Type: regularly 2d animated, but every Choir song has a different animation style.

What the world needs: A video game-ish style animation showing how Ocean views life as a game, it has pixel art, she goes to the next level every time she insults another choir member.

Noels lament: A classical old time-y 1930s animation style, in black and white. Sorta like these:

Mishcas songs: I genuinely don't know about TSIA (maybe like a clone high type animation)

Talia would be in a sort of Disney style, maybe 2d like Cinderella or the hunchback of Notre dame (One of my favorite Disney movies) or the other 2d Disney movies, or CGI like Tangled.

Space age bachelor man: Obviously an 80s cartoon style animation. Cat ladies will almost look like the original She-ra girls.

The ballad of Jane doe: Sort of (wow im saying this a lot) like an animatic, but a little more polished. It would be in black and white. It would start out with the OG porcelain doll Jane, but over the course of the song, will show different Jane dolls (that way everyone wins). It would end back with the porcelain doll look.

The new birthday song: Would be like TBOJD at first, but then slowly turn back into regular 2d animation like before.

Sugar cloud: STOP MOTION BABYYYYY!!!!! And everyone wold be on clouds for half the song!!!

Other things I would add/ leave out:

Ricky keeps his disability, and he's on a wheelchair/ has crutches for the whole thing.

Since we want this movie to be longer, it's only fair if we learn more about the kids families, father Marcus, Karnak, cut characters (THEY ARE CANON TO ME) etc.

Noel still makes out with Mishca, obviously.

After the movie has been out for a while, we get an animated short (like 5 minutes) explaining the plot of legoland.

This one is probably just me but ld like a little blush with Nishca and/or Spacedolls

Possible Names for Dani Phantom!

I've said it before and will say it again, but the unimaginative naming of Danny Phantom is weighing on me again. Especially Dani and Danny. Sure, it's a funny gag the first time some one calls for "Danny" and both of them look up, but once Dani is freed from Vlad's manipulation and expecting her being just like Danny, and especially after she goes on a supposed Journey of Self Discovery and comes back still just Danny's clone, she should at least have a few ideas for her own identity and with it, her own name!

Most fans just use Ellie or Ella. If you want to maintain that nick name, then any "el" name will do. Ex. Isabel, Michelle, Maribel, Rachel, Annabel, Noel, Gabriel, Ariel, Eloise, Eliza, Elizabeth, Elowen, Eleanor, Elliot, Elaine, Electra.

People have used Stella or Estelle since she's introduced as being just as interested in space as Danny is. And you could build on that with other astronomy related names, or constellation names, like Celeste, Artemis (goddess of the moon), Andromeda (like the galaxy), Bellatrix (a star in the Orion constellation), Electra again (a star in the Pleiades cluster), or maybe Haley (like the comet) or Leia (from Star Wars).

Or, you can find a name with a meaning you personally think fits Dani's personality. Like how in the show, they excuse her not existing in more episodes by her wandering the world looking for meaning, so names that roughly mean wanderer, like Barbara, Beatrice, or Deirdre. Or, since she's a feisty little fighter, maybe a name associated with fighting, like Alexandria or Barbra/Bellatrix/Electra/Artemis again.

I personally enjoy the headcanon that Dani only likes space because she was supposed to as Danny's clone, and giving her a name like Stella but that matches the new interest you want to headcanon her with. For example, I like the fish/ocean interest @/copperpipes gave her in their AU, so like Morgan, Melody, or Mira. Oh! Maybe, she gets really into bugs! So like, Arachne or Adalia, or straight up Bee or Cricket. She could fukin' have pizza for the first time from Tony's "World Famous" Pizza and names herself Tony.

There's plenty to choose from and plenty of reasons to choose the name!

gender and sex: an essay about dragon Roles

so i was reading the My Gender Is (Not) Human zine that came out a couple days ago, and in it there was a writing from a fellow dragon called Noel (blog is @opal-claws) who explained the 4 gender variations that existed in their species. it's a very interesting read, that describes the roles each dragon takes (which are Suitor/Prospect and settled/nomadic) and all the little facets of each one of them.

