What ring of power would be more fitting for Billy,indigo lantern ring(compassion) or green lantern ring(will) ?

Ooh what a fun question!

Quick disclaimer that i dont have the most thorough knowledge of the various lantern corps so my interpretations may be limited.

I've seen people make some really good arguments for Billy welding just about every lantern ring color and I really do think that he could do really well with either green or indigo.

Personally I think that Indigo fits him better because he has always been defined by his compassion and drive to help others. Even at his lowest he would do everything in his lower to help those in need because he knows how important it is. He also has compassion for even his villains, believing they can change for the better with the right support.

He has a strong will like most green Lanterns but I don't think that's as central to his character you know?

Hot new theory that completely undercuts the joke: in new kids on the rock #5: the vigilante, Neil gives one lying explanation and one truthful one about Ryan's family heritage. However, the explanation he gives Kevin-- that Ryan's family are all insane-- doesn't actually explain how Ryan is able to fight so well despite having never fought before in his life. Ergo, what if what he told Ryan was actually closer to the truth, and Kevin is the one he lied to? But why would Neil have to act so secretively about all this in the first place, you may ask-- or know so much about Ryan's lineage and abilities, for that matter? Well, perhaps [takes off my regular glasses and puts on a pair of horn-rimmed glasses] he works for a company that specializes in observing and at times containing people with unusual powers. But this organization and the people it studies must be kept secret from ordinary people. What then huh

you know, i even said to myself the other night i thought a fun writing project to take on one day would be like. a character biography, basically. a very detailed, start to end of life type story.

but in the case of villain!diantha, i think a fic written like it's an autobiography would be really fun. and while maybe not a true, first person-type of autobiography, you'd get the sense eventually that the 3rd person narrator absolutely believes this lady is going to become empress of the world or whatever the fuck
