed in his throat like a traffic pile-up. “Ja, h-hallo,” he managed, his voice a low rumble.
Your smile only grew brighter, which, he realized with a pang of terror, made his heart stutter.
______________________________________________________________
Living with you, he quickly learned, was like trying to balance on a knife’s edge. Not because you were difficult, but because he was terrified. Terrified of saying the wrong thing, of breaking something (you), of waking up to find you’d realized how mismatched the two of you were and decided to leave.
But you? You settled into his space like you belonged there. Your wavy hair swayed as you walked around the shared quarters, your hums filling the silence like the promise of spring. You left sticky notes on his fridge—“Have a good day!” and “Drink water, you giant mountain!”
And the affection. Oh, the affection. He’d never known anyone to touch him so casually. A pat on his arm as you passed. A playful poke to his side (he almost jumped out of his skin). The way your hand lingered on his forearm when you’d laugh at his dry humor.
“Do you like it?” you asked one evening, holding up a plate of schnitzel you’d made for dinner.
He nodded, taking a bite, his voice coming out quieter than he meant. “Sehr gut.”
“Gott sei Dank,” you teased, winking. “I was worried I’d have to bribe you with dessert.”
The flush started at his neck and climbed like a wildfire.
______________________________________________________________
The breaking point came two weeks in.
You’d decided to surprise him by baking something “just like your Mutter probably makes.” He walked in on you standing on your tiptoes, trying in vain to reach the top cabinet.
“Ach, here,” he said, his voice gentler than he thought possible, easily grabbing the jar you’d been reaching for.
You turned to him, wide-eyed and soft. “Thank you, König.”
And then you did something dangerous.
You stretched up and kissed his cheek.
He froze. His face felt like it had been doused in lava. The kiss was innocent, sweet, but it packed a punch that nearly knocked him over.
“Y-You don’t mind?” he stammered. “Me being here. This arrangement…”
“Mind?” you repeated, tilting your head like he’d asked if the sky was blue. “König, you’re amazing.”
He blinked down at you. “You… think so?”
Your laughter filled the room. “You’re a gentle giant. You’re sweet, thoughtful, and…” You paused, letting your eyes rake over him in a way that made him swallow hard. “...very, very attractive.”
If he wasn’t beet red before, he was now.
“Besides,” you added, reaching for his hand—tiny in his massive one—“I like being near you. You make me feel safe.”
Safe. The word echoed in his mind. He wasn’t sure what he’d done to deserve you, but for the first time in weeks, his anxiety melted into something softer, warmer.
Maybe, just maybe, this arrangement wasn’t a mistake after all.
______________________________________________________________
Later that Night
König, lying stiff as a board in bed, replaying the moment you called him “attractive.”
You, snuggled into your pillow, dreaming sweetly of your gentle giant.
Neither of you realized how quickly the trial before marriage was turning into something real.

Mark Lee-senior uni student x Y/N-junior uni student
Summary:
Y/N, a medical student, is hard at work on her presentation slides in the midst of a busy college schedule. While her boyfriend Mark Lee, a senior in electrical engineering and a basketball player, has a busy day of his own, but he still makes the effort to spend time with Y/N. What starts as a simple walk to her dorm turns into a cozy, intimate afternoon. Mark’s unexpected affection and caring gestures soften the stress Y/N’s been feeling. They enjoy quiet moments together in her dorm, where Mark even offers to cuddle, understanding the importance of balance between love and work. Y/N finds herself realizing just how much she’s missed these moments with him, making plans to prioritize their time together despite her busy schedule as a medical students.
GENRE: Romance | Fluff | College life | Slice of life | Student au.
The small classroom buzzed softly with chatter, the muted sounds of pens scratching against paper filling the air as Y/N and her friend, Hana, worked through the tutorial assigned by their lecturer. Y/N was halfway through labeling diagrams on her notebook, her mind partially tuned into Hana’s rambling about weekend plans.
“Seriously, Y/N,” Hana laughed, “you need to stop burying yourself in these anatomy books. You’re going to end up dreaming about nervous systems.”
Y/N grinned, spinning her pen between her fingers. “Hey, it’s my life. Welcome to medical course.”
“Yeah, yeah. We get it. Future pediatrician extraordinaire,” Hana teased.
Y/N glanced at her watch and noticed there were only five minutes left until the class ended. “Almost time,” she murmured, beginning to gather her pens.
Hana groaned, leaning back in her seat. “I can’t walk back to the dorms with you today. My aunt’s in the hospital, and I promised my mom I’d stop by to visit her.”
Y/N smiled understandingly. “It’s fine, Hana. The dorm’s just a 15-minute walk. I’ll enjoy the fresh air, and I’ve got my AirPods for some good music.”
Hana frowned. “You sure? You could ask Mark to come get you. He wouldn’t mind.”
Y/N shook her head quickly. “Mark has class when ours finishes. I don’t want to bother him over something this small. It’s still daylight, Hana. I’ll be fine.”
Their conversation was cut short by their lecturer clapping his hands. “Class dismissed! Don’t forget to prepare for your presentations next week.”
Hana scrambled to pack her things, muttering under her breath about buses and traffic. Meanwhile, Y/N calmly closed her notebook and slipped it into her bag.
“I have to run,” Hana said, slinging her bag over her shoulder. “Let me know when you get to the dorm, okay? Stay safe!”
“I will. Don’t worry,” Y/N reassured her.
With a quick wave, Hana dashed out of the room, leaving Y/N alone. She zipped up her bag, slung it over her shoulder, and walked toward the door.
But just as she stepped outside, a sudden force nudged her backward, making her stumble back into the classroom. Before she could react, her body was pressed gently against the wall beside the door.
A warm hand steadied her waist, and before she could say a word, soft lips brushed against hers in a quick, feather-light kiss.
Y/N blinked, her brain struggling to catch up. “M-Mark?!”
Standing in front of her was her boyfriend, Mark Lee. With his casual sweatshirt, and glasses resting on his nose, he looked every bit the charming senior she’d fallen for. Mark was in his third year of electrical engineering, a course that perfectly suited his meticulous and problem-solving nature.
He wasn’t just known for his brains, though—Mark was one of the most popular guys on campus. With his easygoing personality, boyish grin, and talent for making everyone feel comfortable, it was no surprise he had a long line of admirers. But despite the attention, he always made it clear that he only had eyes for her.