and i guess it got me thinking a bit. yes, my dragon species has two traditional sexes, male and female, but the majority of dragons dont have a 'gender' as humans do. we are mostly agender, and only those dragons who have spent lives with humans have more traditional genders. being male or female doesnt matter in the grand scheme of things, and only if youre actively looking to mate. but even then, you dont even have to choose a partner of the opposite sex for it! because, at least with females, we are capable of having offspring without any kind of sexual contact (we are awesome like that). it's a process called parthenogenesis, and occurs in many species of lizards including komodo dragons. the end result of this process is a genetic clone of its respective parent, and the dragonet will always be female (of course, this leads to a bit of a loss in genetic variation, but its useful if you dont have any males available, or if youre a lesbian). there is also another option, at least in females (males really do get the short end of the stick in reproduction tactics, dont they?), of mating once with a male and "saving up" the seed inside of the cloaca so you can still lay fertilised eggs for many years without having to mate again.

but thats only the "biological" part. in dragon society, there are gender roles, but not in the way humans think of them. as i said, our genders are not tied to our sexes at all, and they are not influenced by reproductive habits either. our Roles are more about your function in society, what your instincts tell you to do. for example, my instincts are primarily of protection. im a solitary dragon, and my territory is always my number one priority. i patrol, i watch over it, i drive out possible intruders, and i never leave my forest. at the end of the day, i return to my den with my hoard and my nest, and just sleep until the next day. so id say my 'Role' would be Protector. there are other types of dragons, like Provider (primarily a hunter, the one that brings resources for their mate or dragonets; very nomadic, they dont like to stay in one place for too long) and Carer (theyre by far the most social role; as the name implies, they are the primary carers of our young, but they also keep balance in a community).

as you can see, none of the Roles are related to the capability of producing offspring, as both males and females can have any Role; but you dont even have to have offspring at all to feel fulfilled in your Role! its just about what kind of dragon you are; your function in society.

I am having a lot of feelings about post-Wild Card Kunigami. Like, everything that makes him him has been stripped away so that Ego could clone Noa... and Noa honestly seems to view him with contempt. And because Blue Lock’s mindset (which he’s presumably been hardcore indoctrinated in whilst being turned into a Noa-clone) doesn’t fit with the rationality of the German team, it all would have been for nothing if Isagi hadn’t decided to use him as a piece in his plan.

But something really interesting is that I originally thought Isagi had been able to match up with Kunigami’s new style because he’s studied Noel Noa so much and Kunigami is now effectively a Noa on his level... except that’s not it at all. When Isagi passes to Kunigami at the end of the Barcha game, he’s relying on the shooting power of his left leg. Or, to put it another way, he’s not putting his faith in something that Kunigami’s copied from Noa. He’s putting his faith in something that Kunigami’s had all along.

They are IMMENSELY ENTERTAINING to ME SPECIFICALLY and I have a blast reading them!

I love every time Leon appears on the page. The whole concept of Leon is so ridiculous but also so evocative and thought-provoking. He didn’t ask to be created through Time Clone Nonsense! He’s never known Noel’s future and has no connection to it nor feels any duty to preserve it! He wants to create a world he can belong in without being erased by Noel fixing the timeline! Can you blame him! The added pathos of 1) he can feel Noel’s pain 2) he is an imperfect copy, angsty because he can’t taste food, it tastes like nothing to him, is catnip to me. Also he’s psychic for no evident reason.

The fact that he’s also kind of ineffective at being Evil, mostly making trouble for himself and occasionally Noel and no one else, and Noel constantly has to rescue them both, is also endearing. Leon you are an angsty clone fuckup and I love you.

(And to actually praise something the book was trying to do, I enjoy the whump a lot. Noel gets the absolute shit kicked out of him on a regular basis and it is described in loving painful detail without being gory.)

Headcanons for Kairi and Keiichiro's daughter Carmen

-Kairi found her as a 5 year old after she tried to pickpocket him and decided to take her home with him. Keiichiro was very much so not pleased having Kairi just show up with a kid but was only convinced because Kairi said he didn't want to see another child turn to a life of crime

-Carmen's interest in global history and artifacts started when Noel was tutoring her about the world and all it's wonders

-Carmen would attend school after she was old enough and would excel in almost all of her courses, except for math. But her best subjects would be global history and geography. She would also almost get into fights but never laid hands on another kid

-Carmen is almost as sassy as Kairi, to the point where almost everyone is convinced that Carmen might be Kairi's child from a fling or an attempted clone. (Keiichiro believes the later theory to be more true than the former)

-Carmen has a mostly clean record despite her constant avoidance of the police because she uses aliases and never shows her face during heists. She was only caught once, but luckily, Papa Kairi decided to bail her out without anyone else finding out

-For the sake of this ask, the best I can really do is say this is post-Central Fiction where Ragna makes the decision to not erase himself and live in the new world with everyone else.

