To wich highschools i think the ex yugo countries went to
{If they even went to highschool}
Serbia- sportska(sport hs), serbia has the best athletes in the balkans, besides that i think serbia would get kicked out of litteraly any other highschool (exept maybe the military school). And this school is famouse for letting its students miss class tg to training and he would most likely use this tg smoke or/and drink in a park nearby
Macedonia- ugostiteljska(hospitality hs), I dont think this really needs explaining but here (besides regular subjects) you also learn how to cook, bake and catering and I think she would be perfect here since she would show off her cultural food (and get into fights stating that ajvar is her dish)
Bosnia- poljoprivredna(agricultular hs), students here participate in practical work on school farms or thruogh internships in the agriculture industry, would also have burek with the teachers for grades bc he is too lazy to work like everyone else
Slovenia- trgovačka(commercial hs)- here you learn finance, marketing and ofc entrepreneurship, I think that since he is the first yugo in the EU has a lot to do with this, but also bc of its growing entrpreneurial sector (Iwould emagine him as a different type of a entrepreneur but oh well lol)
Croatia- gimnazija(gymnasium), litteraly any kind of gymnasium, stereotiped as the nerdiest highschoolers that will end up working in a gas station bc you cant really get a job anywhere with it without going to collage (wich is verry unlikely), also lives off of instant noodles
Montenegro- zanatska škola(vocational hs), these schools last for 3 yrs instead of 4 wich I think suits him well bc it wouldnt really make a difference if he stayed 3 or 4 years bc he slept threw it eaither way, here you learn a specific job such as plumbing, construction working, carpentry, etc. I think this is perfect for him bc he was pertrayed as a bartender in the manga series "The world twinkle" lol

Josip Heit Linked Hydroelectric Project Triggers Criminal Complaint
Approval of a hydroelectric power plant in Croatia has caused alarm over environmental concerns.
The fallout has gotten so bad criminal charges have now been filed against the government official who approved the construction permit.
The companies at the center of the scandal are Pipra and a contractor going by Starac. Starac is owned by Josip Heit, who BehindMLM is familiar with through ownership of GSB Gold Standard Banking Corporation and related MLM crypto fraud.
Tumblr media
Citing “unverified information”, Forbes Croatia reports;
Forbes Croatia also claims Svalina manages White Rock as its Director.
Pipra is the primary investor in the proposed hydroelectric plant, planned to be built at the source of the Una river in Zadar, Croatia.
Pipra is owned by Svalina and Pierre Vice Milutin.
As reported by Forbes Croatia on August 9th, not far from the proposed hydroelectric plant site is the Una spring.
Una Spring is “hydrological nature monument” that has been protected under Croatian law since 1968. The site is also protected under the European Natura 2000 initiative.
The Croatian public has been outspoken in protest against the hydroelectric project, the construction of which they claim will “devastate” the surrounding environment.
Local NGOs cite construction of the hydroelectric project is a “crime on nature“.
Following ongoing onsite protests, on Thursday August 8th
Croatia’s Ministry of Environmental Protection and Green Transition has also
While that sounds promising with respect to preservation of Una and its spring, Forbes Croatia writes;
People’s Dispatch additionally reported on August 14th;
Whether Starac was involved in the destruction of the cited mill is unclear.
A followup August 18th article from Forbes Croatia explores Josip Heit’s ties to the hydroelectric project.

Sasa Svalina’s role within Karatbars is unclear but he did appear in at least one marketing video:
Suspect gold is a recurring theme in Heit’s business ventures.
Gold was central in the first ruse of Heit’s Karatbars spinoff, GSPartners.
GSPartners collapsed last December following over a dozen fraud warnings and fines from regulators around the world. The latest jurisdiction to take action was the Bahamas earlier this month.
Forbes Croatia notes Sasa Svalina is also the Director of Grupa Toranj.
Gold was also the initial ruse of Auratus Gold, an unofficial GSPartners now primarily targeting Australians.
Auratus Gold dropped its TAS Vault investment scheme following a fraud warning from the Texas State Securities Board earlier this year. Now the scheme illegally solicits investment through “Zai Card” and “gold points”.
In addition to state-level action, BehindMLM has previously reported on ongoing US federal investigations into Heit’s business activities.
If the Croatian government is serious about investigating potential corruption surrounding the Una river hydroelectric project, perhaps those investigations are worth looking into.

