honestly the anti izuku shit is so weird

ig i can understand him not being your favorite character but watching/reading a series where you absolutely despise the main character seems

i mean i read a fic once

it was a chat fic with kirishima x b@kug0u x ochako

and i don't want bkg to be near izuku but i don't mind him and think with the right writer he could be good

and kko is like my bkg otp

especially bc my 3rd fave izuku ship tddk was another ship tagged

and it was a chat fic which i've always found fun

but then the fic just felt so mean spirited to izuku

like

kko happened in a way that felt super ooc for kirishima and ochako

then when izuku called his mom while kko was over at their house (and he was at the dorms) all might picked up and apparently to izuku that he was "spending time with his favorite student"

which , wtf ? bkg is not all might's favorite

and then all might and inko get married and leave the country without telling izuku

and then to top it all off when todoroki went on a date with momo izuku acted petty, jealous, and like he didn't get straight relationships

and like even if someone did gay!izuku rather then bi!izuku or pan!izuku

the boy isn't that stupid, he absolutely understands het ships

and he wouldn't have been that judgmental

even if he was jealous of tdmm he would have been happy for todoroki bc momo would treat him right and izuku wants the ppl he cares about to be happy

My brain quite literally melted reading this. It is very anti Izuku and just makes me irritated because like... why? There's so much why here and you're right, Bakugou is not the fav but it sure seems like this writer wants him to be.

컴백주 모니터겸 앨범언박싱과 전체적인 활동 리뷰

일단 이번앨범　one of a kind 의 타이틀곡 갬블러와 전체적인 수록곡들 굉장히 좋은 바이브를 보여주는것을 확인할수있다 특히 타이틀곡 같은경우 뭐라고 정확히 얘기할수는없지만 안무와 노래 의상 이 삼박자와 맴버들의 열정과 노력 들이 가미가되어 굉장히 좋은 모습들과 무대들을 보여주고있고 실제로 성적도 굉장히 좋을것으로 예상이 된다. 한가지아쉬운점은 셔누라는 맴버가 컨디션 회복에있어서 활동을 못한다는점이 개인적으로 조금 아쉽지만서도 다른맴버들의 영향력이 그것을 덥고도 넘치는 무대와 모습들을 보여줘서 굉장히 개인적으로 뿌듯하고 멋있고 감동도있는 그런 컴백주를 보냈고 그런 앨범이 만들어진거같아서 극찬을 하고싶다. 오늘 합정동 사운드웨이브에서 앨범 한세트와 럭키드로우를 통한 포토카드를 get하였다. 앨범에있어서 의문점이 드는것은 주사위컨셉인데 왜 4까지있고 육종이 하기어렵다고는 생각이들지만 그럼 다른 4종에맞는 컨셉을 잡았어야 하지않나 ..라는 생각이드는 앨범인데 머 주사위라는 컨셉에있어서 중간지점을 억지로만든것이 아닌가 하는생각이든다...하지만 앨범을 열었을때 정말 꽉찬구성과 맴버들의 시크하면서도 각컨셉에마다다른 포토카드와 포스터 들이 한눈에 들어와서 몬베베는 행복하다. 하나하나 다른 색들과 스티커등 많은 구성품들이 약간의 재미를 주는거같다 ..첨해봐서 재밌는걸수도있다 나는 이전에 컨츄리꼬꼬 선배님과 조성모 선배님 앨범을 산적이있는데 대략한 이��년전이어서 이십년만에 새로운 경험을 한거같다. 무튼 굉장히 여러가지로 합이 잘맞는앨범인거같고 맴버들의 노고에 박수를 쳐주고싶다. 몬베베는 항상 사랑한다 보고싶다 오늘즐거웠다 이만후기모닛 마칠게요 (제아이디 말고 다른 아이디로 올릴려고 컨셉잡고 썻는데 제아이디로 로그인했네요 수정하기 힘들어서 급 노선변경합니다 . 사랑해요)

