Fall Bedroom Ideas You Haven’t Seen Before
Think about being curled up in your fall-themed bedroom with a warm blanket on a cool fall night. The air smells like apples and cinnamon. When I decorated my room for fall for the first time, it felt like walking into a warm hug. Today, I’m going to show you all of my favorite pumpkin-themed do-it-yourself projects. These will help you make your own home feel just as cozy.
Tumblr media
It’s time to bring fall into your bedroom now that the weather is cooler and the leaves are changing color. Use your whole body, from your eyes and hands to your nose and tongue, to make a cozy fall getaway. This full guide will show you how to make your bedroom a cozy fall-themed space.
The Essence of Fall Bedroom Aesthetics
Tumblr media
Fall bedroom style is all about making the room feel warm and inviting, just like the weather outside is changing. To get into the spirit of fall, use things like deep colors, natural textures, and seasonal patterns. It’s important to find a mix between stylish design and cozy comfort so that the space feels both new and old.
Luxurious Fall Bedroom Makeovers
Tumblr media
To make your fall decor look more fancy, use rich fabrics and fancy accents. You could use velvet headboards in deep jewel tones, silk pillows in burnt orange or gold, and soft area rugs in warm fall colors. Adding copper or brass lamps and picture frames will catch the light and make the room feel more luxurious in the fall.

It was quite a journey – had to go through webs, ignore the tempting object they discovered, until they finally saw an exit!
Tumblr media
Jason looked around in awe. “Is this in the maps? I don’t think this is in the maps.”
“I have no idea, Jason,” Sophia panted. When she caught her breath, Jason had mindlessly marched forward, clearly entranced by nature. “Wait for me, darling!”
Tumblr media
They heard the sound of rushing waters, and they discovered there was a waterfall. And by that waterfall stood an elderly lady fishing in it. They looked at each other before approaching the lady.
Tumblr media
“Hello,” Jason cautiously greeted.
The woman looked up. She was a bit frightened but relaxed. “Lost?”
“Not really? I don’t know. We’re on a vacation here in Granite Falls. We saw a passageway back in the forest. My wife and I explored, and then found this place,” Jason said.
“Ah, adventurers?” The lady smiled. “Welcome to my home. Name’s Fatima.”
“Hello, Fatima, I’m Jason Davis,” he smiled, “this is my wife, Sophia.”
“Sophia, sorry, you stink,” Fatima noted.
Sophia frowned, “Sorry, Fatima. It was the stink bugs…”
Tumblr media
Fatima perked up, “I have the right thing for that, follow me!”
They followed her into a small wooden cottage – her home. The home was all wood. Both were impressed when they learned that she built that herself. Not only that, but she also had an impressive garden of herbs.

RIDE COWGIRL !
Tumblr media
pairing; finnick odair x f!reader
summary; a slow kiss with finnick has a twist of fate.
contains; SMUT!! mdni. riding, small innocence kink, size kink, established relationship, takes place pre- third quarter quell.
☾⋆。𖦹 °✩
it was a cozy night in, finnick had been laying in bed with you on top of him, stroking your hair as he read his book.
he’d been so enamored with his book and you whined, so desperate for his attention.
“my baby is so needy.” he lets out a tsk as he places his book on the side table. placing his palms on both sides of your face in an effort to pull you close to him.
you grin, sitting with your legs on either side of him now as you leaned into the warmth’s his hands offered.
your lips connect with his, his hands left your face to run up and down your back as you let out a sound of satisfaction.
the kiss slowly turns into a his tongue assaulting yours in the sweetest way. you can taste him in your mouth- smiling through the kiss.
your hand reached behind his neck to dance with the hairs at the nape of his neck, still so soft, so pure. he deepens the kiss at this, stopping his hands at your hips and grabbing them firmly.
in reaction to his grip your crotch rubs further into his through your sleepwear. he pulls away from the kiss- letting out a huff of air.
you move your hips to slide off of him- but he buckles you down, forcing you to stay put. “stay on top of me.” he demands lowly.
you know exactly what he means behind those words, feeling an ache in your core.
his shirt had already been disregarded as he’d gone into bed- but now his nimble fingers expertly unhooked you bra and rid you of your shirt within seconds.
you grind down on him once more, his head falling back onto the pillow. his neck looks so inviting, so sapid.
you lean down into him, your mouth carries on attack to his neck as his hands find you chest- kneading into your breasts.
once you retreat from his neck he lifts your waist, neglecting your sleeping shorts and underwear. his follow soon after and you find your way back atop him.
finnicks size is well accounted for, you hesitate above his length. he of course, notices. taking his time to tease you, he’d never been in a rush in times like these. always wanting to take all the time in the world to be inside of you with that pleasure, he blames you for making it hard to last too long.
“don’t think it’ll fit sweetheart?” finnick purrs. his rough, big hands find your waist once again , lining you up and sinking you onto his tip. “don’t worry, i’ve got you doll.”
you all but scream out at the intrusion. “you can take it baby.” you sink into him completely, hiding your face in his neck- engulfed by his scent as you attempt to set a steady pace.
“fuck finnick.” your voice rings through his ears- fucking him dumb as he moves your body for you- he just about rolls his eyes back into his head at the sensation this new position brings.
he thinks he’ll cum now just by the way your tiny body can barely take all of him.
your sit upright, back arched and hands finding stability on his chest- taking back the control of your body as you let your hips subsequently rise and fall whilst rubbing against him.
“atta girl.” he cooes, hands finding your ass.
you feel that all too familiar coil build in your stomach, “i’m close.” you choke out.
“not until i say so.”
the pleasure is too much for you- he knows this- but pushes you further, placing two fingers in between where the both of you connect- rubbing and pressing on your swollen clit.
you whimper obscenities, unnerved at his insistence. i can’t’s and it’s too much.
“so pretty like this, so tight.” finnick chokes out, grabbing your hips and bouncing you against his length. expletives follow as he recognizes he’s nearing his climax.
just when you think you can’t hold it back anymore he lets out a low, “you can let go now sweet girl, cum for me baby.”
at his words, his beck and call, you moan out- the feeling causing your legs to shake. he pants your name like a prayer- like your body is his to worship, cheeks red like a sinner.
he continues to bruise you love handles with his grip- allowing you both to ride out your high. once you’ve come down your body falls slack against him- too dumbfounded to do anything else.
once more he strokes your hair, once more he tells you, “i’ve got you doll, i’ve got you.”

It was a beautiful day
The sun had been shining all day and warmed the air to a cozy temperature.
„More wine, my dear?“ Aziraphale asked lazily and turned his head to the slender figure next to him. Crowley had been basking in the sun for the past thirty-ish minutes - keeping his eyes closed and enjoying the warm light, leaned back on his elbows. Aziraphale had been reading meanwhile, laying on the blanket they had spread out on the grass.
It was calmingly silent on top of the hill, the breeze soft and the ocean in eyesight. Not a single soul out here but an angel and a demon, who had been enjoying a rather lovely picnic earlier that afternoon.
Crowley slowly opened his eyes and peeked through half-closed lids to the angel next to him. Aziraphale had put his book aside and held out the bottle of red wine they had brought with them.
“Nah.“ He declined and gazed at his angel instead. He couldn’t fight a fond smile creeping up his demonic lips as he watched Aziraphale put the bottle back into the basket. It was such a rare sight, seeing him without his bow tie, sleeves of his shirt rolled up to the elbows and his collar unbuttoned. Almost scandalous, for Aziraphale‘s standards.
“You look gorgeous today, angel,” Crowley smiled and watched Aziraphale blush.
“Oh, you old charmer!” he replied with pink cheeks, avoiding Crowley’s gaze. He fiddled with his ring, peeking at the demon every few seconds.
“And you, my sweethaert, look stunning - as always.”
Now it was Crowley who blushed and frowned by the pet name Aziraphale had started to use lately. He shouldn’t feel so flustered by that, he was a evil demon after all! But pride was a sin, so he let it slip. A little ‘Mrm’ sound left his throat.
Aziraphale laughed and leaned over to him, pressing a tiny kiss on the demon’s cheekbone. Crowley grumbled quietly, but still leaned into the soft touch. He was growing rather soft to the angel’s affections lately, and it got harder and harder to keep up the cool masquerade of mystery. When Aziraphale retreated, the demon huffed oh so little and reached out, trapping the angel’s chin between the fingers of his right hand. A little gasp fled Aziraphale’s throat as the demon pulled him back. Golden eyes met grey-blue ones, and the angel blushed again like anything. But he smiled as endearing as only Aziraphale could. A little mischief twinkled in his clear eyes before he closed them and leaned forwards the last bit, tenderly pressing his lips on Crowley’s.
The demon couldn’t resist the little smile as he watched his angel’s face closely, savouring his tender expression. His fingers stroked Aziraphale’s soft jawline, before cupping his face with his palm and closing his eyes, letting himself fall into a soft kiss.
This was the life he never dared to dream about. And still, here they were.
And that was everything he ever wished for.

Caught Red-Handed
Tumblr media
Featuring: (Husk, Alastor, & Velvette) I might make a part two with more characters, so tell me which ones you want in the comments. <3
☆ Husk ☆ You and Husk were dating long before Charlie hired you at her redemption hotel. Husk was the one in charge of the bar and you were the one in charge of the entertainment. Although Husk is grumpy, rude, sarcastic and serious, secretly with you he was a little sweeter even though he didn't like to accept it.
Today your shifts were over early and you were both resting in your room, lying on the bed, the husk's face hidden in your shoulder as he purred, his hands loosely on your waist and his tail tangled around your leg, his large, reddish wings relaxed against his back. "Hmm..." he purred as he tightened his grip, although he didn't want to admit it in words, his touch said it all. His purring grows louder as he nuzzles deeper into your shoulder, his tail giving a gentle squeeze around your leg. “You're so warm... and cozy...” He mumbles sleepily, his voice barely audible. “Love you...” He whispers, his words a soft breeze against your skin.
Just then, Angel walks in without a care in the world, being a nuisance as usual. Husk's ears perk up at the sound of the door opening, and he lifts his head to glare at Angel. "What do you want?" He growls, his tail tightening possessively around your leg. "Can't you see we're busy?" Angel muttered a quick ‘sorry…!’ before quickly walking out of the room and closing the door.
Husk let out a satisfied grunt at Angel’s hasty retreat, then nuzzled back into your shoulder. “Sorry...I didn't mean to scare him off.” He mumbled, his tail relaxing around your leg. "Good thing, otherwise he'd see us like this..." You roll your eyes. “It's not like we were doing anything.” Husk huffed, his tail flicking slightly. "Maybe not... but I don't want anyone seeing you all...cuddly...and...soft." He trailed off, his ears twitching with a hint of embarrassment. "It's... private." You sigh. “I suppose you're right.” Husk let out a happy sigh, his purring growing louder as he relaxed in your arms. His wings twitched slightly against his back, before settling once more. He nuzzled deeper into your face, his hands still loosely on your waist.
Tumblr media
☆ Alastor ☆
Alastor emerges from the shadows, a hand grasping his chest. he swiftly takes off his coat and throws it on a nearby arm chair. he falls onto the chair soon behind it letting out a groan. he had a large gash across his chest. he had been hiding his injury from the others as to not worry them, or to appear vulnerable in any way, but today it had been particularly hard to maintain his composure. Being just in the room next to him you heard this and being concerned you opened the door to his room. “Alastor!?” You ask, seeing his stab wound.
Alastor's head snaps to the door as you enter. His face contorts into a harsh expression, a clear sign for you to leave. "Out," he growls, voice low and dangerous. But then he hesitates, seeing the concern on your face. You step closer. “Please let me help you.” You say, in almost a whisper. His face softens a little at your words. He looks away from you and back to the floor. He sighs “I’m fine, just a scratch.” He sits up straight, wincing. He looks at you again, “You know I don’t like showing weakness.” He grumbles. “You can with me. I won’t judge.” You say, reassuringly.
You quickly grab the first aid kit and bring out the necessary supplies. You quickly bandage Alastor up, making sure he doesn't bleed to death. He winces as you gently clean and dress the wound. He watches your hands work, his expression softening further. “Thank you” He looks back up at you as you finish. His face contorts slightly as he reaches out for you pulling you into his lap.
He wraps his arms around you, holding you close. His touch is gentle, almost reverent. He buries his face in your neck, his hot breath fanning out against your skin. "You're the only one who cares enough to help me," He murmurs, his voice barely above a whisper. “I’m sure that's not true.” You say quietly. He pulls back slightly, his gaze searching yours. "It is," he insists, his thumb tracing the line of your jaw. "Everyone else fears me. But you...you see through all that, don't you?" His expression turns vulnerable, a rare sight for him. “I do.” You say.
He searches your face for a moment longer, as if trying to discern whether you're telling the truth. Finding only sincerity in your gaze, he relaxes, pulling you close again. His hand drifts down to your thigh, squeezing gently. "Stay with me tonight? Please?" Just then, Charlie comes running in, gasping for air. Once she catches her breath she speaks. “Are you two okay!?” She asks worriedly.
He tenses, his arms tightening around you protectively. His expression darkens, and for a moment, you fear he might snap at Charlie. But then he takes a deep breath, his shoulders relaxing. "We're fine, Charlie, my dear." He says gruffly, his voice barely concealing his frustration. “Alright. I’m going to check on the others then.” She turns around, leaves the radio booth, and closes the door. Alastor watches Charlie leave, a thoughtful expression on his face. Then he turns back to you, his hand still resting on your thigh. "Where were we?" he murmurs, his thumb tracing circles on your skin.

