Looking ahead
This is a quick runthrough of how I would set up the matches and what matches I want to see at Wrestlemania. ________________________________________________________________
Title Matches:
UK Title - Pete Dunne (C) Vs Tyler Bate Doesn't need any build. These two should be able to just have a great match. Winner - Pete Dunne
Raw Womens Title - Paige (C) Vs Asuka Paige beats Alexa Bliss at the royalrumble to become the champion. Asuka wins the first ever Womens Royalrumble match. And between the rumble and Wrestlemania Askua beats Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville with the stipulation that if they lose they are banned from ringside at Wrestlemania. I still think they should keep Asukas unbeaten streak going so the match ends with Paige tapping to the Asuka Lock. Winner - Asuka
Raw Tag Team Titles - The Shield (C) Vs The Bar Vs The Revival Vs The Good Brothers The Good Brothers doesn't really fit in this match as well as the others but I like them and personally I prefer fatal fourways over tripple threats when it concerns tagteam matches. The Shield winns the titles at the Royalrumble event and in the build between the rumble and mania The Revival returns and starts wrecking everyone again. Then somehow the Good Brothers scores an upset victory against the Shield in a none title match and gets added to the mania match. The Revival hitts Shatter Machine on either Gallows or Anderson to pick up the pinfall victory. Winners - The Revival
Cruserweight Title - Enzo Amore (C) Vs Hideo Itami After Hideo debuts you have him run through the entire division except Enzo. Making Enzo the only one left and setting up the match for Mania. Hideo overcomes the interferance from the Zo-Train and hits Enzo with the GTS for the one, two, three. Winner - Hideo Itami
Intercontinental Title - Samoa Joe (C) Vs Finn Bálor Joe winns the title at the rumble. The night after Finn challange him for it but Joe turns him down and just walks out of the ring. Finn beats some dudes in a mini tournament to earn the shot at Wrestlemania. Finn enters as the demon king and has a massive entrance. They have a back and forth match that ends with Finn hitting the Coup de grâce. Winner - Finn Bálor
Universal Title - Brock Lesnar (C) Vs Roman Reigns Brock beats whom ever he's facing at the rumble and then on raw he's standing in the ring when Paul Heyman is cutting a promo on the fact that there is no one to challange Lesnar for the title at Wrestlemania. Out comes Roman and hitts Lesnar with a spear. As Brock is laying on the ground Reigns picks up the title. He looks at the title for a while before putting it on Brock and pointing at the Wrestlemania sign. Then he just leaves the ring. The week after that Heyman cuts a titantron promo saying that Brock is pissed and that he challanges Reigns to a match at Mania. They have a competetive match that ends with Roman slaying the beast and winning the Universal Championship. Winner - Roman Reigns
Smackdown Womens Title - (None) Horsewomen Vs Horsewomen During Charlottes match at the Royalrumble Shayna Baszlers music hitts and she comes walking down the ramp and stands on the ring apron. Whomever Charlotte is facing says fuck this and just leaves the ring. As Charlotte and Shayna is staring at eachother three hooded persons jumps out from the crowd and surrounds the ring. The one in the back takes of her hood and it's Ronda Rousey. The others take of theire hoods because at that point everyone already knows who it is. Just as they are about to enter the ring a remixed version of The Four Horsemens theme hitts and out comes Sasha, Bayley and Becky. The MMA Horsewomen jumps down from the apron and the WWE Horsewomen stand in the ring. Everyone is talking to eachother, throwing horsemen signs and pointing at the Wrestlemania sign. They have a competetive match but in the end the wrestlers win because that makes the most sence to me since it is a wrestling match. Winners - The Four Horsewomen of WWE
Smackdown Tag Team Titles - The Usos (C) Vs The New Day Doesn't need to much special build because every time these teams get in the ring magic just seems to come from out off no where. But the Usos retain so their fued can end and the division can open to more or possibly new teams. Winners - The Usos
