CreativeXR project by Pilot Theatre, this short video explores the story behind the project and its curators. Traitor has been an incredible creative journey for the team at Pilot Theatre, from first seeing the story come to life as a sell out immersive theatre production in early 2017, to having the opportunity to develop the story in VR. Virtual Reality is the perfect medium for Traitor, a thriller that deals with themes of citizenship, ethics and surveillance.

The advances in Immersive Technology have brought a new medium of storytelling. We have been lucky to follow five teams over the last year, as they develop new immersive experiences as part of the CreativeXR program, produced by Digital Catapult and Arts Council England. During this half day event, we produced this overview video, filmed the speakers of the day and also covered the event photography. With an agile crew of just three, we are well versed in this type of "Run & Gun" event filming, ensuring we get the most out of the event, interviewing a selection of key attendees and covering all of the most important topics. Keep you eyes peeled for further case studies on each of the five teams, as we explore what they've been working on over the past 12 months. For more information contact [email protected]
