Planning Your Pregnancy Photoshoot
Before you step in front of the camera, careful planning is essential to ensure that your pregnancy photoshoot is a success. Here are some key considerations:
Choose the Right Timing: The best time for a photoshoot forpregnancy is typically between the 28th and 32nd weeks when your bump is beautifully prominent, but you're not too uncomfortable yet.
Select a Location: Decide whether you want a studio, outdoor, or at-home photoshoot. Each location offers a unique backdrop and ambiance.
Wardrobe Selection: Pick outfits that make you feel comfortable and confident. Flowing dresses, form-fitting gowns, and even lingerie can work wonders.

Props and Accessories: Bring along any props or accessories you want to include in the photos, such as baby shoes, ultrasound photos, or a special heirloom.
Posing and Expressions
During the photoshoot, your photographer will guide you through various poses and expressions to capture the essence of your pregnancy journey. Here are some ideas to consider:
Embrace Your Bump: Highlight your baby bump by placing your hands gently on it or cradling it lovingly.
Couple Shots: Include your partner in some of the photos to showcase the bond between you both.
Natural and Candid Moments: Some of the most beautiful shots are often candid, capturing your genuine emotions and laughter.
Post-Production and Delivery
After the photoshoot, your photographer will work on post-production to enhance and retouch the images. Discuss your preferences for editing and any specific styles you have in mind. Once the photos are ready, they will be delivered to you in a digital format, allowing you to print and share them as you wish.

[Masterlist]
Beta: N/A Pairing: Hoseok x Reader Genre: Friendship, Comedy, Soft boy, Fluff, SMUT, Friends2Lovers, Words: 2.9k
Summary: You held many titles: his neighbor, colleague, wing-man… well, more likely a wing-woman, yet most importantly, you were his best friend. You had been friends since you were born. Between the two of you, you were younger; barely, but he never let you forget it. He always seemed to ruffle your hair and tease you, which could get rather annoying but he made up for it by treating you to things.
What if a drunken one night stand between you and your best friend Hoseok leads to more complicated situations? Your reckless twenties are cut short as you find yourself suddenly responsible for something a little more.
Warning: Braxton hicks, Reader thinks she is being followed (but is mistaken), and a love making scene very short and sweet.

Tumblr media
With your final month of pregnancy approaching you were finally ready to take your maternity leave. Deciding to continue working for as long as you could to save some money. The boss was getting super weird but you were holding your tongue and making up excuses to leave his presence.
Your last day was a little extravagant with cake and a card signed by your colleagues. The boss gave you a bouquet of flowers, which you graciously accepted as it was your last day. Everyone took photos and your boss awkwardly pulled you close, his hand resting on your belly.
Irritation growing, you wanted nothing more than to push his hand away and leave. The scent of his cologne made you feel a little sick and you were unbelievably sweaty. Excusing yourself to the safety of the women's bathroom you splashed your neck with some cool water.
Calling Jimin you whispered, “I need you to come pick me up, the boss is being weird again.”
“I am near by, give me a few minutes I will get you,” Jimin’s sweet voice rang like tiny chimes through the phone.
You waited another couple of minutes and heard your name called from the hall, “Y/n?, are you okay in there?” It was your creepy boss.
“Sorry, I am just having a hot flash so I am splashing water on my neck,” You laughed, trying to appear casual and not cause him any reason to suspect you are in distress as you would bet he would barge in otherwise, “I will be out soon.”
Your phone chimed.
[Jimin: We are in the elevator grab your things for a quick escape.]
Curious as to who he was referring to as ‘we’ but not questioning it, he was right you should get ready to leave as quickly as possible. Heading out to the gathering of your colleagues, you smiled fanning yourself.
“Here is some ice water,” One of the women smiled, “I remember when I was pregnant it was unbearably hot.”
“Thanks,” You took a drink and sighed happily at the cool liquid, standing in front of your bag, the flowers and card. The elevator doors opened to reveal a well dressed Jimin and a rather handsome man you recognized from the bar. Jungkook’s best friend, Taehyung was it? You smiled at the two as they smiled greeting everyone. “Hello, we are Y/n’s friends, I'm Jimin and this is Taehyung. We have come to pick her up.” Jimin looked around the room and his eyes lit up, “wow you are all so nice a party and everything.”
Jimin charmed the room easily and Taehyung wasn’t doing too badly either as he took the flowers and your bag. “Are you ready to leave?”
“Ah yes, I wouldn’t mind going home for a rest,” allowing the two young men to lead you towards the elevator, “Goodbye, I will hopefully see you when I am back from leave.”
They all waved and wished you good luck, and you didn’t miss the disappointed look on your boss' face. Your shoulders slumped as you leaned against the wall of the elevator, “I am so tired.”
“We will get you home soon,” Jimin smiled, rubbing your back and pulling you into a hug.
“Should we reschedule?” Taehyung said, “Or, I can um pay again, if you don’t mind waiting for a few weeks, I will save up enough money for another date.”
Jimin was at a loss for words. You knew he didn’t know what to say and you smiled, “Hey no, I will be home soon, just drop me off and go back to Jimin’s, he has a cinema room and you can order in and watch movies.”
“Yeah, we can do that.” Jimin smiled, reassuringly at Taehyung,
“Half a movie, I can only afford half a movie,” He mumbled downtrodden. Jimin wet his lips feeling awkward, he hadn’t dated anyone who wasn’t loaded with cash in a long time.
“Jimin has a rule that if he can’t make a date the next one is half price,” you took the art of improv to a whole new level, “he couldn’t make your date and it had to be rescheduled, right? So, this one is half price so you can get twice the amount of time.”
“Yeah, she is right so we can hang out a little longer.” Jimin bit his lip looking at the young man and seeing the small smile pull up on his lips. “So let’s drop the tiny mama off and go watch a movie.”
“Ok,” Taehyung smiled, you watched the two, nervous like a highschool crush developing between two students. The two graciously dropped them off and Jimin walked you to the door.
“You are smitten!” You grinned, teasing him lightly watching his blush grow. Your eyes catching Taehyung fixing his hair in the passenger seat drop down mirror. “You have never been nervous in your life, and he is so sweet.”
“I have been with rich men here and there looking for a date or a night, but I have never had someone scraping together their money to spend just a little time with me, making handmade gifts because that's all they can do.” Jimin was clutching his heart, and you finally found the key for the front door. “When he tells me I am pretty, or that he loves my voice, it’s different. I know those CEO’s had wives, but when he says it, I feel special like I am the only one in the world he says it too.”
“So what’s the problem?” You asked, letting Jimin walk you inside with all your items. “You have a lot of savings and investment properties, you could live off that money very easily.”
