Why was she even here? How did she get here? Oh right. She forgot. The attempted knock out gas. That huge lost one. Backtracking. Evading another ink demon with bendy. And discovering an shocking truth about her friend. And finding an whole prison, and having quite the chat with someone else that was like her in a way. All to just end up getting caught and knocked out roughly by the same ink demon that Allison warned her about when she was reaching what she assumed was the way out, she didn’t know how long she was awake for after getting off the train, having followed Wilson, blocking out the noises that the lost ones made as the so called keepers tortured them. After a while they had reached what she assumed was Wilson’s refuge, Audrey gulps slightly as she sees that thing again, that freaking second ink demon, trembling a bit as it stared at her while Wilson was talking, the only sounds it made this time were it’s heavy breathing, which almost seemed like it was on loop, like a distorted growl almost. The way it looked, the way it sounded, the aura it was emitting, it was all wrong. It felt so so wrong, like it shouldn’t even be allowed to exist, and yet it is. Now she understood how bendy felt when it had cornered them. Bendy. This thing, while it was a bendy, it wasn’t the one she knew. This thing. Was a husk. An corrupted shell, mixed in with tainted ink and blood, she trembled further as it’s unmoving grin widened slightly, the young animator needed to find a way to distract herself, to calm herself down, glancing over towards Wilson’s direction. “Sooo… uhm…. What’s the story with this guy?” She asked, with Wilson blinking as he stopped talking about his plans, glancing over to her, humming “why my dear… it is my masterpiece…. When I found the ink demon, and tore him in two, I meant it. The ink demon that roams around the studios is the main threat. But this one. This one was seemly on the verge of dying…. So.” He hums lightly, grinning a bit “so… I simply made some upgrades…. It took a bit… and a lot of effort… but eventually. I got there.” He said, grinning “I have finally made a weapon capable of dealing damage to the ink demon. Soon enough, with it by my side, you and I audrey. Can finally bring law and order to this place, and to fix all of our problems, for good.” ….greattttt, she did not like this, gulping a bit as it stares slightly more, before eventually it clicked and moved on away as she breathes out a sigh of relief as it lumbered further, breathing normally as she blinks, staring at Wilson as he motions her to follow him, she looks on back, watching as the ‘friendly’ ink demon was just staring at them, Even when they eventually got out of it’s sight, it simply gurgled slightly, turning around and continuing on walking, doing what it always does, patrolling, and making sure the studios is kept in order, grunting lightly as while making it’s way into the library, it twitches, glancing upwards seeing two Keepers suddenly falling down from above. Making an alarmed hiss, the once friendly ink demon tilts it’s head, grunting and hissing before it sees what had done it, the ink demon itself. The lord of ink jumping from where it was briefly brutalizing the keepers, clicking slightly as it twitches, slamming it’s clawed hands into their backs, ripping out both of their spines, their inky bodies melting and being absorbed into it. The ink demon stares at the smaller demon when it finally noticed the other, the two staring at one another, their unmoving grins twitching Slightly, the lord of ink growled lightly “foolish child…. You cannot remain separated from me forever…. Sooner or later…. You and I will be whole again…. And so much more…. This world… this domain…. Is MINE…. My KINGDOM.” It said, as the once friendly ink demon twitched slightly, both staring blankly at one another. before seconds later, both suddenly roared loudly at one another in pure rage, and without a second to lose, the two demons lunged at one another….

So, new character bio for Wilson, huh?

Now this is interesting in SO many ways (and im sure dreamfisher-nux is also furiously typing up a post rn with even more than i got lmao)

Custodian of the ink? Who put this guy in charge, Nathan? Custodian means he's taking care of it for someone else

In both worlds. Wilson can move freely between the real world and the studio, somehow. And more than just that, I'm strongly suspecting it's not as simple as him having a magic door like the one in Joey's kitchen to walk through, because

We got a poster, instead of his in-game model.

Why does that matter? Because every character bio until now has been said character as they appear in the studio. Wilson however? We've only seen him in the real world, in the trailer. These posters are the only glimpse of his face seen inside the studio.

Something's mega sus about this old man and how he appears in the studio, I'm calling it now.

Now for those three bullet points...

Who the hell are his enemies? Sounds awfully specific to just be referring to some ink monsters that are too mindless to listen to him...

Excited nerding aside, I think I'll go give that trailer and also the Unknown's audiolog (which we all know now is Wilson) another listen, make sure we haven't missed anything 👀

Both of these actually fit my theories scarily well. 😅😬 “Custodian” doesn't always mean “janitor;” in fact, the first definition that Google gives you is:

…Wilson is “custodian of the ink?” I think that fits this definition much better… And, like @dreamfisher-nux pointed out, “he's always watching…”

More evidence he seems to have been meddling in ink dimension affairs for a while…? Does all this mean I'm right that he's not the real villain in BATDR, like I suspect Joey was not the real villain in… well, any of the previous series entries? That he's not even the “new evil” mentioned in Audrey's character bio? Could he be more benevolent than he seems, having taken over from The Great Puppet Master when he finally keeled over? Could he be involved in the revelation of the secrets I suspect? 👀

As for Dapper Bendy… I really don't trust that “he stays out of sight. Spotting Bendy, much less catching him, is quite an endeavor” comment, considering what I suspect Nathan of… There are reasons I described him as seeming to have been “behind the curtain the whole dang time” in my thought summaries… 🚨🚩

While I'm still talking about character bios:

I dunno how much I believe it, but I saw several people on Twitter seemed to be convinced that this guy might be Brant (the reporter-in-training) from TLO. And, I mean, just to hypothetically add to all the poetics… what if they're right, and the combination of “get the truth out” (because reporter) and “guilt overtook Joey at the end of his life” symbolism I already suspected of Brant has something to do with these mysterious powers he might pass on to Audrey…? 🤔

The toon stares up at the strange man and tilts his head to the side. Who was this man? Had he met him before? Why did he just call him the ink demon? Did he know...about that form?

After awhile the man gave a slight chuckle to himself before opening his mouth to speak again.

"I apologize, you must be so very confused. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Wilson, custodian of the ink, the one who knows everyone's purpose."

Everyone's purpose? Did he know the purpose as to why he was here? The demon began to write a couple of words on the wall using ink before he was interrupted again.

"Except for yours...You see ink devil...you serve no purpose in this world. Only terror and destruction."

The man then let out a loud cackle that stopped the demon's thoughts, sending a slight shiver down his inky spine. He...served no purpose? That...couldn't be he was the...star of Joey's wasn't he? The toon that was loved by everyone in the world. How could he...

"Your reign of terror will soon end ink demon. Once my plan is complete I will have created a being so perfect, so divine, so powerful that soon enough I will be the hero of this world! I will have been the one to have slayed the ink demon!"

The toon stood frozen in place. He couldn't believe the words that were leaking out of this man's mouth...The demons face soon formed into a frown and ink began to roll down his face. The being that had been suppressed within him...finally awoken.
