me: -but there’s more, because at the same there was CompuServe which was originally marketed to businesses for quick communication, and business stuff I don’t care about, but then they expanded and introduced a personal-use service that you accessed via phone line, and you could hook it up to most monitors even TVs. It really helped lay the foundation of what the internet was to become. Online chat forums, games, a search engine, you really see its influence everywhere in future internet providers…

me: Now Excel is interesting because as it is now completely ubiquitous with spreadsheets, and it was a groundbreaking piece of programming at the time of its release, it was actually Lotus 1-2-3 and Visi- *and I’m shot*