“How can I see him when he thinks he has to pay me all the time?” Jimin mumbled, walking back to the front door. “I don’t want him to go bankrupt because he thinks he can’t afford my rates”
“I heard at the bar that he like photography. Tell him you want a photoshoot but you don’t know a good photographer who you feel comfortable with.” You hugged and an idea struck. “Say you can’t decide on a concept and offer him a few different ones you want to try. He has been asked to submit his work into an exhibition. I think the theme was nightlife.”
“Nightlife.”
“It’s up for interpretation, but who has a more busy nightlife than you, and I am not talking about going out on the town. A sensual at home photoshoot of you in a sheet or a naked silhouette overlooking the night city.”
“Oh that could be fun, I could be part of an exhibition” he giggled, “I will ask him.”
Jimin hugged you again for safe measure and ran off to his van and climbed inside.
You waved shutting the door and heading to the fridge hoping some cold yoghurt would soothe your overheated form, whilst also feeding your almost insatiable hunger.
Opening the fridge, you saw the last of your yoghurt at the back, bending slightly you felt a twinge in your back and as you straightened up, Yoghurt in your hand as you were overcome with a tightness in your stomach. Was this a contraction?
You were two weeks out from your due date so it wasn’t unusual for people to have their babies early. You pulled out your phone calling for an ambulance and trying to breathe calmly.
[Y/n: I think I am in labor, and you’re the only one who is free today.] [DJSuga: Like really or that time you ate too much rice too quickly and got indigestion?] [Y/n: I just called the ambulance.] [DJSuga: I will meet you at the hospital let me know what ward you are in when you know.]
Tumblr media
“Hello, I am looking for Miss Y/n.” Yoongi’s voice carried across the hall from the nurses desk to your room. “I would describe her as pregnant but it wouldn’t help.”
“Wow, you are very descriptive. You really have no words to describe me Yoongi? I am offended.” You pouted walking out into the hall, “Let’s go home.”
“What I thought you were popping out a baby today?” he said confused, “If you say it was constipation or something stupid I will hit you upside the head.”
“Well, it wasn’t that.” You blushed, “It was braxton hicks?”
“Who?” he blanked, utterly confused, “What are you talking about?”
“It means fake labor, like a test run.”
“Can you stop with the test runs, I don’t think my body can take it anymore?” Yoongi held his back waddling down the hallway making you giggle. “Come on, I saw a restaurant for lamb skewers and I have been craving it since.”
“You are acting more like a pregnant woman than I am.”
Walking out the front of the hospital you were bombarded by Jin, Jungkook, Namjoon, and a disheveled Jimin with Taehyung. You didn’t realize how your eyes looked for Hoseok, until you didn’t find him. The crushing feeling in your chest made you frown slightly.
“False alarm.” Yoongi muttered, “Apparently Barbie Hacks or something, we are getting lamb skewers. Come on, I hear Jin is paying.”
Tumblr media
Hoseok arrived at the Bar and saw that no one was around, the place was locked up with a sign announcing that it was closed for the night. It was strange Jin didn’t ever believe in taking days off, even when he was sick he would be in his office resting.
He called Jin’s phone and heard laughter, “I will be back” Jin's voice called. Hoseok could hear Namjoon, Jimin and Yoongi talking about something adamantly. Had they planned something without him.
“Hey Hoseok, what do you need?”
“Your bar is closed?” Hoseok mumbled, “I was wondering what you are all doing?”
“Y/n went to the hospital because she was getting contractions but they turned out to be Braxton hicks, so we are having lamb skewers on Yoongi’s request.”
“Why did no one tell me?” Hoseok felt a little sick that his friends were hanging out without him and there was a strange pull in his chest knowing that he wasn’t there at the hospital.
“I didn’t think we had to, seeing as you are not the father of any children.” Jin repeated his words back to him, “We aren’t picking sides but you made it clear you didn’t want to be a part of the child's life. So we didn’t want to force you to be there.”
“I never said that I didn’t want to be a part!” Hoseok shouted down the phone, “Urgh, this is fucked.”
With a sigh Jin grew deadly serious, “she was scared out of her mind today, she thought she was going to have to give birth alone, you have to talk to her.”
“I said some stupid shit, Jin. I don’t know how to fix this.” Hoseok pulled at his hair and started heading to your house, hoping that perhaps the two of you could talk this out before he ended up losing you.
He had so much that he wanted to say and get mad about, he wasn’t ready to forgive you but he wasn’t ready to let you go either.
Tumblr media
You were dropped off at Hoseok’s apartment, the one you had lived in together before everything went wrong. Touching your rounded tummy you knew that this child wasn’t a mistake and apologized out loud for even implying anything of the sorts. Taking the stairs to the second floor you arrived at his door.
Knock knock.
“Hoseok are you home?” You called, taking the key from your keychain you peaked inside to see the lights were off. You sat for a moment but he didn’t come home and it was getting a little dark.
Heading out you locked up and walked along the road. You put a headphone in and pretended to be in a conversation. Speeding up slightly as you passed the men sitting on the steps of one of the stores that had closed up for the night. The men were laughing about something and you scurried along.
Sighing in relief when you went to cross the street, looking both ways you caught sight of figures following you. Were the men following you? What did they want? Thoughts were circling in your head as the adrenaline started to kick in. Dialing hoseok you crossed the road.
“Hello, Y/n?” Hoseok said “I wanted to-”
“Hoseok, there are men following me” you whispered.
“Where are you?” He asked, sounding concerned, which gave you a flash of hope that he would protect you like he always did.
“I am on our street, I am heading to Yuta, I need to go somewhere public.” You replied walking briskly.
“Keep walking, I'm on my way.” You heard the sound of an engine and you knew everything would be okay. Hoseok wouldn’t let you get hurt.
“Don’t hang up, they are still following.” Picking up your speed you noticed they had started to walk a little more briskly. “I sped up and they did too, Hobi, I am really scared.”
“Don’t slow down, you got this little darling, I will be there soon.” Hoseok said with desperation in his voice. “I won’t leave you on your own anymore. I should have been there today. I should be with you now!”
A hand grabbed your shoulder and you screamed phone clattering onto the ground, “I am sorry miss, we called out but your headphones were in, you dropped your wallet.”
“Oh! Thank you so much, I am so sorry.”
“It’s okay, do you need help, can we escort you somewhere?” The other man asked. “There has been some break-ins recently so we have taken to watching the neighborhood.”
They walked you back towards Hoseok's and you sat with them as you spoke about what happened with Hoseok. Talking about how you stuffed up and lied to him. “You mean the really happy guy with the reddish hair? You two used to walk this street all the time. I knew you too liked each other,” they grinned
“So is it a little girl or boy?” One of the guys gestured to your belly. “Have you thought of any names?”
“A little girl and I have been thinking of some. Sun-Hee it just reminds me so much of her dad,” you hummed, a little nervous to hear their feedback, “does it sound silly?”
“It sounds beautiful.”
Looking up there was Hoseok panting and looking relieved to see you okay. Standing, you walked over to your longest friend, hoping he didn’t scold you. “Hoseok, I am sorry.”