She’d first met Mark through Hana’s boyfriend, Haechan. It was a casual introduction during a group study session, and at first, she hadn’t thought much of it. But after a few encounters—where Mark’s subtle humor, thoughtfulness, and that shy little laugh of his shone through—she started seeing him in a different light.
The moment they became a couple was still vivid in her mind. It had been after weeks of late-night texts, study dates, and stolen moments of laughter. He had confessed in the most Mark way possible—straightforward and sincere.
“Hey, I just want to say that I like you. Like, really like you. You don't have to say it back if you don't want to. I just need let it out and just to let you know that I like you. But... Actually, it would be really nice if.. You know, if you like me back. Because I think we’d be great together. What do you say?”
And, well, how could she say no?
Back in the present, Mark’s chuckle pulled her from her thoughts. “You okay, baby?” he asked, brushing a stray strand of hair from her face.
She blinked a few times, her cheeks flushing. She slapped his chest lightly, glaring at him. “You almost gave me a heart attack, Mark!” she hissed in a whispered shout.
Mark laughed, his eyes crinkling. “Sorry, sorry. You were too hot to resist. With your messy bun hair, the glasses. Gosh.. Babe you're driving me crazy.”
She chuckled shortly before she realized something, “Wait- why are you here? Aren’t you supposed to be in class?” she asked, her eyebrows furrowing in confusion.
Mark slid his hand down to hers, intertwining their fingers and walk hand in hand, “My class got canceled last minute. So, I figured I’d come to see my princess. But I’m starving, so how about we grab something to eat at the cafeteria?”
Y/N’s heart softened, and she couldn’t stop the small smile tugging at her lips. “Sure baby, let's fill up your stomach.”
His gaze suddenly darted around. “Wait, where’s Hana? You’re not walking back alone, are you?”
“She had to visit her aunt at the hospital,” Y/N explained as he led her down the hallway.
Mark frowned slightly but squeezed her hand reassuringly. “Good thing I came, then. There's no way I’m letting you walk back alone.”
Moments later, Y/N and Mark were seated at a small corner table in the university cafeteria. The air buzzed with conversation, clinking cutlery, and the occasional sound of laughter. Mark had already unwrapped the sandwich for her and he continue to open his.
“You’ve been working way too hard, baby,” Mark said taking a big bite of his sandwich. “Assignments, presentations, all that med school stress… You need to slow down a little.”
Y/N rolled her eyes but smiled. “It’s not like I have a choice. Medical students don’t exactly get a lot of free time, you know. And besides, I’m handling it.”
“Handling it?” Mark gave her a knowing look. “Your dark circles tell a different story. Good thing I’m here to make sure you don’t turn into a zombie.”
She chuckled, shaking her head as she took a bite of her sandwich. “You’re ridiculous, Mark.”
“And you’re adorable,” he shot back with a grin.
As Y/N leaned forward to sip her drink, her glasses slid down the bridge of her nose. Mark instinctively reached out, gently pushing them back up.
“Careful, Doc,” he teased, referring to her dream of becoming a doctor. “Can’t have you losing your vision now. Who’s going to save lives if you can’t see straight?”
Y/N swatted his hand away, laughing. “I can handle my own glasses, thank you very much.”
“Sure you can,” he teased with a smirk.
Mark leaned back in his chair and took another bite of his sandwich before casually mentioning, “By the way, I’ve got basketball practice this afternoon. It’s at 4, but I was kinda hoping you’d come with me. Jeno told me his girl is gonna be there too.”
Y/N glanced at him, her expression apologetic. “Mark, you know I’d love to, but I really can’t. I still have to settle those presentation slides, write the patient case summary, and prep for tomorrow’s anatomy quiz. Everything is due this week, and I’m already behind.”
Mark’s shoulders slumped a little, and he gave her his signature puppy-dog eyes. “But I miss you,” he pouted.
She sighed softly, reaching across the table to squeeze his hand. “I miss you too. But it’s not like I can just skip out on work.”
“I know, I know,” he mumbled, though the disappointment was clear in his tone.
Feeling bad, Y/N smiled and said, “How about this—you can hang out in my dorm until practice. Hana’s visiting her aunt at the hospital, so she won’t be back until dinner. You can nap or chill there while I work on my slides. Deal?”
Mark’s face lit up immediately. “Wait, really? You’re sure I won’t be a distraction?”
Y/N gave him a pointed look. “You will be a distraction, but as long as you keep it quiet and let me focus, I think I can handle it.”
He grinned, already looking much happier. “Deal. I’ll just be your supportive boyfriend quietly lounging on your bed.”
Y/N laughed, shaking her head. “You’re unbelievable.”
“Unbelievably in love with you,” he quipped, winking.
She rolled her eyes but couldn’t hide the smile tugging at her lips. As the two of them chatted, Y/N couldn’t help but notice the occasional glances being thrown their way. Or, more accurately, being thrown Mark’s way.
A group of girls sitting a few tables away seemed especially fixated on him. One of them whispered something to her friend, who giggled, while another blatantly stared, her eyes practically glued to Mark’s profile.
Y/N sighed softly, trying not to let it get to her. This wasn’t exactly new—Mark had always attracted attention. With his boy-next-door charm, easy smile, and that effortless cool vibe he carried, he was bound to catch people’s eyes wherever he went.
Mark seemed oblivious to it all, completely focused on Y/N as he asked, “So, what’s the plan after this? Straight to your dorm to tackle those slides?”
“Yeah,” Y/N replied, trying to ignore the stares. “I’ll have to power through the slides, case summary, and my notes for tomorrow’s quiz. No breaks for me today.”
Mark frowned, his concern evident. “You’ve got too much on your plate, babe. Don’t forget to take care of yourself.”
“I’ll be fine,” she assured him.
“Well, at least you’ll have me there to make sure you don’t overwork yourself,” he said with a grin.
Y/N laughed. “As long as you don’t mess with my focus, you’re welcome to stay.”
"I’m just reminding you, I know my girlfriend,” he teased, reaching over to brush a crumb off her cheek.
The simple, affectionate gesture didn’t go unnoticed by the girls. One of them visibly pouted, and Y/N caught another one giving her a quick once-over.
“You okay?” Mark asked, tilting his head at her sudden silence.
Y/N hesitated before shaking her head with a small smile. “Yeah, I’m fine.”
He narrowed his eyes suspiciously. “What’s wrong? You’re not getting sick, are you?”
“No, nothing like that,” she replied, resting her chin on her palm. “It’s just…” She trailed off, glancing briefly in the direction of the girls.