Infantino’s bullish language might now better describe something few in soccer have seen before: the state of uncertainty and rising concern that surrounds several elements of the tournament affecting fans, sponsors and broadcasters.
Moving the date of the opening game, and shifting the kickoff time of another match the next day, will disrupt plans made by teams, fans, sponsors and broadcasters and even the tournament’s marketing staff, which has spent millions of dollars buying advertising space around the world to mark the 100-day countdown to the World Cup — a milestone now shifted forward to Friday — in signage wrapping buses and taxis in major capital cities around the world. All of those campaigns, as of Thursday, suddenly proclaimed the wrong date for the opening game.
Three months before the tournament, for example, Qatar has yet to unveil concrete plans about the kind of experience fans can expect during their visits, including what they will need to enter the country; where they will stay when they arrive; how the police will handle violations of Qatari laws about public behavior; and where and how fans will be able to consume alcoholic beverages in Qatar, a conservative Muslim country where the sale of alcohol is tightly controlled and where the public consumption of it is almost nonexistent.
How the tournament — with more than one million visitors expected to visit — will be secured also still has not been articulated. Qatar has signed policing agreements with several nations, notably Turkey, which in January said it would be providing more than 3,000 security personnel, including riot police, for a tournament in which fans of the 32 competing nations — some of them bitter rivals — will rub shoulders for weeks in an area smaller than the state of Connecticut. Unofficially, Qatari officials have said the imported security officers will not be in direct contact with fans. But so far — and unlike for previous World Cups — scant detail on that matter, and several others, has been publicly available.
At the same time, representatives of some participating teams are discovering that finding space for players to socialize outside of their hotels in such a small geographic area has been an issue. “I don’t know if they get out of the hotel, they will be surrounded with thousands of fans,” said Iva Olivari, the team manager for Croatia. “I cannot tell you exactly what we are facing,” she added. “We will have to deal with it when we get there.”
Officials in Qatar’s organizing committee have by now gotten used to such last-minute and sometimes inexplicable revisions to plans that were months in the making. In 2019, for example, staff members who had prepared a detailed marketing and communication plan to announce the opening of what was to be the al-Wakrah stadium were stunned to discover — only minutes before the country’s emir arrived to open the venue — that he had taken to social media to say it would instead be called the al-Janoub stadium.
At other times, Qatar and its ambassadors have been their own worst enemies. Asked on a call with reporters last year about how many migrant workers have died on construction projects, a question that organizers have faced since work first began on World Cup projects almost a decade ago, Nasser al-Khater, the chief executive of the organizing committee, appeared to guess at the number before being corrected by a staff member. In April, World Cup officials had to provide clarifications after a senior security official told a reporter that rainbow flags, a symbol of gay rights, could be seized from fans for their own protection.

Book Review: Mapping The Croatian Coast
Mapping The Croatian Coast; A Road Trip to Architectural Legacies of Cold War and Tourism Boom. Edited by Antonia Dika & Bernadette Krejs, Research Unit of Housing and Design, Institute of Architecture and Design, TU Wien & Jovis, 2020
Tumblr media
“Come and see the Truth” was one of the first slogans to entice tourists to visit the socialist self-government and non-alined Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. In so far predominantly rural area underwent rapid touristic urbanisation of the 6,000 kilometres of coastline along the Adriatic highway, the picturesque coastal road from the 1960s, impressive hotel complexes and secret military posts emerged at the same time in just few years.
Even though the buildings were state owned mostly from trade unions, state administrative unit, south organisation, socialised company, the Yugoslav National Army, social tourism developed where the coastline was defined as common property to which every citizen must have access. Domestic Tourism was a tool for nation-building and reconciliation, enabling the population to discover and learn to respect different cultures in multi-ethic federation. One of the reasons that natural resources and landscape in Croatia have largely been kept intact comparing to Montenegro or Bulgaria. Architects brilliantly understood and support sites of the tourist landscapes, developing new types of tourist resorts for social tourist purposes. For the first time, masses of people were able to visit the coastal towns that were beforehand only accessible by sea with the safety of a car.
Tumblr media
After the Holidays After the Fall, Modernism In-between and Dobrović in Dubrovnik, Mapping the Croatian Coast leads through the fascinating architectural heritage from the time of the tourism boom and of the Cold War in Croatia. The authors from the research department of housing and design of TU Vienna outline routes to these hidden architectures, describe their development, their role in the non-aligned state of Yugoslavia, their decline, and their transformation.
Tumblr media
The Yugoslavia’s cosmopolitanism also called for luxuriously conference hotels at the coastline to show off international celebrities, politicians and the movie stars hired by Yugoslavia’s blooming film industry. Between Communism and the American Way of Life, international guests were invited to enjoy the alternative fruits of Yugoslavia's Third Way in many of solitary high-rise hotels with high standards, glamorous interior design and modern artworks were built near the coastline of the Adriatic Coast.

Due to various aggravating circumstances, the construction of the Hotel Neboder by Josip Pičman, Alfred Albini took more than 10 years.
Tumblr media
The Haludovo Palace, an ensemble of various architectural typologies from modern to postmodern as a new tendency in the region's tourism architecture.
Tumblr media
Pelegrin hotel’s architecture drew considerable acclaim in the 1960s new tendencies, defined by a certain detachment from the tradition of modernism.
Tumblr media
Motel Trogir is an exception to the typology of Adriatic tourism, and it is argued that the idea of such buildings in the Yugoslav socialist society came through American movies.
Instead of peaceful transformation from Yugoslavia’s Third Way economy to pure market capitalism, the Federation was shattered by nationalist aspirations, and years of warfare and ethnic cleansing, starting during the summer of 1991. A few hotels suffered from attacks during the war and almost 80% of them were used to accommodate war refugees. Within eight removable folding maps that examine special phenomena of the coastal area and make the book a practical guide on the journey to the hidden gems of the Croatian Adriatic coast you are almost ready for the journey!
