By Patricia McCarthy
“You’ve got to take responsibility for what happened in your administration.”
Oops! The above quote may be Kamala Harris’s most devastating, grievous error in her sit-down with Bret Baier last night.
We can be sure that those words escaped her mouth before she realized what she was saying. She was referring to the transgender surgeries that may have taken place during the Trump administration even though the former president opposes such mutilations for what is clearly a mental disorder. With that quote, she admitted that she and Biden are indeed responsible for
(1) The horrific withdrawal from Afghanistan.
(2) The mind-numbing, tragic consequences of their open border. At least ten million migrants have entered the country unvetted, thousands of criminals among them. Sex- and human-trafficking has exploded as a result. So has crime across the board.
(3) The war in Ukraine — millions lives lost there.
(4) The Hamas attack on Israel, due to their obvious anti-Israel bias.
(5) The irresponsible spending that gave us the highest inflation in decades.
(6) The evisceration of our military with DIE and transgenderism.
(7) the gift of billions of dollars to Iran that has funded the subsequent terrorism against Israel.
(8) The lawfare unleashed on Trump, all of it manufactured out of whole cloth to take him off the board.
(9) The weaponization of the DOJ, the FBI, the CIA, etc. that has led to peaceful protesters being imprisoned for exercising their First Amendment rights.
(10) The fact that Joe Biden is owned by the Chinese Communist Party — he owes his wealth to them.
(11) The administration’s disastrous response to the hurricanes.
By her standard, Harris must “take responsibility” for all of the above.
Harris was pathetically unprepared for this interview, even though it was she who wanted it. She probably does not ever watch Fox News and has avoided that outlet based on hearsay. She likely knows that it is owned by the Murdochs and assumed that Baier would be appropriately submissive and agreeable. He could have been, as he is not a Trump-supporter. Many of us blame him for calling Arizona for Biden at 9:00 on Election Night 2020. That was a very anti-Trump thing to have done. Many Trump-supporters stopped watching Fox News after that.

The Associated Press: 22 attorneys general oppose 3M settlement over water systems contamination with 'forever chemicals'
TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. (AP) — Twenty-two attorneys general urged a federal court Wednesday to reject a proposed $10.3 billion settlement over contamination of U.S. public drinking water systems with potentially dangerous chemicals, saying it lets manufacturer 3M Co. off too easily.
The deal announced in June doesn’t give individual water suppliers enough time to determine how much money they would get and whether it would cover their costs of removing the compounds known collectively as PFAS, said the officials with 19 states, Washington, D.C., and two territories. In some cases the agreement could shift liability from the company to providers, they said.
“While I appreciate the effort that went into it, the proposed settlement in its current form does not adequately account for the pernicious damage that 3M has done in so many of our communities,” said California Attorney General Rob Bonta, leader of the multistate coalition.
3M spokesman Sean Lynch said the agreement “will benefit U.S.-based public water systems nationwide that provide drinking water to a vast majority of Americans” without further litigation.
“It is not unusual for there to be objections regarding significant settlement agreements,” Lynch said. “We will continue to work cooperatively to address questions about the terms of the resolution.”
The company, based in St. Paul, Minnesota, manufactures per- and polyfluorinated substances — a broad class of chemicals used in nonstick, water- and grease-resistant products such as clothing and cookware, as well as some firefighting foams.
Described as “forever chemicals” because they don’t degrade naturally in the environment, PFAS have been linked to a variety of health problems, including liver and immune-system damage and some cancers.
3M has said it plans to stop making them by the end of 2025.
Some 300 communities have sued 3M and other companies over water pollution from the compounds. A number of states, airports, firefighter training facilities and private well owners also have pending cases.
They have been consolidated in U.S. District Court in Charleston, South Carolina, where the proposed settlement was filed last month.
Although the company put its value at $10.3 billion, an attorney for the water providers said it could reach as high as $12.5 billion, depending on how many detect PFAS during testing the Environmental Protection Agency has ordered over the next three years.
The law firm representing the water providers did not immediately respond Wednesday to messages seeking comment.
EPA in March proposed strict limits on two common types, PFOA and PFOS, and said it wanted to regulate four others.
In addition to California, states urging Judge Richard Gergel to reject the deal included Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont and Wisconsin. Also opposed were Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the Northern Mariana Islands.
In a court filing, the attorneys general said it would force nearly all public water providers nationwide to participate unless they withdraw individually — even those that haven’t filed suits or tested for PFAS.