Mark followed her gaze, quickly catching on. He leaned back in his seat, his lips quirking up in a lopsided grin. “Ah, I see.”
“What?” she asked, raising an eyebrow.
“Don’t tell me you’re jealous,” he teased, his voice dropping to a playful whisper.
Y/N’s face heated up. “I’m not jealous. It’s just… annoying.”
Mark chuckled, reaching across the table to grab her hand. “Hey, let them look all they want. I’m not interested in anyone else but you.”
Her heart skipped a beat at the sincerity in his tone. His thumb brushed against her knuckles, grounding her.
“And besides,” he added with a smirk, “you’re way cuter than they are. You’ve got nothing to worry about.”
Y/N rolled her eyes, but the blush on her cheeks betrayed her. “You’re lucky you’re charming, Mark Lee.”
“I know,” he said, winking at her.
As they continued their meal, the stares and whispers faded into the background. Mark had a way of making her feel like she was the only person in the room, and for now, that was all that mattered.
And with that, they finished their meal, ready to tackle the rest of their day together, no matter how hectic it got.
Once they arrived at Y/N’s dorm, Mark immediately made himself at home. As soon as they stepped inside, he threw his backpack on the floor, grinning mischievously before leaping onto her bed. He pulled out his phone, scrolling through it aimlessly as he laid back with his hands behind his head.
Y/N, on the other hand, was focused. She pulled her bag over to the desk and started taking out her iPad, notebook, and a few textbooks, arranging them neatly on the table. As she walked past him, she paused by her bed and leaned down, giving Mark a deep, lingering kiss on the lips.
“Stay put,” she whispered, brushing his hair from his face. “I’m going to be a while finishing all this work.”
Mark is kinda shock by her bold move but he just smiled up at her, nodding. “Woah.. I'm not gonna lie, that's kinda hot. But don't worry baby. I won’t disturb you, promise.” He winked, his voice soft with affection and give a quick peck on her lips.
Y/N smiled back and settled into her chair, opening her iPad to get to work. Mark, as promised, remained quiet, occasionally glancing up at her while scrolling on his phone. His presence was comforting, but he didn’t push her to spend time with him, allowing her to focus. He hummed softly to himself, clearly content but still stealing occasional glances at her.
Minutes passed, and as Y/N was deeply immersed in her work, she suddenly felt a soft kiss on the side of her neck. Startled, she gasped and looked up, only to find Mark standing behind her chair. She take her left hand to his head, playing with his hair while she's still focus on doing her tasks. He had removed his glasses, his tousled hair making him look even more handsome and effortlessly cool. He placed his hands beside her, trapping her gently between him and the desk.
“I’m kinda sleepy,” he murmured in a deep, sleepy voice, his breath warm on her neck as he continued kissing her jaw and behind her ear. “I was thinking… maybe we can take a quick nap? Just a short one? We could cuddle for a bit.”
Y/N’s heart fluttered at his words, but she knew she had to finish her work. “You go ahead and sleep, Mark,” she replied softly as she remove her hand from his hair, “I’ll be done soon. You can rest first.”
Mark sighed, looking slightly disappointed but understanding. “Okay, baby. I got it.” He placed one last kiss on her neck before walking back to the bed, settling down with a soft exhale.
Y/N stared at him for a moment, guilt creeping in as she saw how comfortable he looked, how relaxed he was, waiting for her. She bit her lip and glanced at the work on her desk, but after a few more minutes of feeling the weight of rejection, she closed her iPad and packed her books away.
Without another thought, Y/N walked over to the bed, climbing in next to him. Mark stirred as he felt the mattress shift, and Y/N jumped next to him. She pushed his messy hair back from his forehead and leaned down to place a soft kiss on his forehead.
Mark stirred again, feeling the gentle touch. He smirked, his arms immediately wrapping around her waist, pulling her close. “Now you feel bad, huh?” he teased, his voice low and playful.
Y/N smiled, nodding sheepishly. “I didn’t want to keep rejecting you.” She laid her head on his chest, wrapping her arms around him as they cuddled together.
Mark sighed contentedly, his hand gently stroking her back. “I’m glad you’re here,” he murmured. “I don’t care if you’ve got work to do, as long as you’re with me, everything feels right.”
They stayed like that for a while, wrapped up in each other’s arms. The outside world faded as the two of them enjoyed the quiet moment, with Mark’s steady breathing lulling Y/N into a peaceful sleep.
Mark’s phone alarm blared loudly, pulling him out of his peaceful nap. He groaned softly as he stretched, his muscles sore from the long day of studying and practicing. He glanced at the time on his phone—3:30 PM. His basketball practice was in just a few minutes. He pushed his messy hair back, running a hand through it before he turned to look at Y/N.
She was still sound asleep, laying comfortably in his arms, her breathing steady and peaceful. He smiled softly, watching her for a moment before carefully brushing the stray strands of hair from her face. He placed a gentle kiss on her forehead, then a soft peck on her cheek, being careful not to wake her up. She deserved this rest, he thought.
“How did I became so lucky? How can this beautiful thing ended up being my girlfriend?” Mark thought to himself with a small smile before slowly slipping out of the bed. He walked quietly to the bathroom to wash his face and freshen up, not wanting to disturb her.
Meanwhile, Y/N stirred slightly from the sound of running water. She opened her half-closed eyes and looked at the clock on her study table. It was already 3:53 PM. No wonder—Mark’s basketball practice was coming up. She sat up slowly, her eyes still a bit sleepy, but she kept glancing at the bathroom door, waiting for him to come out.
Mark walked out of the bathroom a few moments later, a bit startled to see Y/N sitting on the edge of the bed. He quickly apologized. “Oh- Hey baby. Did I woke you up,” he ask, closing the bathroom door.
Y/N smiled softly, shaking her head. “No, you're not,” she whispered. She sat up fully, stretching slightly.
He grabbed and wears his glasses, getting ready to leave. “So, I’m heading to practice now,” he said casually, glancing over at her.
Y/N frowned just a little, her eyes half-closed in confusion. “Why didn’t you wake me earlier?” she asked softly, a hint of playful frustration in her voice.
Mark was taken aback for a moment, but then walks towards her as he cupped her face in his hands, gently caressing her cheeks. “I didn’t want to disturb you. You were sleeping so soundly, and I would feel bad waking you up,” he said sincerely.
Y/N thought for a moment, then smiled softly as she place her hand on top of his that is still cupping her face. “I actually wanted to come with you to practice,” she admitted looking at Mark who is standing in front of her.