☆ Velvette ☆
You had just gotten back from a trip to Paris, through an Asmodean crystal you had gotten as a gift from Velvette, you barge into her office excitedly. “Guess who just got back from Paris!” You squeal in excitement. Velvette raises an eyebrow, her lipstick-perfect lips curling into a smirk. “And let me guess, you brought back a ton of overpriced scarves and those disgustingly priced macaroons everyone raves about?” she asks, her tone laced with sarcasm.
“Nope.” You say as you smirk, your hands behind your back. Velvette's face falls slightly, surprised. "Nope?” she repeats, her hand finding her hip. "So, you're telling me you went to Paris and didn't bring back any pastries?" She tilts her head, her eyes narrowing suspiciously. "What did you bring back then?" She asks suspiciously.
“I know as the fashion and social media overlord you barely have any time to design fashion anymore...but I brought you the next best thing!” You say as you take a pile of french fashion magazines that you were holding behind you and place them on her desk. “Ta-da~!” Velvette's eyes widen as she takes in the stack of magazines. "You brought me... fashion magazines?" she asks, her voice dripping with disbelief. She picks up one of the magazines, flipping through it dismissively. "I can get these myself, you know." You smirk. “Not from Paris you can’t.”
Velvette's hands still on the magazines, her long, perfectly manicured nails tapping against the glossy covers. "And what makes these Parisian fashion magazines so special, hmm?" she asks, her gaze flicking up to meet yours. "Are they infused with some sort of magical French charm?" You nod. “Exactly!” Velvette rolls her eyes, but can't help the small smile that tugs at the corner of her mouth. "You're ridiculous," she says, her tone softening slightly. "But... thank you." She picks up one of the magazines and tucks it under her arm.
“Aww girlie of course!” Velvette shoots you a pointed look. "Don't make a big deal out of it," she says sharply. "I'm only accepting this because it's from you." She begins to walk back to her sketchbook, then pauses. "And... maybe because it is from Paris." She whispers. “You know you love me.” You say, a smile still on your face. Velvette's expression softens, and she can't help but smile. "Yeah, yeah," she says, her voice laced with affection. She sits down at her desk, opening the magazine and beginning to flip through it, her mind already filled with new design ideas.
Velvette leans back in her chair, pulls your face close, and kisses you. Before you could deepen the kiss, Valentino walks in. Velvette pulls away from the kiss, her eyes widening slightly as she sees Valentino standing in the doorway. "Valentino," she says, her voice cool and collected. "What are you doing here? Get out!"  She stands up, smoothing out her dress as she does so. Valentino's eyes dart between you and Velvette, a smug smile playing at the corners of his mouth. "I could ask you the same thing," he says, his voice laced with innuendo. "Or should I say, 'what were you doing'?"
Velvette pushes him out of her office and slams the door in his face. “That was a close one. That prick almost caught us.” She says, clearly irritated. “Yeah…but he didn't.” You smirk as she pulls you into another kiss.

