I have a question about Alvar Thornburn:

Why does he hate Illagers so much that he created the Illager Hunters Guild to hunt them down and murder them all? Is there some reason he wants to wipe out all Illagers or is it because he is evil and just hates them for no reason?

Alvar does have a personal hatred towards Illagers and I mean PERSONAL hatred.

ya see, Alvar hates Illagers because he believes that they were responsible for the death of his wife, Yuna Thornburn, during the Great Mob War (Minecraft Legends), while, yes, Illager Warriors are the ones who killed Yuna, Alvar was unaware Yuna sacrificed herself to keep Alvar safe from their wrath as her way of showing her undying loyalty and love to her husband, Alvar thinks Yuna was cornered and was killed because the Illager mistook her for one of his own warriors out of his army of Nether-Beings and Piglins, Alvar is no stranger when it comes to losing people he loves and cares about, as a child, His own father, Herobrine, accidentally killed his young sister, Cora and then he loses his wife, his own son, Janis, turned against him to fight alongside the enemy and defeated him, taking his place as King of The Nether Kingdom, he was banished and all he has left are his two bumbling former Royal Guards named Joey and Charlie who can't even kill Valkyrie (My Illager oc) but can kill a group of Pillagers, his granddaughter Natalie, marries an Illager(Thord) and has hybrid children with the Illager (Asher and Lovina). Alvar is the reason his own father, Herobrine is missing.

OC analysis: Alvar Thornburn

As we know, there is very little to Alvar's history besides being heavily abused and being made to be a servant by his father Herobrine, which is part of why he became corrupted with hatred and madness.

the other two reasons was because of the losses in his life.

one of them was his little sister, Cora Thornburn, who Herobrine killed right in front of Alvar when the Nether-Being decided to defy him and run away, Herobrine used his favorite child as bait thinking it would cause Alvar to come back to save her, Alvar, thinking Herobrine wouldn't harm Cora since she was his favorite, tells him:

"I will never come back to the likes of you! All you ever do is abuse me, make me do slave work and put me down till I can't even love myself! You are the worst father alive and I will never forgive you for putting me and Cora through everything you caused! All the bad things that has happened in your life, Father, is because of YOU! not me! Not Uncle Notch! Not Cora or even MOTHER! but YOU!"

and in a fit of rage, Herobrine killed Cora...calling Alvar's bluff and making him watch his only sister die right in front of his own eyes, this causes Alvar to lose some of his sanity, and in revenge one day, as a teen, Alvar killed Herobrine and steals his crown as King of The Nether and Leader of the Nether-Beings.

"But...Who is Alvar and Cora's mom?" you may be wondering. well, have you guys ever heard of the entity known as "White Eyes"? She was like the Herobrine before Herobrine became what he is today. (yes, she is canonically female.) She is the mother of Alvar and Cora, the ex-wife of Herobrine, Nobody has seen her since then. Not even Alvar remembers what she looks like and Cora never got to see her as a infant, Alvar still loves his mother and doesn't hold ill will on her leaving them behind as she didn't seem to have any say in the matter but her leaving him behind really caused a lot of hurt inside of his heart as she was his only parent who loved him.

the last and least person who is one of the reasons and the main cause of Alvar becoming the evil tyrant he was is the death of his wife, Yuna Thornburn during the Great Mob War.(*coughs*MINECRAFTLEGENDS!*coughs*) While facing some Illager Warriors, Yuna decided to fight them off alone in order to protect Alvar from being harmed and one of the warriors killed her with it's axe to her chest, this is also why Alvar hates Illagers and why he is Leader of The Illager Hunters alongside his former Royal Guards, Charlie and Joey and why he wants to wipe every Illager from Minecraftia's world. After his defeat from his son, Janis Thornburn, Alvar was banished from the Nether and de-throned and his son took his crown, feeling angry, bitter and betrayed, Alvar resides in the Overworld with Charlie and Joey planning his return.