Mark blinked in surprise, pausing his actions for a moment. She continued, “I realized we haven’t really spent much time together lately. But I also need to finish my assignments and presentation slides. They’re due soon.”
A smile spread across Mark’s face as his eyes lit up. “You want to come with me?” he asked, his voice filled with excitement.
Y/N smiled and nodded. “Yeah, I’ve been busy with everything, and I miss hanging out with you.”
Without a word, Mark pulled her by her neck into a deep, lingering kiss. The warmth of his lips and the passion behind the kiss made Y/N feel a little dizzy, but she smiled against his lips.
She pulled away for a second, whispering, “I need to get ready though…”
Mark raised an eyebrow playfully. “Get ready for what? You look perfect as you are. You’re already dressed for class, and you look amazing.” He gave her a mischievous grin.
Y/N giggled, a little surprised at his comment. “Is that so?” she teased.
“Absolutely, 201%,” Mark responded with a confident nod, his smile never fading.
Y/N laughed softly, feeling the warmth of his affection. “Well, in that case, maybe I’ll just go with you as I am.”
Mark’s eyes softened, his smile growing even more. “Good decision,” he whispered, pulling her back into his arms for one more kiss before they left for the practice together.
The end.

Title: "Kidnapped" by A Teenager by LavenderAuthor, Incomplete (RIP Constantine's Sanity) (16.5k)
Rating: Teen
Fandom: Batman, Danny Phantom
Relationship: Danny Fenton & Jason Todd, Batfamily Members & Danny Fenton, Batfamily Members & Jason Todd, Batfamily Members & Batfamily Members (DCU), Danny Fenton & Frostbite
Summary: It was supposed to be a simple outing for the various members of the Wayne Family— legality notwithstanding —but then a simple message was sent in the group chat by Jason upon his disappearance's notice: "Going to Doctor's. Might be back by dinner"
Was it sudden? Yes, given he had come to the mall with them, but they tried not to worry. This was Jason, after all. The man probably had "crime lord" business to handle that allowed him an easy out of socializing.
It only became worrying when dinner went by and he was seen walking into a camera's blindside at the mall with a teen but not exiting the mall.

heya there :))) i was wondering if you could write something fluffy for Sephiroth? Like the soft pre-nibelheim version :3 I was thinking like an s/o that has a meet cute with him cause they also work at shinra? idk you dont have to either way have a good dayyy eeee ily
Yes, absolutely!
Meet cute (Sephiroth x Reader fluff)
You were nothing more than an ordinary Shinra intern, rushing through the halls, trying to deliver paperwork to all your superiors moments before it was due, mind racing with worries about what would happen if you were late, even by five minutes.
You had completed most of your errands by this point, all you had left to do was deliver some test results to that douchebag scientist Hojo whom you never liked, and you'd be home free. You were so focused on delivering these papers, you didn't watch where you were going and subsequently bumped right into a very tall man who was exiting the lab.
"Oh, damn it," You swore, immediately backing up. "I'm so, so, sorry sir, I wasn't watching where I was going, my apologies."
"It's not a problem," The man replied, smiling. You looked up, meeting his eyes for the first time, and nearly audibly gasped. Before you was the most beautiful man you'd ever seen in your life, with glittering Mako green eyes and lovely, long, shimmering silver hair. What you wouldn't give to be able to run your hands through that hair--God, was it beautiful.
This man, whoever he was, seemed to be equally as captivated with you as you were with him; his cat-like eyes never leaving yours. You could have gazed into each other's souls till the end of time, had that greaseball Hojo not decided to interrupt with an obnoxious series of giggles and a few short statements.
"Ah, Y/N, I see you've met Sephiroth, my prized SOLDIER. Do give me my papers now, thank you." Absently, you handed the sheets over, not caring whether they fell to the floor or not. Completely ignoring the scientist's presence, you and the man before you began walking down the hall together, seemingly unaware that you were still staring at each other.
"Oh, I, uh, never got your name," You prompted nervously.
"Sephiroth. My name is Sephiroth," Responded the angel. "And you?"
"Y/N. Do you...maybe...wanna...hang out later? After work?"
"I get off at 9."

Reader can't sleep, Thanos comforts them. Written because I couldn't sleep. For the people getting confused: THIS IS ABOUT THANOS, THE MAD TITAN!!! NOT WHOEVER THE MAN FROM SQUID GAME IS!!!!
It's four in the morning. You carefully crawl back into the bed, hoping to not wake your lover. Your efforts run futile as you make the mattress shift, just enough to stir Thanos from his sleep.
"Y/N?" He grumbles, watching you through heavy eyelids. He glances at you in the darkness of the night. "Sorry babe, didn't mean to wake you. It's still night, go back to sleep." You whisper softly, trying to soothe the titan. He is not so easy to fool.
"You are still awake." He states, opening his eyes a little more. He sits up on the bed.
"I just had to use the toilet." You reassure, to no avail. Thanos reaches out, gently placing a hand on your cheek.
"What troubles you, my love?" He asks softly. It's probably his tiredness that's letting him show so much affection at once, his eyes full of love and worry as he studies you, finger gently caressing your face.
"Nothing, baby. Really. I guess I've just... not been able to rest these past nights."
He hums in acknowledgement, you can tell he doesn't believe you. He lets up anyway, lifting the covers and pulling them over himself comfortably.
"Join me then, Y/N. Perhaps company is what you need." He lifts his arm, and who are you to deny such an offer? You crawl over, nuzzling him nice and close. He puts his arm down and around you, holding onto you gently and closing his eyes.
You can feel him trying to fight sleep to match you, and it makes you smile. You press a gentle kiss to his shoulder where you can reach, and listen in amusement as he eventually loses and starts to snore quietly.
You close your eyes as well, relishing in the warmth of his body. Right as always he was; company really is what you needed. Especially when it's his. You let the peaceful wave of sleepiness wash over you, and less than five minutes later, you're out cold.
Thanos doesn't wake you that morning. He figures you deserve the rest.

worth remembering
genre: judebellingham x you
summary: one of your dates where he remembers everything about you..
author's note: unexpected but i posted! Finally, you deserve it!Also England games just finished and i'm happy for our baby boy (player of the match!)🥹

You loved that place. From the moment you stepped in, it felt like home. The warm light reflected off the wood, the glasses, and every corner of the room, wrapping everything in a golden glow. The wooden floor creaked softly underfoot, giving the space a lived-in charm. It was the kind of spot you’d miss if you didn’t know to look for it. But Jude knew. He remembered, and not only that, he brought your favorite flowers too.