U.S Title - Bobby Rood (C) Vs Baron Corbin Vs Dolph Ziggler Vs Shinsuke Nakamura Vs Rusev Vs Sami Zayn Vs Tye Dillinger Vs Neville Rood wins the title at Night of Champions. This is the official workhorse ladder match so it doesn't need any particular build except right before the match Daniel Bryan comes out and announces that one more person has been added to the match and out come a returning Neville. The match is a spot fest and everyone gets to have their high spots. Winner - Neville
WWE World Heavyweight Title - AJ Styles (C) Vs Kevin Owens Owens wins the Royalrumble match and gets to challange for the title at WrestleMania. They have a fantastic match where both guys get to show what they can do in the ring. But in the end AJ retains. Mainly because I've changed most of the titles... Winner - AJ Styles
Other Matches:
Kurt Angle Vs Jason Jordan Set this match up in backstage segments. I don't want to see them touch eachother before Mania. Somewhere in the match Jason grabs a mic and says that Kurt isn't his dad and that he was only using him, ending that stupid storyline. Kurt manages to make a comeback and Jordan tapps out to the Ankle Lock. Because sometimes legends deserv to win. Winner - Kurt Angle
HHH Vs Braun Strowman I want this to be a fairly short match. HHH attacks Braun before the bell rings, the match starts with HHH beating Braun. He hitts the Pedigree, but Braun kicks out at one. Braun gets up and just stares at HHH who can't belive what just happend. Then let the squash begin. Braun just pummles HHH and hits him with three or four runing powerslams and pins him clean in the middle of the ring. Winner - Braun Strowman
Bray Wyatt Vs Broken Matt Hardy Let this be a full gimmick match. Bring out sister Abigail. Bring out Señor Benjamin and Vanguard One. Let the characters make the match. Winner - No finnish
Ander The Giant Memorial Battleroyal: Just throw about 20 mainroster guys, 2 or 3 NXT guys and a handful of legends in the ring and it's all sorted.

"You are not allowed to write a professional wrestling Sanders Sides AU. You’re just not."
Please tell me about it, also may you please spoil the entire magic system for the Necromancer AU. <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
OMG, BLESS YOUR FLAWLESS HEART. *forever anime eyes* I'm working on the last chapter of the AU right now, which is gonna be...enormous, 'cause I wanna finish it and write endless shippy interludes, I HAVE NEEDS. XD
If you and anyone else is interested? I may do a write up guide to the universe after!
As for the wrestling AU...get ready, 'cause I did see you ask about it and I have been writing shit, so....
*deep breath*
For anyone who knows anything about pro wrestling/is remotely smarky, this will be written from the perpsective of kayfabe, or the world of the storylines, as if the athletic aspect of wrestling isn't scripted. That said?
Thomas Sanders is a newcomer to [INSERT BIG TIME WRESTLING PROMOTION HERE]. He’s a gifted talker, a very talented cruserweight...but he’s struggling to find his way as the new guy, and needs a foot in the door. He finds it in two tag teams that are floundering horribly, but could pull together into an amazing group of singles stars with just a little guidance and the right figurehead...
Enter the promotion’s newest manager/hype man, Thomas Sanders, and wrestling's hottest new stable, the Sanders Sides.
Logan Crofter and Patton Heart worked...okay as a tag team. Logan, a talented heavyweight (BUFF LOGAN RIGHTS) and a former greco roman wrestling Olympic hopeful with seemingly zero personality and no skills on the microphone, was complimented by the earnest and enthusiastic Patton, a fan turned pro with pretty acceptable ring skills but a passionate talker with no dearth of things to say.
Logan is now Logic, a master technician with perfect emotional control who makes his stoicism a key element of his character. Patton has become Morality, the literal heart and soul of the stable whose unfiltered love of the business and personability make him less cliche and more reliable--and a perfect foil to Logic’s straight man when he serves as the naive target for the heels (bad guy wrestlers) attempting to trip up the Sides in competition.
Roman Prince, a descendant of the legendary Prince wrestling dynasty, is as gifted and knowledgeable in terms of the business as any could hope from the next generation of one of professional wrestling’s most prolific families--but could never truly sell himself as a heel alongside his twin brother and tag team partner, Remus. An equally gifted performer, Remus was a truly believable heel, but grew frustrated with the limitations imposed on him by his booking (the storylines he was written into).
