"I don't know what to do."
Calista let a sigh leave her as she faced the other. "All I know is that Jirall won't stop pursuing me - I don't want that man in my life." Let alone as my husband.
There were murmurings that her uncle planned to have her engaged to Zael, assuming he did well in the current war against the Gurak, and to break off the current engagement she had to Lord Jirall. And though she admired Zael, she also feared that her uncle was simply using his affections for her to gain further power. After all, Zael had special powers, too. Ones that would certainly bring much prosperity to Lazulis in wartimes...

Usopp would be a pearl
Mostly because of the noise
Luffy a spinel
Controversial opinion but Nami deserves to be a diamond (usopp is her pearl)
Nope, yep, yep, check out @where-does-the-heart-lie 's gem au if u want a more put together au but here are my takes:
Luffy's a spinel and Garp took him in because spinel's are some of the toughest rocks in the verse but gems brush them off because they're too silly to be soldiers, also because stretchy
Zoro's a quartz (Vermarine, the green kind) but he was stronger than all the other vermarines in his kindergarten so he dipped because he wasn't interested in any of them or any superior
Nami's a diamond but she doesn't know it because her mother was a human that found her after she emerged overcooked in a kindergarten abandoned after a war. She isn't sure what rock she is but her mother always just said she was a tough one.
Usopp's a Peridot - an overcooked one that's more lanky and less willing to be subservient but still very inventive.
Sanji's a pearl - one of the specially cultivated battle pearls, though he emerged early and was shorter and thinner than his brothers and sister. His kindergartner/father didn't have the guts to shatter him so Sanji ran away. As far as regular pearls go, he would be completely normal if it weren't for his attitude
Chopper's a labradorite because it's his nose, it's blue and it's the only Canadian-discovered gem I know off the top of my head. He's supposed to evaluate terrestrial species based on danger to a kindergarten and wipe out species that could harm a kindergarten, but he likes them too much. He shapeshifts a lot like most labradorites to to fit in smaller spaces or take down larger species, but he does it more to fit with his emotions
Robin's an amathest that was too smart for her own good and ran away to join a human colony for a few hundred years and learned from them, but then her colony got slaughtered and she got chipped, so now she has too many arms and chronic pain
Franky is a bismuth because it's just. So him.
Brook is a fusion of a couple hundred pebbles, he won't unfuse for anything, but he's a little crazy because his mind is kind of like a bee hive.
Jimbe is a lapis lazuli that was way overcooked and took a lot extra out of the earth than he was supposed to. He feels bad abt this, but it made him wise and also very large for a lapis (he's probably 3 lapis's actually but he thinks like only 1 so he doesn't think it counts)

What all muses did you have over on Twitter?
Oof. Last count was 101. I was active there for a long time and always hated the trend of "Flipping" Accounts to other people, once the muse was down...I just made a new Account then.
Mind you, I wasn't always active on all, I always had a certain set I was active on at the time, and others I used, when the occasion was there. Found a post of a Mario walking around New Donk City? Hey, I have a Pauline, right, let's just reply to him with her!
The ones I brought over for now are my Kefla, Daisy, Green (from Pokemon, the girl) and Frye. I could have brought my Lazuli (Android 18), Rika or Orange (Inkling Girl), but I wanted only one Account per verse for now. Besides them I have Wolverine (Laura Kinney), Princess Zelda, Linkle, a couple of Inkling OCs, and, and and...

Yandere Lost Boys Drabble (3rd Place Prize)
Word count ; 2.0k
*Edited.
*Dedicated to @lazuli-leenabride! Hope you enjoyed and hope it was worth the couple days of waiting!
As Laddie trailed after the young woman, the group’s interest had been peaked. Never had the young child wandered off so willingly. And yet, he was glued to the woman’s side. It made the boys wonder what had caught his attention. Was it something she said? Was it the scent of her blood? Was it the way she walked or talked?
Dwayne was always the resident babysitter for the kid, and that meant he was quick to trail behind. David wanted nothing more than to watch from a distance, trusting that his brothers would make sure Laddie didn’t get into too much trouble. Marko wanted nothing more than to walk right up to the woman, but Paul insisted that they watch for a minute or two before approaching.
Y/n, on the other hand, was completely baffled by the boy’s appearance. At first, she had peered around in hopes of a family was hopelessly looking for the kid. But, it was in vain. Y/n cared, but after she realized that the young boy seemingly decided to attach himself to her hip, she thought to have fun with it.
She patted his head affectionately. “Anything ya lookin’ to do, kiddo? I ain’t got nothin’ to do for a while until your parents show up, so…”
Laddie giggled and shook his head. He had grasped her jacket tightly, peering over his shoulder. He waved, and as Y/n swerved to see to who, she didn’t see anyone waving back. All except for a pair of boys, both blonde and impish, from the distance. They kept nudging one another eagerly and she was confused. They had no such resemblance to the kid, but there was an air to familiarity.
“Are they your, uh, brothers, kiddo?” Y/n asked in confusion.
“A little,” he answered.
“A little,” Y/n parroted. “Well, uh, I have a couple of dollars to spare. What do you say that we play some games, huh? Got one in mind?”
Laddie turned away again. Y/n glanced back, only to realize that the pair of boys had seemingly vanished or blended into the crowd. However, as she surveyed further, she spotted someone else. A man who radiated ‘dark horse’ energy was leaning against one of the concession stands. Even when they made eye contact, he didn’t look away. He had his arms crossed and some of his gorgeous dark hair fell in front of his expression.
Y/n’s attention was stolen as Laddie began tugging on her arm energetically. She was dragged away and Y/n couldn’t help but smile. He led the young woman toward a stand where one shot b.b. gun bullets at balloons and had to get a certain amount and color to win a prize. The kid was quiet, but bouncing with excitement, giving Y/n pleading eyes.
“Lookin’ to play?” the man running the booth offered. “Hit ten of the balloons you get some of those prizes. Twenty plus, some of those. Thirty - which is nearly impossible, mind you - you get one of those big guys over there.” He motioned to the hanging five-foot stuffed animals.
Laddie gasped and pointed at them. Y/n wasn’t the most well-versed with guns, but she couldn’t help but melt. The little boy was very cute and very persuasive. She fished through her pockets and pulled out the required change. “Uh, here. I guess I’m going for the big money.”
Laddie gasped and separated. He clapped his hands quietly as the man readied the gun and handed it to her. Y/n felt oddly pressured. It was just some random lost child, but here she was, trying to show off. She began shooting. The gun itself had no more than forty bullets, and she began to be nervous when she missed the first few shots barely.
And then, she started hitting them.
Pop, pop, pop.
One by one, the bullets pierced the thin rubber. She sort of crowd was forming, eager children wanting to go next. Because, if the seasoned adult was doing this well, it couldn’t possibly be that hard, right?