He held the door open for you as the faint sounds of saxophone and piano spilled into the crisp evening air. “After you,” he said, his smile soft but sure.
You stepped inside, greeted by the warm hum of conversation and the low murmur of jazz wrapping itself around the room. The place smelled faintly of wood and something rich, like spiced wine, and you couldn’t help but smile. It was perfect.
Jude glanced down at you as you both weaved through the intimate crowd toward your table. “You like it?” he asked, his voice low, just for you.
You nodded, already feeling your cheeks warm under his gaze. “It’s perfect, thank you"
He grinned, his hand brushing yours for just a moment before he pulled out your chair. It was such a small thing, but the simple gesture sent a flutter through your chest. Jude was always like this—thoughtful in ways that made you feel seen, cared for.
"Thank you for what?"he teased, leaning closer across the small table.
You laughed softly, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear. “It’s hard not to. This is exactly my kind of place, and my favorite flowers.”
“I know,” he said, his tone easy, confident. “You told me that on our second date. Remember?”
Your eyes widened slightly in surprise. You did remember mentioning it, vaguely, during a conversation over coffee and pastries. “You remembered that?”
“‘Course I did.” He shrugged, as though it were the most natural thing in the world. “You said you loved jazz because it felt like music you could live inside . Thought it might be nice to bring you somewhere you could feel that. Then, you're worth remembering"
Your chest tightened at his words, the sweetness of them catching you off guard. You glanced away, feeling suddenly shy under the weight of his gaze. “You’re too good to me,” you murmured.
He chuckled, low and warm. “Not possible.”
You talked about everything and nothing—your days, little inside jokes, and even the time you tried to play jazz piano as a kid and failed miserably.
“You? Bad at something? Hard to believe,” Jude teased, his grin teasing.
“Oh, I was awful,” you admitted, laughing. “The teacher begged me to pick a different instrument. Or maybe just stick to listening.”
“Well, good thing you did,” he said, gesturing around the room. “Wouldn’t want you up there. I’m not sure I could sit through it.”
You swatted at his arm playfully, laughing despite yourself. “You’re mean!”
“Only a little,” he countered, his laughter echoing yours.
The waiter approached and asked if you were ready to order, but Jude politely requested a couple of minutes to decide on a drink. Your attention lingered not only on his words, but also on the way he spoke, the gestures of his hands, and the flowers he had brought for the evening.
The waiter then excused himself, promising to return in a couple of minutes. The moment he was gone, Jude shifted in his seat, a soft smile playing on his lips as he looked at you across the small, candle-lit table.
“Do we really need two minutes to figure out what to drink?” you asked, your voice light and teasing, though there was a nervous flutter in your chest at the way he was watching you.
“Absolutely,” Jude replied, his smile deepening. “Choosing a drink is an important decision. It has to set the tone for the night.”
You raised an eyebrow, intrigued. “Oh, is that so?”
“Yeah,” he said, leaning in a little closer, his voice soft and inviting. “It’s about more than just taste. It’s about what feels right in the moment. The kind of drink that matches the mood, the place... and the company.”
You felt your cheeks warm at the way he said the last part, but you tried to play it cool, shifting in your seat and taking a small sip of your wine. “Well, I’d say I’m pretty easy to please. A glass of wine is good enough for me.”
“Wine, huh?” Jude mused, his eyes darkening with something unreadable. “I can see that. You strike me as someone who enjoys something a little... classic. Elegant.”
You felt a little shiver run through you at the compliment, the way his gaze held yours as though he saw something deeper, something more. You smiled softly, trying to ignore the way your heart picked up its pace.
“I like things that feel comfortable,” you said, your voice quieter now, more vulnerable than before. “Things that feel like they’ve been around long enough to be familiar.”
Jude’s smile softened, and he gave a small nod. “I get that,” he murmured, his gaze never leaving yours.
You shyly giggled, feeling your heart race from his gaze, a flutter of warmth spreading through you. His eyes never left yours, and the way he looked at you made everything feel just a little more intimate than it had been before.
"Do I make you laugh?" Jude asked, his voice soft but teasing. "You're cute when you do that."
Your cheeks flushed, and you quickly looked down at your glass, trying to hide your smile. “I—guess I can’t help it,” you mumbled, glancing back up at him. “You’re just... funny.”
He raised an eyebrow, leaning back in his chair with a playful grin. "Am I? Or are you just saying that because you’re trying to hide that smile?”
You couldn’t help but laugh, shaking your head a little. "Maybe both," you admitted, still feeling a little flustered under his gaze.
Jude’s smile softened, and he leaned forward again, his eyes full of warmth. “I like it,” he said, his voice quieter now, like it was just for you.
"Just so you know" he stopped for a moment "You owe me another date"
You tilted your head, a playful glint in your eyes. “Oh? And why is that?”
Jude leaned back slightly, folding his arms with a mischievous smile. “Well, for one, I’ve brought you to your favorite spot, remembered your favorite flowers, and made you laugh all night. I’d say that definitely qualifies for at least another date.”
You raised an eyebrow, the corner of your lips tugging into a soft smile. “How can I say no?”
"You can't" He chuckled, then continued "Won't let you"

Not proofread
Word count: 2.4K
The door to the younglings common area closed with a thud as Obi-Wan entered the room, a soft smile on his lips as he brought the young Jedi back from their afternoon training session.
Obi-Wan wasn’t usually tasked with teaching the younglings but Yoda was a bit busy so he took up the responsibility without complaint. As they returned to the main area he was about ready to send them off to their quarters to turn in for the night. “Okay young ones, it’s time to head off to bed for the evening. I’ll see you all in the morning.” He said with a smile.
As he turned to leave the room he felt a small tug on the bottom of his robes. He tilted his head down to see one of the younger children tugging on the bottom softly in order to get his attention. “Master Kenobi…can you tell us a story?” Mumbled the small voice.
He chuckled a bit, “a story? About what exactly?” He asked, squinting down to get on the child’s level. “One of your awesome adventures!” Another kid chimed, this one on the older side.
Obi-Wan thought for a moment before it finally hit him, “oh I’ve got the perfect story for you all” he decides before moving to sit in a comfortable seat on the far end of the room. All the younglings quickly scurry to gather around him, sat all over the floor smiling and visibly excited for a tale.