-When Nu finally recovers from her sickness and is able to move around freely again, her first instinct is naturally to find Ragna. Once she does she initially has the thought of becoming one with him in the form of the Black Beast.

-At least she does until she realizes that's no longer possible. The cauldrons have been destroyed and with the full power of the Azure, Ragna is for all intents and purposes a god. She couldn't beat him anymore even without the Azure last time so now there's basically no chance.

-Ragna doesn't really know what to do, even if he still wanted to save Nu from...well their thing they were forced to do together. He'd finally succeeded in doing that, so... maybe she deserved the chance she'd wanted for so long?

-It takes a while for the Grim Reaper to warm up to the idea, but seeing how Nu wanted him so badly now and she wasn't going to try to get him to destroy the world, he eventually figured why the hell not.

-An actual, real relationship is...awkward to say the least. Knowing their less than ideal history together along with the fact that Nu looks exactly like Saya due to being a clone of her really doesn't help. Is this even legal? Are there even any laws that go over clones of family members anywhere?

-Predictably, the Murakumo Unit's...intense feelings haven't changed, however she'll have to learn to express her affections in more normal, much less destructive ways. She'll cling to Ragna's arm at every chance she gets with no sense of shame whatsoever regardless of how he feels about it at any given time.

-To be honest, both of them are extremely inept at love, they're both learning as they go. Ragna just kind of sits there and lets Nu do what she wants most of the time, knowing she has to figure this out just as much as he does.

-However he has to be the one to stop her when her more violent tendencies start to emerge. If she catches him talking with any other woman who's not Noel or Lambda she'll probably be ready to throw hands right then and there, and that's not gonna end well for the poor girl on the receiving end if he doesn't.

-It's a long learning process, but Nu eventually learns to hold back the urge to attack any woman who even looks at Ragna kinda funny. She'll hold onto him tightly and shoot the woman the kind of look that very well could kill a person. As soon as said woman goes away she goes right back to her happy, child-like personality. The way her mood can swing like that so dramatically and so quickly will never get any less unsettling. At least she's pretty adorable when she doesn't have the urge to commit first degree murder.

Fun Fact : I first discovered RTC from a cosplay video and misread the tags on said video for “Rise the Clone” (or something like that, i knew misreading cyclone as clone is definitely what happened) and I thought the show was about a bunch of scientists trying to clone someone and failing miserably resulting in Jane Doe

At the time I’d only seen Jane, Ocean, and Noel(+Monique) ones from the same cosplayer and I thought that Ocean thought she was a wayy better scientist than the others and that Noel was a girl and Monique was her secret identity

Things you should watch in the Autumn: A somewhat un-seasonal list by Alice

Majo No Tabitabi - This is a show about a witch who travels to various places and tries to avoid getting involved in the stories she encounters there. Don't watch this if sexual assault (mentioned) or gore (depicted) would be a problem for you, since episode 9 gets dark.

The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari - Do not watch the remake. Watch the original film from 1920. It's on youtube, and only a bit over an hour long. This is a film from the waning days of Weimar expressionism (and which was roundly denounced by many Weimar expressionists as inauthentic), with beautiful painted sets and a drama that, despite its simple structure, remains compelling over a century later.

Haibane Renmei - This show is about death, coping, and moving on. It came out the year I was born, and uses a muted colour palette to great effect in establishing its tone. It's a melancholy show about girls with wings living in an isolated rural community with strange rituals. It's beautiful, and it *feels* like autumn in a way nothing else on this list does, even though it isn't really an "autumn" show in the way something like Over the Garden Wall is. It leaves you with questions.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica - This one is kind of a religious text for some trans women. It's a story of love and tragedy between magical girls, and the movie Rebellion continues the story in a logical and yet controversial-at-the-time way. Another film has been announced recently, so this is a good time to get into Madoka, or rewatch it if you haven't seen it in a while.

So Ra No Wo To - Also sometimes written as Sora No Woto, and I'm told one or both is wrong. This is, like Haibane Renmei, in the genre of melancholy shows about girls living in rural communities, but with a bit less darkness and a bit more in the way of comedy, though it still knows when to be serious. Honestly, it's not as good as Haibane Renmei, so if you only watch one of the two, watch that. It was unfairly written off as a K-On clone when it first came out, however, and deserves more love than it gets. Noel Kannagi is autistic. It leaves you with questions, though not as many as Haibane Renmei does.