The Ranger (Part 1)
Tumblr media
Summary: The reader is trying to enjoy her vacation in the rainy forest in her cozy cabin when an unexpected heat comes on. But things turn dangerous fast and she needs the help of a local forest ranger to get out of it. But she wasn't expecting his help to include claiming her and being her true mate. Because something isn't right and her Alpha is keeping something from her...
Masterlist
Pairing: Alpha!Dean x Omega!reader
Word Count: 5,300ish
Warnings: language, life threatening medical situation, angst
A/N: Please enjoy this first part!
_______
This was not an ideal situation. You’d finally done it and taken that solo vacation in the mountains. A cozy cabin in a retreat from the world. The trees had turned already and were bare but the damp, cloudy rainy day would have been perfect to curl up by the wood fireplace and get through that stack of books you’d been meaning to.
Except your heat, your heat that’d always been on schedule since you’d started having them, was three fucking weeks early. You didn’t have any medicine besides a few pain killers meant for headaches, not dangerous cramps, and the cabin only had basics meant for allergies or a cold. You needed heat suppressants soon if you didn’t want to go into a full heat.
Which again, wasn’t an ideal situation since you didn’t have a flippin’ mate.
You could have tried to trek back to civilization through the winding dirt road but it’d taken two hours on the way in. Two hours of intense cramps? No way were you making that drive.
“Shit,” you said, walking slowly to the service room on the lower floor of the cabin where a radio at a table sat. Because of course you wanted to vacation somewhere without people, that meant no cell service either.
A rumble of cramps passed through you, warmth flaring your insides. You gritted your teeth and grabbed the radio, turning the frequency to the ranger station listed on the sheet on the table for emergencies.
“Hello, uh, forest service? I need help,” you said, closing your eyes as pain radiated up your spine. You frowned for a moment, the radio crackling. “Hello? I-”
“This is station 327, Ranger Winchester. What’s the emergency?” asked a strong, serious voice. You bit your bottom lip as you imagined he was an Alpha, your core quivering at the idea of getting a knot. “Mam? Please respond.”
“M-My heat’s early. It’s real bad and I have no medication. I-I’m in the Vrbo cabin off route 37, Mount Dusk I think it was called. I-”
“This line is for true emergencies. Your heat being a few days early and you being an unprepared Omega is not-”
“Listen asshole,” you snarled, gasping when your stomach threatened to curl in on itself. “It’s three fucking weeks early which everyone knows isn’t normal. I need a fucking heat kit, a strong one, or a fucking knot now and since I’m out here alone, all I got is your ass. So get me my shit and-FUCK!”
You dropped the radio as you bent over, falling to your knees. Something was wrong. Heat’s didn’t come on this fast, not even when you scented your true mate.
You could hear noise through the radio but your head was thrumming, your body grateful for the cold wood floor below you. It wasn’t possible to die from a heat, was it? If you let the fever go you supposed but it took days and days for that to happen and you’d only felt crappy for an hour. Yeah, you’d be just fine. This guy would bring you medicine and you’d be fine.
Right?
You blinked open your eyes when you heard glass break. Crap, you’d passed out for who knew how long. The overwhelming scent of Alpha hit you and despite the pain, you shot upright, staring at the man in the wet raincoat as he reached his hand through the broken pane and undid the lock. He froze when he saw you, his own scent shifting subtly. A hint of fear under the surface.
“Jesus,” he mumbled, raking his eyes over your sweat drenched body. He took off his backpack, pulling out a white box and a bottle of water, cautiously setting them on the ground and sliding them over to you.
“I look that bad, huh?” you said, ripping open the box and finding the medicine you needed, knocking it back with a swig of water.
“You’re in heat and I don’t want to be accused of doing shit I didn’t,” he said. You narrowed your eyes, hand fisting in your own shirt over your stomach. That shouldn’t have been happening still. Heat medication worked instantly. “What’s-”
You fell over again, clutching your abdomen, head spinning, body going haywire at his scent.
“Please,” you whispered, finding his hard eyes. “I’ll give you whatever you want. I-I need you to-”
“I can’t.” A wracked sob slipped past your lips as something in your broke, pain flooding every single cell. You just needed a knot and it would be bearable. He muttered to himself and quickly you were in strong arms, your own wrapping around him shakily. “I’m taking you to the hospital.”
“I’ll pay you,” you whispered, hating how that sounded but he simply carried you out in the pouring rain, the cold air helping your skin not feel so hot.
“I’m on Novi-Alpha. If I knotted you,, you’d fucking die so I’m sorry but I can’t help you like that even if I wanted to.”
“I’m gonna die from this fucking fever anyways!” you shouted as he opened the backdoor of a rugged looking jeep.
“One’s a chance, one’s a guarantee,” he said, setting you down, your arms still clinging to him. He eyed you, forcibly grabbing your wrists and pulling them away. “You will not die, understand me? Now let me get you to a hospital.”
You reached for him but he moved away too quickly, closing the door. He ducked into the cabin to retrieve his bag before he was behind the wheel.
“Honey Dusk Hospital is aware you’re in a dangerous heat,” he said, turning the jeep around and driving down the dirt road, way faster than you had.
“Don’t kill me in a fucking car accident on the way,” you groaned, squeezing your eyes shut.
“This vehicle is meant for these roads, unlike your car. We’ll be on route 37 in thirty minutes, at the hospital in forty five.” You threw your head back, his musky scent filling the small space.
“Distract me,” you breathed out. “Fuck you smell so good. If you weren’t on Novi-Alpha, I’d climb you like a fucking tree.”
“Whoa lady. Calm down-”
“Don’t lady me. We’re like the same fucking age.”
“You say fucking a lot, you realize.”
“You have your insides tearing apart and tell me you wouldn’t be cursing-” You shouted, bracing yourself against the door panel, feeling him step on the gas harder. “What the fuck is happening to me?”
“...I have an idea,” he said quietly. You flashed open your eyes, looking at his incredible scruff covered jawline, his gaze focused on the bumpy, wet road ahead.
“What? Are you a doctor? Are-”
“No. I only know my basic medical training.” He frowned, rounding a tight corner. “It’s probably not a heat and you’re just sick.”
“I know what a heat feels like thank you very much.” You shivered violently, the ranger sighing. “What’s your name?”
“Dean Winchester. Try to rest. We’ll be there soon.”
The ranger’s suggestion to rest had, shockingly, not worked. By the time you were speeding down this small town’s streets, you were shaking so hard you literally couldn’t stop. Dean had reached back more than once as he drove with a handheld thermometer, muttering a few f-bombs to himself.
At least he wasn’t the one with a hundred and five temperature. A hundred and five and a half to be exact. You were pretty sure your heat was about to boil the fuck out of you and kill you within the next hour.
Dean said something but you didn’t hear him over your screaming. The next thing you knew he was ripping open the door and running inside a hospital with you in his arms, nearly tripping into a stretcher where a team was waiting.
“She’s fucking dying,” he said as he set you down, the team of doctors and nurses rushing you into a side room.
“You said this heat came on suddenly?” he asked Dean, someone sticking a thermometer in your ear.
“106. She’s too hot,” called out the nurse, the doctor near Dean rushing over, the team suddenly pushing you out of the room and down the hall. You were shoved through a pair of double doors into a bathroom, a silver high walled tub in the corner.
“I got her,” said Dean, lifting you up and plunging you into an icy cold bath. You screamed as it burned your fiery skin, his hands on your shoulders forcing you to stay inside. “Look at me. Look at me.”
You couldn’t get the words out, taking in his green emerald eyes for the first time. His scent was still all around you, pine trees and vanilla beans, a cozy campfire and aged whiskey, fresh tobacco and soft linen. Your brain went fuzzy, blood pumping in your ears, thrumming in time with your heart. Was it getting slower? Your eyes were getting heavier, that was for sure.
But he smelled so pretty, so…homey. Rugged. Yours.
“We’re losing her!” someone shouted, just as one last image of his concerned face crossed your mind.
You felt strangely…blissed out when you woke. Satisfied, like you were after being on the receiving end of a knot but also relaxed and floaty, like when you finished a heat. It wasn’t exactly a problem your heat had passed but you remembered a whole lot of pain and a high fever which wasn’t normal.
So what the fuck had happened?
You stretched in bed and sat up, a doctor in a white coat stepping into the room with a smile.
“Y/N! Glad to see you awake. It’s been a few hours. How are you feeling?” he asked, gently taking your wrist and checking your pulse.
“Uh, pretty good actually. I take it my heat’s gone?” He hummed, raising your arm up, feeling under your armpit.
“Yes. There’s not many cases a year but some Omegas do unfortunately have a negative reaction.” The doctor put two fingers to your bonding gland on your neck, your eyes narrowing. Why would he be feeling that?
“What are you doing?” you asked as he pulled them back, glancing at a monitor.
“Just checking your bond is healing.” You stared at him, the doctor glancing down with a sigh. “You don’t remember, do you? What happened before you passed out in the tub?”
“I remember being dumped in ice cold water and a whole lot of people shouting but that’s it.”
“You didn’t pass out immediately. We determined while you were on the way here that your heat was triggered by the fact you came into contact with your true mate. Ordinarily, you would have picked up on this yourselves but your Alpha is on medication that has strong side effects. Namely, he was only vaguely aware of who you were through scent but there was no desire to mate as would be the norm. For you, unfortunately there is no recognition on a level that you’re aware of. You understandably would not know you went into heat early because of your true mate.”
You reached a hand up to your bonding gland, wide eyed when you felt…something. You flew out of bed, the doctor trying to stop you but you were quickly in the small bathroom, staring in the mirror.
“What the fuck is that!” you shouted. On your neck was a fresh, pink, bite mark. Someone had fucking claimed you. You angrily spun around, the doctor holding up his hands. “What kind of hospital is this! I’m suing the fuck out of you and this whole place!”
You caught a whiff of something…delectable, an Alpha’s scent somewhere close by. It calmed you, ever so briefly, the doctor sighing.
“The man that brought you in-”
“The ranger guy.”
“Yes he…well he…there’s no easy way to say this. He is your true mate. Ordinarily we would have used medication to mimic your true mate’s scent but seeing as he was there…when he was told he would be able to claim…” he said as you stalked out, eye twitching. “We were losing you and receiving a claim bite from your true mate was the fastest way to bring your fever down. In emergency situations, true mates are allowed to make medical choice for you if you’re unable-”
“He wasn’t my mate then,” you growled.
“Physically, no but on a metaphysical level, yes. Frankly, the health of my patient, you, is all I care about. We’d like to observe you a few more hours before discharging.” You crossed your arms, narrowing your eyes.
“So my heat is magically gone and some random dude hanging out in the hall is now my Alpha?”
“That’s the more blunt way of putting it. We’ll send home medication to suppress your urges to mate physically. Your Alpha will be unable to knot you until he has completed his Novi-Alpha prescription.”
“And when will that be?” you asked, tilting your head. The doctor frowned. “When?”
“...You don’t know what Novi-Alpha is prescribed for, do you. That is a discussion for you and your Alpha.” You wanted to argue but he lifted his chin. “Please let me finish my examination and determine if your heat had any consequences.”
Three hours later they finally let you leave, a white baggie in hand that held a bottle of pills you were to take once a week for the foreseeable future. There were well over a hundred inside which made you more than queasy.
What the fuck was Novi-Alpha and why did a guy that looked more than healthy need to be on it?
You frowned when you stepped outside under the covered front entrance, the ranger standing from where he sat on a bench.
“Hey,” he said quietly. “How are you feeling?”
“I didn’t give you permission to claim me.” His scent shifted, an edge to it you didn’t like. He narrowed his eyes, a frown growing on his otherwise handsome face. “Oh, don’t you start on that we’re true mates shit. You didn’t ask for my consent.”
“Excuse me but you were the one begging for it,” he quipped back. He took a few steps away like he was heading for the sidewalk, suddenly turning on a dime and getting in your face. He breathed heavily, clenching his jaw. “You don’t feel…this and I get that it’s my fault. I barely feel it myself. And I frankly don’t care about your consent. My mate was five minutes away from death.”
“Oh, I did not sign up for some toxic asshole,” you said, shaking your head. You took a step, Dean grabbing your wrist. He looked ready to snarl, lip curling up.
“True mates are never, ever bad mates. Stop hating me for saving you.”
“I don’t even fucking know you. This whole situation is your damn fault in the first place.” He twitched his eye, yanking on your arm so you stepped forward. “Get off, ass-”
“I am your Alpha and I’m taking you home,” he said, tugging you along after him, your feet cold on the wet ground, socks already soaked through.
“I’m not going anywhere with you,” you growled. Dean whipped around and in a second, you were tossed over his shoulder. “Dean! Put me down!”
“You’ll wear yourself out if you don’t calm down.” You growled, punching his back twice. You raised your fist again but felt dizzy, your hands instead gripping him tightly. “Did you listen to the doctors at all? You need to take it easy.”
“Just take me to my cabin,” you grumbled. He didn’t speak again, only grunted once when he opened the passenger door of his truck to slide you inside. You were too tired to deal with this crap. You’d go back to the cabin, sleep for a solid twelve hours and figure out this mate crap tomorrow.
The roads were unfamiliar as Dean drove in silence, winding and twisting as he drove away from town and off a small road. It was a gravel road unlike the one to your cabin but you perked up when you saw a cabin in a small clearing after only a few minutes.
“Uh, that’s not my cabin,” you said. Dean put the truck in park, turning it off. “I was out on Mount-”
“This is my house…our house,” he mumbled the last part. You shook your head at him, Dean rolling his eyes. “You need rest, not to sit in a car for hours. I’ll get your shit from that rental and bring it here. We’ll figure out the rest of your crap from wherever you’re from later.”
“Excuse me? We’re mates, as much as that appalls me. We make decisions like where to live together. I have a job, a life-”
“We live here. End of discussion,” he growled. His scent was raw, twitchy. There was no room for arguing. You were ready to fight back but you forced yourself to calm down. He was your true mate and as much as you hated to admit it, he had a point. True mates were never bad to one another. He wouldn’t harm you but good god was this guy protective.
You frowned when he held up a finger to you and got out. He threw up his hood, rain coming down harder. In a flash he was at your door, picking you up bridal style and rushing you over to a covered porch. He set you down to unlock the door, flipping a light switch before he stepped back. You walked past him, surprised to find the cabin quite spacious and modern.
He disappeared behind you, returning with your white paper bag, now wet. His boots were removed and you peeled off your soaked through socks, following him slowly as he went to the open kitchen area on the right. The bag was set down, Dean moving to his fridge and taking a few things out.
It was open concept, kitchen on the right, living room on the left, a dining table in the front by the windows. There was a hallway in the back and one off the kitchen, probably leading to bedrooms and a garage. A large fireplace was nestled in the corner of the living room and you saw Dean cross into your vision, going to it to toss in a few logs.
Honestly, it was nicer than your rental had been.
Once he had a fire going, he turned back to where you stood on the front rug, water dripping off of you. His lips pressed into a thin line, looking you up and down not like an Alpha would his Omega. No, he was being very clear.
You were the stray that’d followed him home he hadn’t wanted.
“I don’t have to be here,” you said when he approached, staring up at his dark eyes. “This isn’t normal. We’re supposed to be all over each other and clearly we’re not. We-”
“There’s a stew going on the stove. It’ll be ready in an hour. Just leave it alone.” He put a hand on the small of your back, walking you down to the back hall, motioning you to the last door on the left. He flipped on a light, cascading you into a cozy bedroom with soft white bedding and a dark green flannel blanket on top.
He cleared his throat and went to a closet, pulling out a few pieces including a t shirt, hoodie, sweatpants and pair of boxer briefs.
“You should warm up in the shower. Bathroom is right there. The laundry room is on the other side of the house, near the kitchen and garage. It’s coming down harder so it’ll take me a few hours to get to the rental and back here. You should-”
“Take it easy. Yeah, I got that.” He nodded, pausing at the bedroom door with his back to you.
“If it’s any consolation, I’m sorry this happened to you. You don’t deserve it.” You quirked your eyebrow up.
“You’re my Alpha. We’re soulmates. I guess this is supposed to happen.” He was still, the air thick. “I…listen I know I was…I wish I’d been aware of what I’d been saying but…”
He smelled tense, his hand in a tight fist by his side. What the fuck was up with this guy?
“Whether we like it or not, we’re mates,” you said gently. “When you get off that medicine, it’ll feel different-”
“I can never get off it and I can never knot you. You’ll never feel a damn thing for me.” Then he was gone, tearing down the hall and out the front door before you could even move.
An unpleasant shiver ran down your spine that he was right.
Your feet moved on autopilot to the bathroom, stripping out of the wet clothes and standing in front of the nicely tiled shower. In seconds you were under hot water, cascading down your back, through your hair. Fingers reached up to your neck, rubbing over your bond.
There were no sparks or flurry in your veins. You were supposed to be able to feel Dean, feel your connection, feel his soul.
But there was nothing. All you felt was empty.
You couldn’t feel the other part of your soul and he blamed himself.
“Fuck that,” you said, quickly finishing and getting dressed in the clothes aside from the sweatpants that were too long.
You found his computer in one of the spare bedrooms, stealing it along with a notepad and pen. Out in the kitchen, you settled into a seat at the island and drew a line down the middle of the pad. One side for information about Dean, the other Novi-Alpha.
With a quick stretch, you cracked open the laptop and got to work.
Three Hours Later
It was dark by the time headlights flashed through the front windows. The computer said it was just after six thirty and you knew you were about thirty seconds away from an argument. Ah, what a wonderful way to spend your first night with your Alpha.
Out of view you heard the door leading from the garage to the house crack open, wet boots against the tile in the mudroom.
“I’m back!” he called from around the corner. “We’ll unpack your stuff tomorrow. How was…”
Your eyes darted over to the hallway he exited from, his socked feet padding his footfalls on the woode floors that covered the rest of the house. He stared at where you had his laptop, a charger plugged into the side of the island, a stack of papers next to you, your notepad, pen, three different highlighters and a cup of coffee.
“Are…are you working?” He asked, face souring. “You should be resting. I thought you were here on vacation anyways.”
“I am and this isn’t work related.” He narrowed his eyes, not saying anything as he went to the sink on the other side of the island to wash up.
“Did you eat yet?” You shook your head, typing some more. A heavy sigh left him. He went to a cabinet, pulling out two large bowls. “You really should have eaten something. You nearly died this morning. Your school project can wait.”
“I’m not in college,” you said, jotting down a few more notes before you saved what you’d been working on and signed out of your account. You closed the screen, watching water trail down from his wet hair and soaking his shirt collar. “Why are you wet?”
“Because there’s a thunderstorm outside. It rains here most days,” he said dryly, giving you a side glare as he walked the two bowls of stew over to the kitchen table. You cocked your head at him as you got up, Dean quickly retrieving utensils. “What?”
“You parked in the garage just now and my cabin was far enough away that you’d be dry. Where’d you stop on the way back?” He slammed the drawer shut, eye twitching. “Strike a nerve?”
“I asked you to do one thing. One thing. Rest. And y-you’re writing a research paper or some crap? Sit down and eat your damn dinner.” You would have told him off but truth be told, you were starving a bit. You took your bowl and moved it to the seat across from his, Dean angrily setting down a spoon. A few moments later, a large glass of water was in front of you and he had a bottle of beer on his placemat. Dean sat with a loud thud, shoveling a large spoonful of food into his mouth.
“Why are you wet?” you asked again, crossing your arms.
“Why does it matter? Fucking eat.” You leaned back, Dean dropping his spoon in the bowl. “Really? This is how it’s gonna be? I’ve been nothing but nice-”
“If this is you nice then I’d hate to see you mean.” You raised your chin, picking up the spoon. “I’ve always heard alpha’s protective instincts are unmatched. You can barely feel whatever this bond is and you’re so worked up-”
“I almost watched you die today.” You closed your eyes and sighed. A small noise made you open your eyes, Dean sliding a small white box over to you. You frowned, lips parting when you saw the newest iPhone inside. “I got you a phone on the account your other one was in your pocket when you took your artic dip. I rushed to the store before they closed. That is why I’m wet. I’d never want you to feel like you’re trapped here, especially when you can’t feel our ‘whatever bond.’”
“Thank you,” you said quietly. You ate in silence, the only sounds coming from the rain on the roof, the clanking of spoons and the quiet thrum of a soft rock station in the living room.
He seemed…stressed. Maybe you should wait for the morning to bring up what you’d found.
But you didn’t get the chance when he picked up and glanced at your notepad. Green eyes scanned over the pages before he gathered up everything you’d been working on.
And tossed it straight into the fireplace.
“Hey!” you shouted, rushing over as he stopped you in your tracks. He leered down, eyes dark. “That was-”
“You will delete everything you saved on that computer. Now.”
“You can’t-” He gripped your arm tight, so hard he was shaking it.
“Do it or I will make your life hell.” He released you, spinning you around towards the computer. You didn’t believe he’d hurt you. True mates were incapable of it. But you didn’t want to tempt him anymore than you already had.
Ten minutes later, your backup was gone and after a through examination by Dean, he took the computer and tossed it into the fireplace as well.
“I know you have questions,” he said quietly, back to you as the flames danced around the melting device. “I never should have gone hiking this morning. You caught my scent in the wind and-”
“Why would you go hiking in the pouring rain? It was raining this morning too. I had my coffee under the covered porch but it was coming down like bullets. No one would be out there willingly.” He turned and faced you, eyes roaming over your body, stuck on how his boxer briefs molded to your legs.
“In another life, we could have been happy. I would have given you everything you asked for. But not this one. I will keep you safe but that is all we are. We don’t get our happy ever after until we’re both dead.”
You swallowed, stepping into the living room, stopping a few feet away. “You hurt my arm just now.”
“I know,” he said, closing his eyes. “I’m sorry. It won’t happen again as long as you don’t do stupid things.”
You were getting angry again, Dean holding up his hands. “Stupid shit like try to know my new Alpha who just left me all alone? Sorry for trying to look up your damn social media. Asshole.”
Dean dropped his hands and went back to the fireplace, poking the computer with a poker, shaking his head.
“The more in the dark you are-”
“I’m a corporate forensic analyst, Dean,” you said, Dean’s shoulders stiffening. “Those notes on the computer? In that pad? Those articles? You can burn them all but it’s in my head. I don’t need the internet anymore to figure out what’s going on.”
“And what does your analysis tell you?” he grit out.
“Novi-Alpha is a cancer medication specifically for Alphas. But you don’t have it and never have. So why would an otherwise healthy Alpha take it? Well, it apparently has other uses that the public doesn’t know about…if you’re willing to live with the side effects. Side effects like knotting becoming a deadly activity to the person on the receiving end. The inability to feel your mate. Scent changes. And my personal favorite, if taken without the binding agent that’s given for cancer treatment, it changes your DNA coding without changing your DNA. Apparently law enforcement doesn’t want that news to get out there because it’s a bitch to catch people if they find out they can change their DNA on tests.”
You grabbed his arm and made him face you, a loud crack of thunder echoing in the room. Dean breathed calmly, eyes finding yours.
“Why are you taking medicine to change your DNA?”
“Because I did something bad, Y/N.” He got closer, pressing his chest to yours, forcing you to tilt your head. “I’m sorry.”
“For what?”
Fingers brushed over your cheek, thumb swiping over the curve of it slowly. “Because your true mate is a monster. And once you know the truth, you’ll want to run away…and I don’t think I’m strong enough to let you go.”
The air was thick with his scent, dark yet pleasant. Painful even. You leaned into his touch, Dean’s green eyes widening ever so slightly.
“Novi-Alpha prevents Omegas from feeling their true mate. But I know you feel me.” You closed your eyes, breathing him in. “You have to tell me the truth eventually.”
“No I don’t,” he whispered.
“You’ll tell me,” you said, opening your eyes, Dean’s hand sliding down to your mark. “Because I’m in danger if you don’t.”
He shook his head, pulling away from you. “Don’t pull that crap, Y/N. You’re safer not knowing.”
“Right. That’s why you burned everything just now.” He looked up, like someone else would magically tell him what to do. “You need to protect me. It’s your job. So you have to tell me the truth, Alpha. You have to.”
He laughed quietly, running a hand through his damp hair. “Using my title to get what you want. Manipulative. Maybe you were meant for me.”
“Dean-”
“The Ranger.” You raised your eyebrows at him, Dean wandering to the dark window.
“Uh, what? This is because you’re a forest ranger?” He laughed again, crossing his arms.
“No. I do that because…it’s a pretty isolated job. Small town work.” He looked to his right, a sad smile on his face. “The Ranger. That was my name when I had a different job.”
“That’s not a name…” you said, Dean shrugging. “What’d you do when you were The Ranger?”
He smirked, meeting your curious gaze. “Have you ever killed anyone?”
He slowly stalked back to you, tilting his head. He leaned in close, glancing at your lips. “N-No, can’t say I have.”
“Ever kill an animal?”
“I hit a squirrel with my car once. I cried all night for that.” Dean rested his forehead against yours, his scent rolling off of him in powerful waves. “D-Do you hunt animals?”
“No.” He brushed his lips to the shell of your ear, his pulse strangely calm. “Now people, that’s a different story.”