And then, she just needed two more. She focused and cocked the gun. She aimed it at a balloon. Just two more. Even the man was getting uneasy. He clearly tried his best to rig the game, not wanting to relinquish the most expensive of the prizes.
Pop.
One last bullet.
Y/n steeled herself. One bullet needed and the tiny child would be satisfied with some big bear.
And she shot.
Pop.
Y/n stood up and dropped the gun. It was oddly stressful. Laddie grabbed Y/n’s waist while jumping excitedly. The man, although he was smiling, didn’t seem too happy. “Well then, it looks like we have a winner! Which one’s the apple of your eye, kid?”
Laddie pursed his lips. Y/n crouched down to be at his height, nudging him slightly. “All your’s, kiddo.”
Laddie pointed at a large, fluffy dog. It was white and was almost as tall as Y/n herself. She chuckled as the man took it down and slid it over the counter. Laddie struggled to get it all, but he very stubbornly dragged it off, not wanting to give up the stuffed animal.
They pulled themselves away from the stand. Laddie looked so proud. “Hey, kiddo, what’re ya gonna name it?”
“Uh-h-h, Tractor.”
“Tractor?”
“Yeah, Tractor.”
“Huh. That name’s pretty bitchin’, lil buddy,” Y/n agreed, ruffling his hair affectionately once more.
“The kid’s got a creative head on his shoulders, doesn’t he?”
Y/n’s attention turned to a total stranger. He had spiked, bleached blonde hair. Standing beside him was the same pair from earlier and the dark horse. She gasped quietly, taken aback. They certainly didn’t look like the stereotypical family or guardians, but Laddie made grabby hands and shoved Tractor toward one of the blonde ones.
“Uh, yeah. Are you guys, like, his brothers?”
The one with curly blonde hair tilted his head, introducing,” I’m Marko. This is David, Paul, and Dwayne. And yeah, you could say that.”
Paul took the stuffed animal from his grasp. Dwayne’s arms looped down to pick the boy up, muttering that it ‘was time to go home,’ but Laddie shook his head stubbornly and hid behind the woman. Y/n sighed in amusement, glancing between the group and the kid.
“Nice to meet you… I’m sorry that the kiddo ran off like that. Didn’t know where to bring him to find his family.”
Laddie had balls of her skirt in his fists and shook his head. Y/n felt it against his waist. Paul snickered boyishly,” Laddie isn’t usually clingy. He’s a pretty shy kid. He got it from Dwayne, I bet.”
Dwayne’s only acknowledgement of that statement was a frown as he shrunk away. Everyone was staring at the young woman so intently, and it couldn’t help but make her anxious. David continued,” Ya know, he seems like he ain’t planning to detach anytime soon. If you want you can come back to our place. We got a nice, cozy hideout.”
Y/n was wary. Although Laddie was nodding eagerly, not relinquishing his hold on the woman, they were still total strangers to her. However, Y/n tilted her head. “Oh, fuck it. I don't see why not.”
“Ay,” Paul exclaimed while Marko patted Y/n’s back. Laddie finally allowed Dwayne to pick him up. David was somehow stuck with Tractor, but he didn’t seem to mind. Y/n allowed herself to be led away from the concessions to the entrance of the theme park. There were motorcycles parked , four in a line.
“So, where we headin’?” Y/n inquired curiously, hopping onto Marko’s motorcycle after a brotherly spat between him and Paul about ‘who got to give the pretty little lady a ride.’ “I’m not being human-trafficked, eh?”
“Nope,” David insisted. “We had this pad down by the cliffside. An old, collapsed hotel. It’s real cozy and it’s all our’s.”
The motorcycles started up. Y/n grasped tightly to Marko’s waist. Dwayne had sat Laddie behind him, and the young boy waved to her excitedly. There was something so very odd about the group, but Y/n brushed it off. They started off, hollering and whooping loudly.
They took off down the stairs and ended up on the beach. Y/n gasped out of shock, only making the group burst into boisterous laughter. A blush burned at her cheeks. Even Laddie seemed used to the vaguely dangerous stunt. Their machinery roared down the beach at top speed.
There were many families and parties being held. They dodged each one with precision and skill. Even Y/n found it exhilarating, laughing loudly. When they made it to the end of the beach, the rolled over grassy mountain sides. It became fairly foggy as they drove, but all at once, they came to a screeching halt.
“Welcome to our humble abode, lady,” David proclaimed allowing his bike to fall to the ground.
Y/n’s legs were fairly numb and she struggled, but Wayne offered her a hand and helped her over. Laddie immediately reattached himself to the young woman, which made her chuckle fondly. The others piled off their vehicles.
Marko eagerly motioned for her to follow. Along the cliff side, there was a large hole. Y/n was consumed with astonishment. The entire place had caved in, an entire ecosystem down below. Y/n was in complete and utter awe, and the boys couldn’t help but feel rather proud of themselves.
“Woah. This place ’s sketchy as hell but super badass,” Y/n commented.
Laddie pulled her deeper into the cave. David piped up,” You’re one of us now, Y/n.”
“Plain and simple as that!” Paul exclaimed.
The stuffed animal had been admonished to a junk pile that used to be a fountain. It was a dusty place, but oddly homely. A few candles were lit and Y/n shivered ever so slightly, even in her jacket. She hugged herself, eyes still flitting around in wonder.
“Here,” Dwayne suddenly spoke from beside her.
Y/n didn’t even get the chance to turn as he unrobed from his leather jacket and plopped it around her shoulders. A blush burned at her cheeks from the attention she was receiving from four very handsome young men, and she accepted it gratefully.
“Thanks.”
Dwayne nodded. Her attention was drawn to Marko and Paul, who were going completely buck-wild. They started hollering and jumping around, clambering on various mountains of rubble. David laughed, pulling up beside me. Even Dwayne joined in, chasing after them. Y/n couldn’t help but smile, because it was immature, but it was fun and free.
“You’ll fit in just right around here, Y/n,” David hummed happily.
Y/n was caught off guard, quirking a brow in realization. She didn’t recall ever mentioning her name. “How… did you know my name? I don’t remember telling you earlier.”
David shrugged. “You told us.”
She brushed it off, returning her gaze to the utter chaos. David left her side while Laddie went over to Dwayne. That left her standing there in bafflement. And yet, even if there was something off about them all, they exuded friendliness.
Y/n figured that she’d get along well with her new friends. That couple of quarters spent on children’s games bought more bang for her buck than she originally intended, but she was hardly complaining. She recited their names in their head as David returned with a wine bottle, offering her a swig.
“Go ahead. Join us, Y/n.”

Hello, wild ones! I’m Mako, a druid and home witch (which is what I call my blend of green and kitchen witchcraft) and a follower of the Gaulish pantheon and culture. I’m French, I identify as agender (they/them) and I have a physical disability that severely impacts my walking. I frequently use crutches, as well as a wheelchair, I take strong painkillers and medical morphine to manage the chronic pain that comes with the territory and I’m bedridden several times a month. All of that has an impact on my practice and that’s why I’m well-versed in pain spells and rituals, as well as studying herbalism and beginning to work as a natural healer, because I know debilitating pain all too well.
