Tailor made suit is recommended by the high notion people for getting the best from your clothes and get appropriate attention and admiration from the crowd. But the big question is where to get the best tailor made suit in Hong Kong and what to look for while find the such tailor? Where to find custom tailor? There are several places in Hong Kong that offer range of well-stitched suit in Hong Kong at great speed at cheaper rate as well. However one has to beware of the fact that all that glitter is not gold. The adage come true when you are new to the place or visiting for the first time there. There is lot to look before you leap for custom made suit, shirt, trouser, tuxedos etc. for any occasion. Especially, if you are not familiar with the tailor, you must find out the credibility of the tailor or search online his work and price before. It will give you an idea about whether such tailors would fulfill your requirement or not. Kowloon is best known place in Hong Kong for custom tailor outfit. There are several shops that offer decent service and has good image in the field of tailor made clothes. Sam Tailor is one of the popular choice in Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon for its quality stitched clothes. If you want to stitch suit in quick time, for that Raja Fashion in Tsim Sha Tsui and Rashmi Tailor, Nathan Road, Tsim Sha Tsui is also can be tried. Kingsley Tailor in Kowloon is also very famous for its quality stitched bespoke suit and other stuff such as made to measure shirt, trousers, tuxedo, jacket etc. You can check these tailors online as well and do some good research about their services and policy before placing order to them. How much time to prepare a suit? There are number of custom tailors in Hong Kong who is ready to prepare your suit in the time span of 24 hours. You will pick the fabric and style and measured in the morning. Then have a fitting later the same day and you can take your finished suit in the following morning. Until and unless you are not in extreme hurry, a good tailor would always prefer to take 2-3 days or more in some instances to produce quality suit that perfectly match your measurement and requirement and it takes two or three visits to shops. What about price? What matter the most is price for any customer. However, price may vary from shop to shop. It also depend on the quality and type of fabric and style you choose for your suit. It may cost you as little as $300 to whopping $1200 at various custom tailors in Kowloon City. Apart for all that and last but not least, you can bargain all the time, no matter how popular or big brand the tailor is.

Sexy Crab, Hong Kong
Sexy Crab is newly opened this year. It is a small noodle bar missioned to bring the renowned cultural comfort food of Shanghainese crab roe noodle daily from Shanghai to Hong Kong.
The portion usually serve in large pot scale in Shanghai due to the complexity in ingredient preparation, this leads to the reason of why small groups of 2-4 had difficulty in ordering. “Sexy Crab” seizes this notch and manage to deliver it in a ramen bowl and serve inside this small standalone noodle bar. The interior design of “Sexy Crab” was curated by Minus Workshop. It is a modern Shanghainese noodle bar where customers are able to experience the strong twist of cultural shock from passing, entering and dining.
It is situated at the charming building of K11Musea Hong Kong but sited behind the escalator of the 4/F, an 540sq.ft. small spot. The design strategy about how to captivate passersby into this unbright crib became our prelude of the project.
The design of “Sexy Crab” considered in creating a strong twist of visual contrary to customers. We arranged the subterranean den concept and prominent Shanghainese crab roe noodle together to establish cultural contrary, such uniqueness creates memorable dining experience for people, draws retention to this small noodle bar with a capacity of 23 people. The statement signage is designed in strong purple neon to create attention from the unbright corridor. Greeted by a featured functional rack of chopsticks and beer glass holder in rustic iron, people get to select their utensils to create interaction with the space. Many understated oriental flavors were infused throughout the design, contours of Chinese ornamentation were transformed into various features of the shop such as the table, the mirror motifs and ceiling modules. Reflective materials were chosen to generate sexiness and intriguing visual reactions with the surrounded neon lights. the dining area is enveloped by the neon floor border, echoed by the open noodle bar for intimate cookery performance. The outlines of the Yangcheng Lake and Tai Lake (famed origin of Shanghainese hairy crab) were hand hammered on the plastered wall for such gnarled wall statement.