Now, they are the core team and connective tissue of the stable as the tag team Creativity, the Prince and the Duke. The Prince, a romantic hero, compliments the madman antihero of the Duke, who can barely be controlled, much less kept on the straight and narrow in competition.
And it's good for a while, it's GREAT. Everyone is doing well, getting closer to real title opportunities. Even Remus is really happy, because Thomas understands his character, what he wants to do...
But after a while, it's still not enough. Enter Janus [STILL NEEDS A LAST NAME].
Janus, who trained with Thomas. Janus, who came up the ranks with Thomas. Janus, who suffered a career ending injury around the time Thomas got the call up to the big leagues, leaving him feeling betrayed, embittered.
Janus, who has been working his way up as Thomas finds his place in the sun with the Sides. Developing a character, managing a deeply creative and impressively gifted rookie by the name of Virgil Storm. The young man's struggle with mental illness has become his signature--Anxiety doesn't speak, often attacks by ambush, and heavily paints his face for the ring so he can move through the world with relative anonymity.
Janus barely has to try in order to draw a parallel between Thomas's Sides and the dark avenger of Anxiety--with his trusty manager, Deceit, to speak for him.
It's almost too easy for Janus to start whispering in Remus's ear when he and Anxiety make it to the big time--to convince a dissatisfied wild card to turn on his friends, on his own brother, with the promise of pushing the envelope of sports entertainment storytelling.
It's far too easy to bring the Dark Sides together, to pit them against Thomas and his Sides...but it get a little bit harder when Virgil ends up sharing a car with some of the Sides on the way to a gig, and realizes that all the things he's heard from Janus about what arrogant pricks they are may not be the entire truth....especially when it comes to Remus's twin brother...
...aaaaand so far that's all I got. XD There's gonna be Princexiety here, but the other ships I'm deciding--and there's every chance I'll end up with at least ONE poly ship here, so. :P

Hey so serious question does the weight limit for the cruserweight title only matter to Jordan devlin’s title??? Because nxt uk is doing the whole trent seven has to make weigh in to challenge storyline meanwhile karrion kross is challenging santos Escobar and his billed weight is 265. And I kinda thought the whole cruserweight thing was 205 and under.
#also what’s the deal with two of them#jordan devlin#santos escobar#trent seven#karrion kross#nxt uk#nxt

Medium Rare: Monday Night RAW 7/24/17
Welcome to Medium Rare, your weekly RAW review. I’ll give each segment a rating out of 5 stars and you can then complain about my ratings. Sound good? Ask me for my Snapchat if not because I have some choice words and images for you.
An Angular Announcement: Kurt Angle Announced that Brock Lesnar Will Defend His Title in a Fatal 4 Way at SummerSlam
I’m okay with this. Sources such as the Wrestling Observer reported that WWE is not too happy with having a champion who seems to be unavailable (or too pricey) most Mondays out of the year. Therefore, enter an actually great selection of heirs to the Universal throne. Braun Strowman has been straight fire since his return, Samoa Joe proved himself as a top caliber star, and Roman has a backyard I hear. Should be a great, high-profile SummerSlam tango and dare I say… match of the night? All the contenders then broke out in a brawl, which looked kind of forced but hey I can’t complain about these big dudes going at it. Great segment, great way to kick off RAW.
Drift Away #NoFeudForYou: Elias Samson def. Finn Balor – No DQ Match
Not a bad match! The bout was thoroughly entertaining, although the ending was of course the interesting part. Samson is really good and I think he has a bright future on RAW, just not in this match I guess. Bray Wyatt’s interference here is instrumental in a feud between him and Balor. My only problem here is we have yet to know why Bray Wyatt does anything he does. I know he’s supposed to be serious, but can someone write this guy an actual reason for causing the havoc he does? And don’t give me that “watch the world burn” crap because I like that answer too much. I love Bray and I hope this feud turns into something meaningful.
Cass (Pigeon) Hole: Big Cass def. Enzo Amore
Sorry guys, but you get the 1-star Lavar Ball for that performance. Same thing we saw at Great Balls of Fire with an added beating of the Big Show. It’s clear to me that WWE has no idea where the hell to put Big Cass right now, or Enzo Amore for that matter. Also Cass really likes to stomp on his opponents using the roped for leverage. He did that way too many times and then hit about 7 Empire Elbows. The guy is a Trump supporter, but I didn’t see him as a two trick pony. What to do now? Evil Empire Elbows?