“Troublingly, they would have to make their opt-out decisions without knowing how much they would actually receive and, in many cases, before knowing the extent of contamination in their water supplies and the cost of remediating it,” the officials said in a statement.
A provision in the proposed deal would shift liability from 3M to water suppliers that don’t opt out, the statement said. That could enable the company to seek compensation from providers if sued over cancer or other illnesses in PFAS-affected communities, it said.
“As such, the proposed settlement is worth far less than the advertised $10.5 billion to $12.5 billion,” the attorneys general said.
The attorneys general did not take a position on a separate $1.18 billion deal to resolve PFAS complaints against DuPont de Nemours Inc. and spinoffs Chemours Co. and Corteva Inc.

LETTERS FROM AN AMERICAN
May 6, 2023
HEATHER COX RICHARDSON
MAY 6, 2023
For years now, after one massacre or another, I have written some version of the same article, explaining that the nation’s current gun free-for-all is not traditional but, rather, is a symptom of the takeover of our nation by a radical extremist minority. The idea that massacres are “the price of freedom,” as right-wing personality Bill O’Reilly said in 2017 after the Mandalay Bay massacre in Las Vegas, in which a gunman killed 60 people and wounded 411 others, is new, and it is about politics, not our history. The Second Amendment to the Constitution, on which modern-day arguments for widespread gun ownership rest, is one simple sentence: “A well regulated militia, being necessary for the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.” There’s not a lot to go on about what the Framers meant, although in their day, to “bear arms” meant to be part of an organized militia. As the Tennessee Supreme Court wrote in 1840, “A man in the pursuit of deer, elk, and buffaloes might carry his rifle every day for forty years, and yet it would never be said of him that he had borne arms; much less could it be said that a private citizen bears arms because he has a dirk or pistol concealed under his clothes, or a spear in a cane.” Today’s insistence that the Second Amendment gives individuals a broad right to own guns comes from two places. One is the establishment of the National Rifle Association in New York in 1871, in part to improve the marksmanship skills of American citizens who might be called on to fight in another war, and in part to promote in America the British sport of elite shooting, complete with hefty cash prizes in newly organized tournaments. Just a decade after the Civil War, veterans jumped at the chance to hone their former skills. Rifle clubs sprang up across the nation. By the 1920s, rifle shooting was a popular American sport. “Riflemen” competed in the Olympics, in colleges, and in local, state, and national tournaments organized by the NRA. Being a good marksman was a source of pride, mentioned in public biographies, like being a good golfer. In 1925, when the secretary of the NRA apparently took money from ammunition and arms manufacturers, the organization tossed him out and sued him. NRA officers insisted on the right of citizens to own rifles and handguns but worked hard to distinguish between law-abiding citizens who should have access to guns for hunting and target shooting and protection, and criminals and mentally ill people, who should not. In 1931, amid fears of bootlegger gangs, the NRA backed federal legislation to limit concealed weapons; prevent possession by criminals, the mentally ill and children; to require all dealers to be licensed; and to require background checks before delivery. It backed the 1934 National Firearms Act, and parts of the 1968 Gun Control Act, designed to stop what seemed to be America’s hurtle toward violence in that turbulent decade. But in the mid-1970s a faction in the NRA forced the organization away from sports and toward opposing “gun control.” It formed a political action committee (PAC) in 1975, and two years later it elected an organization president who abandoned sporting culture and focused instead on “gun rights.” This was the second thing that led us to where we are today: leaders of the NRA embraced the politics of Movement Conservatism, the political movement that rose to combat the business regulations and social welfare programs that both Democrats and Republicans embraced after World War II. Movement Conservatives embraced the myth of the American cowboy as a white man standing against the “socialism” of the federal government as it sought to level the economic playing field between Black Americans and their white neighbors. Leaders like Arizona Senator Barry Goldwater personified the American cowboy, with his cowboy hat and opposition to government regulation, while television Westerns showed good guys putting down bad guys without the interference of the government. In 1972 the Republican platform had called for gun control to restrict the sale of “cheap handguns,” but in 1975, as he geared up to challenge President Gerald R. Ford for the 1976 presidential nomination, Movement Conservative hero Ronald Reagan took a stand against gun control. In 1980, the Republican platform opposed the federal registration of firearms, and the NRA endorsed a presidential candidate—Reagan—for the first time.