I follow the traditions and knowledge of my country and the witches of my community. I have so much to learn still, and I want to share French witchcraft practices with the rest of the world and bring a piece of the world back into my practice. I hope you’ll follow along with me. I thought, to start things out, I’d fill a few questions from the Witchy Tag and tag a few of my favorite tumblr witches so you can get to know me and hopefully I can meet a few of you this way!
If you’d like to find me elsewhere, I’m The Gallic Witch everywhere. I have an Instagram for daily practices, rituals and the like, a TikTok for more specific magickal projects and herbalism, and a youtube channel where I share in depth rituals and spells, talk about the Gaulish culture and deities, discuss the community here in France and what I’ve been taught, etc. I also have an Instagram for the Gaulish-inspired tarot deck I’m creating, the Tarot of Belisama, which you can find here as I share sneak-peeks and cards as I draw them. I hope to see you there soon! BELISAMA BLESS YOU ✨
1. what kind of witch are you?
I am a home witch, mainly, which is what I call being both a green witch and a kitchen witch. In a way, I suppose I’m mostly a French witch, given that my craft and practice is heavily influenced by local tradition and knowledge.
But in my daily practice, I follow the Druidic Path and I’m working with the Gaulish way of life and beliefs.
2. how did you discover your path?
My grandmother was a botanist, so when I was little, she would take my sister and me on long hikes and show us all the plants, one by one, teaching us the latin names and their medical properties. I took to it instantly, but distanced myself when she passed away in a misguided attempt at healing. I grew up around women in my community who would brew herbal remedies, cook you a cream or a poultrice for your break outs or your sprained ankle, people who could take away the fire from a burn or long day in the sun just with a hovering of the hand. Little by little, I learned from them, learned the way of the French witches who work for the community and not for themselves. I admired them, still do, but never thought I could be one of them, as what I was being initiated in was much closer to herbalism and being a Druid than a witch. Then I found Annie’s youtube channel, THE GREEN WITCH, and I just watched and watched, without being able to stop. I felt such a connection with her videos and her path, so I did my research, and finally started seriously studying magic, for about a year, before I even dared calling myself a witch. I wanted to have the knowledge to back that up, you know? And two years after, here I am, with knowledge and some more confident, branching out from my Druidic path and adding witchcraft to my practice for a year now!
3. how long have you been practicing?
If you count the Druidic/herbalism stuff, for roughly half of my life, so like then years, but witchcraft proper, two years.
4. what path/tradition do you follow?
Druidic teachings and Gaulish tradition/deities & French witchcraft, mainly herbalism. I consider myself a healer and a Druid even before being a witch. I want to make a living out of healing people. I follow the tradition of rural France, somewhere between the communities of the Black Mountain, the land Corbières-Minervois and Burgundy.
5. are you solitary or do you have a coven?
Currently solitary but I hope to find and join a Druidic circle one day.
7. do/would you teach and practice witchcraft to your children?
I don’t want children, but on principle, yes, absolutely. I think it’s an essential part of teaching them about the world and giving them the tools to be self-sufficient and healers too.
8. do you have a patron/matron deity?
I don’t use the words patron and matron because they don’t represent or apply to my believes, but purely from their meaning, they would be Belisama, Epona and Brig (or Brigid, she has different names depending on the Celtic nation you’re a part of).
9. favorite pantheon?
Egyptian. All the way. But it’s more of a remnant of childhood than what my faith aligns with today.
10. favorite goddess?
Hard one. Either Epona or Damona from the Gaulish pantheon or 嫦娥.
11. favorite god?
Thot, the scribe from the Egyptian.
12 and 13 are skipped since I don’t believe in astrology.
15. thoughts on the afterlife?
I believe in reincarnation like all Gauls but I don’t believe in Heaven or an afterlife as in, a place you end up after your life.
17. are you out of the broom closet? if so, how do your friends/family feel about your path?
I hate that expression with a passion. I’m LGBTQ+, and I find it incredibly offensive. In regards to the question itself, my family and friends do know I practice witchcraft, and no one cares. My sister and friends are very supportive, they actively want my opinion or my help depending on the circumstances. My mom finds it interesting, but she’s more into me being a healer, since my grandmother was her mom. She helps a lot with the herbalism side, and teaches me things and we do our mixes together. Even my dad who’s not interested, drinks my herbal teas and doesn’t mind me putting talismans and protection charms all over our home, smudging and doing spells and rituals.
19. do you have an altar?
I do, yes. Not just one, in fact. I have a main one for spells and rituals and just, general practice. I have one for my Ancestors and deities. And I have a portable one that I use to mix my herbal teas and make my remedies, as well as do divination.
20. what’s a spell that you’ve done?
Lately? A money spell for my mom.
22. favorite pagan holiday that you celebrate?
I love Chandeleur, the French version of Imbolc. And because spring is my favorite season and the best time of the year for me mentally and physically, I also adore Beltane.
26. favorite witch websites?
Absolutely WITCH UNIVERSITY. I learned a lot of things there. Also Wildera, a fellow French pagan. And I follow a lot of witches and celtic pagans on tumblr and tiktok, learning a lot from them.
29. favorite season?
Spring and Winter, in equal parts.
30. favorite herb?
Lavender. Or maybe rosemary.
31. favorite gem?
Amethyst. And lapis-lazuli.
38. your grimoire.
The original question was about a book of shadow but I’m not a wiccan and I don’t use that term, so here’s my grimoire. I handmade it, from stitching the pages to crafting the cover, bookmark and decorations. I love it, I put so much intention and love into it.
39. your tarot deck(s) (or one you want).
The first picture is of my first tarot deck and still my favourite, the Dishonored deck. It’s the one I use the most, still.
The second is the Prism Tarot, which is the last deck I bought (now four decks in total) and has been a project I’ve followed since it was still being drawn, up to supporting the kickstarter and becoming good friends with the creator, Liz, as I started making my own tarot deck. I highly recommend it, it’s an amazing piece of a art and an amazing magickal tool.