Emma to Emmalina to Emma to Squash Soup: Nia Jax def. Emma
Nia Jax did a cool flip. Emma ate shit. I was impressed with Nia, but completely unimpressed with the booking here. Emma asked Kurt for an opportunity or else she would date his illegitimate son, which honestly would be a fun storyline to bolster the absolute insanity that it Jason Jordan’s career path, but I digress. I’ll give this 2 stars for Emma getting TV time and Nia’s flip. Otherwise I’m peeved.
The CruserWAIT What’s Happening
I’m always happy to see Titus. Titus to me has made the cruserweight division feel a little more important. I also enjoy how Titus is managing Tozawa, I just think Tozawa should be booked as an absolute monster rather than a yelling idiot. Side note- where in the blue hell is Apollo Crews? And now I do not understand though how anyone would ever think that Ariya Davari (who is also a heel?) will be the one to beat Neville. Neville has been on his game and I really thought Austin Aries could be the one to take him down, but since he’s gone I’m now lost. If you want to make a contender for Neville, you’re going to have to have him mow down the whole cruserweight division to make a statement.
Hug Me Not: Bayley def. Sasha Banks
This was absolutely match of the night by distance. We were treated to a PPV caliber match between Bayley and Banks, but the ending did not satisfy me. If Bayley had to win though, I’m glad it was from a roll up. However, overall I think the choice to have her go over Sasha makes no sense. Bayley has been booked like hot garbage since she got to the main roster, and right after her lowest plateau she peaks once again. I’m very bias because I’m a big Sasha supporter, but Sasha had the most momentum here coming off a count out win over Bliss at GBOF. In the meantime, Bayley has been getting buried into the core of the earth. What is WWE’s deal with putting jobbers in the main title picture? (Hey Jinder ;)) Although I think they made the right choice, they could make it up to me with a Sasha heel turn and title run. The only problem is that a heel Sasha pretty much leaves RAW without any strong faces besides Bayley.
Illegitimate Legitimacy: Jason Jordan def. Curt Hawkins
Is this storyline dumb? Is the acting on all account not very convincing? Yes. Am I still excited to see what happens though? Yes.
Curt Hawkins got paid for his weekly squashfest with Jason Jordan punching the time sheet. Although I’m a little sad that Curt Hawkins promptly moved to Job City upon his return, I’m happy that JJ picked up the win and continues to tell a story alongside dear old dad.
The Revival, The Club and the Hardys: Revival def. Club
I dug this segment overall. The Revival’s promo was pretty white washed and generic, but I think some TV time is really good for them. Meanwhile, The Club might be in for a face turn soon with all this #goodbrothering, which is something I’d love to see due to the lack of face tag teams on RAW. Speaking of face teams, the Hardys were aggressive and cleaned house tonight. Pretty good segment! I just don’t know what the direction is for SummerSlam. I have a sinking feeling we’re going to see another championship fatal 4 way at SummerSlam. However if they do a No.1 contenders match I think it should go to The Club or Revival to get a fresh team against the champs. Even if we get heel vs. heel; the Brooklyn crowd will be into it if anything.
Lil’ Hounds, Big Victories: Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose def. Miz and the Miztourage
I didn’t think I would like this, but I totally did. It’s good to see Miz and his boys get a loss now and then for pure crowd satisfaction. I was really torn between Rollins and Ambrose either succeeding or blowing up here and I’m glad it was the former. Now there’s more of a story to tell between the two. I feel like the coming weeks will be instrumental in either setting up a feud for the two (Ambrose heel turn), or setting them up to compete for the tag titles as the division has been lacking in the face department lately. There are multiple routes they could go and that’s what I like. Options.
OVERALL
A decent RAW where the good moments were really good and the bad moments were really bad. I’m excited for a lot of angles heading into SummerSlam, even those of the Kurt variety. Until next time, #MAT

I can't believe they're actually gonna split up Enzo and Cass! :( nooooo They never even got a title 😰 I get that Cass deserves a push (Enzo too) but they work so well together :( If this is happening then I would love for Enzo to go for a run in the Cruserweights. Him vs Neville might draw in some crowds for 205 live. But still 😭

So, I’ve been thinking...