Comeback Week Monitoring, Album Unboxing and Overall Promotions Review

Firstly, I can guarantee that the title track, Gambler, and on the overall, all the tracks included on this one of a kind album show off a very good vibe. With regards to the title track in particular, I am unable to explain it precisely, but in addition to the triple beat with choreography and stage outfits, the members show an extremely good appearance and performance with their passion and hard work, and very good results can be expected. One regret is that their member, Shownu, is still recovering so he wasn’t able to promote and personally that was a bit regretful, but even so, with the member’s influence, they were able to cover for him and show an outstanding appearance and performance, hence personally I felt very satisfied and moved by the amazing comeback week and I want to praise them highly for producing such an album. Today I also went to Hongdae Soundwave to purchase a set of the albums and did the lucky draw to get photocards. Something questionable about the album though is that why is it up to 4 versions, and while it might have been hard to produce, shouldn’t the other 4 albums also have different concepts then.. that’s the thought the album gave off but well since there is a dice concept, it felt like they were probably forced to come to a middle ground for that… However, when I opened the album, it was filled with inserts and in once glance, I could see the member’s chic yet different photocards and posters for each concept so I (Monbebe) am happy. Each one has a different appeal, and having the stickers and other inserts seems to bring some fun to it.. It can be fun as it was the first time I did it. Before this, I’ve bought Country Kko Kko sunbaenim and Ju Sungmo’s albums before but that was about 20 years ago so I felt this was a new experience for me since then. Anyhow I think this was an album that fitted very well on many aspects and I want to applaud the members for their hard work. I (Monbebe) always love them and miss them and I had fun today. I’ll end my review here. (I wanted to post using a different ID instead of using my own fancafe ID so I could have the concept of doing a review but I ended up logging on with my own ID. It’s hard to edit it so I suddenly changed my mind. I love you.)

vent post tw suicidal thoughts, self-harm, alcohol and drug use (i’m ok, i’m safe, i’m not in crisis and i have people i can contact if that happens, nothing has happened and nothing is going to happen i’m just thinking about some things and wanted to put them somewhere besides my journal)

anyway tonight bible study was cancelled and my period’s coming so i didn’t take it too well, first i wanted to leave the country, then i wanted to get drunk/high, then i wanted to kill myself, then i wanted to hurt myself, and instead of doing any of those things i put on a/sh/ni/kko really loud and drew on my arm with sharpies and did a puzzle. overall a good outcome or whatever i guess. things that would make the several therapists i’m involved with happy. very dbt of me and all that. i’m thinking about it though and it;s like. this is going to be the rest of my life. honestly my shit isn’t that bad and maybe one day i won’t feel suicidal but maybe i’ll still feel suicidal sometimes for the rest of my life. and if i do, this is the rest of my life. just rolling with it, ���riding the wave” and doing something else until my head comes up from underwater. i imagined myself at 40 years old in the bedroom doing a puzzle while my spouse tells our baby that mommy needs some time by themself. i don’t know how i feel about that. i want to be angry, and desperate, and send myself into a spiral over it but i don’t feel that way. i do think that if i’m going to be suicidal for the rest of my life i should just get it over with now instead of wasting my time, but there’s no way to know if i’ll be suicidal for the rest of my life. it’s possible that one day will be the last day i want to kill myself. and there are days now that i almost want to be alive. i think. there are days that i am grateful to be alive. i’m so so tired of wanting to kill myself and the fact is that i have two options and they’re both hard. i’ve already committed to not killing myself for the next nine months and not hurting myself for the next year. i’m going to live, i’m supposed to, maybe one day i will want to, recovery is just so so so very very very hard. constant uphill battle. and lately i miss being really bad off, because i was so close to having an out. sometimes i wish i had done it when i had the chance because now i’m in this shit for the long haul. maybe someday i will not want an out.

Thoughts about Ruler: Master of the Mask, Final Verdict

It's done. It hasn't sunk into my mind yet, but it's really over.

I will do my best not to be a whiny bitch. Spoilers ahead!

Where do I begin? This drama is one of the few that I really sunk my teeth in, and it's over. I've waited for it ever since I've seen it in Dramabeans and Koala's Playground, and was even more drawn to it after seeing Yoo Seung Ho and Kim So Hyun being casted. It's not the perfect sageuk, not even the best (I'm biased. Six Flying Dragons is my favorite.), but looking back everything just came together. Watching it (and most likely rewatching parts of it) is like wrapping yourself in your blanket on a stormy day, with a mug of coffee at hand.

For a drama that waded through a mess in between, we received a strong finale that would remain in my mind for a long time. The manner by which they humanized Dae Mok by going to the root of his identity as a villain just broke my heart. He's one of the better villains who managed to make me cry so bad when he decided to take his life. He knew he had to die to give way to this new era (aside from the fact that his followers are all dead or imprisoned now). I liked how, to the end, he was an obstacle to the king -- figuratively and literally -- and how he was finally satisfied with the man our king has become. When he said, "I wish I had a king like you a little bit sooner", I was a sobbing mess. He and peasant Lee Sun are two faces of the same coin (I think everyone will agree with that), it so happened that the latter had people who repeatedly tried to pull him away from the dark side. I knew Hwa Goon's father will ask for Dae Mok's life to be spared, and it's just heartbreaking because in the end, family is family. The former would not forget that his father killed his daughter, but he is still his father. No matter how twisted Dae Mok's family is, they definitely gave color to the show.