You’d heard him shifting, tossing blankets, twisting, and turning throughout the night, and you giggled to yourself at the fact that he’d obviously tried not to wake you—and failed at it. You’d pretended to remain asleep so as to not worry him. You knew Crosshair was susceptible to feeling guilty over affecting you negatively in any way. Still, you knew something was up with him, and as you made pancakes for breakfast, you had already convinced yourself to act surprised when you saw an overly tired Crosshair emerging from your bedroom.
Nothing had prepared you, however, for the sight of Crosshair completely enveloped in a thick blanket with only his face peeking through the cloth, and you didn’t have to fake the shock that overwhelmed your sudden laughter. You looked away for a moment, diverting your gaze over to the pancakes as your laughter died down softly, but when you gazed at Crosshair again, you couldn’t help but erupt in laughter once more, now not only at the sight of him, but also at the fact that he was clearly annoyed.
“I don’t even know where to begin!” You kept giggling.
“How about, good freaking morning?” Crosshair crooned, his voice nasal and the sound of his m’s coming comically close to that of a B.
“Oh ho, sweetie,” you turned the stove off and you made your way over to him as he took a seat on the couch.
“Laugh it up,” Crosshair snarled, but his nasal voice and runny nose wouldn’t intimidate a mouse.
“Do you want padcakes?” You purposefully made your own voice nasal. “A good bordig is subbosed to have a good breakfast.”
His narrow eyes glared at you. “Ha ha.”
“Or would you prefer some chicke-d soup?” You grinned, still imitating his cold-infused way of talking.
In response, Crosshair laid across the entire sofa and faced the back of it, refusing to look at you. You chuckled at his grumpy-cat attitude and kneeled down beside the couch at the level of his head as he remained wrapped under the massive comforter.
“Okay, I’m done teasing,” you spoke normally, gently shaking his shoulder. “Will you look at me, please?”
“You’re really gonna make me move?” Crosshair crooned, immobile.
“I want to see your pretty face,” you smirked.
You heard Crosshair let out a big sigh, and he struggled under the comforter to shift his body, now facing you as he continued to lay on the couch. “I have half a mind to sneeze on you and bring you down with me.”
“I eat my fruits and veggies, you don’t scare me,” you raised a brow at him.
“Shut up and give me pancakes,” Crosshair moaned softly before he closed his eyes as though he’d fall asleep any minute.
“Don’t bite the hand that’s gonna nurse you back to health, sweetheart,” you leaned in and kissed him on the forehead.
Crosshair’s eyes opened for a moment at the contact of your lips on his skin, and the teasing went away from his eyes as he gazed up at you. Your lips retreated from his forehead, and you gazed upon him too—Crosshair didn’t fail to notice the glint of adoration in your eyes, sparkling as you looked down at him. Then, when you took your hand up to brush the backs of your fingers against his cheek, he inevitably leaned into your skin and his eyes closed again. You smiled softly at his reaction, and you took your hand up to his forehead before retrieving it and watching as his eyes opened expectantly, resenting the absence of your touch.
You chuckled. “Well, you don’t seem to have a fever.”
“Yipee,” Crosshair said monotonously.
“Oh, come on,” you said as you got up. “You have a tiny little cold, you’re gonna stay home all day on the couch in a cozy blanket watching movies, with your gorgeous girlfriend giving you pancakes and chicken soup all day.”
Crosshair chuckled. “You’re right, I can think of worse things.”
“And if you’re a good boy, I’ll rub some vaporub on your chest,” you winked.
Crosshair eyed you with a little gleam of mischief, smirking as seductively as he could manage in his current state. “Aye, here I am running with snot all over me, but you still want me, darlin’.”
You cackled. “Oh yeah, you’re irresistible, all wrapped up in a comforter.”
“You can put vaporub on me anywhere you want,” he kept smirking as he closed his eyes.
Laughter took over you again. “Gross.”
“You started it,” he hummed.
With a little giggle, you got up and made your way to the kitchen to finish what you’d started, putting in extra care to the pancakes and even sprinkled in a few chocolate chips, which Crosshair wouldn’t acknowledge out loud, but you knew he loved them. It was a perfectly slow day after that, with both of you spending almost the whole time in the living room together and cozying up to warm bowls of soup you improvised and nailed.
Each time you approached Crosshair for anything, you could see it in his eyes—the faint gleam and the fleeting softness that flashed through those brown irises, features glowing with a tender affection he didn’t need to put into words. He teased and he acted like an infuriated feline whenever he was sick, but close to nothing could measure the degree to which he appreciated and simply loved you. And each time you would feel him gazing upon you in such a way, you’d smile back at him, letting him know you felt the same way.
Crosshair insisted he’d spend the night on the couch—he didn’t want to increase your risks of catching his cold by sleeping next to you like he normally would, even if the idea of clinging to you in his sleep while you played with his gray locks seemed particularly appealing. You both went into the room to get his pillow and some blankets, and he spent a relatively peaceful night on the sofa while you lay dreamlessly on the bed, missing his warmth.
You’d spent the night shifting, tossing blankets, twisting, and turning, but at least you had no risk of waking Crosshair all the way to the sofa. That thought would comfort you during your sleepless hours, and after you finally managed to sleep and wake the next morning, your head ached, you felt your nose congested, and you wanted nothing more than to remain there the entire day. You sat up on the bed, groaning as you channeled all your inner exhaustion and irony—had you known you were going to get sick anyway, you never would have let Crosshair sleep on the sofa.
You got up and didn’t bother changing out of your pajamas. You walked into the living room to find Crosshair was already awake and sitting up on the couch sipping a cup of coffee with a movie in the background, its volume low. He still had a blanket around him, but he didn’t look as groggy as he had the day before. More than that, his handsome features instantly adopted a grin and a heartfelt laugh when he laid eyes on you standing at the edge of the living room in your pajamas, your hair messy as it could ever be, sneezing, and groaning in frustration.
“I don’t even know where to begin,” Crosshair shamelessly teased you.
“You did this to me,” you frowned, and your features scrunched even more when Crosshair laughed at the way you were now pronouncing your m’s.
“Funny how the tables turn, darlin’,” Crosshair smirked.
“And I suppose you’re feeling better?” You raised a brow at him.
“Better than yesterday, but…” Crosshair looked around at the living room before looking back at you. “I could use another day of rest.”
You smiled at him. “Lucky.”
Crosshair gave a light chuckle and opened one of his arms, inviting you to sit next to him under the warmth of his blanket. You slouched your way over to him and took a seat, snuggling into his lean figure, and Crosshair wrapped his arm and the rest of the blanket around you, gently kissing the side of your head.
“You want some soup?” He asked you.
You nodded, snuggling deeper into Crosshair’s warmth.
“I’ll call Wrecker,” Crosshair said before planting another gentle kiss on your temple and reaching for his holopad, and as long as you were curled up to him, the day ahead of you could take whatever turns it wanted.