And I’m gonna tag some of my favourite tumblr witches in case they haven’t done this before: @heatherwitch @grandmaveitch @gardenfoxywitch @herbwicc @greenwitchofwonderland @a-green-witch @boiledwheatblog @thatsunflowerwitch @kitchenwitchtingss @queerkitchenwitch @coffeewitchcafe @servantofthefates

@mystizismus › jade › [ Tizita ] (Amharic) - A bittersweet remembrance and longing for a time, person, thing gone by. › untranslatable starters ( accepting )
they’ve been talking on the phone for almost an hour, though that’s got nothing to say, and lazuli’s gotten to hear all about jade’s life and projects and how she’s been doing superficially, and jade’s gotten to her lazuli’s spiel. the thing she does when anyone’s asking her what she’s been up to, the itinerary of fun and excess and exclusivity — how she loves connecting with people ( who she is all barely acquainted with, a hundred clues and pictures in her phone to make her remember which number belongs to whom ), how nice the beaches are here ( that she barely remembers except for the sunburns and the sand in her hair, because she and everyone else is passing out before sundown ), how she’s feeling so free and unbound ( untether, ungrounded, drifting and floating away from who she used to be and what she stood for, losing sight of everything she loves ). because it’s jade, and because she’s lazuli, she sprinkles in a few jadeisms, things she’s going to like, that’ll make her think that lazuli is having the best of times. i met that one guy, you know, everyone’s teen idol! he was kind of a bore; you should see the infinity pool, wait i’ll send you a pic, isn’t the view so stunning?; everyone here is so hot, honestly i feel out of place. no stop, you know what i mean, i’m not refined like you. they’re like fancy-fancy. she’s a one-girl-show for one of her oldest friends, of the ones she’s managed to keep. she’s glad that she can’t see jade’s face, at least, see her look like she know she’s lying. let her have this. let her pretend that everything’s better now. like she’s got everyone fooled but herself.
at last, the shallow chitchat trickles out, the conversation tiring out, too many okays countered with okays and you just know they’re both eyeing the red button on their screens to give them the relief and emptiness of finally being done pretending. that’s when lazuli bursts out, in her lazuli way, her tone butterflies as if her words carried no weight at all: “ i got our lyric tattooed. ” by ours she really means theirs: lazuli’s words have never flown together as beautiful as jade’s, as effortless as rose’s, as meaningful as mauve’s; she can’t contribute more than scraps that hang ugly off some older verses until she realized and stopped pitching them. “ on my ribcage. by the triceratops. ” she laughs, because she doesn’t know if jade remembers, but the dinosaur is one of lazuli’s tour-tattoos, one of many, many best-worst-time-tattoos. how fitting. “ at least we look up at the same stars, ” she quotes it casually, like it may mean something to somebody else, but not to them, only everything to them. “ it’s kind of dumb, considering the sky looks different depending on the location and time of year. unless you count the sun, but you wouldn’t be looking at the sun at all, ideally. ”

Get to Know “Me”: OC Edition
I got tagged by @merigreenleaf over the weekend to do this tag, but work was hell so it had to wait until today. c: I wasn’t sure who to do so I kinda wrote one of each of the main three for Icarus at Midnight. I’ll probably post Thyme and Kingcup’s later on but for now, let’s do the main kiddo~ <3
Name: Oleander Wormwood. It’s his current name but he’s had other ones too.
Nickname: Sometimes he’ll get Oly or Ols, but mostly it’s just Olea. He had the nickname of 'Little Moth' too once upon a time but it got dropped from the story. ^^;;
Gender: Nonbinary, specifically agender. Olea doesn't really feel any solid attachment to his own gender. He mostly sticks to male pronouns out of apathy, but any are fine by him.
Height: He's like five five, typically.
Orientation: Pansexual
Hogwarts House: Slytherin bby. He's both the clever cunning self-determined chessmaster Slytherin stereotype and the ill-thought out ambitions of Slytherin stereotype of Tumblr infamy. It's always a good time with Oleander.
Nationality: Ah. Hard to answer because I'm still planning out the world in terms of countries and borders and Olea has moved a lot & only recently settled down in Dead Leaves. I'll say instead that he's witch-blooded and a child of the Inbetween though. c:
Favorite Fruit: Despite his love for fried mozzarella anything, Oleander isn't big on most foods honestly, fruits or otherwise. He'll eat them when they're in his line of vision but he doesn't have much of a preference (though he kinda learns to like apples later on because his boyfriend sorta loves them dearly and Olea is bit of a sponge at times???)
Favorite Flower: Do those freaky bleeding mushrooms count? 'cause he likes those. They're fun~
Favorite Season: Summer. He likes the sticky heat it brings.
Favorite Scent: Anything really harsh like gasoline, sharpie markers and marigolds.
Coffee, Tea, or Hot Chocolate: Coffee, iced. He'll drink the other two without any fuss too, but he prefers his iced coffee. It's a habit and a comfort at this point.
Average Hours of Sleep: Har har. Who needs sleep, honestly??
Dog or Cat Person: Personality-wise, he’s more of cat. Pet-wise, I don’t think he’d care either way. All dogs and cats have their good points and bad and both are lovable in their own ways. He’s also not much a pet people anyways, so.
Favorite Fictional Character: Oleander hasn't had much a chance of explore culture in any meaningful way, so I'm not sure he'd have a favorite at the moment. He struggles to relate to things at time. But!! He likes Persephone from Greek Mythology a fair bit. And if Steven Universe existed in their 'verse in any form, Lapis Lazuli would be his favorite. Hands down. :’l <3
Number of Blankets They Sleep With: All of blankets, he likes to cocoon himself in them. Even in the summer. o__o;;
Dream Trip: He'd love to go back to Iceland (or their world's country equivalent). It's where he was born and he really wants to see it again some day. But it requires facing some of his personal demons so who knows if it’ll happen.
Random Fact: Oleander is mildly aquaphobic. He doesn't mind getting wet where it's on his terms, but he refuses to be near anything water-related around other people. Even if it's like lightly raining, he has trouble leaving his house because the level of ‘nope nope nope’ that runs through his veins.
On a happier random fact, he also really enjoys kitschy junk. Just, is it awful? Is it ugly? Is it useless? If yes, then Oleander loves it and probably wants ten for his room. Just saying.
#thank you!#i've been dying to finish this all weekend so yay#i was gonna start with thyme but idk#starting with the main kid seems like a better idea. c:#icarus at midnight#oleander wormwood

Vote time!
Alright here it is I'm gonna do it! One of these four stories is going to start soon and I just cannot decide which one to do. 1. Kastra-verse: This story follows the main character Matilda as she tries to prevent Kastra from doing Evil Villain Kastra things. Joined by a small group that also wants to stop her, they try to figure out how they can go about preventing the end of the world as we know it. Or just a string of petty robberies. No one really knows what she's planning. 2. Spirited: A world where people become ghosts and get to stick around for a few hundred years after they die. Ariel and Natasha, joined with a few other friends, investigate haunted places and make ghost friends while trying to stop an unspeakable evil. 3. Wizard World (more clever name soon): Rissa's bar is a famous resting spot for magical and non-magical creatures who want a break from the troubles of their everyday life. Lainee develops magical familiars for wizards. Lazuli performs magical water shows for anyone who wants to walk in the front door. Margaret makes sure the weather doesn't go nuts on everyone all the time due to magical interference. Skunk...well no one knows what she does. But they all know one thing, Ancient Wizards are the worst. 4. Villain School: Charlie is the headmaster of an infamous school for villains, teaching young teens how to hone their abilities to benefit themselves. But when Savannah arrives, trouble soon follows and Charlie figures out pretty quickly who the "main character" of this year's students is. Alright so those are quick summaries on each of the stories, please reblog with any votes you want to give! I'm gonna stop counting them on the 17th so I still have time to prepare but yeah I'd appreciate as many votes as possible!!!