He pulled you into a hug and buried his face in your neck, “I don’t care. I don’t care that you lied and kept this from me. I don’t care about any of that, let me be here for you. I will be by your side.”
You were crying, he took your face in his hands brushing your tears away with the pads of his thumbs. “Alright love birds, Kiss each other.”
Your cheeks were bright red, ready to laugh and tell the men it wasn’t like that when Hoseok pulled you forward. Pressing his lips to your's, he kissed you fiercely, his hands holding your waist and cradling your head. He tried to pull you closer when your belly bumped against him. He looked down and rubbed your belly gently, “I am sorry I wasn’t there but I am here now, and I am not leaving.”
“Let’s go home, Hobi.” You whispered, he thanked the men for taking care of you and led you to his van. He drove back to your house and walked you inside, shutting the door and taking off his shoes. The two of you sat on the couch.
“I guess you have a lot to talk about.” Hoseok said nervous and you swung your leg over his lap and kissed him. It was difficult to maneuver with your big belly, but you were too busy enjoying the feeling of his soft lips against yours.
“I want to remember this time,” you breathed against him. “Please let’s just pretend that one didn’t happen and try again.”
Hoseok laughed and lifted you carefully and carried you to the bedroom.
Hoseok was gentle and passionate; he teased you with his fingers and lavished you with his tongue. You had never had anything like this. Usually you were chasing a high with some guy you never had plans to call again, and that was on the rare occasion you were looking for sex. This made you feel overwhelmingly good, your heart was pounding. Every thrust brought with it a spark of energy. You clung to Hoseok as he lost himself in the sensations.
He would open his eyes in moments of clarity and kiss you telling you how much he loved you. It wasn’t like jumping off the edge into pleasure; this was like waves that started small and built into a choppy tide never crashing upon you, just rocking you with pleasure. After the crescendo moment the waves began to ease back until it was the gentle waters lapping at the sand.
“Hobi,” you panted as he laid your head on his chest. He hummed encouraging you to continue. You took his hand and placed it onto your belly, “you remember two minutes ago when we had sex, well I think I fell pregnant.”
He laughed, throwing his head back into the pillow and leaned down kissing your belly, “I think you might be right!”

Telegraph article from February 2014:
“Zara Tindall has risked irritating the Queen by selling exclusive photographs of her daughter Mia to Hello! magazine for a six-figure sum.
The Queen’s granddaughter is the most senior member of the Royal family to sell the rights to the first portraits of their child, and signed the deal despite previous denials that she intended to make money from the birth.
Pictures of Mrs Tindall with her husband Mike and their daughter appear on the front cover of this week’s Hello! and across 13 pages inside. In an accompanying interview, Mrs Tindall talks publicly for the first time about giving birth, disclosing that she had an epidural.
Buckingham Palace declined to comment on whether the Queen had been consulted about the coverage or even informed in advance that the deal had been done for pictures of the 16th in line to the throne.
But when Zara Phillips, as she was then, married Mike Tindall in 2011, she was reportedly frustrated at being told by Buckingham Palace she could not sell pictures of the wedding to Hello!.
When her brother Peter Phillips sold pictures of his wedding to Autumn Kelly in 2008 to Hello! for a reported £500,000, palace aides let it be known that the Queen was not happy with the decision.
On that occasion, the Queen and other members of the Royal family were angry that their attendance at the wedding had become a selling point for the 20 pages of photographs that appeared the following week.
The pictures of Mia would not have commanded such a high fee, as they do not include other members of the Royal family, though the couple are understood to have received more than £100,000.
The photographs were taken two weeks ago by Anya Campbell, a professional photographer and friend of the couple who has photographed other members of the Royal family in the past and had no idea they were going to be sold on to Hello!.
Since Mia was born at 1.51am on Jan 17, Mr and Mrs Tindall have been careful not to be pictured in public with their daughter, apart from on one occasion when the new mother was photographed pushing a pram.
The Hello! pictures were taken at the couple’s home on the Princess Royal’s Gatcombe Park estate in Gloucestershire. In the interview, Mrs Tindall described her daughter as “pretty relaxed and happy so far” and said: “I still keep looking at Mia and thinking, 'Oh! We made that!’”
The 32-year-old told the magazine that she had an epidural when she gave birth on an NHS ward. She had decided in advance that she wanted the epidural “rather than try and fight the pain”.
She also said the couple — who want two children — had hired a maternity nurse for four days after they got home from hospital, “mostly to learn bits and pieces like bathing and feeding and general routine” but were now managing on their own.
Mr Tindall, 35, a former England rugby player, said that: “As soon as we had Mia I sent a text to all the family. Zara is very close to her grandmother [the Queen] so of course she made a phone call once we got back home.”
Mrs Tindall first posed for Hello! in 2002 when she was paid a reported £125,000 for an “at home” photoshoot with her then boyfriend, Richard Johnson, the jockey.
She has no Royal title and is a professional equestrian, funding her stables through sponsorship with firms such as Land Rover and Rolex.
A spokesman for the Queen said: “Zara looks after all her own publicity. We wouldn’t comment on whether the Queen was informed.”
A spokesman for Mrs Tindall said the couple had agreed a deal with Hello! “for the future of their family”.
Graham Smith, chief executive of anti-monarchy group Republic, said: “Clearly she is exploiting her links to the Royal family for financial gain. It’s not really appropriate for her to be cashing in like this, but then again cashing in is what the Royal family do best.”
Last September, Prince and Princess Michael of Kent’s son Lord Frederick Windsor and his wife Sophie Winkleman posed for Hello! with their baby daughter Maud. Other royals who have posed for Hello! include the Queen’s nephew Viscount Linley, Princess Alexandra’s daughter Marina Mowatt and the Duchess of York”
Of course 16th and an Olympic champion isn’t 6th and the son of a future king 🤦‍♀️
Thank you for this. If The Queen was irritated with Zara over this, she better come for Harry's life for doing the exact same thing. And I can't wait to hear what Graham Smith will have to say about the same.

Please Come Home
Pairing: Ben Hardy X Reader
Word count: 3608
Summary: When (Y/n) falls pregnant with Ben’s baby, everything seems to be going well; Ben’s extremely excited to be a father, and he loves that she’ll be the mom. But when the two get in a fight and he storms out, everything in their lives comes crashing down.
Warnings: Pregnancy/live birth (a lil gory), blood/vomit/amniotic fluid, perineal tearing, verbal spat/fight/whatever you want to call it, allusion to abortion, fluff followed by heart-wrenching angst, DEATH. This is kinda dark, guys.
A/N: Wow okay, this is a thing I wrote. Uhhhhhh...enjoy?
Tumblr media
~~~ He’d started the fight, and he knew it. He shouldn’t have stormed out, and he knew it. There were a million things he could’ve done differently that night, and he knew it. The only thing he couldn’t do was change the past. And it was killing him.