Note
Hello! I've never done a request before and I am just LOST. Sorry If I ask something I shouldn't but can you do Toby and Ben with reader that sleep EVERYWHERE. Like, sitting on the couch? Asleep reading a book with her head on her hand? Asleep sitting down on a desk? Asleep. Just everywhere and is always sleepy. I don't know If someone already asked. Thank you! Have a great day!
Toby
He just thinks you're sooo cute!
He has so many picture of you he took while you were off snoozing in a book, or lounging in an awkward position.
There's lots of blankets placed around the house, so Toby can put one over you no matter how warm it is inside the house.
He'll drape it over your shoulders, and tuck it around you, and remove anything thing in your hands. Then, he'll give you a little kiss on the head.
But if you look like you're in an odd, unnatural angle, he'll gently wake you up and guide you to the couch to nap together, or tuck you in bed if it's late enough.
He loves carrying you around, and looks forward to picking you up just to tuck you into bed before he goes to work.
And sometimes on outings, he'll give you a piggyback, and allows you to fall asleep as he carries you home.
You're just an eepy lil' [Y/N].
Ben
He's got a whole nest set up by his desk for you to cozy up in.
It wasn't very long into the relationship and moving in together, that he realized that you will fall asleep in anyplace possible.
He even caught you on the kitchen floor, dozing as the chicken baked in the oven.
That little nest by his desk is for you to retreat to whenever you want to be in his presence but also take a little sleep.
It's full of different sized pillows, fuzzy blankets, and even the small collection of Ben's squishmallow's.
He sprays his cologne on it, so when you lay down you're cozy and engulfed in the smell of your s/o.
Ben is very strategic, and he figured if he created this cozy spot, you'd be less keen on falling asleep around the house, specifically when the oven is on.
His plan worked a bit more than expected, and you often find yourself dragging your feet to his room, eyes droopy, and wordlessly snuggling up amongst the warmth.
And if Ben gets a break or two throughout the day in a mix of working and gaming, he'll either join you or wake you up with some water or food.

Shared Revelation - Marc Guiu
Authors note: now what the fuck was that match
Warnings: incorrect grammar (probably), my first language isn't english so if you notice any mistakes please tell me, just fluff!
WC: 1000+
Summary: On a vacation with friends, a booking error has you and Marc sharing a bed. As night falls, conversations lead to mutual confessions of long-held feelings. The moment culminates in a kiss, marking the start of a promising romance.
The anticipation for the annual friend group vacation had been building for weeks. This year, you were headed to a picturesque mountain retreat, nestled among towering pines and overlooking a pristine lake. Everyone was thrilled at the prospect of a week of relaxation, adventure, and bonding.
As the group arrived at the vacation rental, excitement filled the air. But as the door swung open and everyone piled inside, there was a collective gasp of dismay.
"We... we booked a house with five rooms instead of six," Héctor, the organizer of the trip, announced sheepishly, staring at the floor as if hoping it would offer a solution.
Panic bubbled up within the group as they realized the implications of this oversight. With six people on the trip, someone would have to share a room. Amidst the chaos of sorting out sleeping arrangements, you exchanged a nervous glance with Marc, your friend and longtime crush.
"It's fine, we can make do," Marc said with a reassuring smile, though you could see the uncertainty flickering in his eyes.
You tried to ignore the butterflies in your stomach as you followed Marc to the designated room, heart pounding with a mixture of excitement and trepidation.
The room was cozy, with a rustic charm that matched the rest of the house. A large, comfortable-looking bed dominated the space, its crisp white sheets inviting you to sink into its embrace. You couldn't help but feel a flush of heat rise to your cheeks as you realized what sharing a bed with Marc would entail.
"We'll make it work," Marc said, breaking the silence that had settled between you.
You nodded, unable to trust your voice as you busied yourself unpacking your belongings. The tension in the air was palpable as you and Marc avoided each other's gaze, both acutely aware of the intimacy of the situation.
The mountain air was crisp and cool as you and Marc settled into the warmth of the cabin after a day of exploring. The fire crackled merrily in the fireplace, casting flickering shadows across the room as you both laid on the bed, lost in conversation.
As the night wore on, the conversation drifted from one topic to the next, weaving through memories of childhood and dreams for the future. You found yourself opening up to Marc in a way you never had before, sharing secrets and stories that you had kept hidden for years.
"It's funny how things change," Marc mused, a nostalgic smile tugging at his lips. "I never would have imagined we'd end up here, sharing a bed in the middle of nowhere."
You laughed, the sound echoing softly in the quiet of the cabin. "Life has a funny way of surprising us," you agreed, feeling a warmth spread through you at the realization that Marc was opening up to you too.
But as the conversation lulled and silence settled between you, a tension hung in the air, thick and palpable. You could feel Marc's gaze on you, intense and searching, and you swallowed nervously, unsure of what to say.
And then, without warning, Marc's words spilled out in a rush, tumbling over each other in a jumble of emotion.
"I can't stop thinking about you," he confessed, his voice raw with vulnerability. "Every moment we spend together, every laugh we share, it just makes me want you more. I know it's probably the worst timing, but I can't keep pretending that I don't feel this way."
His words hung in the air, heavy with meaning, and for a moment, you were frozen, unable to process the whirlwind of emotions that swept through you.
But then, before you could overthink it, before you could second-guess yourself, you leaned forward and pressed your lips to his, silencing his words with a kiss.
The world fell away as the kiss deepened, passion igniting between you like a flame catching fire. In that moment, there were no words, no doubts, only the overwhelming certainty that this was where you were meant to be.
"Since when have you liked me?" you whispered, your voice barely more than a breath against his lips.
Marc's eyes softened, a fond smile playing at the corners of his mouth. "Since the day I met you," he admitted, his voice barely more than a whisper. "I just didn't realize it until now."
"How long... how long have you liked me?"
Your heart skipped a beat at the question, the weight of his words sinking in as you realized the gravity of what he was asking. How long had you liked Marc? It was a question you had avoided answering for so long, even to yourself.
And yet, as you met Marc's gaze, you knew that there was only one answer.
"Since forever," you admitted, your voice barely more than a whisper. "I've always known, Marc. I just... I just didn't know how to say it."
There was a brief pause, the air charged with anticipation. Then, as if drawn together by an invisible force, you and Marc leaned in simultaneously, closing the gap between you with a tender, heartfelt kiss.
In that moment, everything else faded away—the crackling fire, the soft glow of the moonlight filtering through the windows, the distant sound of the wind outside. There was only the warmth of Marc's lips against yours, the gentle pressure of his hand on your cheek, and the overwhelming rush of emotion that flooded your senses.
It was a kiss that spoke volumes, a silent affirmation of the feelings you had both kept hidden for so long. And as you finally pulled away, breathless and flushed, you knew that this was just the beginning of something beautiful, something real.
With a smile that echoed the joy in your heart, Marc whispered, "I'm glad we finally said it."
And you couldn't help but agree, knowing that from this moment on, you and Marc would face whatever challenges came your way together, hand in hand, hearts entwined in a love that was as deep as it was undeniable.

