The next few weeks pass by slowly for Maya and Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn supports Maya as she grieves her mom, and the two also adopt Roxy, Alicia’s dog*. They start to plan Alicia’s funeral but two of their pets get sick, and Roxy needs to be spayed so they pack up the furballs and take them to the vet. Roxy goes in to get spayed first and Maya runs into Iseul, her niece Tess and niece-in-law Megan’s friend, in the hallway as she waits. “Hey Maya,” Iseul says. “Hey Iseul, how are you?” Maya asks, “Good, how are you?” Iseul asks. “Okay, as much as I can be,” Maya says with a small smile. “Yeah, Dani told me about Alicia passing. I’m so sorry Maya. If there’s any way I can help you or Kaitlyn or if you need to talk, I’m here. I lost my parents too so I understand how hard it is,” Iseul says gently. “Yeah, it’s so tough. One day I feel okay and the next day I don't even know how to go on but I somehow just do.” She says with a sigh and Iseul nods. 

The two continue to chat as Roxy, grumpy from her cone, and Iseul’s cat Aloo come over. Maya pets Aloo and coos at him as Iseul pets Roxy. "Aloo is a fitting name. His spots look like potatoes." Maya says to Iseul and she grins. "Thanks, my fiancée Grace named him." She says and Maya nods. "Oh yeah, Luna told me about her. How are you two doing?” She asks and Iseul smiles. “Good, just planning the wedding still. We’re holding a small ceremony in March and then we’ll go on a honeymoon to Tomarang for a month, and then maybe we’ll move to Simland.” She says lightly and Maya nods, noticing the hesitation on Iseul’s face but deciding not to mention it. The vet calls Iseul in, and she smiles at Maya before picking up Aloo. “See you, Maya,” she says and Maya nods. “See you, Iseul.” She says as another vet calls her and Cosmo over.

A random as heck photo of Piper’s nana Maya comforting her wife/Piper’s grandma Kaitlyn because I think their pets Coco and Cosmo* passed. I had invited them to see Piper as well, but I think they were so sad that after hugging Piper they just stayed outside and talked.

But anyway, Piper’s auntie Tess comes home from her jog, and she heads upstairs and kisses her wife Megan’s cheek. She grins as she sees an excited look on Megan’s face. "What is it, honey?" She asks. "Our niece is home from college." Megan says, and Tess’s light brown eyes light up. "What, really?" Tess asks, and she grins as Megan nods. Piper comes up the stairs just then and pops her head into Hamuera’s room, where Megan and Tess are chatting. "Auntie Tess!" She says, and rushes over to hug her. "Pipes!" Tess says, hugging her niece back. Tess grins as she looks at Piper, trying not to get too sappy. "You got half an inch taller." Tess teases, and Piper grins. "I think it's the college atmosphere." Piper jokes, and Tess laughs before hugging her niece again. "Seriously Pipes, I'm so happy to see you." Tess says, and Piper smiles. Her auntie Tess had been around as long as Piper could remember, and she still has fond memories of her auntie playing with her as a toddler, cheering her up after a bad day in fifth grade, giving her advice for when she had a crush on her then girlfriend Malaya, and after that a cute guy in her art class named Alex who she didnt end up asking out, and her current girlfriend Cam after that.

Now, Tess asks Piper about her classes, college life, roommates, and Piper tells her. She also adds that things are going great with Cam. "I think we might move in together in our third semesters." Piper says, blushing as her aunties tease her lovingly. "Shut up, auntie Tess. You and auntie Megan are always moon eyeing each other too." Piper teases back, and Tess blushes while Megan laughs. Later that night, Cam snuggles up to Piper in her room after chatting with her parents, sister, and auntie Iseul on the phone for a bit. They both have classes so they have to head back the next morning, but they enjoyed spending the day with Piper’s family and Piper tells Cam she'll go with Cam to see her family in Copperdale next time. Cam nods sleepily and snuggles deeper into Piper’s shoulder as they both drift off.

Switching to the Feldman-Chen household. I missed Kaitlyn and Maya and decided to play with them for a bit, also I saw the urns of Coco and Cosmo and got kinda sad and was like okay, I’m going to bring them back to life and so I did. 😅

Anyway, Maya and Kaitlyn spend some time with their fur babies, and Kaitlyn snuggles Coco while Maya hugs Cosmo.