---
“Shit,” you whispered to yourself, staring at the pregnancy test in your hand. Somewhere deep inside, you knew it would be positive, but you still didn’t want it to be true. You and your boyfriend had too much going on in your lives to be worrying about a baby too.
You shoved the test into your jacket pocket before heading back out to the living room of your flat. Ben would be home any minute, and you didn’t see the point in hiding anything about this from him. You fiddled with your fingers, trying to calm yourself down.
About an hour later, Ben walked in the door, anger and frustration evident on his face. “Hey babe,” he said quickly, immediately heading into your bedroom.
You frowned. “What’s wrong?” you called after him.
“Everything is stressing me out,” he replied. “No one on that set takes anything seriously.”
You grimaced. “Well...I’ve got something to tell you.”
“Is it important?” he asked, walking back into the room, now wearing sweatpants and a comfortable shirt.
You nodded. “Kinda.”
Ben sat down next to you, wrapping an arm around your shoulders. “Well, what’s up?”
You took a deep breath. “Promise me you won’t freak out.”
He frowned. “Why would I freak out?”
Slowly, you took the pregnancy test out of your pocket and set it down on his thigh, not looking at his face. You heard him gasp as he removed his arm from you and picked up the stick.
“Is this real?” he asked.
You nodded. “Yeah. That’s why I asked you not to freak out.”
“I’m not freaking out.” He took a shaky breath. “It’s just...wow.”
You let a tear slip down your cheek. “I have no idea what to do.”
Ben paused. “Well, we need a nursery, some baby clothes, some pacifiers, some diapers, a crib, some--”
“What?” You finally looked over at him. “You want this baby?”
“Of course.” He brought a hand up to your face, gently caressing your cheek. “I’ve always wanted to be a dad, and if there’s anyone I would choose to be the mom of my kids, it would be you.”
You let out a sob, burying your face in his shoulder. He brought his arms around you, holding you in a bear hug as best he could. “I love you,” you murmured. “I love you so much.”
He rubbed a hand up and down your back. “It’ll be okay. I’ll take care of you. And our baby.” He kissed the top of your head. “I love you too.”
You sighed, closing your eyes. “I may just fall asleep right here.”
“You do that.” Ben lay down on the couch, pulling you on top of him. “Just relax. We can talk more about this in the morning.”
You fell asleep shortly afterward, snuggled in the arms of the man you loved.
---
You were a few months along when Ben started experiencing severe nesting syndrome. You were hardly even showing and he already had the nursery almost completed.
“Ben, why won’t you let me see it?” you asked.
“Because, it’ll be really cool once it’s finished!” Ben gently nudged you out of the doorway. “I’ll be out in a few minutes.” He shut the door in your face.
“Alrighty then.” You went back into your room, sitting down in a rocking chair Ben had bought for midnight breastfeeding sessions. You picked your book up from the table next to you, opening up to the page you left off on.
A while later, Ben came dashing into your room, paint all over his shirt and a screwdriver in his hand. “Okay, it’s done!” He ran over, grabbing your hand and pulling you out of the chair. “C’mon, let’s go!”
He dragged you down the hall to the nursery, stopping in front of the door. “You ready?” he asked.
“Yes!” you exclaimed. “I’ve been ready.”
“Well, ta-da!” He threw open the door and stepped aside, giving you the first view of your child’s bedroom.
The walls were painted to look like an animated forest, with little decals of Winnie the Pooh characters stuck all over them. The crib was painted yellow and had stuffed animals of all the animals from the Hundred Acre Wood inside. There was another wooden rocking chair in the corner, along with a small wooden bookshelf stuffed with Little Golden Books, most of which were Disney.
You covered your mouth, taking it all in. “This is beautiful,” you said, finally stepping into the room. “This is amazing, I absolutely love it.”
Ben smiled, hugging you from behind. “Obviously we need to buy dressers for clothes and other toys and a toy box and such, but I figured this was a good start.”
“It is.” You turned around in his arms, standing on your toes to give him a kiss. “It’s fantastic, you did a wonderful job.”
Before Ben could reply, a small lurch was felt from your belly. Both of you gasped simultaneously, Ben reaching his hands down to touch your swollen stomach.
“Did the baby just kick?” he asked, eyes wide.
You nodded, a couple of tears springing to your eyes. “He did, he actually did.
Ben chuckled a little. “He?”
You shrugged. “I just know.”
Your boyfriend grabbed you in another hug. “We’ll just have to see.”
You sighed, snuggling into his chest. “Only five more months. That’s not that long.”
“It’ll feel like eternity,” Ben joked.
You giggled. “Yeah, probably.”
---
Once you got to eight months, Ben scheduled a pregnancy photoshoot. You’d always dreamed of having one, but you never thought it would happen when it did.
You’d picked out a beautiful blue dress that was fairly tight so your belly could easily be seen. You also wore some nice sandals and a flower crown of white roses. Ben wore a blue collared shirt that was the same shade as your dress, along with some white dress pants.
“It could’ve been a little less windy today,” Ben noted, smoothing down his shirt for the millionth time. You’d decided to have the shoot in a park with plenty of trees and flowers around. The only problem was that no one could’ve anticipated how windy it was going to be.
You nodded. “That would’ve been nice, yeah.” You pushed your hair out of your face. “Well, we’ll just have to go with it.”
“It’ll make for some interesting pictures,” Ben pondered.
Frankie jumped up on your leg, wagging her tail as she tried to get you to take the stick in her mouth. You giggled, grabbing said stick and throwing it into the trees. The beagle quickly ran off to find it again.
Ben sighed, wrapping his arms around your waist as best he could with your stomach protruding. “Have I told you that I love you?” he said.
“Hmmm,” you hummed. “I’m not sure. Maybe you should say it, just in case you haven’t.”
Leaning down until your foreheads were touching, Ben sighed. “I love you so very much,” he whispered. “And I love that you’re able to carry our child and be so strong about it.”
You pressed a short kiss on his lips. “I love you too. And I love that you’re so excited to be a father.”
He smiled. “This is all I’ve ever wanted.”
Before you could reply, the photographer popped around a corner, jogging with all his equipment in his arms. “Sorry!” he called. “Sorry, I got pulled over on the way here.” He set a tripod down on the path. “This is the maternity shoot?”
You looked down at your stomach before looking back up at the photographer. “Yes. Yes it is.”
“Fantastic.” The photographer set the camera on the tripod, pointing it at you and Ben. “Let’s just take a normal picture here before we move on and pose and such.”
Ben wrapped an arm around your waist, pulling you into his side. “Sounds good to me.”
The photographer took several photos of you two just standing there, getting a few different angles and a few images with Frankie.
“All right, let’s move on,” he said after a while, moving to grab his tripod.
“Wait,” Ben interjected. “Can you take a few more here?”