Lando Norris x driver!reader
Summary: A rainy day in the paddock results in a sleepy cuddle.
Warnings: fluff<3
Word count: ~0.9K
^^
The rhythmic sound of raindrops echoed through the McLaren garage, creating a cozy ambiance that contrasted with the dreary weather outside. Lando and you had just finished half of your laps when the heavens opened up, forcing you two to retreat from the track.
You both rummaged through your bags, pulling out hoodies and blankets to combat the chill in the air. Once settled, you both sank into the sofa, each engrossed in your own world of social media. The monotony of the rain against the garage doors created a hypnotic atmosphere, pulling you both towards a drowsy state.
Lando, trying to fight his sleepiness, glanced over at you, "So, Y/n, how do you think the convention's gonna go?"
"Probably the same as always. Lots of technical jargon and a few jokes from Zak." You, with a small smile, replied.
Lando chuckled, "True, true. But hey, at least we get to show off our dance moves at the team party later, right?"
You rolled your eyes playfully, "Speak for yourself, Lando. I'll be the one pretending not to know you when you break out those so called 'moves.'"
As you two bantered, the exhaustion from the day's activities began to catch up. The hum of conversation around you, combined with the gentle pitter-patter of rain, created a soothing lullaby that nudged the two of you into deep sleep.
As sleep took over, the atmosphere around you two seemed to shift. Unbeknownst to Lando and you, both of your bodies gravitated towards each other, seeking warmth and comfort. You found yourself resting your head on Lando's chest, hands comfortably folded between you two, while Lando's head found a natural spot against your own.
It was all in search of some warmth. Right?
Meanwhile, Carlos, entered the garage, catching sight of the unexpectedly adorable scene. A mischievous smile spread across his face as he discreetly snapped a picture of his favourite duo. Carlos couldn't resist the urge to wipe an imaginary tear from his eyes, fully embracing his parental role, “They grow up so fast…” he smiled a brilliant smile to himself.
Unable to contain his excitement, Carlos hurriedly went in search of other drivers to share the precious sight of the young pair cuddled up together. He rounded Charles, Max and Daniel up and brought them back to witness the unexpected scene unfolding on the small sofa. The men huddled together, huge smiles adoring their faces.
Carlos whispered, "Look at these two. They're out like lights. They’re so cute!"
The team erupted in silent laughter, thoroughly entertained by the unintended humor of their sleepy drivers. Despite the attention, Lando and you remained in your peaceful slumber, wrapped in the warmth you both provided for each other.
The dim light in the garage hinted at the passage of time as Lando and you stirred from your impromptu nap. You, feeling a mix of embarrassment and shyness, gently extracted yourself from Lando's arms, apologizing almost instinctively.
"Sorry, Lando. I didn't mean to fall asleep on you like that," you spoke, cheeks tinged with a rosy hue.
Lando, however, wasn't ready to let you go just yet. Feeling the chill in the air after being robbed of your warmth, he instinctively pulled you back into his arms, wrapping them securely around you.
"Come back here before I freeze without you. And no need to apologize. It's freezing out here, and you make for excellent warmth," he teased, a playful glint in his eyes. You couldn't help but smile, finding comfort in his embrace.
As you two nestled closer to share body heat, a flicker of light caught your attention. The two of you turned your gaze toward the television screen mounted on the garage wall, only to see yourselves, still wrapped up in each other sound asleep, broadcasted to the world. A video of your cozy moment had found its way onto the internet.
Your eyes widened in surprise, and you glanced at Lando, expression a mix of curiosity and concern. "Does that bother you?" you asked, your voice soft as silk to Lando’s ears.
Lando, unfazed, shook his head. "Not one bit. Let them see. It's not every day the world gets a glimpse of McLaren's dynamic duo catching some Z’s in the garage," he replied with a grin.
You pondered for a moment before smiling back at him.
"You?" he questioned you back, his eyes searching your own. One thing for sure, Lando did not want to overstep your boundaries.
"Not one bit," you echoed, looking up at Lando from you position on his chest, a content smile playing on your lips.
Quick to reciprocate the sentiment, Lando leaned down and placed a soft kiss on your forehead. It was a tender moment that the two of you enjoyed silently.
With a shared smile, you both settled back into comfortable positions, enjoying the simple pleasure of each other's company. As Lando closed his eyes, leaving you with your thoughts, you couldn't help but marvel at the unexpected turn of events. The garage may have been colder now, but in each other's arms, both of you found a warmth that transcended the temperature around.

hii can you do a morning sex one with Johnny(NCT), but a member comes in so y/n acts like she’s asleep?
I appreciate the request lovely!
unprotected sex, mature, MDNI
A member interrupts you and Johnny during morning sex (M) ⋅˚₊‧ ୨୧ ‧₊˚ ⋅
The sunlight spilled into the room, illuminating your sleepy face, prompting a quiet curse as you stirred from your slumber. You instinctively pulled the sheets over your head, hoping to retreat back into the comfort of sleep.
You nestled against the warm body behind you, and a strong arm wrapped around your hips, pulling you closer. You could spend hours like this, cocooned in the intimacy of your boyfriend's embrace. Today held no obligations or plans, and the thought of a lazy day together thrilled you. With your hectic schedules, genuine time together was a rarity.
Johnny shared a cramped three-bedroom apartment with four other roommates, making privacy a challenge. You had your own room but your roommate wasn’t particularly fond of Johnny for reasons that remained a mystery to you. This added an extra layer of difficulty whenever you wanted to see him. But today, with no interruptions in sight, you relished the thought of just being together, savoring each moment.
Last night had been a blessing. With Johnny’s roommate away, you had the room all to yourselves. As you recalled the warmth of his touch and the whispered promises exchanged in the soft glow of the evening, a familiar need stirred within you.
With Yuta still out for the day — and considering it was early morning, you doubted he’d return anytime soon — the prospect of having Johnny all to yourself again felt electrifying. The cozy cocoon of the sheets and the intoxicating closeness of his body against yours made your heart race with anticipation.
“Babe, are you up?” you called out, your voice soft and playful.
He responded with a gentle grunt of acknowledgment but made no move to rise. You rolled over to face him, gazing at his peaceful expression, his soft eyelashes brushing gently against his cheeks. A smile crept across your lips as you leaned in to place a gentle kiss on his eyelids. “Wake up,” you murmured.
After a moment, he slowly opened his eyes. When they settled on you, a sleepy grin spread across his face. “Good morning,” he said, his voice still thick with the remnants of sleep.
With a playful smirk, you rolled on top of him, resting against his chest. “Wanna go again before Yuta gets back?” you asked, your smile turning mischievous.
He chuckled, arching an eyebrow. “Aren’t you eager?” he teased, sitting up slightly and pulling you closer.
You pouted playfully, feigning disappointment. “We barely have time to fool around anymore,” you whined, looking deeply into his eyes. “You don’t want to?”
“I never said that,” he corrects while leaving a lingering kiss against your lips. “We should hurry before Yuta gets back”
You smiled wickedly, feeling a thrill race through you as you began to pull the oversized shirt you borrowed from him over your head, revealing your bare skin beneath.
His eyes widened slightly, filled with a mixture of admiration and desire. Without hesitation, he pushed his sweats down, and his length sprang free from its confinement, the sight making your heart race.
You scoot down his body until your facing his hard-on. You grip the base and collect enough saliva in your mouth to wet his length before spreading it. You stroked his length with a firm grip, paying extra attention to the tip before you finally brought it to your lips. Johnny groans deeply at the feel of your plush lips against him. His chest rises and falls rhythmically as you work him up. He collects your hair in his hands, moving it away to be able to see your face. You pulled away to lick up the length of his shaft before taking him back into your mouth and down your throat, causing him to bite back a moan. His hips raise and he holds you in place as he prods against the back of your throat. He hisses at the sensation of your mouth before pulling you away with a heavy breath.
"Fuck, get up here," he says, dragging you back up to kiss him.
Before meeting his lips, you lick your lips to relish the taste. You straddle his hips again and reach down between your bodies, aligning him with your entrance. You sink down onto him and groan at the feeling throwing your head back as he grips your hips tightly.
Johnny may have put you in seven different positions for seventy minutes the night before but you were still hungry for more. The previous night was clearly not enough to alleviate the sexual tension that had been building over the last few weeks.
You push him down flat against the bed and ride. You try to contain your moans and keep your movements small because you didn't want the creaking springs to give you away to his other roommates but it was hard not to lose yourself on top of him. He looked up at you with a cocky grin, and the Laissez-faire way he propped his head against one of his arm while his free hand guiding your hips had you clenching around him. He looked so good, the definition of confidence radiating from him, and although he was letting you take the reins, you both knew who was really in charge.
You bounce ontop of him a little harder, and you moan at the feeling, Johnny plants his feet against the bed and grips both of yout hips before hes driving up into you. You fall against his chest and bite down on his shoulder to keep your loud moans from spilling out.
He's reaching deep, hitting all the right spots and you're about to cum when you hear footsteps approaching. He slows down, a look of apprehension crossing his features as he thrusts shallowly, placing a hand over your mouth to keep you quiet. You both pause, listening intently for the footsteps to pass, but instead, they slow down near the door. A look of surprise passes over his face before he quickly yanks the covers over your bodies, shielding you both from view.
The door swings open, and Yuta steps in. The covers are pulled up high, completely concealing the situation, but you remain on top of Johnny, your body still and relaxed as if you’ve merely fallen asleep on him. You close your eyes and hold your breath. You can’t see what’s happening, but you hear the distinct sound of Yuta dropping his bag with a soft thud. Moments later, the closet door creaks open, and the rustling of clothing fills the silence as he searches for something. The air is thick with anticipation, and your heart races with every sound.
You hear his footsteps moving across the room, and then he sits down on his bed, the creak of the mattress punctuating the stillness. The room falls silent, and you can feel the tension hanging heavily in the air, your breath caught in your throat as you remain completely still.
You hear Yuta shift on his bed, likely pulling out his phone or rummaging through his belongings. You remain motionless. Finally, you hear the sound of his footsteps as he leaves the room, the door clicking shut behind him.
The silence stretches on, and you hold your breath for a moment longer. Then, faintly, you hear the water turn on across the hallway—Yuta must have gone to take a shower. A wave of relief washes over you, and you finally allow yourself to relax.
You sit up to look at Johnny and he looks back at you before he breaks out in silent laughter. You hit his shoulder before rolling off of him. You grab your clothes and redress, any release you had built up was gone and you werent sure how long yuta would be in the shower for. Johnny finally pulls his sweats back up with a resigned sigh, and you can’t help but feel a pang of sympathy for him. Maybe once Yuta was done showering, you could hop in and continue what you’d started.
“I was so scared,” you admit, the humor of the situation starting to dawn on you now that the immediate threat had passed.
“He definitely knew,” Johnny jokes, a mischievous glint in his eyes.
“Stop itttt,” you whine.
“He's not stupid,” Johnny shrugs. “He’s chill. He probably doesn’t even care.”
You can’t help but laugh at the idea of a completely nonchalant Yuta walking in, effortlessly acknowledging the compromising position you and Johnny had been in, only to continue on his day with a casual shrug.
“Wanna fuck in the shower when he's done?” you ask hopefully.
“Definitely”

Ateez soft hours: jung wooyoung
Tumblr media
Pairing: ateez x reader
Genre: soft hours with jung wooyoung <3
Word Count: 337 words
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Before meeting Wooyoung, you were very much in tune with having your personal space uninterrupted, especially after a long and exhausting day. All you wanted to do after a wave of exhaustion hit you was spend time alone until your social battery recharged to at least 3% for you to trek to the kitchen for dinner.
It had become a norm for you but during the times when everything had culminated into an avalanche for weariness and fatigue, you did inwardly crave for the comfort of someone.
And maybe that’s why the universe sent your boyfriend Wooyoung who was there for you every step of the way.
One of the things that had you fall in love with him was his understanding towards the way you were. He took the time to understand you, even though it didn’t happen overnight of course, Wooyoung patiently unravelled all the tricks of the trade when it came to you after having a draining day.
When you arrived at your shared apartment, he was in the kitchen preparing a hearty and nourishing soup that was your favourite one. You had already texted him about your day so he had a heads up. You tiredly mumbled that you were going to take a five minute nap and pecked him on the cheek before retreating to your room.
After 10 minutes, you awoke, and came back to a dinner table of your favourite dumplings, egg rolls and soup. The two of you would eat in a comfortable silence with subtle grazes of tender affection to indicate that everything was still okay.
Afterwards, while Wooyoung began to clean up, you trekked towards him and wrapped your arms around him from behind. You wouldn’t see it but he would have a tender smile and move around so you could be in his embrace instead, a snug place of warmth and coziness, the perfect place to be after a long day.
Those were the times it hit you, that during these times, you weren’t alone anymore.