Do we really need cruserweight Tag-belts? I just find it strange we say that WWE has too many belts, but we also want more belts, a better suggestion would simply be allow the cruserweight tandems to fight for, at least, the Raw Tag Team titles, and before anyone says this is impossible, who remembers last year year’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, it has Teams like Ibushi and TJP, so WWE can’t be wholly against allowing the cruserweights to wrestle outside their weight class...at least in the amazing wonderland that is NXT.
#just some thoughts#wwe#cruserweights#they need more teams regardless#i mean we are getting New Day vs Usos and The Bar vs The shield for what feels like the billionth time#sorry

Well then...
Haven’t posted anything for a really long time so here goes. It’s time to complain. I was going to wait until after nxt this week to talk about it but I can’t be assed. So the summerslam weekend. First of NXT Takeover Brooklyn III was fantastic. Not a bad match on the card and if I had to pick a worst match of the night I’d have to go with the main event which I still thuroughly enjoied.
So all is grand.
But then came summerslam.
Hardys & JJ vs. The Miz and his posse
Don’t really mind the match it gave the Hardys something to do I always enjoy seeing Bo on tv and it’s to early for a JJ vs. Miz singles match. Oh right and Curtis Axel was there as well... The problem was that the arena was close to empty so there was no real crowd reactions which took away lots of potential from the match that was an alright match in and by itself. Tozawa vs. Neville
So a little more people but this time the problem is that they haven’t done anything noteworthy with the cruserweights so no one cares. The match it self was really enjoyable with solid ringwork and I like both guys so I didn’t mind it. But why was Tozawa the campion? And why was it on the preshow? If they were going to keep Neville as champ then don’t put the title on Tozawa less than a week before the show it’s just bad booking. And if you want people to care for a title then don’t put it on the preshow, that’s just bad booking. Other than that it was one of the best matches of the night.
New Day vs. Usos
Hands down match of the night. Nothing bad to say about the match other than what the actual fuck was it doing on the preshow?
Cena vs Corbin
Weak match from a wrestling standpoint and poor story going in to it. The Corbin around the post clothesline spot was kinda cool but the killed it by doing the exact same spot again but Cena hitting the clothesline at the end. Don’t care for either of them at the moment but Corbin should have picked up the win since Cena have absolutely nothing to gain from it and Corbin would have gotten the creddability of a Cena win from it.
Natalya vs. Naomi
Decent match. I just don’t care about it. Bad storyline booking going in to it.
Rusev vs. Orton
Waste of time. Poor Rusev, who did you piss of to get treated this badly. And I can’t remeber the last time I thought Orton had a good match and even less the last time I cared about anything he did.
Sheamaro vs. Mini Shield
Solid match three great guys and one decent guy who I just don’t enjoy for some reason. Good story and the right team won IMO.
Big vs. Bigger.
Boring match. Show sold his hand really good but nobody cared about it because Enzo undressed and lubed himself up above the ring. Oh and also because no on cared about the match.
Alexa vs. Sasha
Good match. Would have personally prefered if Bliss won but I don’t mind Sasha either.
Bálor vs Wyatt.
Regular tv qality match it just seemd like the match we saw on raw with loads more facepaint and the other guuy winning. Really like both guys but I didn’t really like the match.
Aj vs. KO
Does anyone remember Cena and Orton? You can kill a fued by having to many matches. Granted Owens and Styles are much better workers that Cena and Orton but I’m starting to lose intrest in the pairing. That said it would have been a good match if it was on regular TV but it felt like it was lacking something since it was on a PPV.
Mahal vs. Shinsuke
Slow match and I’m bored of Jinder as champ. I don’t like how they’ve use Shinsuke since his debut on the main rooster and thus I didn’t really care about the match.
The fatal-4-way
They gave away the results by adding the “If Lesnar loses he leaves” storyline. Other than that it was a good spotfest mainevent.
Conclusion?
Bad booking and filler ruined summerslam.
And once again NXT was the better show.
