For the most excellent Gray-Card Top 5 , 2024 Year End Top 5 Photo Extravaganza!
1.'Two #24'. August, 2024. Layered 35mm film ( a combination of Kodak portra and boiled film).
2. 'The essence of self (part i)'. from the series ‘The essence of self (parts i-iii)’, which explores the concept of healing our past, through intervention of the medium it has been captured on. 35 mm film soaked in salt and water, orinted and water colour washes applied. Presented as a unique state print.
3. 'Downtown, NYC. Collaboration #5, March 2024. with @haraganazo. Polaroid injected with antiseptic.
4. 'piss ii'. Unique state print. (digital archival print with urine and watercolour).
5. 'Melbourne, April #12, 2024'. Polaroid Duochrome Yellow, microwaved as developing and soaked in Alcohol and paint.
Five images that present the image subverted in some way, from layering, to intervention of media. All manipulation is physically done.