“This is the story of one of the bravest Jedi knights I know. They have saved me more times than I’d like to admit!” He explains, leaning forward to further engage and interest the kids. “One of the bravest things they have done was at the very start of the war.” he starts. “We were in a fierce battle on the planet Felicia, a beautiful colorful planet that at this time was crawling with droids! And we were surrounded!” he began to tell the story to the beaming younglings
The battlefield is loud, Obi-Wan and You are surrounded by at least 100 B1 battle droids with seemingly no way out.
Obi-Wan backed up till he felt himself bump into you. His head turns but his body stays in a battle ready stance. “Seems like we are in a bit of a situation here.” Obi-Wan pointed out. You rolled your eyes at him, also in a ready stance. “Oh you don’t say!” Your tone is very clearly sarcastic and you lean against his back for support, your tired and struggling to catch your breathe.
“Sorry dear, just trying to lighten the mood.” he apologizes briefly. “So, you got any plans?” You roll your eyes again at this. “Do I have any plans? I thought you were the genius council member. Your lucky your pretty” you joked, agreeing that maybe a joke to calm you both wasn’t horrible in this situation, it always benefited you to stay calm.
He let out a low chuckle, “alright alright, we could always just charge and see what happens” he suggests. You shrug at this, “I mean we could but we are a bit outnumber” you point out. “Ya know we could-“ you started
You hear a voice that breaks you both from this side conversation and interrupts you, “why are you just standing there! Drop your weapons!” One of the droids yell. This turns Obi-Wans head sharply towards the source of the voice. “Didn’t your mother ever teach you it’s rude to interrupt people!” he said with a shocked tone before quickly charging towards the group of droids and attacking them.
You rub a hand over your face in defeat, “charge it is then.” You say to yourself before taking on the droids that you had been facing.
The two of you were doing a very decent job holding your own in this battle. Obi-Wan had always been very skilled with his lightsaber and general martial arts, his fighting always reminded you of a dance and this was something you admired about him. You on the other hand were also good with your saber but were a bit less elegant and focused more on the force. A talented force wielder you managed to rip plenty of droid heads off their bodies in quite a short amount of time.
Just as the two of you thought you were in the clear and safe from the droid attack, another wave hit. At Least two hundred more droids came at you from all angles and once again the two of you found yourselves surrounded.
“This is your last chance. Surrender or be exterminated.” one of the droids said, in their usual robotic tone. Obi-Wan turned to you, “I’m not sure we have another option.” He confessed. But you wouldn't give up so easily. You frantically looked around the area for anything that could possibly help you in this situation, and that’s when you spotted it. There was a ledge near by, it was high up but if the two of you could just make it up there you would be able to get away with ease.
You grabbed onto Obi-Wans arm. “Aww you know I don’t mind you holding on to me love, but there is no need to be frightened.” He attempted to comfort. “Dont flatter yourself Kenobi. I’m getting us out of this mess.” You said before tightening your grip on him and using the force to jump the both of you high into the air. Obi-Wan let out quite the yell at the surprised and you would feel bad if it wasn’t for the fact he screamed like a girl and it was quite funny.
As you managed to land on the ledge you both tumbled to the ground from the momentum and the fact that your not used to force jumping with another person. “God you know I hate flying.” He grumbled as he got himself off the ground. “Yeah, ya know a simple thanks for saving my life would’ve worked too.” You scolded. He chuckled and planted a kiss on your temple, “Yes yes, thank you for saving me.”
the two of you looked down at the swarm of droids below who were no frantically searching for you. “We should probably get going.” You figured. He nodded and hummed in agreeance.
Thankfully a rescue ship had already been dispatched and took little time finding the two of you stranded out on the planet. It landed nearby and you ran over just excited to get home and into your beds.
“Welcome back Master Kenobi and Commander [Y/N] .” Said Rex as the two of you boarded the ship. “Ah Captain Rex, never thought I’d be so happy to see your face!” You said with a grin as you took a seat in the common area of the ship. “When I heard the two of you were in some trouble I knew I had to come down and see the sight for myself!” He explained. Obi-Wan rolled his eyes, “of course, truly insistent on our failure aren’t you.”
“Only when I’m bored” Rex responded with a chuckle. He leaned back in his seat as another one of the clones came in from the cockpit, “We are going to liftoff now sir. Are we heading back to Coruscant?” He asked Rex, who just nodded. “Alright, enjoy the flight” the soldier nodded before turning on his heel and heading back to the cockpit.
You all sat in silence for a moment before Obi-Wan asked, “How exactly did you hear about us being trouble anyway?” Rex smiled, “Anakin. Him and that girl he always hangs around were headed to come find you but I insisted they let me come instead. Told them they have much better things to do then clean up after their old masters!” He smiled. You nodded, “Ah of course, those two always can be found together. Well I guess I’m grateful for it in this instance since you saved our asses!”
Obi-Wan quirked a brow at this. “He saved our asses? Far from it, it was you who save us!” he said with almost shocked expression. “They saw we were surrounded and launched us into the air and onto that ledge you found us on. Without them we would’ve been toast!” He exclaimed.
“Oh I mean it wasn’t really that impressive I just got us out of the way is all.” You said humbly, propping your legs up on a footrest. Obi-Wan interjected, “and humble too, truly the finest Jedi you’ll ever find!” He praised. Rex laughed out loud and the two of you looked at his confused.
“God no wonder your padawans are so obsessed with each other, look at how the two of you act with one another! Like an old married couple!” He insisted. You both got a bit red in the face because, you basically were an old married couple. Of course you weren’t actually married but you might as well be. Rex didn’t know this, I mean how could he, but the fact he noticed something at all between the two of you definitely had you a bit anxious.
Obi-Wan shook his head, “No we are not, that’s ridiculous. I am simply thankful that they saved my life that’s all.” He insisted. “Anakin and Kaya are simply the way they are because they are both very strange creatures.” He elaborated. Rex laughed again, “well I can’t disagree with you there! Anyway, we should have a bit of time till we land so I suggest the two of you take some time to rest up, I trust you’ll have some meetings to attend to when we arrive home.” Rex advised. You agreed but Obi-Wan just sighed. His hatred for anything business related sometimes would out way his love of being a Jedi.
“And that, young children, is the end!” Obi-Wan announced as he leaned back in his chair. He was expecting to be met with claps or excitement but instead he was met with booing and complaints. “We want more!” “What happened to the Jedi knight?” “Who are they!?” were all yelled almost ontop of each other from the crowd of younglings. He was a bit taken aback by the reaction.