When President Reagan took office, a new American era, dominated by Movement Conservatives, began. And the power of the NRA over American politics grew. In 1981 a gunman trying to kill Reagan shot and paralyzed his press secretary, James Brady, and wounded Secret Service agent Tim McCarthy and police officer Thomas Delahanty. After the shooting, then-representative Charles Schumer (D-NY) introduced legislation that became known as the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act, or the Brady Bill, to require background checks before gun purchases. Reagan, who was a member of the NRA, endorsed the bill, but the NRA spent millions of dollars to defeat it. After the Brady Bill passed in 1993, the NRA paid for lawsuits in nine states to strike it down. Until 1959, every single legal article on the Second Amendment concluded that it was not intended to guarantee individuals the right to own a gun. But in the 1970s, legal scholars funded by the NRA had begun to argue that the Second Amendment did exactly that. In 1997, when the Brady Bill cases came before the Supreme Court as Printz v. United States, the Supreme Court declared parts of the measure unconstitutional. Now a player in national politics, the NRA was awash in money from gun and ammunition manufacturers. By 2000 it was one of the three most powerful lobbies in Washington. It spent more than $40 million on the 2008 election. In that year, the landmark Supreme Court decision of District of Columbia v. Heller struck down gun regulations and declared that the Second Amendment protects an individual’s right to keep and bear arms. Increasingly, NRA money backed Republican candidates. In 2012 the NRA spent $9 million in the presidential election, and in 2014 it spent $13 million. Then, in 2016, it spent over $50 million on Republican candidates, including more than $30 million on Trump’s effort to win the White House. This money was vital to Trump, since many other Republican super PACs refused to back him. The NRA spent more money on Trump than any other outside group, including the leading Trump super PAC, which spent $20.3 million. The unfettered right to own and carry weapons has come to symbolize the Republican Party’s ideology of individual liberty. Lawmakers and activists have not been able to overcome Republican insistence on gun rights despite the mass shootings that have risen since their new emphasis on guns. Tonight, I am, once again, posting yet another version of this article.

I am a tall, overweight transfemme person with large feet. According to the shoe manufacturers, the pants makers, and the shirt companies, I am mandated to be Ugly as Fucking Shit™.
I can buy heels...at the fetish shops that cater to 'crossdressers.' To buy shoes that are appropriate for work I have to purchase from a company that normally sells dildos modelled after animal parts and bondage gear.
Think about that for a moment. Really rotate it in your mind. In order for me to buy work appropriate shoes I have to visit a website that is labelled right on the tin, "Not Safe For Work."
I can buy dresses...that are functionally minidresses on me. Where on other women they go to about their knees, on me they go to mid-thigh at best. I have precisely one (1) dress that goes down to my ankles and it's made of a material that traps heat. I live in Phoenix, Arizona and the one time I can wear that dress without worrying about sweating my own bodyweight in water is a 2-3 week period in the winter when the temperatures drop to the sub-50 (F) range. I either look like a nun or I'm slutting it up, there is no in between.
My 'casual' shoe selections are crocs or men's fitness shoes. My underwear is granny panties or fetish gear. My blouses are whatever colors they couldn't sell in smaller sizes or patterns that should have been burned when the 70s were over. Belts are diamonds in the rough. Skirts are ill fitting at the best of times.
And forget finding pantyhose. The largest sizes are about 4 inches too short and will usually tear before I've worn them for a full day.
To all the assholes in the fashion industry that think that I'm not allowed cute or fun or sexy or EVEN JUST NICE CLOTHES just because I'm outside what your narrow assed mind can conceive? FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU!!!
We don’t talk enough about the systemic health effects of casual fatphobia and how much they fucking skew the data to the point where we literally cannot know how much outcomes are actually related to fatness and how much they are related to society not being designed for fat people, like literal design.
My best friend cannot find a bra.
She’s fat. We won’t get into the ~why~ here because it honestly wouldn’t matter whether it was “all her fault” or whether it was a result of outside forces like genes and such, she still deserves a goddamn fucking bra that fits.
And she cannot find a bra.
She’s short and fat, and Fat Bras are usually full cup, but because she’s short the full cups are usually too tall, or the armbands around them are too tall, to the point where what’ll fit around her chest and over her boobs will also dig up into her arms or have such high coverage that she literally cannot wear a shirt with a neckline high enough. Any bra that goes out enough goes too high.
