Not that I hold a grudge... I just want to say i really love your narrator design! I don't have vitiligo but i do have a giant birthmark on my left arm (as in a good 1/2 of it is a mole)

I've always been uncomfortable with drawing with it because ~body-image~ but your art has actually really helped! I started by giving one of the characters a birthmark in the same spot and now I actually drew it on my art sona

It kinda silly but i am really greatful that you gave your narrator vitiligo because it made me feel more comfortable with my own skin condition and i wanted you to know how much your art means to me

Could I ask for tips on how to write kisses?

Writing The Perfect Kiss Scene

#1 Find the RIGHT moment

We all know what I mean! The "zing" when the character's faces are get close enough must come unexpected (but) when both of them are looking for romance/comfort.

For example:

Tripping over each other in the hallway

Person A covering their face with their hands and Person B prying them off, their eyes meeting...

Sitting next to each other in the library, elbows touching, and they happen to turn around to face each other...

Find a natural way to bring your characters the romantic atmosphere!

#2 Noticing the Other Person

It's natural to to see someone in a different way when there's romantic vibe pulsating in the air. Maybe your character notices that their crush has a speck of green in their eyes they didn't notice before.

#3 Build Ups

Describe how the characters feel moments before their lips touch. This includes things like racing hearts, sweaty palms, unsteady breathing. etc.

#4 Feeling all Self-Conscious

If you're writing a first-person POV or want to portray the nervous excitement of kissing a love interest for the first time, you can afford to have your character be distracted by how they feel inside, or worrying about how they smell/look, etc.

Maybe they feel like it's too early in the relationship to kiss

They're still thinking about that annoying math problem

Did I apply my new cherry-flavored chapstick? etc.

This should come in the same beat as the "notice the other person", heightening the romance tension between the characters.

Once they get closer and the kiss actually happens, these worries will melt away!

#4 Describing the Details

In most cases, it's best to keep things understated (especially in regards to tongues)

tongues cannot "tangle" or "battle" or "swish around"...please, no.

Focus on the lips and how the characters move (like hugging, pushing the other against a wall, breathing, etc.), adding the tongue as an afterthought.

Don't get too exicted about taste.

No, her tongue didn't taste like fresh roses and peaches, unless she was eating peach candy right before the kiss.

Focus on other sensations other than taste: especially touch, heat. the tickle of his breath on her cheekc, etc. Or even the smell of shampoo.

#5 The Pullaway + Reaction

Does the kiss end naturally, or does something else interrupt them?

How do the characters react: do they blush, say something, hug he other person, or run away with a deep blush? For couples, they can even tease the other.

Chandler watches Monica talk on the phone with her mother, and cannot understand how, how this keeps happening.

For all the mess his parents are, for all the ways they embarass him and make him feel like he's the elder one, they never, ever said a bad word to him ( doesn't necessarily mean that they showered him with genuine love and care and affection, caught up as they often were in their petty war-of-tug with him as the rope ).

Monica's mother, judging by all he has heard and witnessed in the years he knows her and Ross, never said a good word to her.

Which makes no sense to him.

Not only Monica is one of the most amazing people he knows – beautiful, kind, smart, so very patient in spite of what her sometimes short temper might suggest, a great cook, a stunning woman... all the praise a person can get, Monica is more than deserving of it – but the idea that a mother would so belittle her own daughter, would make her feel so small and worthless and ashamed, just feels inconceivable to him.

Who does that?!

And every time he sees Monica talk with her mother or hear what her mother said to a third party about her or mention the way her mother treats her, sees how small and defeated she suddenly looks, Chandler feels this wave of protectiveness rise inside of him.

He wants to protect her.

He wants to make her mother see how wrong she is, he wants to make her apologise to Monica, he wants to make Mrs Geller do better.

He wants to wrap Monica up in his arms and shield her from the whole world, or from her mother's poisonous words at the very least.

He cannot actually make her mother do anything, he has no right, unfortunately, to put other people's mothers in their place, but he can do the second thing, or at least try to.

So when Monica sets the phone back down on the base, her shoulders slumped, her eyes glistening, Chandler walks up to her and wordlessly pulls her into a hug, as natural as breathing to him.

On nights like these, the urge hits you the most.

You’re already in bed, wearing one of his old shirts and little else. You’re waiting for Dean, watching him finish brushing his teeth. He wraps it up by splashing some water on his face.

He stops for a moment, with his hands on the edges of the sink. He looks at his reflection and rubs a hand over the thick stubble on his face.

It’s halfway to beard territory. He needs a trim, he’s probably thinking.

(You don’t mind a little extra scruff.)

He hesitates, looking deeper at his own reflection. You notice the lines around his tired eyes, the weight of the last hunt still heavy on his shoulders. It's weighing on yours too, having carved out another small notch in your heart.

But you also know how many more layers this man carries, including the ones he adds himself.

“Dean,” you prompt quietly.

His head turns in your direction, and you give him a smile, beckoning him over.

Again, he hesitates. But he goes to you. After dipping his side of the bed with his weight, he smoothes a hand over your hair in affection. He takes off his father’s watch; the last piece of the hunter’s armor before he lays down on his back beside you. The old metal and leather watch clunks on the nightstand.

He then opens an arm to welcome you over, where you routinely find a place against his side.

“Come ‘ere,” he murmurs, his voice low and gravel. Your lips curve, but you gently push his arm back down to his side.

“Turn over,” you say, making a rolling gesture with your finger. Dean’s brows knit together in confusion, but he’s just curious enough to heed the encouragement of your hands on his arm and his back. He turns onto his side, facing away from you.

You settle yourself higher on your pillows, and you guide him backwards, until he’s resting against your soft upper body. You wrap your arms over his broad shoulders, and your hand moves, soothing across his chest. Even now, you feel the tension in his frame.

“Relax,” you say in a near whisper. You press a lingering kiss to his cheek. “I’ve always wanted to be the big spoon.”

A smile raises the corners of Dean’s lips. He even chuckles, shaking both of you.

“Yeah? Feels kinda weird,” he admits. He doesn’t think he’s been held like this since he was a kid.

“Well, give it a minute,” you say, with a bit of cheekiness.

Then you sigh and settle into this yourself. When your arms cross over his chest, Dean grabs your wrist, holding you there. He lets out another deep breath of his own.

Okay, he agrees, if only in his mind. Not bad.

He does relax against you, inhaling the floral scent of your body wash, feeling the tickle of your hair on his shoulder, and the gentle rise and fall of your breath. It's all familiar, and reminds him that he's home.

Dean leans over to turn off the light on his nightstand, but he returns to your embrace. He reaches back, just to stroke your cheek in a silent thanks. Smiling in the dark, you lay another kiss on the side of his head, and you close your eyes.

Dean does the same. He lets your warmth seep into his body, releasing the tension of a shitty hunt. He tries to let go of the faces he couldn’t save.

And he actually rests.

Glowy Dew's Skincare Functional for The Sims 2

I finally found out how to do an overlay box and managed to make this object. The original item is from the 4to2 Bathroom Kit by LordCrumps (I changed the guid so you can have both deco and functional version in your game, all recolors included), while masks and eye patches are from IcedMango and jsasimmer.

With this object your teen to elder, male and female, sims can apply 5 different kind of Face Masks and 2 Eye Patches. When they apply them, they perform the animation of the Zit Cream and the Comfort will increase. When they wash out the masks, the Hygiene motive will increase.

The object can be found in Plumbings-Miscellaneous section of Buy Mode. It costs 40 simoleon and every applied mask costs 20 simoleon.
