Can I add some things regarding buying merch? (since that’s something a lot of people, including me, buy online, and I have my fair share of experience with it by now). 

- research the seller or company before buying. Are they well known and respected in the community? Or are they known for being scammers / selling bootlegs? What experineces do people have with that seller? You can often find lists of people and companies that you can trust and which you cannot online. 

- merch on Aliexpress is usually fake

- a lot of merch on ebay is fake, but there’s also legit sellers

- you can’t trust amazon either

- inform yourself about how to spot bootlegs of the product you want to buy (plushies, figurines, etc.). There are often tell-tale signs (wrong tags, poor stuffing, wrong paint job, issues with quality, etc.)

-  Ask the seller for more pictures if necessary. If they refuse, it is probably  because they have something to hide, i.e. the product is fake

- if it ships from China or Hongkong, it is almost always a bootleg (but exceptions exist, which is why the first point is so important)

- if the price is to good to be true, it is FAKE (no, that Pokémon plush for 5$ is NOT legit. Most legit Japanese Pokémon plushes cost around 8$ at least, their usual price range is between 15 - 30$, 15 - 50+$ for resellers)

- also look out for ridicoulous prices - some bootleggers will try to sell you their fake product for 80+$, even though the legit product is worth like ... 20$ at most. So, inform yourself about the worth of the product you’re looking for and stay away from ludicrously high prices!

- don’t trust listings that (only) use stock images. These are often stolen from official websites to make the listing look more legit. HOWEVER: some legit sellers will also use stock photos, so again, inform yourself about the seller

- also reverse image search the photos. Besides stock photos, scammers will also steal pics from artists on Etsy or from collectors / resellers that do sell legit merch. 

- do all photos actually show the same product or is it a different product on each photo? Example: I once saw someone selling Mimikyu (a Pokémon) plushes. All of the photos were stolen from different artists on etsy; so each plush looked COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. Don’t trust listings like these. You’ll either get a cheap bootleg or nothing at all. 

- look at the stock count. That umbreon plush is available 99+ times? Very unlikely from a (re)seller on ebay, so it’s probably a bootleg product. (A more sensible amount is ONE or maybe a handful - from my own eperience, resellers often have a stock of 4-5, maybe around 10 at most, depending on the product)

- if the seller is supplying their own pictures, take a good look and try to look for things that could expose the product as fake

- if available, look at pictures from customers and compare them to the pictures the seller posted. Do they match up? What is the quality of the product? 

- don’t be fooled by 5 star reviews. Many people don’t realize that they got a bootleg and are happy with their product, despite obvious flaws (I can’t count the number of times I’ve seen people post 5 star reviews for obviously fake Pokémon plushes on amazon.) 

- merch often comes out in lines (= sets). Inform yourself about which pieces/figurines/plushes/etc. are available in a set; it can help you spot bootlegs (example: the popular Japanese Alpacasso plushes come out in sets that always have a certain theme, like pirates, and there will be(on average) 2-5 different ones you can get (differing in colors and accessories). Bootleggers will often copy the theme but do so inaccurately, creating plushes with colors and/or accessories that are not available in the legit set). 

- some products aren’t directly copies of a legit product, but they are still not licensed (happens a lot with plushies). Often, these designs are stolen from artists and mass-prouced. Inform yourself whether the product you’re looking at is actually a licensed product or not. (Example: the infamous 12″ Pokémon plushes (u know the ones that have the green 12″ sign on every photo). They’re not direct copies of official merch, but they’re also not licensed)

- look out for super long, complicated and contrived product names. Bootleg sellers will often put as many key-words into the product name as possible

- if the photo is showing a snorlax but the product name has Pikachu in it ... it is most ikely a fake product. (I see this a lot with fake Pokémon merch.)

Google does not officially say it but all the marketing gurus do.So, I thought why not use some other platforms like Reddit and Quora to promote my business. I chose to go with Reddit first.I read a few articles on Reddit ads first just to get some context. I then decided to test Reddit ads with a budget of only $100.I created a new account on ads.reddit.com, made a campaign and launched my ads.Key thingsThe goal was to generate leads for my business.The landing page my team made for Reddit ads was the same as what we use for Google ads. But, we changed the headline and a few texts to make it more personalized for Reddit users.The target country was only the US.There were three different ads and one ad group.My experienceTL;DR Reddit is not good for ads. Google is the best and FB is also good.For $100, Reddit sent 552 visitors to my site. Surprisingly, none of them converted. I get around 25-30 visits for every $100 that I spend on Google and I get a 30% conversion rate. So, I get 8-9 leads for every $100 I spend on Google ads. I get 20-25 visits for every $100 that I spend on FB and I get a 10% conversion rate. But, the revenue per customer that I get from FB users is a lot higher than what I get from Google users. Maybe because I can set demographics on FB and I always target the wealthiest people in a given Pincode.The average time spent by Reddit users on my site was very less. It was only 7 secs. Google users stay on my landing pages for 2 mins and 41 secs and FB users stay for 1 min and 50 secs.Reddit's own ad performance measurement tool sucks. Google and FB give you so many details about your ad campaigns. In fact, I can fairly track everything about my leads like he/she is from which city, male or female, etc. without even asking them. I just need to check the time of conversion on Google ads and match the data with GA. But on Reddit, you just get very basic performance indicators like CPC, the amount spent, number of clicks, etc. I don't know whether I am getting more traffic from females or males, which age group do they belong to, the number of hits from a specific city, etc. FB beats everyone in terms of the performance measurement tool, and this may be because FB knows a lot about us because of our FB accounts.Reddit ads take at least a day to get approved. Also, your ads don't get approved on weekends. My Google and FB ads get approved within 15-20 mins (even on weekends).Last but not the least, Redditors hate ads. I read so many times that I should not enable comments on my Reddit ads but I wanted to go bold. I enabled the ads and within 30 mins my ad was filled spammy comments. No, bots were not posting those spams, they were humans. I immediately paused that campaign and I had already spent $10. I duplicated that campaign, disabled the comments and then relaunched it.

At times this might be the case but often it is important to remember the point of agile is to put the customer satisfaction at the forefront. In stating all of this it is essential to think through changes strategically and understand the future state that is being driven towards. Often changing business practices to agile doesn't speed up work at all but often can slow things down if staff and management are not trained and disjointed.

In my experience with agile journeys, it is important before jumping into agile processes to make sure sponsorship from executive and management is strong and they are actively engaged to provide support for initiatives. Often it is essential to gain alignment within the organization or department before intensifying agile processes. Agile journeys can often fail when laggards are in positions of power and have not bought into many of the steps forward as the journey is a culture change and not operational. Therefore alignment can often be gained with highlighting the benefits but also the limitations of agile. It is interesting that agile journeys can be done in iterations but in reality often a more defined project and change management plan can help in accelerating the value of agile methodologies.