This affects her ability to find clothing, impacting her ability to go outside sometimes, because she has this tiny selection of bras and she constantly has to wash them and when they’re gone she has no idea when she’ll next be able to find another unicorn bra. They appear in a flash usually in startups that die soon after, and COVID has killed most the small businesses remaining where she had even a hint of a chance of finding a fitting bra.
So she wears bras that don’t fit. Or she doesn’t leave the house. One gives her back pain. The other is, obviously, not very active. She likes to be active.
If she brings it up, people suggest breast reduction surgery.
But the thing is, with a good bra, she does not get back pain.
But if it’s that hard to find a good bra, they say, wouldn’t a reduction just be easier?
Wouldn’t it be easier for you to chop off part of your flesh, they say, then for us to cut fabric and underwire to more sizes? As if that is normal. As if that isn’t horrifying.
It’s not just bras. It’s chairs. It’s benches. It’s goddamn shoes. It’s seatbelts. It’s exercise equipment - I just got an exercise bike for Christmas. I had to shop around to find an affordable one that was also rated to take my level of fat. If I were 100 pounds heavier, which some people are? I don’t think any equipment would have existed in a price range that any working person could expect to afford. I don’t think most people even look at the weight ratings on chairs and couches and furniture. Once you start? They are lower than you think. There are absolutely 100% people you love in your life - whether really tall men or just average kinda overweight fat people - who should not be using the things they are using. Who are not getting support from their mattress, their footwear, their office chair. It might be you! You might be thinking “but I am average size!”, but the amount of furniture out there that’s only weighted to about 200lbs? Or 175??? It’s SO MUCH MORE THAN YOU REALIZE. Get into the Proper Fat? The 350lb, 400lb, 500lb fat? There’s virtually nothing.
Seatbelts are not tested for fat bodies and seatbelt extenders aren’t regulated.
We know about the problems with too small a blood pressure cuff. With too low a medicine dose. With no MRI a really fat body can fit in for a thousand miles.
We know, from multiple studies on multiple oppressed communities, that social bias by itself, with zero other compounding factors, can give people worse health outcomes.
Now add up
+ one of the social biases with the least pushback even from the educated liberal set with
+ having a world that is literally not made for you. Where you cannot get clothes, furniture, or transportation in a way that will actually accommodate you,
+ where society is constantly blaming you for this. And even if you somehow (and if you know how, please tell me) manage to retain some sense of self worth and optimism and determination despite all that
+ that’s not gonna magically give you access to the daily supplies a person needs in their home and out in public that’ll make living safe and healthy life literally physically possible.
If you’re really so concerned about fat people’s health start a bra company. If you’re really so concerned about fat people’s health mandate changes to seatbelt requirements. If you’re really so concerned about fat people’s health have a variety of chairs in your waiting room with at least some being properly Fat Rated. If you’re really so concerned about fat people’s health, make it easier for fat people to be active by making exercise equipment that fits them, swimwear that’ll actually stay on them, athletic shoes that can bear them. If you’re really so concerned about fat people’s health ask they be included in more medical trials. If you’re really so concerned about fat people’s health, promote fat visibility and fat people loving their bodies - because hating yourself has literally never been good for anyone’s health.
If you’re using “concern for health” as a shield to allow you to judge and criticize strangers, you don’t give a fuck about anyone’s health. You’re just an asshole who prefers a veneer of respectability when you bully people. You’re hateful and we can see right through you.
But fatphobia isn’t just bullying. It isn’t just judgment from strangers. It isn’t just medical neglect and medical bias. Even if we could wave a wand and make all that go away, my best friend still wouldn’t have a bra that fits, people still wouldn’t have a chair that supports them, a seatbelt that protects them. It’s literally engineered in. And it slowly kills people day by day by day.

Audien Atom Hearing Aid Review
Audien Atom is a discrete over-the-counter (OTC) hearing aid offering manual volume adjustment and rechargeability. While Atom is relatively inexpensive, those interested in versatility and speech enhancement will want to explore other products.
Product Highlights
Audien Atom hearing aids are relatively inexpensive and the 45 day risk-free trial makes it easier for you to test them on your ears.
They can be purchased conveniently online and shipped to your door.
I found the charging base solid and easy to use. The 20 hours battery life is also impressive and should last all day.
Drawbacks
Atom do not offer moisture resistance so you will need to be cautious of perspiration, showers, and other water sources.
While Atom are relatively small, I did not find them comfortable and their ear tips did not create a great seal in my ears.
