Your worst case scenario is obviously the woo-to-fascist pipeline and you end up believing Jews are poisoning American food supplies with GMOs in order to turn us all into beta cucks, so like . . . maybe just stop blaming "them" before you fall down that route.

Obligatory round of disclaimers: Yes, sometimes people do bad things. Be specific about exactly who is doing what instead of ascribing it to some vague group of shadowy elites. Yes, sometimes things in society are bad. Learn to identify the root causes of complex social issues instead of assuming that they're actually extremely simple to fix and we're just not doing it because of some vague group of shadowy elites. Yes, minimalism isn't for everyone. Learn that some people don't share your tastes and get the fuck over it for the love of god.

Been thinking about season 4 fix-it ideas and while I think Five working for the CIA works for his character here’s something i think would also work: 

Five works at a deli. Think about it, this boy goes back to Griddy’s in season 1 because its a fond family memory. In season 4, all the Five's runs a deli. 

So rather than work for the CIA, Five works at a delicatessen/ restaurant type place. Its menial, its not very exciting, and he’s bored to pieces. But it’s the ONLY thing that gives him any sense of stability because he still looks like a kid and can't do much. And it allows him to pay rent. It tests his very thin patience every day and he’s on the verge of getting fired. 

The guy he works with at the CIA is his co-worker and really, only friend. And even that is tenuous. They both do their jobs with efficiency and only say a few words to each other but its something.

Five gets into the Keepers because Jean and Gene stop there pretty often (or someone who works for them) and he overhears them talking. Maybe he hears Sy Grossman. The actual one, maybe. Or the fake one.

And anyway he takes on an alias and shows up to the meetings because he's bored out of his mind. And even now, here, in a seemingly perfect timeline (run by Reginald, which is always sketchy) there's an apocalypse itch he can't scratch. It becomes his little side project.