He threw up his hands defensively, “woah woah slow down one at a time kids!” He tried to calm the situation of the rowdy children. “Okay, said Jedi knight is fine! They are still a knight and went on to do a lot more good during the war and they still do good to this day. Nothing else to be said!” He answered definitely.
Another groan could be heard, “what was their name!” Asked one of the older kids. “None of your business.” Answered Obi-Wan. “But I wanna know! Please master Kenobi!” The child begged.
Obi-Wan just shook his head, “you must learn patience and to not dwell on such trivial things.” He insisted- which was really just his own clever way of avoiding the question. For some reason he felt like it would be obvious his feelings for you if he mentioned that it was you he spoke of, and he feared the kids mentioning his stories about you to you when they saw you. But much to his dismay….
“Ehem.” A voice cleared sounded as someone cleared their throat. All the children’s heads turned quickly to the source of the sound which came from the door to the room. Leaned against the doorway was the same Jedi Obi-Wan was oh so familiar with. “You telling stories about me in here Kenobi?” your voice echoed in the large room.
The children looked from you back to Obi-Wan and began giggling almost knowingly. He got flustered, “oh uh well the kids wanted to hear a story from my adventures so I figured…ya know we’ve been on a lot together so it was really inevitable and. How long have you been standing there..?” He asked.
You chuckled at his embarrassment, “pretty much the whole time. I appreciate the tales of my heroism though but you left out all the times you’ve saved me.” You noted. Obi-Wan turned back to the children, “see kids, as humble as ever!” Which caused the kids to laugh some more.
“Anyway it’s time for you all to be off to bed isnt it. Go on now! You’ve got training with master yoda bright and early tomorrow.” He said, crossing his arms and motioning with his head to the younglings private quarters.
They all groaned but shuffled away to their rooms, a few “good nights” could be heard from the exiting crowd. As the door to the private area slid shut, Obi-Wan felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned to face you and wrapped his arms around you, leaning his head on your shoulder. “Gosh those children truly drive me wild sometimes.” He comments and you nod in agreeance. “Yeah well don’t all children.” You added which made him laugh.
“Didn’t realize you liked me saving you so much Kenobi” You teased, leaving a peck on his cheek. He brings his head away from your shoulder to look at you and you can see his cheeks go a bit pink again, “what can I say, after saving so many others it’s nice to be the damsel in distress every now and again.” he defends. “Yeah well if you ever need saving. You know I’ll be there.” You promise, putting your hand in his hair as he rests his head against you once more.
“My knight in shining armor” he mumbled as you two stood there alone for a moment, relishing in the peaceful times like this you got to share oh so rarely. “Well I think it’s time we get off to bed aswell.” You added, noting how physically tired he seemed after the long day you knew he had.
He stood up fully, “yeah your probably right, like always.” he agreed as he took your hand in his. “I’m just glad we convinced them to let us share a room, or all these sleepovers would look very suspicious.” He laughed. “Oh yeah- definitely!” You agreed.
The two of you walked hand in hand, the hallways luckily being pretty empty at this hour, till you made it to your living quarters. You both changed into some comfier clothes and slipped under the covers, more than ready to get a good night’s sleep.

Word Count: 757 A/N: italicized text within quotation marks means that the person speaking is using Romanian instead of English
Y/N's POV:
I haven't seen Jenna for five days, so she was probably just a tourist. It's not uncommon for a tourist to pop by the shop asking for a coffee but not being able to speak Romanian, so I have no idea why I'm so sad that she's not coming back.
I thought the idea of a "hallway crush," (someone you've interacted with once or twice for a short or professional amount of time, but are attracted to nonetheless), only lasted through high school. I guess I was wrong.
Friday morning, the shop is quiet because of how early it is. I shovel some coffee beans into the grinder. Despite the annoyingly loud noise it makes, I find it an oddly satisfying process.
I yawn, getting out of bed at four thirty for a five AM shift is nobody's idea of a good start to a day.
Once the coffee's all ground up, I put some in the drip coffee brewer and the rest next to the espresso machine.
In the back, I can smell my coworkers taking today's baked goods out of the oven.
"Hey, L/N, want a cinnamon bun? It's a little 'burnt', so we can't sell it," my coworker and friend Nessa asks. Every Friday is the same, Nessa and I are two of the only people around the shop this early, so we'll sneak a pastry and say it was burnt if anyone asks.
"Sure, Thanks!" I reply, taking the warm pastry from her. Taking a bite, a smile creeps across my face, "did you guys change the recipe? This is even better than last week's!"
"Yeah, boss asked if we could add a few more spices to the dough," she explains, "I'm a pretty big fan of the new recipe if I do say so myself."
It's not long before the cafe starts to smell like cinnamon and coffee, a perfectly inviting scent in the gloomy fall weather.
Five twenty and it's time to open up the shop. Of course, no one actually arrives until six, usually. Nevertheless the owner says being open early is best for business.
As I wait for the first customers to arrive, I zone out. There's not much to do except for sitting alone with my thoughts.
I'm so lost in thought that I'm thoroughly shocked when I hear the bell on the door ring, indicating that someone has entered the shop. I look up to see who it is. Then it dawns on me. She's a little paler than last time, but it's still her.
"Jenna?" I ask incredulously, I thought for sure she was gone.
"You remember me?" she raises an eyebrow.
"I remember most people who can't speak Romanian," I lie.
"Sure," she giggles.
"What can I get for ya today?" I ask.
"You know, I think I'll take your joke from the other day seriously," she replies with a faint smirk, "I'll have an Americano with oat milk please."
"Alright, an Americano for the American," I laugh, mixing the drink, "so, what brings you to Romania?"
"Could you please repeat that?" she asks, "sorry, I've been having trouble focusing lately."
"Well, you're clearly not a tourist, because most tourists don't stick around for more than three days. So I'm just wondering, what brings you to Romania?" I repeat.
"Oh, uh, I'm filming a TV show," she explains.
"You act?" I ask. I don't know why I'm surprised. She certainly has the looks and charisma for Hollywood.
"Yeah," she smiles, "this is definitely one of the bigger things I've done though."
"Congrats on that! What are you filming? Are you allowed to tell people?"
"It's a show about the Addams family," she tells me.
"Oh I love that franchise!" I exclaim, "Are you playing one of the family members?"
"Yeah, I'm Wednesday, which is both exciting and nerve wracking."
Okay, so I'm literally talking to a celebrity.
"Woah... That- that sounds like an awesome job," I smile, "good for you. So you'll be in the area for a while?"
