You people had me thinking joker straight up beat Jason to death with a crowbar
He was unconscious from the beating for most of the ten minute countdown on the bomb and woke up at the two minute and four second mark. He then decided to try and save his mother (who earlier betrayed him to joker to cover up her embezzling money) and they both managed to get to the door before finding out joker locked them both inside. Then they got blown up together
It’s like 200% worse
#also#as far as I can tell joker didn’t even PLAN to do any of this#he just needed money so he tried to sell a nuclear weapon#but Jason and Bruce foiled that plan#so he went to shelia#and blackmailed her with her past of course#to get truckloads of medical supplies to sell off#so while Batman left for like 30 mins to deal with crates full of joker venom#Jason decided he needed to protect him mom#showed her he was Robin#got lured into the wearhouse#when his mom said joker was gone#found out she lied#got hit by the joker#hit the joker back#got beat up a bit by some goons#newly mad joker beats the fuck out of him with a crowbar#reveals he didn’t think of Batman’s reaction#and tries to clean up all the evidence by exploding everything#including Jason and shelia#Jason Todd#redhood#the red hood#a death in the family#Batman#Dc#Dc comics#Jason and Bruce

The problem about Mav having been a take everywhere kind of dog is that I can deeply feel his absence no matter what I'm doing or where I am.
#this isnt meant to be a devastating post#but the fact of the matter is that im seeing mav everywhere#he got so many good adventures in his short life#but it means that most places i visit i have previously visited with him#i went on this gorgeous camping trip this weekend#and all i could think about was how mav was with me (and loved it) the last time i was there#there wasnt really any aspect of my life that wasnt deeply entwined with my dog#every hike i did was planned for dog enrichment#every trip i took was paced so he could get out and stretch his leggies and sniff the wind#i just drove four straight hours because there was no need to stop and it felt??? bad???#every time i roll down the window to look at a bird i listen for his comically loud sniff from his crate#(luckily pike does fill that niche when shes in my car - she loudly sniffs everytime we roll windows down and it brings me joy)#im doing reasonably okay all things considered#(i mean within expectations - im still crying about losing mav most days)#but his absence is palpable no matter what im doing#and that sucks so much

I always love an excuse to shove a fav in people's faces🥺💖#Honestly what I enjoyed about the grandmasters was how they were always playing this tenuous game with Eggman#And how a lot of them joined thinking they'd obtain power‚ only to have to worry about Eggman sacking them if they disappointed#I think Dimitri was probably my second favorite grandmaster just because his character was so much more interesting to me during this period#(from joining Eggman with the legion through to being found in a crate in one of Eggman's bases)#And while I don't have any specific favorites‚ I really enjoyed the complexity with the post sgw eggbosses#A lot of them joined Eggman to save their people or people they care about‚ or to have a better shot at keeping their people safer than they#would fighting against eggman#One of them just really likes him#Some of them joined because of cultural values (in this case#'the leader is the strongest' type of mentality)#And sure some still did it because of power‚ but post sgw makes it harder to ignore (as the story did just before the sgw) exactly what#conditions would drive people to join a conquering dictator‚ even if they hated him#That being said I don't really have a favorite Egg Boss#I guess I'll say maybe Clove or Axel#i just be ramblin#If you have any other questions about my favorite anything or my thoughts on characters or anything like that‚ feel free to shoot me#another ask!!🥰
