The first thing I heard before even pulling cards is The Party's Just Begun by the Cheetah Girls and that feels like a sign that you should be having fun, dancing and living your life to the fullest! Your life can be so beautiful if you let it.

You know much more than you think that you do. I feel like you are back and forth between losing faith in yourself and feeling like you are finally breaking through. (I know what that's like, I've been there too much.) You've got to cut yourself some slack. Yeah, it's not perfect now but, you have made so much progress and that is important. You are so much closer to the finish line than you realize. Don't give up now. You've worked too hard and have come too far to give up now.

Looking at the Temperance tarot today and realizing. Upright Temperance is very Trey Clover in his day-to-day handling of things (peacekeeping, moderation, carefulness and weighing perspectives). This line from Biddy Tarot even alludes to alchemy (one of his strengths) in a way that sounds similar to baking.

“There is alchemy within Temperance. This Tarot card is about blending, mixing, and combining diverse elements in a way that creates something new and even more valuable than its separate parts.”

And then dreaming!Trey is Temperance Reversed. A period of excess leading to a wake up call (literally).

I’ve been trying to think of a good format to draw his new SSR outfit in and Temperance Reversed Tarot format might just be it. (If I can get out of my art funk.)

Major Arcana Card IV: The Emperor

Upright Emperor Meaning

It’s all about control when it comes to the Emperor, for this card means authority, regulation, organization and a fatherliness. The Emperor represents a strategic thinker who sets out plans that he must see through. He is a symbol of the masculine principle - the paternal figure in life that gives structure, creates rules and systems, and imparts knowledge. Where the Empress's desire for their kingdom is to create happiness, the emperor desires to foster honor and discipline. He guides with a firm hand, following the calling of the crown above all else. Though he is a ruler, he understands that to reign is also to serve - thus he acts rationally and according to what is for the greater good of the kingdom.

Studio Update July 5

No excuses, I am way behind schedule on the tarot deck. Progress is being made, it's just slower than expected. Part of it is, I think I need to redesign the 3 of cups. It just doesn't work in the set.

Also, I've turned some of my warm ups into these little stamps. I know I posted one right when I did it but I may end up turning these into stickers when we're closer to the Fall season.

Now, for entirely new stuff! Soon, there will be some botanical products coming soon.

First, I've been collecting and pressing local wildflowers that I'm planning to sell without treatments so you can use them how you want. Below is the first run of St. John's Wort, White Clover, Rose Campion, Daisy, Forget-Me-Nots, and Hawks'-Beard.

I've also been drying and working with avocado pits to create buttons:

Finally, my favorite summer craft project: Rosary Beads. Did you know old rosary beads were made from rose petals? In fact, it's in the name; rosary means from roses.

These are just rose petals from my garden and filtered water. No added oils or waxes.

I found a new way to deal with my anxiety and stage fright.

Before, I imagined my anxiety as an object that sparked up during inconvenient moments. And so, I mentally tried to put it in a box with chains all around it and sink it to the bottom of a lake or sth. All the while shouting at it to leave me alone.

But then, I had an epiphany. My friend is into Tarot and while she was explaining stuff to me, I saw this card that, at first glance, looked like a woman petting an irate lion and making it calm down. The card was called Strength. And for a moment, I looked at the red lion-like creature, and, suddenly, my anxiety gained a new form.

Now every time my anxiety spikes up, instead of putting it through all the abuse I did before, I try "talking" to it, for lack of a better word. I imagine this scared animal and try reassuring it that, yes, it looks scary and threatening, but it's really not. Then I pet it until it turns into a kitten.

And surprise, surprise, it actually works far better.

And then I had a thought. This is so stupidly anime, I can't believe I didn't think of this earlier.

Because really? The monster inside your head? Naruto. Black Clover. Bleach. Probably a crap ton of others I can't remember rn.