Atom do not offer advanced features such as automatic adjustments, noise reduction, tinnitus managements, wireless connectivity, or an on-ear hearing assessment.
The manual volume control is quite antiquated as it requires a small flat head screwdriver. Furthermore, adjustments must be made to both devices, as they are not wirelessly synced, making it more time consuming and difficult to match settings.
Who is Audien Atom For?
Minimalist, Minimal Activity, and Mild Hearing Boost - Atom hearing aids do not offer many features, adjustments, or advanced noise reduction. They are basic amplifiers with a single volume dial and are therefore best suited for those looking for a slight boost in clarity in quiet environments.
Tight budget - At $99 Atom are some of the cheapest rechargeable OTC hearing aids available. They are also the most cost effective hearing aid offered by Audien Hearing.
Do-It-Yourself Warrior - Atom can be purchased from Audien, or other online consumer electronics retailers, and shipped directly to your door. They do not require a prescription, doctor's visit, or hearing assessment.
What is Audien Atom?
Audien Hearing is a manufacturer of personal sound amplification products (PSAPs) and over-the-counter (OTC) hearing aids. They focus on offering low-cost hearing solutions directly to consumers with a mild-to-moderate perceived hearing loss. Meaning, Audien hearing devices can be purchased online and do not require a hearing evaluation from an audiologist. For example, Atom hearing aids can be ordered directly from Audien’s website for $99.
Their product line currently includes two PSAPs, the EV1 and EV3. These devices are currently listed as hearing aids on Audien’s website though they are not FDA-registered. The Atom and Atom Pro however, are Audien’s latest products and are Class 1 FDA-registered hearing aids. While the components for all of their products come from China, Audien states that manufacturing and testing takes place in their Arizona based headquarters.
Unboxing Atom
In the box you will find two Atom hearing aids, a cleaning tool, wax filters, a cloth carrying case, a charger, USB-C cable with wall adapter, and user manuals. Atom will need to be charged before use with the included base; however, no other setup is required.
Audien Atom are relatively small in-the-ear (ITE) style hearing aids weighing in at just 1.9 grams. This is less than many other OTC and smart earbuds of the same style and lends to their lightweight feel in ear. Apple AirPods Pro 2 for example weigh over twice as much at 4 grams.
Comfort and Invisibility
Atom are relatively comfortable but I did not find the overall shape to be “ear-gonomic”. Both the left and right ear pieces are interchangeable having the same shape. While this may remove confusion for some users, I found it to compromise fit leaving the rear portion to protrude slightly from my ears. This is undesirable for those in search of a truly discreet hearing aid. It also seemed to reduce occlusion, at least in my ears, though various ear tips are included which can improve this depending on your preferences and needs. Retention and comfort were overall not a problem for me though some verified online reviews have noted retention issues—likely related with what has been discussed previously.
Limited Controls
Audien Hearing has included an on/off switch on their Atom hearing aids which can help reduce battery drain when not being worn as well as feedback during insertion. Atom also has a small volume dial which can be adjusted with a flathead screwdriver. The end of the included cleaning brush can be used for this though other household tools will work if small enough. Atom have only one program so no other adjustments are available.
While simplicity has its benefits, manual adjustment of Atom hearing aid left me longing for wireless app control. The volume dial must be adjusted separately as the left and right hearing aids do not communicate wirelessly. Due to the size and nature of adjustment Atom must be removed from the ear to make a volume change. It can therefore take extra time to dial-in equal volume settings between devices.
While testing Atom for HearAdvisor™, different volume settings were needed for each Atom hearing aid to reach the same acoustic output. This suggests some variability between one Atom hearing aid and the next. Lastly, the dial is small which may be challenging for those with low vision and or dexterity issues.
I did not experience any issues once volume adjustments were set. The small volume dial also means you will not accidentally push it while inserting the hearing aids into your ear.
No Wireless Connectivity
Audien hearing products do not currently offer wireless connectivity such as Bluetooth streaming or remote phone App control. Those interested in these features may be interested in other in-the-ear style products such as Jabra Enhance Pro, Sennheiser Conversation Clear Plus, or Sony CRE-E10.
Power & Rechargeability
Atom hearing aids offer up to 20 hours of use from their lithium ion rechargeable battery. While we did not directly test this in the HearAdvisor™ lab, I did not experience any issues and the battery life always outlasted my testing needs.