You could feel the cold creep into the bunker as the leaves on the trees surrounding the bunker turned red and orange as they fell from the branches. You were practically jumping for joy as you got to indulge in the cooler temperatures, being able to wear warmer clothing, enjoying hot drinks, visiting pumpkin patches, and adoring the warm spices and scents that the autumn season brought for the coming months before the harshness of the winter weather Kansas had.
You and Sam came back from a day filled with fall festivities. You guys went apple picking in the morning before you went to the local farmers market that the town would have bi-weekly and walked around for a while, holding hands as the two of you strolled down the stalls of the local business owners selling their products.  Some food trucks were set up around the perimeter of the market, and one of them was selling hot cider and other warm drinks; despite your protests of you paying for the drinks, Sam had ended up paying for the hot ciders you ordered for the both of you with a cheeky grin.
The farmers market was hosted at the nearby park, so the two of you sat down on a bench and people-watched while you guys sipped on the hot ciders that warmed your insides while you drank it. Before you knew it, it was late afternoon, nearing evening, so the two of you decided to pick up some dinner. You went to the cozy diner in town, and once the two of you were done, you picked up some food and pie for Dean before heading back to the bunker.
Dean thanked you with a grin when he looked inside the bag of food you had given him and retreated into the “Dean Cave,” where you believe he spent most of his day just watching Netflix.  You shook your head and smiled to yourself before heading to your room to get ready for bed.
It wasn’t late when you and Sam got back home. But the chilly October air lingered and had settled in your skin, so you quickly gathered your pajamas, which consisted of a gray woolen sweater (that definitely was yours and not stolen from Sam), black sweats, and some fuzzy socks that you had bought as soon the weather started to cool down because you learned the hard way that the tiled floor of the bunker was not kind to bare feet in the colder months. You took a hot shower before changing into your pajamas and made your way into your shared room with Sam.
You leaned on the doorway of the room and couldn’t help the smile that grew on your face when you saw Sam already in bed and sitting against the headboard, reading the book he kept on his nightstand. He didn’t seem to notice you yet, Sam being wholly enraptured in the tale he was pulled into. You didn’t dare disturb him, so you took the time to admire him from your spot in the doorway.
Sam was wearing a simple black long-sleeve shirt, but you could see the initials of your name that you had embroidered on the left cuff of the sleeve. Your smile grew when you realized he was wearing the shirt (among many other shirts and pants) that you embroidered your initials on for his birthday. At first, he hadn’t noticed them until Dean pointed them out one day when one of them accidentally got mixed up in his laundry. You remembered how flustered he got when he asked you about it, but he still wore the garments that you had given him.
Your eyes trailed down to see what he was wearing for pants, but his legs were covered by the duvet. You could imagine that he was either wearing a thin pair of sweats or just his boxers and socks since he was the living embodiment of a furnace.  Your gaze flicked back up when you saw Sam absent-mindedly tuck a strand of hair behind his ear. That was when he saw you out of the corner of his eye, and your eyes met his.
Sam smiled at you, saved the page he was on with a bookmark, and closed his book. “Hey.” He said softly.
“Hi.” You kicked off of the doorway and made your way to the bed. Sam set his book on the nightstand and held his hand out for you to take.
“Such a gentleman, Sammy.” You couldn’t help but gently tease him as you took his warm hand.
Sam chuckled as he shook his head. “Only for you honey.” His hand guided you as you climbed on the bed and sat in his lap. Sam let go of your hand to rest his on your thighs as your palms settled on his broad shoulders.
“Have fun today?” He asked as his hands slid up from your legs and to your waist. He snuck underneath your (his) sweater to rub at your skin soothingly.
You nodded. “Very. Feels like it’s been ages since we had a proper date without Dean involved.”
As much as you love Dean, you’re sure that he was sick of third wheeling with you and his brother since monsters decided that it was primetime to cause murder and mayhem. So you were dragged all over the country for the past couple of weeks helping the boys research and kill monsters. It was only until the last hunt that involved some ghouls that the three of you made it back to the bunker, and it seemed that the monster activity had quieted. That was a little over a week ago, and trouble with the supernatural seemed to die down, so the two of you decided to have an impromptu date today after recuperating in the bunker for the past couple of days.
Sam huffed a laugh through his nose. “Yeah, I’m sure he’s happy that he didn’t have to see us ‘canoodling.’”
“But you have to admit that it’s funny to annoy him by acting like an obnoxious couple.”
Sam pursed his lips, but you could tell he was trying to hold back a smile, the twitch of his lips becoming more evident. “It’s a little funny.”
You shot him a cocky grin. “Told you.”
“Whatever.” Sam rolled his eyes at you, but a smile broke on his face.
“Your words are telling one thing, but your face is telling me another Winchester.” You said as you poked one of his dimples when he smiled.
You let out a giggle when he tried to swat your hand away from his face and missed it.
“Why do you always do that?”
You shrugged. “Because I want to. And I love your dimples.”
Sam would never admit it, but a slight blush formed on his face at your admission. Sam wasn’t used to the amount of affection in his relationships. He ducked his head down slightly, making some of his hair fall in his face. Before he could tuck the wayward strands behind his ear, you beat him to it. You brushed the hair back and rested your hand on his cheek, feeling the slight prickle of the stubble beginning to grow against your palm.
You sent him a soft smile before leaning in and pressing your lips against his. You could feel him smile into the kiss before slowly moving his lips against yours. Sam’s lips were soft and warm as the two of you shared a sweet kiss. The two of you pulled away gently, not straying too far, having rested your forehead against his. You and Sam were in your own bubble, content with sitting in silence as you took solace in each other’s presence.
After a few moments, you gave Sam a quick peck on the lips before you moved off of Sam and towards your side of the bed. He let go of you, letting you get settled under the covers, before pulling you towards him, Sam tucking you into his side. Your head was lying on his chest as his arm wrapped around your shoulders, and your arm was strewn across his chest while your legs tangled with his.
Both of you let out satisfied sighs as you settled in each other’s embrace. You let Sam’s scent engulf you, and you nuzzled your head further into his chest. You could feel his hand resting on your arm and drawing random shapes on top of the sweater, trailing up and down as the two of you lay in bed together.
“You know, my mom would have liked you.” Your voice felt deafening in the nearly silent room.
You felt Sam’s hand stop on your arm, probably out of surprise that you brought her up. You didn’t talk about your mom, or your parents for that matter, often.
“Really?” His voice was low, but you could hear the lingering curiosity in it.
You shifted in Sam’s arms, propping your chin on his chest and looking up at Sam. You were immediately captured in Sam’s hazel gaze. They were a mix of emeralds and gold swimming together in the warm lighting provided by the lamp on Sam’s nightstand.
You felt the corner of your lip twitch as you nodded at Sam. “Yeah, she was really picky with the partners I would bring home. She liked maybe two out of the ones she had officially met.”
“How many people did you bring home?” Sam’s brows furrowed, causing the tell-tale crease in between them when he got curious and asked questions.
“Around five.”
Sam raised an eyebrow at you. “Around five?” He parroted your words with a questioning tone, but a half-smile was on his face. You felt his hand on your back and traced up and down your spine.
You huffed at him, knowing exactly what he was thinking. “Sorry, she met five of my partners.” You rolled your eyes at him. “But, you would have been the sixth.” you murmured.
His smile dimmed, Sam’s hand stilling on your back. “What would she have said to you if she met me?”
You smiled at the thought of your mother and Sam meeting. “Well, she would have immediately commented on the fact that you’re too attractive for your own good.”
Sam rolled his eyes at you. “Right.”
“I’m not joking!” You couldn’t help but laugh and sit up. “My mom was an honest woman, and she let people know what she thought.” Sam’s arm was wrapped around your waist as he looked up at you from his position, lying against his pillow.
“Mhm, okay. What else would she have said?”
You could tell that Sam didn’t exactly believe you, but you moved on. “She’d be able to see that you’re adorable, considerate, intelligent, and empathetic. Mom had this thing where she could tell if you had good intentions or not by a gut feeling.”
“Did you inherit this from your mom?”
You couldn’t help but let out a chuckle. “Maybe? It doesn’t work sometimes.” You thought back to your previous partners you had before dating Sam.
“Well, let’s speculate. What do you think she’d think I’d have?” Sam sat up and rested his back against the headboard.
You purse your lips in thought before responding. “Mom would have said that you have only the best intentions when it comes to dating me.”
Sam’s face softened. “I do.”
“I know. That was the only time that it seemed to work for me.” You paused before the gentle smile that was on your face turned into a smirk. “But you would have lost brownie points by being a hunter.”
“Yeah, can’t blame her.” Sam couldn’t help but agree with that notion, and he shook his head, chuckling. You let out a light laugh alongside his chuckling. You leaned back and tucked yourself underneath Sam’s arm. He wrapped his arm around your shoulder as you rested your head on his shoulder.
There was a lull of silence that settled between the two of you.
Sam leaned over and kissed the side of your head before laying his head against yours. “Tired yet?” He murmured.
You glanced at the clock on your nightstand. “Not yet.” You answered back just as quietly.
“Have any stories about your mom? I know you don’t talk about her often, but you don’t have to answer if you don’t want to.”
You shook your head as you reached over and grabbed Sam’s free hand. “It’s fine, I have plenty of stories about her.” You swallowed thickly. It had been years since she had died, but it didn’t mean it wasn’t hard to talk about her.
“But, I remember when we had moved to California for a couple of months after Dad died, and she was able to rent out a beach house for the summer.” You smiled fondly as you began to remember your summer that year.
“She refused to tell me how she was able to get a beach house, but we spent practically everyday outside and enjoying the ocean. Mom was even able to get us surfing lessons for the summer.”
“Were you any good at it?” Sam asked.
“Yeah, I got pretty good at it after a couple of lessons. But she was terrible at it.” You laughed, your mind flicking through all of the times your mom fell when trying to stand up on the surfboard when trying to ride a wave.
“You would think a seasoned hunter like her would have great balance, but I guess it didn’t translate to the water.” You smirked sadly.
Sam laughed lightly at your words, squeezing your hand that was in his. “That sounded like a lot of fun.”
“Mhm, it was.” You sighed. “She was the best.”
“She sounded like a wonderful woman. I wish I could have met her.”
You lifted your head from his shoulder and looked up at Sam to find that his gaze was already on you. “So do I.” You murmured.
Sam sent you a sad smile before leaving a small kiss on your forehead. He shifted down on the bed, pulling you down with him, returning to the previous position that the two of you were in earlier.
You felt the warmth emanating from Sam’s chest as your cheek rested against it. You hadn’t let go of his hand as the two of you went back to lying on your bed, which rested on his stomach. You could practically hear the questions rattling around Sam’s brain as his fingers traced circles on your back. His ministrations were soothing and slowly lulled you to sleep. Your eyes eventually fell closed as your breathing began to even out.
“Do you ever think we’ll have a life outside of hunting?” Sam’s question was hushed, but it caught your attention as your eyes snapped open, and you took in a harsh breath as you thought about your words.
“Is that something you want?” You looked up at him to see him looking up at the ceiling, his face pensive.
Sam frowned slightly as he gave you a half-hearted shrug. “I don’t know anymore. I’ve tried so many times, but hunting always seems to pull me back in.” Sam looked down at you with somber eyes, his once hazel eyes looking stormy and gray, his brain becoming a frenzy of thoughts filled with doubt and regret.
“Stop.” You untangled your hand from his and took his chin in between your index and thumb. “I know what you’re thinking, and no it’s not your fault. I chose to come back into this life.”
Sam’s frown deepened. You knew that he blamed himself for pulling you into his world of crazy and despair. You huffed at him before getting out of his grip and straddling his lap once more. You grabbed his face and stared deep into his eyes.
“You better listen closely Sam, because I’m only going to say this once. It is not your fault that I’m here and hunting. Yes, I was living a normal life, but let’s face it, being a witch doesn’t allow normalcy. I was going to get dragged back into the world of the supernatural one way or another.” You let one of your hands fall from his cheek to rest on his heart.  “It just so happened that you are a part of this world that had pulled me back in.”
“But, I wouldn’t have it any other way. You’re stuck with me, Winchester, got it?” You sent him a toothy smile as you felt his heartbeat against your palm.
Sam couldn’t help but also smile at the sight of yours. “Understood.”
“Good. And to answer your question. I’m on the side of optimism here, so I like to think that we will.”
“Really?” Sam’s tone was filled with intrigue. It wasn’t every day that he saw you be optimistic, knowing that you had a realistic outlook on life.
You nodded. “Mhm. I’m not a divination witch but, I have this feeling that there’s a light at the end of this tunnel and the two of us and Dean are going to get our happy endings. We just have to wait and see what happens.”
Sam raised an eyebrow at you. “You think so?”
“Call it a really intense gut feeling.”
“So it’s a maybe.” Sam said sassily.
You slapped Sam’s chest in retaliation as he chuckled. “Shut up, who’s the witch here?”
“Hey, I was the one who had visions.”
“Did you see that far into the future? Besides, where are those powers now?” You raised an eyebrow at Sam.
Sam’s lips thinned before pressing them together. You smiled at him as he tried to think of a response, but you both knew that you had gotten him.
“That’s what I thought.” You sent him a smug smile before pinching his cheek with the hand that was still resting on his face.
Sam scowled at you before it turned into a mischievous smile. Before you knew it, Sam had flipped you on your back. You landed on the mattress with a sharp yelp leaving your lips as Sam hovered over you. You recognized the glint that was in his eyes, and before you could stop Sam, he started to tickle your sides, poking and prodding at them. You erupted into giggles as you tried to escape his hands. You were pushing at his hands as your legs flailed behind Sam’s giant form straddling you.
Sam only stopped when you yelled out ‘Uncle’ and had the smuggest smile on his face as he pulled his hands away.
“I hate you.” You breathed out, your chest heaving as you calmed down from getting attacked by Sam’s hands.
“No you don’t.” Sam had moved to hover over you, now resting his forehead against yours.
“Yeah, I do.”
Sam let out a breathy chuckle. “You’re impossible.”
“Me, impossible? Never.” You couldn’t help teasing as you bit your bottom lip and looked at Sam.
Sam’s lips were brushing against yours as he spoke. “Right.” He drawled out in a low voice, and you could feel yourself melting at the sound of the deep timbre of his voice.
Before you could make another snarky remark, Sam pressed his lips on yours in a languid kiss. Your hands flew to his shoulders and slid up to rest on the nape of his neck as he deepened the kiss. You felt his tongue swipe at the seam of your lips, and you all but let the taste of him flood your senses. You could faintly taste the mint of his toothpaste, but it was all purely Sam. He kept the kiss slow, but it was filled with passion as he licked at your mouth and how your tongues intertwined with one another. But you could vaguely feel your lungs start to burn at the lack of oxygen they were getting, so you pulled away from Sam.
You didn’t stray far, letting him rest his forehead against his as the both of you caught your breath. There were mirrored smiles on either of your faces. They were filled with content and love as you gazed at each other.
“I love you Jinx.” Sam whispered.
“I love you, my heart.” You whispered back at him.
Sam left a lingering kiss on your lips before moving off of you, and the two of you settled back into each other’s arms. Sam’s arms were wrapped around your shoulder and waist as your face was squished against his warm chest, letting your legs intertwine with each other once more, the two of you fitting together like two pieces of an unsolved puzzle. The two of you eventually drifted off, dreaming of each other and the future that awaited you and Sam.