#make announcements short and sweet they are boring boring boring everybody's snoring#I went through all my universes and honestly these four were the only ones I would be able to do a story for right now#the others are either fandom aus ones that don't have fully developed characters or ones that don't have a fully developed world#so yeah these are the best options for me rn pls pls pls vote!!!

“Oh please pearl, dont be absurd” Rose sneered, making the smaller gem remorse her recent words.
“You are nothing more than my servant, a disgrace to my empire, undeniably.”
“B-but m-my alpha, yo-you dont underst-“ Pearl was cut short of her words
“Silence! Do not speak unless spoken to.” The higher ranked alpha snapped back at the omega.
The sound of metal scraping against the stone walls made Pearl flinch
“You are pitiful, I should have left you out on streets, atleast their you would correlate.” Rose turned her head to face pearl.
“Soon, all of this will be the former, and I will once and for all reign over every piece of empire on this downcast you call, Homeworld. I shall have everybody bowing to my feet.” Rose smirked at the though.
Pearl collapsed onto her knees and started to stream tears.
The countless gems and humans that counted on her to stop this hostillity. She let her friends down, her family, Steven.. She treated him as her own kit even though she knew that he wasent. Steven was only just a pup when she took him in. Poor thing was all dirty and mal-nurished.

Calista and Kazvrall ; our guard and princess au uwu?
“Kazvrall—I want to go out to Stargazers’ tower. It’s just at the outskirts of the castle city, and it’s not too far...could we, possibly?” She knew that her uncle wanted her to be protected, but she wasn’t some damsel in distress! And besides, she’d been stuck in this castle for who knows how long.
There just came the matter of persuading her own assigned bodyguard to help sneak her out of here!
“It’s just a short trip, and then we’ll go straight back, I promise!” She pleaded, trying to give him an innocent, wide-eyed look in hopes of it helping. “Please?”

unakite, lapis lazuli, bloodstone
send me a crystal and i’ll tell…
unakite: what my muse's ideal pet would be
Answered!
lapis lazuli: where 'home' is to my muse
As a wanderer, as a boy who has left more cities burning behind him than he cares to count, as someone who has never truly had a place to call home, no matter the verse, no matter his circumstances, Kuja will always call his brother Neirin his first and truest home.
bloodstone: how my muse sees themself as part of the world at large
He sees himself as somewhat apart from it - he doesn’t consider himself to be a player in major events, doesn’t think his presence changes anything (other than, perhaps, keeping Neirin alive). He considers himself unimportant and expendable, something easily sacrificed should the need arise. Kuja doesn’t consider himself to be a part of the world at large. At times he scarcely recognize himself as a person with wants and needs of his own.

iolite, jade, kyanite, lapis lazuli, if youre still accepting? =D
iolite: my muse’s drinking habits
When by herself Ariana is a casual drinker, with either a mixed drink or a glass of wine to go along with her dinner and a second drink afterwards to sip while she winds down for the evening. Ariana drinks more when with others since she’s really a social drinker. In these cases she’ll usually drink to the point of getting a light buzz (or drunk), but she avoids drinking to the point of being completely wasted.
jade: if my muse would ever cheat on a partner
I don’t think Ariana would cheat. One of her defining traits is her loyalty, and this loyalty extends into her personal relationships. She’d be fine with an open relationship if it’s agreed on, but if there’s no agreement she won’t cheat and she won’t take kindly to being cheated on.
kyanite: an anger headcanon
Ariana’s anger is like a steaming kettle. You’ll know she’s upset. She’ll sit there steaming until she raises her voice and yells, but it’s very unlikely she’ll resort to blows. If she does it’ll be a well placed slap or pulling the person by the ear while she hisses at them.
lapis lazuli: where ‘home’ is to my muse
Currently? Ariana doesn’t really have a place to call “home.” To her, the concept of home is very much dependent on the aspect of family. She has her parents that she visits on occasion, and that is a home to her but it’s a home she’s supposed to have moved on from in a sense. She has yet to settle into her own home with someone.
In the verse where she’s Silver’s mom, if she could get Silver to stay with her again that would be enough for her to call a place “home.” To have her son have a safe place that he could return to and also call home is the most important thing to her. It doesn’t matter if Giovanni is in that picture or not.
…Honestly the Silver thing counts regardless if she’s his mom or not. That’s just how she is towards him. She’s always going to be a mom to him even if she’s not The Mom.

THE Sutra Of Golden Light CHAPTER 1 TO 3
The King of Glorious Sutras called the Exalted Sublime Golden Light A Mahayana Sutra In the language of India: Ārya Suvarõaprabhàsottamasåtrendraràjamahàyànasåtra In the language of Tibet: phag pa ser ö dam pa do de’i wang po’i gyäl po she ja wa theg pa chen po’i do Chapter 1 The Chapter on the Preamble to the King of Glorious Sutras, the Sublime Golden Light Homage to all past, future and present buddhas, bodhisattvas, pratyekabuddhas and shravakas! Thus I have heard at one time: The Tathagata, entering buddhas’ domain Of experience, the profound sphere of reality, At Vulture Peak expounded To the supreme bodhisattvas, Who were pure and stainless, This King of Glorious Sutras, the Sublime Golden Light, Which is extremely profound upon hearing And profound upon examination. The buddhas in the four directions Confer their blessings: blessings From Akshobhya in the east, Ratnaketu in the south, Amitabha in the west and Dundubhisvara in the north. In order to extinguish all unwholesome deeds I will proclaim this auspicious sublime discourse That exhausts all negative karma, Grants all peace and happiness, Completely eliminates suffering, Which is adorned with all that is glorious And is the foundation of omniscience. Granting blessings, this I shall explain. Sentient beings whose senses are defective, Whose life expectancy has ended or is fading, Whom the gods have turned against, Who are burdened by misfortune, Hated by their loved ones, Or oppressed as household servants, In conflict with one another, Afflicted with decline in material wealth, Grief-stricken and miserable, Ridden with fear and stricken by poverty, Troubled by stars, planetary bodies And fierce demonic spirits, Or who see excruciating nightmares Following grief and fatigue, They should bathe well to render themselves clean And listen to this sublime sutra. Should those with virtuous intent and pure mind Adorn themselves well in clean garments, Then listen to this sutra on the profound, The domain of buddhas’ experience, Through the awe-inspiring power of this sutra, The suffering of all creatures – The likes of which cannot be endured – Will be forever pacified. Protection will be offered to them By the guardians of the world, Their ministers and army chiefs, Tens of thousands of millions of yakshas, The great goddess Sarasvati, And the goddess who dwells in the Nairanjana, By Hariti, mother of bhutas, The earth goddess Drdha, By the Brahma kings and kings of the Thirty-Three, The powerful kings of serpents, Kings of kinnaras and kings of asuras, Likewise by the kings of garudas. They, with their clans and might will arrive, Along with their mounts, And unfailingly day and night, Offer protection to beings. I will clearly expound this sutra on the profound, The domain of buddhas’ experience, The secret of all buddhas, Difficult to find in tens of millions of eons. Those who hear this sutra, Those who cause others to hear it, Those who rejoice upon hearing And make offerings to it, For tens of millions of eons Shall be venerated by gods and nagas, Humans and kinnaras, Asuras and yakshas. For beings without merit, The store of their merit Will grow into a limitless, Incalculable, inconceivable mass. Fiercely they will be protected By buddhas in the ten directions; Likewise, also by bodhisattvas Engaged in the profound. Clad in clean garments, Wearing well-perfumed clothes, Possessing a mind firm with love, Without distraction, one should honor this sutra. Render the mind spotless, Put forth effort to make it expansive And intensely clear, Then listen to this sublime sutra. Those who listen to this sutra Will be acclaimed among humans, Attain an excellent human existence And live a life of comfort. Those into whose ears This sublime discourse is echoed, Will have merit roots refined And numerous buddhas will extol them.