"What's it to you?" she smirks flirtatiously, "you wanna take me out on a date or something?" I feel a blush start to creep it's way to my cheeks.
"That depends, you gonna be in town for a while?"
"At least six more months."
"In that case, how about I show you around town sometime?"
"I'd like that," she smiles. As much as I would love to keep up this banter, there's too many people in the store now.
I hand her the receipt, my number neatly scribbled down on the blank side, "reach out when you're available," I wink.
She heads out and I watch as she leaves.
On with the day. Only four hours left of this shift.

Title: "Be Still, My Giant Heart"
______________________________________________________________
Pairing: Konig x Reader
Theme: Comedy, Romance, Fluff
Trope: Arranged Marriage
Side-Story: "The Night She Chose Me (Again)"
______________________________________________________________
König drummed his fingers on the steering wheel, his truck idling quietly in front of the quaint suburban house. The muffled sounds of laughter and music seeped through the curtained windows. His wife’s voice had been bubbly and slurred over the phone earlier, insisting she was fine but needed her "big strong husband" to come pick her up.
He chuckled to himself, the corners of his mouth tugging into a soft smile beneath his balaclava. Milo snoozed in the backseat, blissfully unaware of the drama about to unfold.
The front door opened, and out stumbled his radiant wife, her cheeks flushed from champagne and laughter, a little unsteady in her heels. Her long wavy hair bounced with every step, and König’s heart gave its usual skip at the sight of her.
But then he appeared.
A man—probably one of her friend’s acquaintances—sidled up to her, clearly trying to chat her up. He leaned in close, and König’s eyes narrowed as his grip on the steering wheel tightened.
König opened his door, stepping out of the truck with all the imposing presence his massive frame afforded. But before he could take more than a step, his wife spun around to face the stranger, an exaggerated look of distaste plastered on her face.
“Eww,” she declared loudly, wrinkling her nose like she’d smelled something bad.
The man blinked, startled, while König froze mid-step, unsure whether to laugh or intervene.
“I have a husband,” she continued, her voice lilting with tipsy enthusiasm. She pointed dramatically in König’s direction, wobbling slightly as she did. “See that giant over there? That’s my man. Isn’t he perfect?”
The man looked over at König, who stood silently in the driveway, his massive frame illuminated by the truck’s headlights. The man muttered something under his breath and quickly retreated back into the house.
König approached her then, his long strides closing the distance in seconds. “Liebling, are you okay?” he asked softly, steadying her with his hands on her shoulders.
Her face lit up when she saw him, her warm eyes shining with unabashed adoration. “König!” she squealed, throwing her arms around his waist. “I missed you! Did you see that weirdo? He thought he had a chance with me.”
She laughed, the sound carefree and musical, as she pressed her cheek to his chest. “I told him, though. Told him you’re my husband and you’re big and strong and so sexy~.”
König’s ears burned, and he silently thanked the night for hiding his blush. “You’re drunk,” he murmured, his voice tinged with amusement as he guided her toward the truck.
“Maybe,” she giggled, climbing into the passenger seat with his help. “But I’m drunk and married~.”
As he buckled her seatbelt, she cupped his face with both hands, her expression suddenly serious. “You know I love you, right?” she said earnestly, her voice soft and slurring slightly.
“I know,” he replied, his heart swelling as she pressed a sloppy kiss to his covered lips.
“You’re my favorite,” she added, her tone affectionate and absolute, as if he needed convincing.
“I’m glad,” he said, chuckling as he started the truck and began the drive home.
The entire ride, she rambled on about how handsome and wonderful he was, her words a little jumbled but no less heartfelt. König kept stealing glances at her, his heart full to bursting.
Once they were home, König helped her out of the truck, her giggles filling the quiet night as she stumbled into his arms.
“Best. Husband. Ever!” she proclaimed as he carried her inside, Milo trailing behind them.
He tucked her into bed, her tipsy murmurs of love fading as she drifted off to sleep. And as König sat beside her, brushing a stray lock of hair from her face, he realized that even in her drunken haze, she still chose him—boldly, loudly, and with her whole heart.
And that was more than enough.

Extra Scene: "The Night She Chose Me (Again)"
As König lay down beside her, the soft hum of her breathing filling the quiet room, his heart ached in the best way. She looked so peaceful, her flushed cheeks pressed against the pillow, her hair splayed out in wild waves that framed her face. Even drunk and half-asleep, she radiated a kind of beauty and warmth that felt otherworldly to him.
His massive hand hovered above her face for a moment before he gently brushed his knuckles along her cheek, marveling at how soft her skin was. She shifted slightly, nuzzling into his touch, and a tiny smile tugged at her lips even in her sleep.
König let out a quiet sigh, his chest feeling impossibly full. Moments like this—simple, raw, real—reminded him why he endured the weeks away on deployment, the grueling hours of training, and the solitude that came with his work. She was his anchor in a world that often felt chaotic and cold.
Tonight had been a funny rollercoaster for his emotions. The moment he’d seen that man close to her, his heart had twisted painfully. Doubt had whispered cruel lies in his ear: What if she realized how much better she could have it? What if she got tired of waiting for me? What if I’m not enough?
But then she’d laughed, scrunched her nose in that adorable way, and shouted to the world that he was hers. Hers. And it wasn’t just the words—it was the way she said them, with unwavering conviction and pride, as if the idea of loving anyone but him was absurd.
The knot in his chest loosened at the memory, replaced by a deep, steady warmth. He hadn’t expected this kind of love—didn’t think it was something meant for someone like him. He’d spent so long being the quiet, intimidating giant, the man people avoided rather than embraced. Yet here she was, drunk and happy, showering him with praise and affection as if he were the most extraordinary man in the world.
He pulled the blanket up over her shoulders, careful not to disturb her, and settled onto his side. The bed creaked under his weight as he adjusted, but she didn’t stir. Milo had curled up at the foot of the bed, his presence a comforting reminder that their little family was growing.
König allowed himself a rare, soft smile as he stared at her. He still couldn’t fully believe that she was his wife—that someone so kind, so radiant, had chosen him and kept choosing him every single day.
“I love you,” he murmured quietly in German, the words barely a breath.
She stirred slightly, her hand blindly reaching out until it found his. Even in her sleep, she squeezed his fingers, as if to remind him that she was there, that she wasn’t going anywhere.
König closed his eyes, the last vestiges of his insecurities fading into the night. She loved him—loudly, proudly, and endlessly. And he would spend the rest of his life making sure she never regretted it.