The photographer sighed. “Sure, whatever.”
Ben turned to you, grabbing both of your hands in his. “(Y/n), I love you with all my heart. You’ve stuck with me through everything, you’ve made me a better man, and now you’re pregnant with my baby. Nothing in my life makes me happier than you do, and I can’t imagine spending the rest of my earthly time with anyone else. So, I have a little question…” He got down on one knee, pulling a baby blue box out of his pocket. You covered your mouth with both hands as he popped the box open, revealing a beautiful diamond ring. “(Y/n) (L/n), will you marry me?”
The camera’s flash went off several times as you felt happy tears fall from your eyes. Your hands dropped to your sides as you nodded vigorously. “Yes,” you choked out. “Yes, I’ll marry you!”
Ben stood up, grabbing your left hand a slipping the ring onto the correct finger. You turned your hand gently, admiring the way the sun hit the stones. Ben cupped your face and brought his lips to yours; it may have been the sweetest kiss you’d ever experienced.
He eventually pulled away, smiling as wide as ever. “I’m so fucking happy,” he whispered.
“Me too,” you replied, wiping away some tears. “Benjamin Jr.’s happy too.” You put a hand over the spot on your stomach that your baby was kicking. “I think he wants out.”
Ben laughed. “Maybe he’s getting cramped.”
You rubbed the spot your baby had kicked. “It’s okay, little guy. You’ll be out soon.”
Ben knelt down again, pressing kisses all over your stomach. “Yes, you will. And I absolutely can’t wait.”
---
“All I’m saying is that you could do a little more housework,” you huffed, crossing your arms over your chest. Ben was being pissy because you kept asking him to do your chores.
“I take care of you all day!” Ben snapped. “I can only do so much!”
“The dishes haven’t been done in a week!” you almost shouted. “I can’t even reach the sink!”
Ben rolled his eyes. “Okay, I’ll do the fucking dishes. Anything else you want me to do, Your Highness?”
“Jeez.” You sighed. “Sorry I’m carrying your baby and can’t do jack shit around here.”
“Well I’m tired too!” he replied. “You tossing and turning is affecting my sleep schedule too! And I’m having to do all the chores, all the grocery shopping, all the cooking, everything! And you’re telling me you can’t do one single thing?!”
You fought back tears. “No, I can’t. I’m carrying thirty extra pounds around constantly, my back is going to kill me, and I feel like I could go into labor at any minute. Not to mention that I haven’t slept for more than two hours at a time in three months!”
Ben threw his hands in the air. “Well, sorry I’m not pregnant and suffering with you!” he shouted.
“That’s not what I’m saying and you know it,” you replied. “I’m just asking you to pull some extra weight until the baby comes.”
“Is that not what I’m doing?!” he yelled. “I’ve been taking care of your sorry ass for nine months! I’ve dealt with so much whining and crying that you’d think you’d be out of tears from being sad about stupid shit! And nothing I do is ever good enough, you always want to nitpick what I’ve done wrong!”
“Ben--” you started.
“No!” he cut you off. “I’m tired of this. I’m tired of dealing with pregnancy symptoms, I’m tired of dealing with the constant nagging, and I’m tired of dealing with you!”
You quickly wiped away your tears, not wanting him to see you cry. “What the fuck, Ben?” you asked quietly.
He shook his head, heading towards the door. “I need alone time. I’ll be back tomorrow.”
“Come back here!” you shouted weakly.
“Shut the fuck up!” The door slammed behind him.
“I’m sorry,” you whispered to no one, burying your face in your hands and sobbing.
---
Everything was fine for an hour after Ben left. Then, once you finally tried to get off the couch, you felt a trickle of liquid running down your leg.
“Oh, my fucking God,” you murmured. “My water just broke.”
You stripped off your pants and underwear, sitting back down on the couch. You took your phone and opened the timer app to monitor the spacing of the contractions. You knew you should’ve called 911, but you figured you’d be able to do it by yourself; you’d watched plenty of birth videos on YouTube, so you knew what to expect.
As the contractions started to get more painful, you stuffed one of your pants’ legs in your mouth and bit down on it, trying to make as little noise as possible; you didn’t want to wake the neighbors or anything.
Eventually, you decided to call Ben, because you needed him there. You tapped on his contact and put the phone to your ear.
“Hey, this is Ben Hardy’s voicemail, please leave your name and a message.”
“Shit,” you rasped. After the tone, you continued speaking: “Hey babe, it’s (Y/n). Um...you really need to come home, now. I just went into labor and I need you here. Call me back.”
Every second seemed to be more painful than the last. You screamed into the fabric of your pants, trying to think of something other than the excruciating pain.
“Ben, please,” you whimpered into the phone for the fifth time. “Ben, please pick up.”
After what must have been two hours later, you felt the undeniable urge to push. You had no idea how dilated you were, but it felt like the baby needed out, now.
Slowly, with you pushing, the baby made its way out. Nothing could’ve prepared you for this type of pain; it felt like your whole crotch was on fire. You felt your perineal skin tear, eliciting a loud shriek from you.
Finally, once the shoulders had come out, the rest of the baby’s tiny body practically fell onto the couch. They began to wail immediately, causing you to sit up and quickly grab them and pull the small human to your chest.
After a few minutes of cuddling and trying to calm your child down, you finally checked if you had a boy or a girl, smiling when you saw you were correct.
“Hi, little Benjamin Jr.,” you whispered. “You’re so cute. Yeah, you’re a little squishy baby.” He only screamed in response.
You decided to make one more phone call to Ben. “I just gave birth,” you whispered. “I hope you’re okay. You...you haven’t answered my calls and I’m scared. What if something happened to you? You could be in a ditch somewhere and I’d have no idea.” The dizziness hit you like a truck. “Please come home. S-Soon.” You hung up and dropped the phone on the ground.
You didn’t want to pass out, not with a baby in your arms. Shakily, you stood from the couch and shuffled your feet towards the nursery, making sure not to drop the still-screaming baby. “Shhhh,” you said. “It’s okay. Everything’s okay.” You felt the same trickle down your leg, except this time you knew it was blood. “Mommy’s gonna be okay…”
You had to stop and lean on the doorframe of the nursery for a moment; the whole world felt like it was spinning. Your vision would go dark for a few moments and it scared you; you really didn’t want to drop the baby.
Slowly, you made your way towards the crib. Using both hands, you set the newborn down inside of it, sighing in relief. “There. Now we can sleep.”
Your head hit the rail of the crib as you passed out, crashing to the floor.
---
Ben’s POV
I rolled my eyes, taking a sip of my soda. “That’s the eleventh time she’s called me,” I complained. “You think she’d take a hint. I just want to relax with my friends for a minute.”
Joe sighed. “Dude, maybe it’s important, what if she’s sick?”
“Then she can deal with it.” I shook my head. “I’ve done so much for her and she can’t do anything to help herself?”
