This Seared Ahi Tuna Salad is a delightful combination of fresh flavors and textures. The tender, sesame-crusted ahi tuna contrasts beautifully with the crisp salad greens, creamy avocado, and tangy dressing.

Ingredients: 2 ahi tuna steaks 6 ounces each. 2 tablespoons sesame seeds. 2 tablespoons soy sauce. 2 tablespoons sesame oil. 1 tablespoon rice vinegar. 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger. 4 cups mixed salad greens. 1 cucumber, thinly sliced. 1 avocado, sliced. 1/4 cup sliced green onions. 1/4 cup chopped cilantro. Salt and pepper to taste. Lime wedges for garnish.

Instructions: Wet the ahi tuna steaks with paper towels and pat them dry. Salt and pepper the tuna steaks, and then sprinkle sesame seeds all over them. Grate ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, and rice vinegar together in a small bowl. Whisk the ingredients together to make the dressing. Place the pan on high heat. When the pan is hot, sear the tuna steaks for one to two minutes on each side until they are just barely done. Take the tuna out of the pan and let it rest for a few minutes. Then, cut it into thin slices. Put mixed salad greens, cucumber slices, avocado slices, green onions, and chopped cilantro in a large bowl. Pour the dressing over the salad and gently toss it to coat it. Place some of the salad on each plate and top it with sliced tuna. Add lime wedges as a garnish and serve right away.

Interesting approach! I never thought of doing that, actually.

But yeah, if you handle the fight carefully and are either lucky with Shadowheart's Guiding Bolts or patient with save-scumming, you actually can kill him and the mind flayer, and get the sword, some armor, some pretty decent treasure, enough XP to get you to level 2 once you're off the nautiloid, and there's an achievement for doing it.

and now for something completely different: a spicy jester i did a few months ago on the bidding of @crispgreen. (how could i deny the option of 'go full medieval manuscript'? i tried to mimic the brushstrokes, placement of shadows, and line colour of the average silly guy in the margins as best as i could with my limited expertise.)

any franchise im into that has like. surprisingly in depth lore. i become like an encyclopedia because i read everything i can get my hands on. Sonic was the original, but other contenders include Transformers, Zelda, Destiny, Metroid,

ROCKS. gemstones and minerals. especially getting into details like the results a certain mineral would have from classification tests like luster, streak, hardness, etc. or like what minerals tend to be inclusions for other minerals, how some things tend to crystallize, etc. there's a reason land of the lustrous caught my attention for its worldbuilding and steven universe didn't.

my,, my ocs... literally any of them. dnd ocs? yes. original story ocs? also yes. transformers ocs? very much so yes. destiny ocs? they're almost all i think abt lately. I COULD GO FOR OVER AN HOUR WITH EACH INDIVIDUAL OC.
