Huntington's Summer Carnival Underway

The second full day of the Huntington Summer Carnival brought families out to Breezy Park for music, rides, food and a chance to dunk an elected official in a tank of water. The carnival, which continues Sunday, is a fundraiser for town youth programs. The Huntington Town Board appointed several residents to advisory boards this week. Named to the LGBTQ+ committee was Alexa Hines, appointed by Councilwoman Brooke Lupinacci. 'Pink in the Park' Fair to Address Breast Cancer

A Pink in the Park event to about preventing breast cancer and education is scheduled for Sept. 29 in Heckscher Park in Huntington.