“No,” Gwilym said. “Because she’s pregnant. You’re the cause of her main problem, you should be there to help her.”
I scoffed. “It takes two.”
“Well, you’re the sperm giver,” Joe said, taking a sip of his soda. “So that means you have responsibilities as a dad, before the baby’s even born.”
I sighed. “Okay, you may be right. I just don’t want to be doing everything for her anymore.”
“She needs you now more than ever,” Gwilym noted. “She’s in pain a lot and has a hard time even standing up from a chair. Just go home and apologize and cuddle her to sleep. But listen to her voicemails first.”
I nodded, grabbing my phone and heading outside. I tapped on the first voicemail and listened to it.
My blood ran cold. And the rest didn’t help the anxiety curling up in my stomach.
“I just gave birth,” she murmured quietly. “I hope you’re okay. You...you haven’t answered my calls and I’m scared. What if something happened to you? You could be in a ditch somewhere and I’d have no idea. Please come home. S-Soon.”
I think I accidentally dropped my phone in a gutter, I don’t really remember.
I sprinted home. I didn’t even care if I barrelled into anyone, I just needed to get home, ASAP. I was so scared, but mostly just pissed at myself; I missed the birth of my child because I was angry at my fiancée. How pathetic.
While it usually takes me ten minutes to walk from our flat to the bar, I made it home in three. My hands were shaking violently as I unlocked the front door and threw it open, immediately horrified by the trail of blood across the floor.
“Holy shit,” I whispered. Almost reluctantly, I followed the blood straight to the nursery, from which I heard the terrible screams of a neglected, cold baby. Taking a deep breath, I turned the corner.
I’m ashamed to admit that I threw up at the sight. I vomited all over the nursery door. (Y/n) lay on  the carpet, a large stain of blood and amniotic fluid growing around her. Her eyes were closed and her body was slumped in a way that didn’t look natural. A bit of blood ran down her forehead, leading me to believe she passed out and hit her head on the crib.
I fell onto my knees next to her, grabbing her wrist and feeling for a pulse. Tears fell down my cheeks when I didn’t feel anything. I placed a hand against her chest, feeling for a heartbeat. I stuck a finger under her nose to check for breathing. Nothing. She was dead.
“Hey,” I croaked. “Hey, babe, you gotta wake up.” I pulled her into my lap, leaning over her body and sobbing, my whole body twisting in sorrow. “Wake up!” I screamed. “Babe, you can’t do this, wake up! W-We have a kid to take care of! C’mon, get up!”
I don’t know what I expected; people don’t just bleed out and then come back to life. But I wasn’t about to let the love of my life slip away like that, after I’d ignored all her calls and essentially caused this.
“Wait,” I rasped. “Let me go call 911.” I stumbled into the living room, looking for her phone. I found it on the floor and quickly used the emergency function to call 911.
The call passed in a blur. I told them the problem, pleaded for them to get here as fast as they could, and then hung up. I made my way back into the nursery, truly hearing the cries of my child for the first time.
I picked him out of the crib, holding his small, bloody body to my chest. “It’s okay,” I said, my voice wavering. “Everything’s going to be okay, I promise. Daddy’s gotcha, you don’t have to cry.” I sat down on the floor next to (Y/n)’s body, my arms trembling. “Just let me do all the worrying about Mummy, okay?”
The ambulance arrived after what felt like forever. They burst in the door and immediately put my darling on a stretcher, wheeling her out the front door. Someone took my son out of my arms, and that’s when I actually broke down. I stared at the red stain on the carpet and sobbed, knowing I’d never be able to get it out, that it would forever be a reminder of the events that took place that night; how I was being a dick, how she gave birth without me, how I ignored her calls and inadvertently killed her.
“Sir?” a paramedic asked. “Sir, who was that woman?”
I screamed, putting my head between my knees and watching my tears fall onto the floor. “My everything,” I answered.
01. We should talk DIY Toddler Photoshoot
First of all – the enormous declaration. As guardians, you are anxious to declare the introduction of your child to the world. However, in case you're considering refreshing your web-based media with a straightforward (read: exhausting) photograph and text, then, at that point, hang on. All things considered, these are recollections that you'll cherish for a lifetime, so it's anything but a touch of exertion.
The best part is, you needn't bother with extravagant props. Check out your home for straightforward things that you can utilize. Here are a few thoughts:
– A free weight or a gauging scale to show your child's weight;
– An old toy having a place with the mother or father of the child adds that extra wistful worth;
– An estimating tape or scale to show stature;
– Wooden child blocks, hitting, scrabble tiles to explain the child's name;
– Fresh blossoms around your infant young lady for extra-female energy;
– An old clock or watch to show the hour of birth;
– A schedule to show the date of birth;
– Pick a topic and stick to it. For instance, colors, seasons, celebrations, sports, botanical, and so forth;
Lay everything level on a lovely cover, sheet, or rug. Anything delicate that additionally makes for a beautiful foundation will work. Snap photographs from straight above.
That wasn't so difficult now, right? Presently you're good to go to share the information on your lovely child, kid or young lady with the world.
02. The Cocoon Wrap
toddler Photoshoot Bangalore ideas at home
This is one of our #1 baby photoshoot thoughts that you can do at home and it is simple as well. You will require some fabric to envelop your child with, ideally stretchy material. Wrap the child's hands and advantages (or forget about the hands) and begin wrapping. Watch this instructional exercise for a bit-by-bit guide.
On the off chance that you can track down an adorable container to place your wrapped up darling in, fantastic! You can make various efforts by messing with adornments, the situation of the child's hands (palms on one or the other side of the cheek, tucked under the jaw, and so on) Make sure to consistently go with what your child appears to be OK with.
Tip: If your child cries from the outset, don't surrender. Work through the crying and continue wrapping. Infants love a decent cozy wrap. Tenderly mitigate your child and he/she will in all probability float off into Neverland pretty fast.
New Girl S7 Premier Recap: Are Nick and Jess...Engaged?
This season’s first episode, “About Three Years Later” is set...you guessed it, roughly three years later.  (Spoilers below the cut)
We open on a spit-take of Jess and some other dude getting off a plane together. Don’t worry, the writers are just fucking with you: Nick and Jess are coming back from a long book tour in Europe, and are going straight to Schmidt and Cece’s for their daughter Ruth’s birthday party. But not until the writers troll you one last time, having Jess wiggle her left hand and exclaim, “Wait ‘til they see what’s on my finger!”
Just the first time we raise the question: Are Nick and Jess engaged?
Answer: Nope. Jess is wearing a cast. Because she broke her finger in a Vespa accident.
Nick takes a private moment to call Bob, Jess’ father to tell him: Nope, they still aren’t engaged. They had months in Europe, in every romantic location in the world, but Nick wants to propose in the loft, where they met. It’s hard to decide whether to side with Bob’s fury or Nick’s sentimentality. Nick only plans to wait a few more hours, so we’ll side with him for now.