While Kaitlyn and Maya spent some time together, Megan, Tess, and the kids hung out in the backyard. I accidentally had Tess transform into a wolf and Megan was pretty startled but goofed around with Tess. It scared Hamuera though, and that made Tess feel pretty guilty, and she went to to check on him while Megan talked with Piper.

Finally, it was time to open the presents. Emily rushed to the living room as her moms laughed and followed her. Everyone opened their presents and then lounged on the couches together as they watched a few Winterfest movies.

Once the guests left, Kaitlyn and Maya slow danced together. There's also an option to slow dance with your pet but it doesn't go through unfortunately.

Luna and Chrissy took the kids, as well as Megan, Tess, and Emily, to Luna’s moms’ farmhouse in Henford on Bagley. Luna’s moms hugged her, Chrissy, their respective grandkids, and their niece Tess and greeted Megan warmly. Tess went up to the Feldman-Chen’s dog, Cosmo, and howled, which he responded to with his own howl. Plus, Piper spent time with her grandma’s cow, Millie. She pet Millie, but was snubbed when she tried to hug her. Piper put her hands on her hips and jokingly scolded Millie but laughed.

Maya and Kaitlyn decided to have a backyard vow renewal that night, and they asked their daughter Luna to be their maid of honor. Luna accepted and was like heck yeah, and Maya laughed and was like its mostly for fun so don’t worry about any maid of honor duties, and Luna was like yeah no, I know. They asked Maya’s older brother Luke to be their officiant, and he agreed after goofing around with Maya. Kaitlyn baked their cake, a rainbow one with vanilla icing and some fun colorful cupcakes, while Luna helped her mamma get ready.

Also, Coco and Cosmo randomly being cute. 🥰

Back in the Feldman-Chen household, Kaitlyn took care of Millie while Maya tended to her garden, and then talked with Sadie and gifted her some strawberry fizz cupcakes for her, Yadira, and Ellie. Then Miko, Salim, and their daughter Tammy showed up, and Maya hugged them and was like oh man, you guys drove all the way here? And Miko was like of course. Maya introduced Miko and Salim to Sadie, and once Kaitlyn saw them she came over too. Also, here’s Cosmo eating the profiteroles Maya left on the ground while sneaking glances at her, and then knocking out next to Kaitlyn. 🥰

Luna came over as well, and she sat with her mom as she cross stitchedand the two of them talked. Luna then told her moms about how she and Chrissy might take Piper and Hamuera to Granite Falls this weekend, so they could visit their great grandma Nora, (she’s Brant’s mom, and she’s the one Chrissy would visit in Granite Falls with her dads growing up).

Then the whole family headed to Brindleton Bay to visit Luna’s moms. Kaitlyn and Maya wanted to celebrate Tess getting engaged too, and wanted to see their daughter, daughter in law, and grandkids. Luna immediately went into snugglebug mode with her moms, and then Kaitlyn congratulated Megan, and the two of them chatted about venues and dresses for a bit. Also, I got two photos of Coco making faces 😂 she’s so cute and grumpy

Back in the Feldman-Chen house, Kaitlyn cleaned up Millie’s shed while Megan cooked some food. After dinner, the two of them relaxed in their room, and flirted for a bit until Cosmo came and jumped around to get Maya’s attention. Maya laughed, pet Cosmo, and then took him out for a bit while Kaitlyn went to go find Coco.

Unfortunately, the fire pit ended up causing a fire and everyone panicked and ran to the front. Luckily, Chrissy stepped up and extinguished the fire, and everyone headed back to the backyard and the party continued. Oh yeah, Kaitlyn and Maya had also invited the Hecking family, Rowan, Juliet, and their kids, and Tess. After some food and fireworks, everyone except for Chrissy, Luna, and Piper left. Piper took a quick nap cause she was exhausted from the fire and playing in the sprinkler, and then woke up 2 hours later and woke her grandma Maya up before her moms could stop her. Luna did scold her a bit, but Maya told her that it was okay

Maya: Plus, you used to do the same thing, Luna. You woke up me and your mom so many times when you were Piper’s age

Back in the Hecking-Feldman-Chen household, Luna was preparing a bunch of stuff for Harvestfest. She and Chrissy decided to host a small dinner, with just Luna’s moms and Coco and Cosmo, since Chrissy’s dads had taken Aubrey and Jiaying to visit their grandma in Granite Falls and were celebrating Harvestfest there. Anyways, Luna finished decorating the cereal marshmallow squares, and started to make the turkey for the grand meal 🍂
