#ThrowbackThursday to way back in 2012 when I was able to spend time with an incredible team doing koala conservation research. The work was all based on St. Bees Island, off the coast of Queensland Australia. The goal was to radio collar several adults to track movement and habitat use bury the koalas. If the adult being collared was a female with a joey, someone had to comfort the joey. Needless to say I volunteered.