Atom can be charged by placing them in the included charging base. Remember to power the base with the USB-C cable and wall adapter. Atom magnetically lock into place and will take 4 to 6 hours to charge from a fully depleted battery. Audien Hearing included a nice feature in their Atom model where the devices automatically turn off while charging. This can help signal a good connection and also stops the annoying whistling, or feedback, that can happen when hearing aids are next to one another. Lastly, as Atom hearing aids are interchangeable they can be placed in either bay of the charger and an LED on the base will turn green when they are ready to go.
Lab Testing with HearAdvisor™
When tested in the HearAdvisor Lab, Audien Hearing’s Atom hearing aid showed some speech enhancement benefits in both quiet and noisy situations. The benefits were more pronounced in quieter settings and the hearing aids were found to have a less occluding fit which translates to a more natural voice quality when you speak. However, the speech enhancement benefits observed were limited and considerably less than average scores for other OTC and prescription devices.
Figure 1 shows how Atom compares to similar Amazon-sold hearing aids as well as the average score of professionally tuned Rx hearing aids. The differences observed can largely be attributed to poor high frequency gain—Atom hearing aids have a limited bandwidth offering little to no amplification above roughly 1500 Hz. This falls short of the 2000 to 4000 Hz region which is most important for speech clarity and intelligibility2. Further, Atom does not appear to offer any advanced signal processing which can influence performance in louder noisy situations.
The Audien Atom Pro
Audien Hearing also offers the Atom Pro for $249, featuring a slightly smaller size and longer battery life. It does not seem to offer any improvements in sound processing or manual adjustments. There are also many off-brand products available online of similar price and quality. Figure 1 above names a few found on Amazon and compares their performance to the Audien Hearing Atom.
What Other Procucts Should I Consider?
Those interested in ITE style hearing devices with more advanced features can look to Apple AirPods Pro 2 ($199), Nuheara IQBuds2 Max ($499), Jabra Enhance Pro ($799), and the Sennheiser Conversation Clear Plus ($799). All of these devices offer more advanced features such as wireless app control, audio streaming, and on-ear hearing assessments. They were also all tested by HearAdvisor™ and found to offer more benefit than the Atom. The Sennheiser Conversation Clear Plus was recently awarded the 2023 HearAdvisor Expert Choice Award indicating that it was a top performer among the 40-some-odd devices tested in their lab.
One difficulty with all direct-to-consumer OTC products is knowing whether or not they are actually offering you benefit. It is always recommended that you visit a best-practices audiologist for this reason. Regardless, be sure to test any device as much as possible initially and get feedback from those around you to get a sense of the benefits you are receiving.
Final Thoughts on Audien Atom
The biggest drawback of Atom are the lack of adjustments and limited high-frequency amplification. I felt very restricted in my ability to adjust Atom as there is only a volume adjustment at my disposal to account for all the dynamic changes in a typical day. Furthermore, the lack of high-frequency amplification directly affects Atom’s ability to make speech clear.
Atom Hearing Aids are only $99, and for the low cost some individuals may find marginal improvements if they have a mild hearing loss and need a slight boost in quiet one-on-one situations. Outside of these circumstances it is unlikely that the benefits will warrant the expense. Atom are limited in their output, processing, and manual adjustments making them ill fit for dynamic situations and many hearing losses. Again, they were not found to offer significant speech enhancement benefits by HearAdvisor™.
Other devices offering a broader bandwidth, more advanced features, and wireless capabilities will be more capable of meeting the individualized needs of those with hearing loss. These products will come at a higher price, but nowadays there are many effective low-cost options available.
HearAdvisor Disclaimer
HearAdvisor is an independent testing lab that uses specific testing protocols to improve the accuracy, replicability, and reliability of device comparisons. All technologies are programmed or adjusted to best meet the audibility needs for a person with mild sloping to moderate hearing loss. HearAdvisor also uses a series of decision trees, documented in the white paper found on HearAdvisor.com, to select specific listening programs or noise-handling features. As such, the reported data will not reflect device performance reliably across the range of use cases and possible hearing losses. If you have more or less hearing loss, or a different pattern of hearing loss, HearAdvisor’s data and audio samples will not be representative of the performance and sound quality you will experience with hearing aids configured for your own unique needs.