At the party, things quickly spiral out of control. Aly and Winston are--of course--in attendance, and expecting their first child! Aly, who is seven months pregnant is not amused by everyone trying to wait on her hand and foot. She has always been a badass, and is convinced she can and will remain one throughout the pregnancy... Even in the face of Winston’s worship of her, her baby bump, and pregnancy in general. He has just received back proofs from a maternity photoshoot he convinced Aly to do, and spends the party asking the gang to pick a favorite.
Worse? Jess’ ex-boyfriend Russell Fancyman is in attendance with his own three-year-old. He reveals that since he’s last seen Jess (the restaurant, when Jess & Nick wrote what their relationship means on notecards for Russell!), he’s been married and divorced twice (not sure you should brag about that, Big Guy). He takes another jab at her and Nick, cynically wondering why they’re still together if they can’t move forward. She lies and tells him they are engaged, only for Nick to show up. Nick’s weird obsession with Russell has continued (Nick copied Russell’s office for his own home office), but he behaves normally and manages to take the reveal of Jess’ lie better than the old Nick Miller would.
Meanwhile, Schmidt’s party for Ruth is not proceeding well for the parents or kids either. We find out he’s a stay-at-home Dad and has spent months planning this party. He’s spent the same months growing a creepy dad/pornstache, which Nick and Schmidt fight about all episode. Thanksfully, it’s gone by the end of the episode...in an even more uncomfortable sequence where Nick shaves it off. In front of the whole group.
The party, though: It is an intensely feminist couple’s dream party...that makes no sense for children. Whose idea was a panel for the kids to ask famous women questions? They’re three. But when Schmidt and Cece give the parents alcohol to liven things up a bit--with punny cocktails, like the Ruth Bader Gins-burg--things really fall apart. Soon, a drunk woman trying to climb a tree in heels falls on Jess. A complete brawl breaks out, and Aly--still pregnant but desperate to not be treated differently--jumps into the middle and roundhouse kicks a drunk reveler in the face.
Party’s over.
At their own place, Aly and Winston fight about the photos. When she finally sees them, Aly finally realizes that she is a “walking miracle with magic inside” and finally accepts that Winston wants to wait on her hand and foot.
Back at the loft, Jess is desperate to go to sleep, but Nick insists on opening mail. The ring is in an envelope from Turkey. (WHYYYY, NICK. WHY?) He tries to makes Jess open it, but just as it looks like he’ll finally get to propose, Fancyman arrives to offer Jess a job. He leaves--Nick has another chance! But then the whole gang starts filtering in. There are too many drunk people at their house to cut the cake, so Cece, Schmidt, and Ruth arrive to blow out the candles, naturally. Winston and Aly show up too.
And of course, just as Nick has gathered up the courage to finally do it, handing Jess the envelope (and making his peace with the fact that everyone is in the flat) Jess drops her bombshell: She doesn’t really want to get married. She likes their relationship where it is and doesn’t want to ruin it by doing anything--even moving forward.
Sorry, Bob. Maybe next time.
Except... As everyone watches Nick shave Schmidt (whyyyy) a notice is slipped under the door: The loft’s under new management. Maybe this week, we’ll find out what that means for Nick and Jess.
#BigInterview: Breakdowns & insecurity are normal. Just believe in destiny and keep going, says Aamna Sharif
New Post has been published on https://jordarnews.in/biginterview-breakdowns-insecurity-are-normal-just-believe-in-destiny-and-keep-going-says-aamna-sharif/
#BigInterview: Breakdowns & insecurity are normal. Just believe in destiny and keep going, says Aamna Sharif
Aamna Sharif is one of the most popular faces on the small screen. Aamna became a household name for her role in the prime time soap Kahin Toh Hoga where she played the role of Kashish. Aamna’s fan following for Kashish was so huge that she’s still remembered for that role. After TV Aamna also dabbled in movies like Aloo Chat and Ek Villain. But she could not recreate the fandom or popularity of the small screen. Aamna recently stepped in the shoes of another iconic character – the TV vamp Komolika. In our #BigInterview this week, Aamna shares her personal journey and her struggles in tinsel town. Here are excerpts from the chat.
How has the lockdown treated you? Initially lockdown was tough and very different, but with time, we got used to it. We got a lot of time to spend with the family. Everything got very innovative with cooking, exercising and the things they like to do. It also taught us to value a lot of things that we never did. Like the smaller aspects of life were always overlooked because of our busy schedule. I would also like to look at the positive side of it like I got a lot of time to spend with the family.
What did you do during the break? I did everything that I haven’t done for the longest time. From cooking to spending time with my son, I’ve utilised the break to the fullest. Normally, in our life we always have things to do at the back of our mind. For example, we are at home for limited time as we are working, so we are continuously thinking about the things we have to do. But during the lockdown one got to forget all the stuff and just be with family both mentally and physically. I also practice Yoga and meditation. The first thing it teaches you is that be in the moment right now. That is what we all got to do, just be in the moment. Living every moment, we did not have anything to run to or any agendas. My son always loves when I am around him. Whenever I am at home he just freaks out.
How difficult was it to go back to work during the pandemic? I was very scared till the day before, I had to go to shoot. It is a situation when you have been at home as the situation is not good outside. That is what we all practised for four-five months because we had to control the scenario for it to not spread further. So, you have mentally prepared that you have to be at home because it is a safe environment and suddenly after four-five months you have to step out because it was a prior commitment of mine and I had to fulfill it. I was very scared, skeptical, nervous, anxious, you can say everything. I had sleepless nights two days before I was going to head to shoot. But I understood that it was important also to fulfil our commitments, to go out there but not at the cost of your own and others safety. It is necessary to take all the precautionary measures and that has doubled the work what. Everything needs to be sanitised, you have to wear a mask all the time only when we are giving shots are we allowed to take it off. We had to sanitise all the products and places that we were using. In the beginning it was completely difficult and different from anything that you have ever done in your life.
One of your staff members and a co-star from Kasautii Zindagii had tested COVID positive. How difficult was that time for you? It takes a toll on you and not just me, it was my entire family who went through a different level of stress. I can’t even tell you the kind of stress level we all went through. I don’t think this left for 56 Nights because my staff member was staying with us in my house. We got to know after 5-6 days after I started shooting that he was covid positive, then we had to put him in a quarantaine centre. I think this is now a part of your life. You have to live with it and you can’t run away from it. At the same time, you can’t say I am not going to do this or I am not going to step out. After my staff member tested positive we had to quarantine ourselves and then there was a telecast issue the whole experience was a roller coaster ride. There was no other option then me shooting at home which I had never done in my life. Doing a photoshoot at home or just shooting yourself was easy but proper shoot and the content it aired on television was very difficult. It was a different ball game altogether from setting up the lighting to your makeup to your hair and sound. You have to do everything on your own and it was very difficult. But there was no option as there was a telecast issue.
