The selling of tickets at @BookMyShow for the concert of @Coldplay for its India tour in 2025 was a big phenomenon. A huge number of people were on the platform to purchase tickets for the event happening in DY Patil Stadium.

International celebrities coming to India to do concerts is not a new thing. People like Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber, and other people have come and performed for their fans previously.

But this time it was different as I saw things happening in front of my very eyes.

1. People got to know about the concert.

2. People who were fans and some were just fads joined the line to book tickets.

3. Each and everyone sat with one or more devices to book tickets.

4. There was a delay of more than 20 minutes from the platform's side to open the ticket window.

5. Waiting lists started to show up as 13000+ for some and went on to 108000, 124000, 626000, 770000, 999999, 1040000, and so on.

6. The Hindu reports that 13 million fans logged in to book concert tickets.

7. There were 2 slots initially.

8. People went gaga.

9. There were different price ranges for the seating area, starting from INR 2,500 to 35,000.
