So, an implied question I see a lot now is what’s going to happen with Sol. You mentioned he’s recognized as a lot weaker now that he lacks the Flame of Corruption. I think that they’re moving him away from the spotlight a bit, but that’s not quite what I mean.

What I really mean is if you think he’s going to get the Flame of Corruption back? Do you think he’s going to train to get strong? That would be quite the anime trope! I know Frederick isn’t very into working hard, but I do think that automatically being strong enough to kill the world probably exacerbated that a bit…I would have fun if he (privately, not out loud) sort of chaffed at being weaker than he’s been for the last 200 years.

Actually, now that I think about it, maybe he doesn’t even need to work at it still? I mean, Sol’s a pretty good fighter when it comes down to the grindstone. It’s just he doesn’t normally do that.

They're definitely kind of setting it up to move the story focus away from Ky and Sol, but it feels more like Ky's going to stay in the story more than Sol will be. It's a bit too soon to really know for sure. I think the odds are decent that Ram and Sin will be the new lead protagonists since it's been building up in that direction since Xrd Sign, imo.

Most of the main cast in Strive so far has gotten a "good" ending to their major story arcs. Like Jack-O' discovering/finding peace with herself, Sol getting the FoC removed, Dizzy and Ky finally being comfortable with their Gear/human relationship in public, etc. BUT a lot of the cast as a whole have NOT gotten good endings. Happy Chaos is still running around out there too, and the Backyard could shit out a new mega bad dude whenever GG's writers need it to.

It would be very dramatic if a new big bad evil guy showed up that no one else could defeat so Asuka goes to Sol and tells him that he has to put the FoC back into him before humanity explodes. It doesn't seem too improbable that someone else ends up with the FoC either. But Asuka and Sol both already know that Sol can/knows how to manage it. If someone else ended up with it, I think it would be for bad reasons like they want to use its power to kickstart an apocalypse (again) or something. I don't think we're going to get a Sol training montage though. He's a huge nerd haha He'll build a giant gun before he hits the gym willingly

It'll definitely be interesting seeing where it ends up going. There are too many possible directions at the moment to really guess which path it's gonna take. Exciting, but also... some of Strive's writing hasn't been the greatest haha.... I am ever so slightly nervous about it

There needs to be more quirky fun tech gadgets in the world. Like lil doodads and all that. I want a world where you can go to a store and get cool stuff like a device that has a specific scanner to copy text from physical books, that then sends it to your phone as a text document type thing. Or like, a belt with a proximity sensor that lets you know if someone is getting too close to you. Or tiny air quality meters that you can just carry around with you. Idk I just want a bunch of stuff that does other stuff.