Chapter 2 The Chapter on the Span of the Tathagata’s Life Furthermore, at that time, during that period, in the great city of Rajagriha, there dwelt the bodhisattva, the great being Ruchiraketu, who had venerated previous buddhas, cultivated roots of virtue and rendered service to many hundreds of thousands of millions of buddhas. He thought to himself, “What cause and what condition will cause the Lord Shakyamuni to live for only eighty years? That is such a short life.” Furthermore, he thought, “The Lord has himself declared: ‘There are two causes and two conditions which prolong life. What are the two? They are namely renouncing killing and giving food wholly.’ As for the Lord Shakyamuni, he renounced killing for many incalculable hundreds of thousands of millions of eons. He perfectly adhered to the path of the ten virtuous actions. He gave away food and external and internal objects completely. Not only that, he satisfied hungry living beings with the flesh, blood, bones and marrow of his own body.” Then, while this sublime being entertained such thoughts with regard to the Tathagata, his house transformed into a vast and expansive palace made of lapis lazuli, embellished with numerous divine jewels, its color transformed by the Tathagata and filled with perfumes surpassing those of gods. In the four directions emerged four thrones made of divine jewels. These thrones came to be covered with mats of divine jewels and fine cotton raiment, and on those thrones appeared divine lotuses adorned with numerous jewels, their color transformed by the Tathagata. From those lotuses arose four Transcendent Victor Buddhas. In the east appeared the Tathagata Akshobhya; in the south appeared the Tathagata Ratnaketu; in the west appeared the Tathagata Amitayus; and in the north appeared the Tathagata Dundubhisvara. When those tathagatas appeared on those lion thrones, the great city of Rajagriha was filled with bright light. That light pervaded all the triple thousand, great thousand world systems, world systems in the ten directions and world systems as many as the grains of sand in the Ganges river. In addition, divine flowers rained down and divine music resounded. Through the power of the Buddha, all sentient beings in the triple thousand, great thousand worlds too became possessed of the joy of the gods. Beings whose senses were incomplete became possessed of complete senses; beings blind from birth saw forms with the eyes; deaf beings heard sounds with the ears; insane beings regained their sanity; distracted beings became focused; naked beings became clothed in garments; hungry beings became full-bellied; thirsty beings were quenched; beings afflicted with illness became free of disease; beings whose bodily organs were defective became possessed of complete organs. Many astounding events took place in the world. Upon seeing those buddhas, the bodhisattva Ruchiraketu was greatly astounded. He was satiated, pleased, joyful and delighted. Feeling happy and ecstatic, with hands folded in the direction of the tathagatas, he bowed in homage, remembering those tathagatas. Then, reflecting on the qualities of the Tathagata Shakyamuni Buddha, he was vexed with misgiving about the lifespan of the Tathagata Shakyamuni Buddha. He wondered, “How is it that the Lord Shakyamuni will live a brief life of only eighty years?” Those tathagatas, while knowing and realizing his thoughts, spoke to him thus: “O child of noble family, do not think, ‘The Lord Shakyamuni will have such a short lifespan.’ Why? Because, O child of noble family, except for the perfectly and fully enlightened conqueror tathagatas, we do not see among the worlds of gods, maras or brahmas, among ascetics and brahmins, gods, humans or asuras, anyone who could perceive the furthest future reaches of the lifespan of the Tathagata, Lord Shakyamuni.” As soon as those tathagatas expressed this observation on the lifespan of the Tathagata Shakyamuni Buddha, then by the power of the Tathagata, the gods residing in the desire and form realms, including nagas, yakshas, gandharvas, asuras, garudas, kinnaras and mahoragas, as well as numerous hundreds of thousands of millions of bodhisattvas, gathered and went to the house of the bodhisattva Ruchiraketu. Then those tathagatas proclaimed in verse this explanation of the lifespan of Tathagata Shakyamuni to the entire gathering: The drops of water in all the oceans Can be measured, But no one can measure The lifespan of Shakyamuni. To the finest particle, the atoms Of Mount Sumeru can be gauged, But no one can gauge The lifespan of Shakyamuni. The number of finest particles Existing on this earth Can be measured, But not the span of the Conqueror’s life. Although through some device One may wish to measure space, No one can measure The lifespan of Shakyamuni. The number cannot be found that explains: ‘The fully enlightened Buddha lives this long, This many eons, in eon terms, Such as one hundred million eons.’
