Alex Claremont-Diaz is well aware that he’s an absolute catch. He’s intelligent and quick witted, has an ass that absolutely refuses to quit and was once voted ‘most attractive law student’ in a slightly irresponsible and probably unethical NYU student magazine poll. Which is why he finds it super fucking weird that his new roommate, Henry, thinks his caffeine consumption habits are a bit off-putting. So what if he has some unconventional drink choices? It’s not like Alex can’t vehemently defend all of them. OR 5 times Henry has something to say about Alex’s coffee choices and 1 time he says nothing at all.

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again

Absolutely wild how asoiaf/ fire and blood set up Lysa Tully and Viserra Targaryen to be unsympathetic bratty teenage girls and expects me to hate them instead of the cradle snatchers they are forced to marry like I think Lysa shouldve poisoned Jon Arryn even harder actually and Viserra shouldve strapped Jaehaerys to that horse and sent him careening head-first into a brick wall

17. I don't actually have that many fics, but i will assign my 7 most recent with terrible explanations:

a. the rainbow fish (tarlos) - a yeti because i simply couldn't ignore it (wrote this fic so fast, loved every minute).

b. double, double, acting trouble (firstprince) - a british big cat because the concept is so outlandish it can't be real.

c. ALTA (tarlos) - the mongolian death worm because it invaded my brain and caused me so many issues but i couldn't get rid of it. like a bad animorphs book.

d. cursed is a state of mind (firstprince) - mothman. it's sinister, and it's cursed and no one in their right mind would want to give a giant, evil bird caffeine.

e. (un)professional services (tarlos) - bigfoot, for the same reason as (a) - could not look away, could not stop writing.

f. catch and release (firstprince) - a champy, because its a teeny tiny monster in a lake (and this fic is about rowing).

g. oh baby i'm a fool for you (tarlos) - i mean...i think this one is obvious. the loch ness monster because this fic was about as cursed as the whole concept of resume and imprinting.

21. I'd be chowing down on ALTA, purely because it's the biggest and it would help me survive the longest.

guys life update i have a history exam in like about 24 hours and i haven’t memorised anything i’m 😺😺 doing so well rn

hm. henry cried the first dozen or so times he and scott had sex. the first few times were bad tears and they had to stop. the next few times were bad tears but he insisted they finish because he knows scott is going to be careful with him and it’s just overwhelming. the tenth time it hits him like a bus how cared-for he feels and weeps with relief against scott’s shoulder. the few times after that, he cries softly with a smile on his face as scott kisses his tear tracks away.

had a dream that there was a house for sale ‘close to where i lived’ (in dream, not in actual world geography), and it was extremely cheap for where i live, but the reason it was so cheap was because it was actually cursed, and it was a pretty major fixer-upper outside of the curse

also the kitchen had like six fridges (this was acknowledged as weird by me in the dream, and by the contractor dude who was also on the house tour, but the selling couple just thought it was convenient)