Who helped you to shoot from home for KZK 2? Fortunately my husband is from the same profession, so he helped me. My sister came down to stay with us and she also helped me. I don’t think it would have been possible with me all by myself.
Do you take ratings and TRP pressure? No, not at all. I have never taken TRP pressure. What brings me a sense of contentment is that today I had a good day at work. That is all that matters to me as an actress.
Were you always inclined towards fitness? Yes, I was always inclined towards fitness. I used to go to the gym, do free hand exercises. But yoga has been a huge part of my life for almost three years now. I see the changes in myself. It has made a huge difference in not only the way I look, in also the way I feel.
Do you face the infamous mother’s guilt when you step out for work? Yes, I go through it everyday when I step out for work. I would tell myself initially that it would end in a month or two once I resume work. I think every mother goes through it. Especially, when they wake up and catch you before you leave for work. They come to you and give you a hug and say mamma please don’t go to work today. Your heart melts and you feel oh my God what I am doing? You just want to be back and I think every mother faces this in every profession.
How do you deal with it then? ‘Go work, come back home and spend time with them’ — this is what I keep telling myself.
From Kahin Toh Hoga to Kasautii Zindagii Kay when you look back at your journey, how do you feel? I wouldn’t want to change a single thing about my journey. I think I got the best launch ever that one can ever think of. My character from Kahiin Toh Hoga of Kashish is still popular, people still address me as Kashish. It is surprising and overwhelming at the same time and I am happy that I couldn’t have done a better role than Kashish. I have been fortunate enough to have done some great cinema. And I was the happiest playing Komolika.
Were you always open to do a negative role? When Ekta offered me the role of Komolika, my first reaction was what? Me, Komolika? Then I thought over it and I felt it would be a great challenge. I always wanted to do a negative role. My character from Ek Villain was not completely negative, Ritiesh was more negative. It was the first time I was playing a grey character and I loved that. I knew even then that if in future if I am offered a negative character, I would love to do it. I have always played sweet, romantic characters and as an actor I wanted to challenge myself. I wanted to try something different as I had never done those mean expressions, like Komolika’s. I immediately accepted the challenge as I thought this is the best thing I could ever do. Did you face struggle in the beginning or your journey was a smooth sailing one? I had my rough times also but fortunately I got Kashish in the beginning and it was destiny. Before I did Kahin Toh Hoga, I had done a few ads and was completely new. I had no idea how the industry functions. I didn’t do any acting courses also. I was in college, got the show and I went ahead with it. I was very bad as an actor, performer in the initial stages. But Ekta (Kapoor) was very patient with me and did workshops with me, as I had zero experience in acting and that’s how I started growing as an actor and everything started falling into place. So, that is how things started happening. Television obviously was not very easy and as I had no experience I had to work on myself.
Post that Aloo Chat was my debut and I got that film because of the popularity of Kashish. They saw me in the show and they thought I was perfect for the role. Post that it was very difficult as I didn’t have anyone in the industry to guide me. I didn’t even have a manager. So that was a difficult phase. It was a difficult phase because there were a lot of hurdles to find the right project and role which I recently experienced a year and a half ago when I planned to come back after my maternity break.
How did you deal with rejections and failure? You have your breakdowns and I think it is very normal. You feel insecure and you go through mixed emotions. You feel probably you are not going to make it, and since acting is all I have always done in my life, you start feeling like yit is all over now! But then at the same time you hope that you will get work… I am also a very spiritual person. So somewhere you need to find a balance so that it keeps you going. Just be positive and whatever is in your destiny will happen.
Was it difficult to get work after marriage and baby because of the preconceived notions in the industry? It was difficult because a lot of people think that ok she has delivered a baby, her career is over as she doesn’t want to work. Then there were projects which I didn’t want to do and that’s why it took so long to decide when I wanted to come back. It’s not been easy for me. Once I decided to get back to work, it took me at least two years to get the right project. People have this misconception, even after Ek Villain and especially after a baby. I actually met a couple of people who told me you have a baby now, so your career is over. They make you feel that. It shook me; I was surprised. I would say things will change eventually with time.
Did people from industry tell you that you will be only offered motherly roles? They put you in that bracket that if you have a baby now you can only play a mother’s role. I was offered a few projects like that. I would not say that it doesn’t happen. I don’t know why people go by preconceived notions.
Popular ideas for the best maternity photoshoot
Tumblr media
For some soon to be parents, a themed maternity photoshoot and baby shower are few of the best ways to rejoice and celebrate the beginnings of a new phase, with the newest addition to the family. Finding a suitable professional is not difficult, and one simply needs to search for “maternity photoshoot near me”, for comprehensive results.
Themes can be varied and creative as per the parents’ wishes. Some of the most popular ideas for maternity photoshoot in India are briefly discussed, although one can always opt for an out-of-the-box idea, which is yet to gain popularity or simply holds the significance of the couple.
One of the most popular methods of capturing unique and candid photos of this delicate time is by using different props. Although gender reveal is a common theme in many countries, in India, this is impossible due to the stringent laws by the governments. For the maternity photoshoot, however, the photographer can still play around with various props, without any gender biases, to create spontaneous and well-composed photos that can be framed for years. The maternity photoshoot India can be done in artificial light, indoors in a studio, home, or other indoor locations, or done in the natural light, outdoors, capturing the captivating pictures with the best light.
While many women opt to do the photoshoot for pregnancy alone, yet others’ opt for couples or family pictures to announce the newest addition to the family. For the maternity photoshoot for pregnancy in India, choosing the best photographer is crucial, and browsing through extensive portfolios and finding the best deal is also imperative for the best shoot.
Even Engagement Photos with your Dog can be epic.
Of course, Engagement Photos with your Dog could be alot of fun!. Above all, as Orlando Wedding Photographers, capturing True Love in Motion is our jam. Read the words of one of our brides.
“If you are looking for a wedding photographer, look no further. Because these are the only people you should consider. Words cannot even begin to describe it. Above all the amazing, wonderful, loving, stress-free experience we have had with Marjorie and Nick at Sophia’s Art Photography. Certainly I can truly say they make me and my husband feel like a part of their family. Especially when we are with them. Specifically, the best wedding advice I can say is don’t go ‘cheap and easy’ on your photographer.
Marjorie and Nick are worth every penny you pay. They will tell the whole story of your wedding. Certainly through the most beautiful and breath-taking photos. Also, trust me future brides, take it from someone who has been through it. Your wedding day will be a blur. As well as go by so fast you won’t believe it’s over when it’s over. But you will be able to relive it every time you look at the pictures that Marjorie and Nick take. I promise you, you will not be disappointed in this decision. If you don’t believe me, give them a call. Yust sit down with them. You’ll see what I mean.”
