sasha gets bottom surgery and while she’s in recovery tim brings her food every day, and sits with her and tells her what she missed at work. he makes up funny stories that get more and more ridiculous until she’s finally like “okay tim i KNOW you’re lying this time” and he shrugs and replies “all trans men know is make friend laugh, eat doughnut, and lie”

jon gets top surgery but doesn’t tell any of his coworkers what procedure he’s having done, just that he’s having surgery. he’s out of work for weeks, and when he comes back martin notices that he’s no longer wearing what he’d assumed was an undershirt. martin doesn’t think anything of it. tim, however, notices that jon is veeeeery cautious about lifting his arms over his head and is just like ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) i see u, boss (and goes out of his way to retrieve everything that’s on high shelves for jon, who continues to act like nothing is up)

elias sneaks into the archives on the first day of pride month to set a little jar of trans flags in the break room. he does not admit to doing this. he watches from his office as the archives descends into chaos

the scene where you talk to davrin in his room while he whittles tiny models of monsters (while assan watches with rapt attention <3 there is nothing about this whole setup, man or griffon, that isn't adorable) when your rook IS one of the dainty little academic mage types he so besmirches and you consistently pick the purple options through the conversation -- I am SCREECHING the covert jock/nerd war rages on between clenched teeth and forced jollity, they are doing this on purpose, bioware really have given me this gift all nicely wrapped and lovingly crafted! rook is so fucking bitchy and passive aggressive in these purple options (and once or twice davrin doesn't seem to realize it/takes what they say at face value); it's not very nice of them but it is hilarious. also I must say that hearing these two just relentlessly neg each other with palpable tension of. SOME kind thick in the air* for five minutes straight and then walking away and seeing the 'davrin approves' pop up at the end gets close to the otherwise unapproachable gaming high that is having a tense standoff with sten in origins and seeing +7 affection as you leave. davrin clearly is going 'good talk man nice to see you stand up for yourself more, I respect the roast game' while my rook walks away with a forced smile and clenched fists like 'okay so that wasn't very mature of me I'll admit it but god why is this guy such an asshole'

I cannot imagine how this conversation must play out with a character more on davrin's wavelength because for my setup here this was *chef's kiss* perfect. ideal. I'm so glad this dynamic exists it's one of the funniest and most characterization-enriching things that could have happened to me

*there's some insanity going on here where like... I don't think either of them like want to fuck, they're not actually attracted to each other, but they both would fuck each other in a 'go fuck yourself'/'fuck me yourself you coward'/'fine I will see if I don't!!!!'/'oh yeah??? do it then!!!!!' kind of way. the vibes are indescribable and unhinged on both of their parts.

How to install Immich on a Synology NAS using Container Manager / Docker Compose

Get yourself a self hosted version of Google Photos on a Synology NAS. But not Synology Photos. But you could use both. Visit immich.app if you want to get more info about their work.

If you're interested in accessing Immich out of your home network the safest way to set up a VPN on your Synology NAS. I recommend Tailscale. If you really want a custom URL try looking up videos about using reverse proxy (settings..  login portal..  advanced..  reverse proxy) and SSL certificates / Let's Encrypt.

If you want to use your existing library of photos you can check out Immich's website and go to Docs / Features / Libraries and scroll down to Mount Docker Volumes (but also probably ready the stuff before that but maybe not but probably). It's not the easiest task in the world. But doable. I believe in you.

of COURSE you would choose to be this messy, you lil rat. <3 i will be kind enough to not name the server, it's a general Batfamily server i found on Disboard. most Bafam discord servers tend to be... anti leaning so it's something i sort of expect, but this one has a "ship advisory list", including ships you're not allowed to share media of (like fanfic or fanart) and if you discuss the ship you can be told to stop talking about it. and there were the typical ships you'd expect like Joker/Harley, BatJokes, and ofc a "no proships" umbrella ban. but some of the ships fucking baffled me. like canon ships were on this list. ships i to this day can't figure out why they'd be banned. the top ships of the list that just *got me* in terms of "... what is bad about this ship???" were

when BETADET ultimately does get let in (for the first time) she does exactly what someone of her size and sheer power would do: destroy the world, including her acolytes. it's after this devastation BETADET makes two decisions; to restrain herself in a tiny human form and learn their behaviors, and become a betty proper, BETty, since simons seem to be so fond of those.

her main issue is she has very little grasp on humans, their biology, their social norms, nothing.

no longer tethered to her home dimension, the space inbetween the spaces inbetween, she goes on a hunt to find a simon who will take her- her human form limits many of her abilities (she can't see multiple realities here) and she tends to speak with a flat tone, rarely emoting as it is a human behavior and her only real emotes are >8( and 8|. when she smiles (and it took so long to make it look natural) that is her ULTIMATE RIZZ.
