Working on photographs of these aluminum cans I did for Mammoth Brewing, with prepress by VN Graphics. Translating my earlier full-color illustrations to limited-color versions that could be printed directly on aluminum was an exciting challenge. Releasing for Lexington Craft Beer Week, their twelfth collaboration with Country Boy Brewing!

This project was created for a hipster craft beer festival.

The concept idea originated from the fermentation process of the beverage in specialized vessels. When preparing various types of craft beer, a specific temperature and time are used, resulting in the formation of foam on the surface of the drink. By combining the imagery of a specialized thermometer for temperature measurement and beer foam, we managed to create an interesting concept and typography. The temperature on the measuring device varies depending on the type of beer.

What You’ll Need:

1 (750 ml) bottle of champagne

1 cup pear juice

½ cup ginger brandy

2 (6.7 ounce) bottles of ginger beer

Candied ginger for garnish

How To Make It:

In a large pitcher, combine champagne, pear juice, ginger brandy, and ginger beer.

To serve, pour chilled cocktail into our Waterfall Flute and garnish with candied ginger.