There are two causes And two conditions for this: Renouncing deadly violence And repeatedly giving plentiful food. The finite count of the lifespan Of this great being that explains: ‘He will live these many eons’ cannot be found. The eons are indeed uncountable. Hence, have no doubt, Not even the slightest doubt; The finite limit of the Conqueror’s life Is not observed anywhere. Then, at that time, in that assembly, the brahmin teacher and expounder called Kaundinya, along with numerous thousands of brahmins, venerated the Tathagata. On hearing the voice of those great tathagatas, completely gone beyond sorrow, they gathered in that place at once. Bowing at the feet of the Tathagata, the brahmin teacher and expounder Kaundinya said to the Tathagata: “If the Lord Transcendent Victor is merciful to all living beings, compassionate, desirous of serving, a parent to all, equal to the unequalled, illuminating like the moon, wisdom and knowledge glowing like the sun, if you look upon all beings as upon your son Rahula, then please give me some guidance.” The Tathagata remained silent. Then through the power of the Tathagata, in that assembly a confidence grew in a Licchavi youth called Sarvalokapriyadarshana, and he spoke thus to the brahmin teacher and expounder Kaundinya: “Why do you seek guidance, great brahmin, from the Buddha? I will give you the guidance you seek.” The brahmin said, “For the sake of honoring the Buddha, Licchavi youth, and for the sake of receiving a share of relic powder, I wish to have a relic of the Buddha the size of a mustard seed. It is said that if one honors a relic the size of a mustard seed, one attains lordship over the gods of the Thirty-Three. Listen, O Licchavi youth, to the King of Glorious Sutras, the Sublime Golden Light, which has features and qualities such as being difficult for all shravakas and pratyekabuddhas to know and to comprehend. O Licchavi youth, the Sutra of Sublime Golden Light is in this way difficult to know and difficult to comprehend. Hence, we brahmins of remote areas wish to have a relic the size of a mustard seed, which when held, either placed in a bowl or kept on the body, causes living beings to attain lordship over the gods of the Thirty-Three. Why wouldn’t you, O Licchavi youth, wish to receive a relic the size of a mustard seed from the Tathagata and keep it in an urn so that living beings may attain lordship over the gods of the Thirty-Three? O Licchavi youth, I seek such a boon.” Then Sarvalokapriyadarshana, the Licchavi youth, replied in verse to the brahmin teacher and expounder Kaundinya: When white lilies grow In the Ganges’ swift currents, When crows become red And cuckoos turn the color of conch, When palm fruit grows on the rose-apple tree And on the date tree mangos form, At that time a relic the size Of a mustard seed will appear. When from tortoise hair Cloth shielding winter’s bite Can be woven well, Then there will be a relic. When from the legs of gnats Multi-storied towers can be well built, Solidly firm and never shaking, Then there will be a relic. When all leeches Grow white teeth, Sharp and big, Then there will be a relic. When from the horns of rabbits Ladders can be built well In order to climb high, Then there will be a relic. Climbing this ladder, Should a mouse eat the moon And harm Rahu as well, Then there will be a relic. When bees that buzz in towns Drink a pitcher of wine And make dwelling in a house, Then there will be a relic.
When donkeys become happy, Well versed in singing and dancing, Their lips ruddy like the bimba fruit, Then there will be a relic. When owls and crows Flock to solitude, frolic together And become friendly, Then there will be a relic. When the leaves of the palasha tree Become an umbrella made of three jewels That keeps off the rain, Then there will be a relic. When large ocean vessels Fitted with turning devices and sails Float and set sail on land, Then there will be a relic. When owls move freely, Lifting the Gandhamadana mountain In their beaks, Then there will be a relic. After hearing these verses, the brahmin teacher and expounder Kaundinya replied to Sarvalokapriyadarshana, the Licchavi youth: Excellent, excellent, supreme youth! The son of Buddha, great orator, Heroic and skillful in means, You have received the sublime prophecy. Listen to me, O youth, concerning The inconceivable greatness Of the Tathagata, the protector And savior of the world. The realm of the buddhas is inconceivable And the tathagatas are peerless. All buddhas are ever serene. All buddhas are perfectly emerged. All buddhas are of the same hue. This is the suchness of buddha
The Lord Transcendent Victor is uncontrived. The Tathagata is unborn. His body, hard as a vajra, Manifests emanated forms. Thus, no relic small as a mustard seed Of the great sage is to be found. Since his body is without bone and blood, How can there be a relic? Yet to benefit living beings, Skillfully, relics are formed. Dharmakaya – the complete Buddha; Dharmadhatu – the Tathagata Akin to the deed of teaching the Dharma, These are the body of the Lord. Because I heard and knew this I sought this sublime gift. To make this truth plain and clear, Thus I initiated this discourse. Then, having heard such profound explanations of the Tathagata’s span of life, all thirty- two thousand sons of gods generated altruistic resolve for the peerless and perfect enlightenment. Their minds filled with intense joy, they spoke these verses in a single voice: The Buddha does not enter complete nirvana; Neither does the Dharma cease to be; Yet for the ripening of beings, Tathagatas manifest passing beyond suffering. The Transcendent Victor Buddha is inconceivable; Though the Tathagata’s body is permanent, It pervades a multitude of forms For the welfare of sentient beings. Having heard these discourses explaining the lifespan of the Tathagata Shakyamuni Buddha from these tathagatas and the two great beings, the bodhisattva Ruchiraketu was thoroughly satiated, pleased, extremely delighted and filled with joy. He was overwhelmed with great bliss of mind. While this discourse on the Tathagata’s span of life was being given, inconceivable countless sentient beings generated altruistic resolve for peerless and perfect enlightenment. Then those tathagatas vanished in that very spot.
Chapter 3 The Chapter on Seeing the Dream Then the bodhisattva Ruchiraketu slid into sleep. He dreamed he saw a golden drum, its light shining like the orb of the sun. In every direction, countless inconceivable numbers of tathagatas were preaching the Dharma, seated on lapis thrones at the foot of jeweled trees, completely surrounded by numerous hundreds of thousands of retinues. Then he saw a being in the form of a brahmin beating that drum. From the sound of the drum, these and similar confessional verses issued forth. Then the bodhisattva Ruchiraketu awoke and remembered those verses at once. Having remembered those verses, when night came to an end, he along with many thousands of beings left the great city of Rajagriha. He arrived at Vulture Peak where the Tathagata was. Having reached there, he prostrated himself at the feet of the Tathagata, circumambulated the Tathagata three times and sat to one side. Sitting to one side, the bodhisattva Ruchiraketu bowed to the Tathagata with hands folded in respect and recited those confessional verses he heard coming forth from the drum. This ends the third chapter, the Chapter on Seeing the Dream, from the King of Glorious
Sutras, the Sublime Golden Light. Chapter 4 Chapter on Confession One night, without distraction, I dreamed a vivid dream: I saw a large and beautiful drum Filling the world with golden light And glowing like the sun. Beaming brightly to all places, It was seen from ten directions. Everywhere buddhas were seated On thrones of precious lapis At the foot of jeweled trees Facing assemblies of many hundreds of thousands.
I saw a form like that of a brahmin Fiercely beat upon the drum; When he struck it, These verses issued forth: By the sound of this majestic drum of golden light, May the suffering of lower migration, Yama and the poverty of the three realms Of the triple thousand worlds cease to be. By the sound of this majestic drum, May the ignorance of the world be dispelled. With fears quelled, just as vanquishing sages are unafraid, May sentient beings become fearless and brave. Just as the Omniscient Vanquishing Sage in the world Is possessed of every excellence of the aryas, May countless beings too possess oceans of qualities, Concentration and the wings of enlightenment. By the sound of this majestic drum, May all beings be endowed with the melody of Brahma; May they touch the sublime enlightenment of buddhas; May they turn the virtuous wheel of the Dharma. Remaining for inconceivable eons, May they teach the Dharma to guide migrating beings. Conquering delusion and overcoming affliction, May their attachment, hatred and ignorance be pacified. May sentient beings who have fallen to lower migrations, Whose bodies of bone are alight with blazing flame, Hear the speech of this majestic drum; May the proclamation “Homage to the Tathagata!” be heard. In the course of hundreds of births And tens of thousands of millions of births, May every being remember their former lives, Hear these teachings completely And always recall the vanquishing sages. By the sound of this majestic drum, May beings always find the company of buddhas.