Unlocking Business Potential with Wholesale Pallets in Arizona
In the bustling marketplace of Arizona, the wholesale pallets industry is carving a significant niche for itself. Businesses, both small and large, are finding value in purchasing wholesale pallets to streamline their inventory management, reduce costs, and enhance profitability. This article explores the growing trend of Wholesale Pallets Arizona and how businesses can leverage this opportunity to their advantage.
Understanding Wholesale Pallets
Wholesale pallets are bulk quantities of goods sold at a discounted rate. These goods are typically overstock, customer returns, or liquidation items from major retailers. Companies specializing in wholesale pallets purchase these items in large quantities and then resell them to other businesses or individual buyers at a fraction of the original cost.
The Arizona Market
Arizona's strategic location and robust logistics infrastructure make it an ideal hub for the wholesale pallets industry. Major cities like Phoenix, Tucson, and Mesa serve as central points for distribution, connecting suppliers with a diverse range of buyers. The state's growing population and expanding retail sector further fuel the demand for wholesale pallets.
Benefits for Businesses
Cost Efficiency: One of the primary advantages of buying wholesale pallets is the significant cost savings. Businesses can acquire goods at a much lower price than purchasing directly from manufacturers or retailers. This reduction in procurement costs directly impacts the bottom line, allowing for better profit margins.
Diverse Inventory: Wholesale pallets offer a wide variety of products, ranging from electronics and clothing to home goods and toys. This diversity allows businesses to broaden their inventory without a substantial upfront investment. Retailers can test new products and respond quickly to market trends, staying competitive and relevant.
Sustainability: Purchasing wholesale pallets contributes to sustainability efforts by reducing waste. Many of the items on these pallets would otherwise end up in landfills. By reselling or repurposing these products, businesses can support environmental conservation while also meeting consumer demand for sustainable practices.
Finding Reliable Suppliers
For businesses looking to tap into the wholesale pallets market in Arizona, finding reliable suppliers is crucial. Research is key: look for suppliers with good reputations, transparent pricing, and detailed product descriptions. Online platforms and local trade shows can be excellent resources for connecting with reputable wholesalers.
Case Study: A Local Success Story
Consider the case of a small electronics store in Phoenix that decided to diversify its inventory by purchasing Wholesale Liquidation Pallets Arizona. Initially skeptical, the owner invested in a few pallets containing various electronic gadgets and accessories. Within weeks, the store saw a significant increase in foot traffic and sales, driven by the availability of diverse, high-quality products at competitive prices. The cost savings from buying wholesale allowed the store to offer discounts, attracting more customers and building a loyal client base.
Challenges and Considerations
While the benefits are substantial, businesses must also be aware of the potential challenges. Not all pallets guarantee high-quality goods; there is always a risk of damaged or unsellable items. Therefore, it's essential to inspect pallets thoroughly and understand the return policies of the supplier. Additionally, storage and logistics need careful planning to handle bulk quantities efficiently.

Red Rock Deli Chips
My wife and I recently vacationed in Sedona, AZ, a town known worldwide for its magnificent red rock formations. See the photos. Check out the Visit Sedona website: https://visitsedona.com/.
Per the AAA Arizona and New Mexico Tour Book Guide:
Sedona is nestled in the massive, fire-hued rocks of Red Rock State Park. Thedusty, semi-arid topography is the base for giant, striped monoliths that take on shades from bright red to pale sand and seem to change with each passing cloud or ray of sunshine. So prominent are the buttes and pinnacles that locals have named them. Some of the more popular rock stars are Bell Rock, cathedral Rock, Chimney Rock, Courthouse Butte and Snoopy Rock. Formations in the shape of a castle or merry-go=round can also be spotted. Conveniently, two nuns overlook a chapel. And close by, a submarine surfaces near a mushroom cap.
While shopping in a local grocery store, I explored the chip aisle, as I frequently go when traveling, and found a bag of chips with a brand I had not previously seen, Red Rock Deli. https://www.redrockdeli.com/. Curious as to whether, based on tr brand name, these were manufactured locally as well as whether there might be an interesting backstory to share with you, I carefully read the bag to discover that the chips were manufactured in Purchase, NY. I know that Purchase is the Corporate Headquarters of Pepsi, owner of mega chip brand Frito-Lay. A quick Google search confirmed my theory that these chips are part of the Pepsi family.
https://www.bakingbusiness.com/articles/46009-pepsico-brings-australian-snack-brand-stateside. What is unusual is that most Frito Lay brands normally use Plano, Texas as their location since Plano is the Corporate Headquarters if Frito Lay. The brand originated in Australia in 2010. Frito-Lay bought the company in March of 2018 and later that year brought the brand to the United States.