Another heartbreaking character for me in the show was peasant Lee Sun. I would say that his death was something I anticipated (I was planning to write a fanfic about this, and I actually got his sacrifice and end right?), but it didn't hurt any less. In fact, I actually cried hard when it finally happened. Between the two second leads, I favored him more because I understand where he's coming from. He suffered just as much as the main leads, and he had every right to lash out. Of course, I hated him when he held hands with Dae Mok, but my heart still went out to him. The better thing that this show did was to give him an identity. He is King Lee Sun's friend, Ga Eun's person, Woo Bo's student, his mother's son, and Kko Mool's brother. He is also King Lee Sun's and Ga Eun's friend, and that made his death more heartbreaking. SUE THOSE FLASHBACKS I WAS HITTING THE COUCH CRAZILY WHEN THEY SHOWED IT  (TEARS EVERYWHERE). While the show failed to fully give life to their friendship, it stuck with me through every episode. (YSH, KSH, and L just look so adorable together when they were in their "teens". I love them all.) And for him to die by their side, ugh. Why in the world did they kill him? I have stopped questioning this while following the livestream posts on instagram last night, so I'm finally at peace with his death. I loved how, in the end, it was the three of them together. I love that he forgave himself for everything. Aww Lee Sun-ah.

Probably the person who proved herself this time is Ga Eun. I've been waiting for this all the time and YAS SLAY QUEEN. She proved herself to deserve to be queen in this episode. Thinking about it, she is the bravest character in the series, despite poor writing and characterization. She managed to make them believe that the antidote works by poisoning herself and taking the antidote (which almost gave the king a heart attack). Because she believes in King Lee Sun -- as a person and as a ruler -- she would rather take pains that she may or may not be capable of handling than to just stand there and watch. When she almost gave way because she was once engaged to peasant Lee Sun and the ministers were against her union with the rightful king, man, how brave and strong could she have been to walk away for the good of the people. Ga Eun knows that King Lee Sun is needed by the people and is capable of ruling over them, and she's rather have their happiness and her country's peace at the cost of her heart. (SUE THAT DAMN FLASHBACK AGAIN UGH TEARS GUYS TEARS) She met and loved the king in whatever form he took -- as the book seller, chief peddler, palace guard, and now king -- but she's willing to give up their future if it will be for the betterment of Joseon. Every inch, a queen, yes? Now that's a heroine I will root for. There are a million ways to write her character better. In whatever form, I will still root for her.

And our king. Wow, that was a damn long journey to return to his throne. In any other sageuk, his character wouldn't have survived for his very forgiving nature. Still, we have to give credit where credit is due. This king is for the people, after all. He is good, generous, and level-headed (except for his queen). He reminds me of some version of Tywin Lannister with Joanna as his weakness. (I will keep my eyes shut about how irrational he had been when he placed Ga Eun first but then again she is his salvation so I will stop being salty. It doesn't hurt that I ship them.) King Lee Sun knew that every man has a tendency to be a Dae Mok, and I would always salute to him for never giving up the fight for those at the brink of it. I salute to him for being with his people, lending himself in whatever capacity he could so they could be back on their own feet. He knew he needed someone to guide him so he wouldn't step out of the line in the form of his queen. The last episode showed the he would really lose it should anything bad happen to her. In the end, King Lee Sun is just a man who would always go after his own heart. It makes sense that he ends with Ga Eun because the latter would always put the people before her, and that would strike a balance during their reign. As a lover, ugh, how could one resist this king? I was shamelessly sobbing when he proposed. Finally, the sun and moon became one. DAMN IT <3 <3 <3 It really didn't help that YSH always gives KSH that look (on screen or off screen) BAH STOP IT MY FEELINGS!!!

The final scene must be one of the more powerful finales I've watched. I like how the people who sacrificed their lives -- Ga Eun's father, Hwa Goon, and Lee Sun -- were there in spirit to witness their successes. (It is fitting that the late King wasn't there because he brought this mess to everyone in the first place.) I like how it wasn't simply about Ga Eun being queen, but being King Lee Sun's wife (I don't think "to be with me forever" is in any marital speech in Joseon). And that look of contentment in everyone's faces -- especially the king and queen -- just had me smiling so big and clapping so proudly. Ahh, I will always remember that scene fondly.

For all it faults, I did enjoy watching RMOTM. It has its hits and misses. Still, poor writing and characterization is one thing, stellar acting is another. I stuck with the show for numerous reasons, mainly because of YSH and KSH. And the chemistry, well, what's not to love? Shyshy couple all the way! <3

What are some of your favourite K-pop and or J-pop bands? I recently got into Orange Caramel and I always used to love Girls Generation. Also G Dragon is really cool >.>

I was never into Japanese music. I was like an ironic fan of Johnny's Jrs because I didn't like any of the music but it's always been a fucking circus. 54-71 is the only Japanese band I was actually a fan of.

I was into Kpop/rock for years so there is a lot and I left the fandom before Girls Generation came out so I don't really know any of the bands from that generation, pun not intended