Word Count: 800
A/N: Ahh what a precious idea!! I really really love the big brother Peter dynamic hehe 💕 also this fic is so me bc every time I wake up my first thoughts before I get my bearings are usually "wheres dadaaaa" 💕 enjoy!
It was typical for you to regress even smaller during the course of your afternoon nap, usually leading to a wonderfully cozy evening. After a day of playing, Bucky would put you down in your crib with the lights dimmed to replenish your energy while Steve cooked the family meal. Peter was always a bit older than you, so his afternoon nap was optional. Today he opted to help out Daddy in the kitchen while you slept.
Bucky returned from your nursery to see his two best boys working hard in the kitchen. Peter was dutifully stirring a big bowl of ingredients while Steve carefully cut vegetables and dropped them into the mix. Bucky made absolutely sure they didn’t need any extra help before he retreated to the living room to put on a record. Soft jazz music filled the house, and Bucky picked a book to pass the time before supper was ready. Settling into a soft armchair, one where the kitchen was still within view, he started to lose himself in the peaceful moment, the ambiance only interrupted with the turning of each page.
Until he heard the thud.
You weren’t sure how long you’d been asleep. You weren’t sure what was dream and what was real. You were stuck in a prison cell, your family on the other side. You reached out for them, desperate arms restrained by the bars. When you opened your eyes, the bars were real.
You caught your breath slowly as you took in your surroundings. It was just a dream. You told yourself that over and over again like a meditation, but it didn’t make it any more believable to your babified brain. You had to see for yourself that your family was still there. You needed to feel your Baba’s strong arms hold you against his chest, to hear Daddy’s soft voice humming a lullaby as he played with your hair, to stretch out your hand and immediately have it met with Peter’s, reassuring you that your big sibby was always there.
But you were so, so tiny. You could hardly balance on two legs, gripping tight to the railing of your crib as you tried to hold yourself up. Falling back onto your hands and knees, you gathered up all your stuffies and piled them all into one corner, forming a makeshift ramp. Scurrying up like a squirrel on a tree trunk, you pulled yourself over the top rail, but you hadn’t planned this far ahead. You fell to the carpeted floor, right on your padded bottom.
Bucky was pushing through the doorway before you even had time to cry. He picked you up and held you tight against him, softly bouncing you up and down as he patted your back.
“I’ve got you, baby, I’ve got you.” He whispered with his rumbly voice. “Shhh…”
You grabbed him tightly, his clutch pulling you back from the verge of tears. You took fistfuls of his soft t-shirt in your hands, the fabric more comforting to you than any blankie.
“What got you all worked up huh? Bad dream?” Without moving much, you nodded into his chest. You didn’t have the energy to tell him about it, but as usual you didn’t need to. Bucky had a way of reading your little mind.
“How about we go cuddle out in the living room, okay babydoll?” “‘N daddy ‘n Petie?” You mumbled in your little baby way that your Baba could always understand.
You could hear their voices as Bucky carried you out of your nursery and into the main foyer.
“Is that my baby?” Peter asked.
The excitement evident in his voice at the thought of getting to see his best playmate again. It had only been a little more than an hour that you’d been asleep, but he loved you that much. Your head perked up at that, and your bleary eyes blinked to see Steve carrying Peter out of the kitchen, mirroring you and Bucky as you met at the living room couch.
“There’s still a few minutes on the timer for dinner.” Steve said. “Does anybody know what we could possibly do to pass the time?”
“Cuddles please please please!!” Peter cheered, and you clapped in agreement.
“What a great idea! What smart babies we have, don’t we Buck?”
“I think we might have the smartest, cutest babies in the whole wide world!”
Each man sat on the couch with their respective babies in their arms, but as soon as they were seated, you and Peter started crawling all over each of them, lapping up as much love as you could before the oven timer went off. Even when it did, you weren’t too disappointed; you knew once supper was over you’d be right back to cuddling your family again.

Astarion x reader | Pampering
Tumblr media
─── ・ 。゚☆: .☽ . :☆゚. ───
As the day wound down and the last embers of the campfire flickered in the darkness, you and Astarion retreated to the quiet comfort of your shared tent. It had become a nightly ritual—a cherished routine that allowed you both to unwind from the trials of the day and find solace in each other's presence.
Inside the tent, the air was warm and filled with the lingering scent of herbs and leather. A few soft cushions and blankets were scattered around, creating a cozy nest where you and Astarion could relax together. You settled cross-legged on one side of the tent, while Astarion gracefully reclined against a pile of cushions opposite you.
"So, how was your day?" you asked, reaching for a small pouch of herbs that served as a makeshift tea. Astarion took the offered cup gratefully, savoring the soothing warmth as he recounted the day's events—the skirmishes with bandits, the unexpected encounter with a wandering bard, and the endless banter exchanged with the party members.
You listened attentively, laughing at his witty remarks and nodding sympathetically at the challenges he faced. Astarion's voice was a melody in the quiet of the tent, weaving tales of adventure and mischief that never failed to captivate you.
Once the tea was finished, you set aside the cups and moved closer to Astarion. With a gentle touch, you began to untangle his long, silvery hair, running your fingers through the locks with practiced ease. Astarion closed his eyes, leaning into your touch as a contented sigh escaped his lips.
"You know," he murmured, his voice low and filled with affection, "I never thought I'd find comfort in such mundane tasks."
You chuckled softly, continuing to brush his hair with careful strokes. "It's the little things that matter, my darling. Besides, I rather enjoy pampering you."
Astarion opened one eye, giving you a playful smirk. "Pampering, is it? I suppose I could get used to being spoiled by you."
With a teasing glint in your eye, you set the brush aside and reached for a small jar of moisturizing cream. Astarion watched with mild curiosity as you scooped out a dollop and began to massage it into his scalp, your fingers working in gentle circles.
"You have to take care of your hair, you know," you teased, your voice laced with mock seriousness. "Can't have it getting tangled during our next battle."
He chuckled, tilting his head to give you better access. "Of course, my love. Wouldn't want to disappoint you with unkempt locks."
Once his hair was properly cared for, Astarion returned the favor, retrieving another jar from your shared supplies and offering to massage your shoulders. The warmth of his touch eased the tension that had settled there, his skilled fingers working magic against the knots of fatigue.
As the night deepened, conversation flowed effortlessly between you. You shared stories of your pasts, dreams for the future, and whispered secrets that only the darkness of night could hold. The quiet intimacy of these moments, the simple act of caring for each other, forged a bond stronger than any battle or hardship.
Eventually, when the candles burned low and the weariness of the day caught up with you both, you retreated under the covers of your shared bedroll. Astarion wrapped his arms around you, pulling you close as you nestled against his chest, the steady rhythm of his chest rising and falling, lulling you into a peaceful slumber..