The moral of the story is that sometimes what you think may be a local brand, may actually be a major brand. This can happen for at least three of the following reasons. Sometimes small companies have an exit strategy of selling to large chip companies. Secondly, large chip companies sometimes create their own small brands to create the impression that the chips are not part of a large conglomerate, but are locally produced. Third, as is the case here, a global company can bring regional brands to other parts of the world. Finally, private label manufacturers may in fact produce the chips, as frequently occurs for grocery store brands. Red Rock Deli Chips are an example of a combination of the first and third factors.
Growing up, a discount men’s clothing brand in the Northeast, Sy Sims, used the tagline “An educated consumer is our best customer.” See the retro commercial.

Online Clothing Store
When owning a clothing brand, many moving parts are involved in perfecting your product and making it desirable for your clientele. Once you have your design, choosing the garments themselves is arguably the most important thing to consider.
Plus, there are many additional customization options for you to choose from when it comes to personalizing and mastering your clothing brand's "vibe."
Seemingly little details can make a BIG difference for you and your brand. These details can include add-on services such as custom hem tags, hang tags, embroidered patches, printed neck tags, bagging, and other unique personalization options.
Real Thread
In case you don't know us, HELLO!
We're Real Thread, an Orlando-based custom t-shirt and apparel company. We sustainably screen print the coolest apparel you ever saw (tees, tanks, totes, hoodies, pants, hats, etc.) and love partnering with clothing brand designers like you to bring your visions to life.
SO… Let us be the first to tell you that Real Thread is here to be your one-stop shop for all things custom apparel.
Real Thread also offers embroidery, fulfillment, and a wide range of add-on services that set us apart from your average print shop. We even have glow-in-the-dark ink that'll make you say "OOOH" and "AHH" and things of that nature.
OH. AND DOG BANDANAS. YEAH. WHO WOULDN'T WANT THAT?!
We also offer over-the-zipper printing, simulated process printing, and tonal printing. With minimums of just 20 garments per order, we're here to help you quickly raise your clothing brand's t-shirt game. Also, we offer fulfillment services! Do you want to learn more? We've got you, fam.
Real Thread screen prints with water-based inks. These inks are superior to the industry standard ink (plastisol ink).
Instead of coating the shirt with a thick layer of plastic, water-based inks dye the garment directly with your print. The ink soaks into the garment's fibers, dying your design INTO the shirt instead of onto it. This results in a super soft and long-lasting impression (literally AND figuratively).
So that's something about us, but there's more in store- ready to rock?
Appliq
Based in Los Angeles and Philadelphia, Apliiq is another excellent custom t-shirt printer for your clothing brand. They offer various services, including "Cut N Sew," which includes their cool custom pocket tees, liner hoodies, kangaroo pockets, and patch hats/beanies.
They print and embroider, of course. But they also have the option to label and brand your products with woven labels, private labels, neck prints, patches, and limited edition hem tags. Just like us, they have a warehouse and fulfillment system in place. You can order custom packaging, product finishing, pack-ins such as stickers, and more. They drop-ship and have no minimums when it comes to quantity.
Acme Prints
Acme Prints is an Arizona-Based printer that has been in business since 1999. They value quality, animal and human welfare, experience, customer satisfaction, and environmental practices. Their "thing" is to give customers a quality retail look with their branded finishing services. What do they mean by that? Acme Prints branded finishing services include tag removal and printing, tag replacement and sewing, hem tags, rolling, bagging, folding, hang tags, and size stickers.
Superior Ink
Our friends at Superior Ink are committed to breaking the cycle of unethical textile production. They value sustainability (just like us!) and co-founded one of our favorite brands, Allmade. The brand is all about eco-friendly apparel and manufacturing.
They offer design, relabelling, embroidery, screen printing, custom patches, band merch, and promotional products, including mugs, water bottles, bento boxes, and more.
Broken Arrow Wear
Broken Arrow Wear is a company that specializes in providing custom apparel and promotional products. They offer services to individuals, businesses, teams, and organizations looking to create personalized clothing items and merchandise. Some of the key features and offerings of Broken Arrow Wear include apparel printing, embroidery, rhinestone application, fundraising, custom art, and promotional products such as towels, scarves, ponchos, koozies, coolers, and more.