The Armoury Introduces Drop93
The online market for second-hand clothes and discounted stock seems to be the new frontier of retailing. Ten years ago, menswear aficionados were mostly limited to sites such as eBay, Yoox, Gilt, and various online forums for their buying and trading. Now, in addition to those, you have The Real Real and Grailed, as well as specialty boutiques such as Marrkt. And, just this year, Patagonia and Leffot opened their own online recycling programs, where you can buy gently used versions of the things you’d find in their main stores.
This week, The Armoury is introducing Drop93, their new online consignment store. “What's neat about The Armoury is we have an interesting network of customers and suppliers,” Armoury co-founder Mark Cho tells us. “For instance, we have customers wanting to clear out their old wardrobes, which are filled with high-end pieces. We just launched with some made-to-measure Attolini, for example. On top of that, since we are on good terms with our craftsmen, we'll be getting their old stuff, too. I'm aiming to get Nackymade's personal frames that he no longer wears. I think there's something cool about owning the designer’s original prototypes, which he made for himself.”
The selection at Drop93 at the moment is small, but it’s tightly curated. There’s workwear from Vetra and Orcival, as well as tailoring from Ring Jacket, Drake’s, and Attolini. You can find Carmina dress shoes for as low as $179; Drake’s ties for just $51. And while The Armoury doesn’t officially hold sales, readers may notice some new-old-stock items from the store at Drop93, such as those Ring Jacket chinos for $225 and house-label chambrays for $138. A good draw for those of us who have long admired The Armoury’s goods, but haven’t been able to afford the prices.
Mark tells me they’re planning to update Drop93 every week with new inventory. For readers in Hong Kong, Drop93 also has a physical location as part of The Armoury’s new warehouse in Kowloon, which you can check out.
As for what Drop93 means? “Drop, as in supply drop,” says Mark. “And 93 is ‘gau sam’ in Cantonese, which also sounds like the Cantonese phrase for ‘old clothes.’”

Dabpa Shatin Restaurant in New Territories HK

Interior Architects: Minus Workshop Limited
Location: Hong Kong, China
Dabpa Shatin Restaurant is an oriental oasis inside the busiest mall in town Dab-pa is named after a beautiful scenic area in Chengdu. this restaurant is missioned to land on the busiest (statistic-wise) shopping arcade in Hong Kong – New Town Plaza, intended to provide their unique recipe of Sichuan cuisine to its customer. Designed by Minus Workshop, their concept story leads this quiet corner of the mall to become a popular topic of the town.
Dabpa Shatin Restaurant, HK
The project required to provide a welcoming restaurant design that is attractive to the passersby inside this busy mall. Designer wanted it all age orientated to make the stereotyped Sichuan cuisine more hospitable. Privacy was their one great concern too, Yiu wanted to create an unconventional space that able to trigger more private conversation, so small groups of customers can liberate there longer.
“A surprise journey to the oriental garden”, in alignment with this master concept, Yiu also invited the local greenery fanatic – Botanic Union to team up and develop deep to make greenery art well blended into the space. With the interior, Yiu wants the visitors to reminisce the small sensation when being inside a Chinese garden. Such as the sensibility when sitting in a pavilion, visuality of lawn layers, bridge transitory, authentic tactile impression of pebbles, sculptural greenery, feelings under the tree shade, etc.
After the dramatic enter, many moss plates can be found on the walls and each one of it are embeds and installed base on Yiu’s design intuition. As well, each set of the banquette seat was specially designed next to a large window frame, formatted with a unique piece of potted landscape as the scene to infuse extra privacy during the dining experience.
Admired by the natural sculptural body of the Chinese pine tree, a portion of the tree became the center statement piece of the restaurant. You may notice that the bespoke mosaic tile floor is illustrated together with the pebble ribbons throughout the space, Yiu wanted to inject a sense of positive energy to customers. This pebble ribbon also acting as the restaurant’s navigator of the passage. Furthermore, a secluded transparent pavilion can also be found at the heart of the space.
It is built under the influence of the Chinese column and beam structures, surrounded by high potted landscape for good privacy. The bubble glass partition is specially tailored in the orientation of gradient format, echoing with the surrounded greenery features, perfectly representing “living & breathing” of this space.