Thoroughly renouncing every harmful act, May they engage in only virtuous deeds. For humans, gods and all creatures, Whatever thoughts and wishes they have, May their every wish be totally fulfilled By the sound of this majestic drum. For beings born in the most terrible hells, Bodies alight with blazing flame, Who wander without aim, bereft of refuge, filled with grief, May tormenting fires utterly end. For those who bear the suffering of humans, For hell beings, animals and hungry ghosts, May every suffering be completely dispelled By the sound of this majestic drum. For those who are without refuge, Without base, support or friend, May I become their supreme refuge, Their base, their support and friend. Supreme among bipeds, O buddhas Dwelling in worlds of ten directions, With merciful, compassionate mind, Please pay attention to me. O buddhas possessed of the ten powers: Those terrible wicked acts I have committed in the past, Before your eyes, I confess them all. Whatever unwholesome deeds I have done: Not holding parents as parents, Not holding buddhas as buddhas, Not upholding virtuous deeds; Whatever unwholesome deeds I have done: Haughty with the vanity of wealth, Haughty with age and youthfulness, Haughty with pride of affluence and class;
Whatever unwholesome deeds I have done Through harmful thoughts, harmful words, The thought of harm as harmless And harmful actions done; Whatever unwholesome deeds I have done: Acting with the mind of a child, A mind dark with ignorance Or under the sway of a non-virtuous friend; Greatly charged with emotion, Discontent with wealth, Afflicted with depression and malaise Or under the impulse of frivolous play; Whatever unwholesome deeds I have done Through mixing with vile characters of non-aryas, Through jealousy and miserliness And through poverty and guile; Whatever unwholesome deeds I have done When poverty came to me, Fearing loss of the desirable And stricken with a dearth of material goods; Whatever unwholesome deeds I have done Under the power of a flighty mind, Ruled by desire and hatred Or oppressed by hunger and thirst; Whatever unwholesome deeds I have done When oppressed by affliction, For the sake of pursuing women, Or acquiring food, drink and attire; Through misdeeds of body, speech and mind, I have amassed threefold wrong acts. In these three ways, whatever I have done, These deeds I confess in full. Whatever I have done, Disrespecting buddhas, the Dharma, And shravakas too, These deeds I confess in full.
Actions I have done lacking respect To pratyekabuddhas, As well as to bodhisattvas, These deeds I confess in full. Disrespect I have shown To those who preach the Dharma, Likewise contempt of the Dharma itself, These deeds I confess in full. Continually unaware of its benefit, I have rejected the sublime Dharma; I have shown unwitting insolence to parents; These deeds I confess in full. Childish and veiled by stupidity, Blind with desire and hatred, Ignorance, arrogance and pride, These deeds I confess in full. Honoring those who possess ten powers, I shall worship those dwelling in all directions. I shall deliver sentient beings Inhabiting every realm from all suffering. I shall place uncountable beings Upon the bodhisattvas’ ten grounds. Abiding in these ten stages, May they all become tathagatas. Until I am capable of freeing them all From countless oceans of suffering, For ten million eons I shall strive For the sake of even one sentient being. To these sentient beings I shall reveal This sutra called Sublime Golden Light, Which rids one of every harmful misdeed And expounds upon the profound. Those who for a thousand eons Committed deadly unwholesome deeds, By confessing them earnestly once Through this sutra, all will be purified.
Swiftly and wholly consuming all karmic obstructions By making confession through Sublime Golden Light, I shall abide on the ten bodhisattva grounds – Those mines of supreme precious jewels – That I may shine with a tathagata’s marks and signs And free beings from the ocean of existence. Through buddhas, who are the water of oceans – Their inconceivable tathataga qualities Akin to the ocean's profound depth – I shall evolve into an omniscient being. Becoming a buddha, I shall possess ten powers, Hundreds of thousands of concentrations, Inconceivable magical mantra incantations, Enlightenment’s seven wings, the five powers and five forces. O buddhas who continually look upon beings, I request you to gaze intently upon me. Your compassionate minds always overflowing, May you hold the remorseful always near. Due to countless sinful actions Performed in hundreds of eons past, My mind is pierced and stricken with grief, Wretchedness, sorrow and fear. Solemnly fearing unwholesome deeds, I shall always keep my mind modest. Wherever I commit the smallest action, I will not succumb to frivolous excitement. Since buddhas are compassionate And dispel the fright of all beings, I entreat them to hold the remorseful fast And free us from every fear. May the tathagatas keep at bay My negative karma and emotion. May the buddhas always bathe me With the water of their compassion. I confess all unwholesome deeds: Whatever I have done in the past,
Whatever is done in the present, These deeds I confess in full. I shall not conceal or hide Harmful actions I have done. In future times I shall refrain From deeds that render me full of shame. Three actions of the body, Fourfold of the voice, Threefold of the mind, These deeds I confess in full. Actions I have done through body and speech, Clearly impelled by the mind, Those tenfold actions I accomplished, These deeds I confess in full. Renouncing the ten unwholesome deeds And cultivating those ten which are moral, I will come to abide on the ten grounds And acquire the buddhas’ ten great powers. Every unwholesome deed I have done That leads to unwanted results, In the presence of the buddhas, These deeds I confess in full. In the wholesome virtuous deeds Of all those dwelling in Jambudvipa, And those living in other worlds too, In these deeds, I rejoice. Likewise, whatever merit I have gathered Through body, speech and mind, By the force of this virtue’s ripening effect, May supreme enlightenment be attained. Deeds committed on samsara’s precarious wheel, Those actions influenced by a childish mind, Approaching the presence of the peerless ten powers, All these deeds, I confess individually. Through feeble birth, feeble existence, Feeble world and feeble volatile mind,

In the course of hundreds of births And tens of thousands of millions of births, May every being remember their former lives, Hear these teachings completely And always recall the vanquishing sages. By the sound of this majestic drum, May beings always find the company of buddhas.
Thoroughly renouncing every harmful act, May they engage in only virtuous deeds. For humans, gods and all creatures, Whatever thoughts and wishes they have, May their every wish be totally fulfilled By the sound of this majestic drum. Supreme among bipeds, O buddhas Dwelling in worlds of ten directions, With merciful, compassionate mind, Please pay attention to me. O buddhas possessed of the ten powers: Those terrible wicked acts I have committed in the past, Before your eyes, I confess them all.
