ć°èčèé»éŁ[KoseribaĆren] Coptis japonica var. japonica
ć°[Ko] : Small
èč[Seri] : Japanese parsley(Oenanthe javanica)
è[-ba|Ha] : Leaf
é»éŁ[Ćren] : Japanese goldthread(C. japonica)
Perhaps because of the rain that fell about two days in a row the other day, grass began to sprout here and there. Even in the shade of the forest, it seemed to be warmer near the lower elevation plains, where four or five KoseribaĆren(s) were growing stalks with flowers on them.
The flowers is small, about one centimeter in diameter, so it is not gorgeous, but the appearance is unique, and the center of the light cream-colored flower is colored red, making it more beautiful. The seed-cods produced after the flowers also form an interesting shape with a radial spread. In addition, the leaves are evergreen, and the grass itself is only twenty to forty centimeters tall. So some people grow it in a flowerpot to appreciate it.
This species is endemic to Japan.

Winter made an encore appearance to the Central Appalachians this past week, with some locations above 3000 feet receiving a foot or more of snow. By Friday, all that nasty cold and freezing precipitation had moved out and spring returned with a vengeance today, with temperatures in the upper sixties to low seventies. It was a perfect day to explore the ancient sphagnum bog at Cranesville Swamp Preserve, whose boreal wetlands community owes its existence to the cool temperatures provided by the frost pocket in which it nestles. From top: small cranberry (Vaccinium oxycoccos) and eastern teaberry (Gaultheria procumbens) grow from a sphagnum hummock; lowbush blueberry (Vaccinium angustifolium); eastern skunk cabbage (Symplocarpus foetidus) growing in a damp spot near the bogâs edge; fringed polygala (Polygaloides paucifolia); dwarf ginseng (Panax trifolius); goldthread (Coptis trifolia); and downy serviceberry (Amelanchier arborea).

Hey, if you don't mind how did you get the spotify link to work like that, where it can play from tumblr? I tried a test just copty and paste the embed code but it's still just a click through link for me, did you do anything different? I haven't used spotify in like a decade lmao đ
No problem! I learned that from clicking on the wrong button dozens of times while adding the masterlists links to my posts XD.
Here.

Instead of clicking on the text box and paste the link there, or using the tool to put a link into the text like this, you click on the tool I circulated.
A box for the URL will appear, and you enter the link of the Spotify there. After a few seconds, it'll turn into that play button you saw :D
(This is from the phone, idk how different it would be using a computer, but it's probably the same tool)

Daily Kirby Copy Ability 02/08/2024
Today's Copty Ability is Sword! Sword has appeared in 16 games, starting in Kirby's Adventure, and most recently appearing in Kirby's Return to Dreamland Deluxe.
Wikirby Description: "Sword is a Copy Ability which grants Kirby a blade to wield against his foes. First appearing in Kirby's Adventure, this is one of Kirby's oldest and most essential abilities, and has since become one of the most ubiquitous and recognizable Copy Abilities in the series - often being among the first (if not the very first) seen. When utilizing it, Kirby adopts a green hat with a yellow brim and a pompom at its tip, which grants him a look similar to that of Link from the The Legend of Zelda series. The most common way to obtain the Sword ability is by inhaling Sword Knight, Blade Knight, or the Mid-Boss Gigant Edge. Sword is also notable for being one of the abilities that can be used underwater, making it very versatile. In Kirby's Return to Dream Land and Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe, there is a super version of this ability called Ultra Sword."
