Note
you mentioned that you don’t ship rexsoka, do you support any of the other Jedi/clone ships?
Absolutely! we love the jedi/clone ships as long as they are both grown ups and it’s clear that they don’t have a specific family-like relationship.
please send me/tag me under everything you see with Codywan ~ Antoinette

Oooh can I ask about Dark!Hunter x Reader?
Oohhh I'm very excited for that one! Just came up with it over the weekend, so it's still all shiny ;)
Crossing my fingers this doesn't actually happen, but I thought... what would happen if at the end of season 3 everyone in the Batch died but Hunter? What would that do to him?
The answer: A lot of bad things.
Tumblr media
Hunter is broken. Barely functional and catatonic. Rex doesn't know what to do. He knows he can't let him go off on his own, not in the state he's in. He feels responsible how the way things went, and he owes it to them to make sure Hunter's okay.
He's not. After two days of this, Hunter just... disappears. No word or message left behind, he takes one of the ships and vanishes. And Rex isn't sure he'll ever see him again, not alive.
For a standard year, Hunter wanders the galaxy, aimless, taking what jobs he can, leaning towards the violent, dangerous ones. He excels at hunting, and he would be a class one bounty hunter if he wouldn't piss of the Guild at every turn. He doesn't work well with others, and he doesn't much care for rules.
He's mean, ruthless, and most of all, hollow. He's little more than an animal, moving from one need to the next, not staying anywhere too long. He sees others as an obstacle or a means, depending on how cooperative they are. He barely talks, no more than is necessary, and he rarely sleeps more than an hour or two at a time.
And then he comes across a quarry he can't resist, legal bounty or not. Someone watching him, paying too close attention, and that's enough to set loose the hound straining at its chains.
He's patient, a predator lying in ambush, only to realize too late the trap was for him. He mistook his target for prey.
Hunter should have known, in the end, it would be a Jedi.

[Coruscant, 37 standard hours after the battle of Geonosis]
The serene quiet of the illustrious Jedi temple was broken as you threw open the ancient hall doors. No one needed to be sensitive in the force to see the fury etched on your face. You hadn’t expected anyone to give chase, all the other knights were too enraptured by Master Yoda’s announcement, but you felt his presence following in your wake.
“Care to explain your outburst?” The cool yet challenging tone was all too familiar and, despite yourself, it made your anger flare all the more.
Stopping dead in your tracks, you clenched your teeth as you turned. There he was, grizzled, weathered face looking even older than you remembered just days ago, gray eyes staring you down with his arms clasped behind his straight back. Usually, Master Col would have the ability to make you squirm under that gaze of his, make you feel like a foolish padawan all over again. But not today, not now.
“I think you know very well, Master,” there was a bite in the words, but you managed not to spit them like a curse.
One of his graying brows lifted towards his hairline, “If you’re not going to bother keeping your anger in check, then speak your mind, child.”
The familiar game of verbal combat was afoot, his words were a way of tossing your proverbial weapon at your feet, and you picked it up with pride. “How can you be okay with this, Master? A war? They’re sending us into an all-out war?!”
“It would seem so.” Typical of the old man, as unmoving as a statue, refusing to strike, forcing you into the offensive.
“What are they thinking? We’re meant to keep the peace, negotiate, protect the innocent. Now they want to make us into soldiers? It’s wrong, Master.” The words were sweeping blows, meant to push him, meant to scratch that stony defense.
Col shrugged, “Jedi battle all the time, child, why do you think we have such rigorous combat training?”
“Defending civilians from pirates or guarding a prince against assassins is not the same as this and you know it!” You were well aware that he was getting under your skin, but you struck harder all the same. “The Jedi aren’t weapons to be thrown around by politicians. We have a duty to protect life, this war may make us betray our own code!”
“This war is happening with or without us, and the best way to protect the innocent is to end the war.”
“But we aren’t soldiers!”
“We are whatever our republic needs us to be!” His stern voice echoed off the empty halls, and despite the raised tone, his posture and stoic expression hadn’t shifted in the slightest.
You only narrowed your eyes at him.
This standstill was familiar too, a common impasse in your debates. Usually, the debates were about Jedi philosophy and beliefs, or decisions made during missions. It was not uncommon for them to have fire, for you to get heated over the topic, but this…this was different. This time it felt like you were clawing yourself out of a pit, and everyone else was carelessly burying you alive in it.
Col had always been harsh with you, even now, years after being a respected knight of the order apart from him and his teachings. He was stern in everything, but you respected him all the same, and you had thought- no, hoped, that maybe he would see your side of things this time.
We are whatever our republic needs us to be’? Bantha shit. There was something else going on, there was so much more here, and you weren’t going to accept it blindly.
After a long moment of staring, unflinching, into your old master’s eyes, you said, “I knew of a time when the Jedi thought for themselves.”
It was a loaded statement, and all the times you had debated history with each other gave a heap of unspoken additions to the sentence. You felt a little too much satisfaction when he closed his eyes and heaved a sigh.
“Yes, it is an…imperfect situation, but,” he opened his eyes again, and they were full of that stubborn resolve, “protecting the galaxy from the threat of Dooku and his army is where we need to be. You would rather leave our troops to the hands of those droids? You would send those clone soldiers into battle without our protection?”
Your fists were clenched even tighter now, knuckles white as the memories of Geonosis flashed in your mind.
Hot, arid desert, blood soaking into the sand, death. So much death. You couldn’t save the Jedi who had fallen beside you, and you were desperate to save this man- this man whose presence in the force felt too young, far far too young. You held him as the bleeding filled the cracks of his shattered armor, pulled off his helmet and looked him in the eyes, even as you felt his life slipping through your fingers.
“I- I’m sorry, General,” he choked, gripping your wrist as if that might help him stay a little longer, “I failed you.”
That clone, that soldier, that living, breathing man had died in your arms. He had apologized to you, as if he hadn’t died for a cause he had no choice in. As if he hadn’t died a hero. How dare Master Col imply that you didn’t want to protect those troopers with every ounce of strength the Force gave you!
“Don’t get me started on this- this ‘Grand Army of the Republic’,” you spat, “that’s even more disgusting! Since when do we condone breeding people to be used like cannon fodder?”
“You fought beside them on Geonosis just as I did, child, they were proud to serve.”
“They don’t have a choice! Master, it’s an army of slaves!”
That actually made him step forward, his intimidating aura invading your sense of space, “So now you presume to know their minds? How dare you speak so degradingly about them. You’ve always been bold, my old padawan, but I never knew you to speak on behalf of another being as if they’re children who can’t think for themselves.”
That knocked you off balance and you actually took a step back. You hadn’t expected him to take that route with his rebuttal and some shame flared in your chest.
After a hard swallow, your tone was actually even again, having lost some of its fire, “I’m not trying to speak on their behalf, Master, but I’m not the only one who thinks it’s wrong. If what they say about the clones is true, then we’re taking on men who’ve been told their only purpose is to die for us.”
Something else was rising in place of the anger now.
‘I failed you’
That man’s life had flickered out before your eyes, you had felt his last shuddering breath in your arms as well as his presence in the Force slip away like smoke on the wind. And you knew countless more of his brothers would die just like him. Protecting the sanctity of life was everything to a Jedi- it was everything to you. It’s what made you proud of your order, it’s what made their tight-fisted philosophies worthwhile. Safeguarding life and the innocence of it was what kept you going, even when there were so many doubts about the ways of the Jedi.
If any of you lost your respect for life, then what would become of the order?
“Master,” you tried to keep the emotion from your tone, but it still came out small, almost meek, a vulnerability that you hadn’t shown to Col in many, many years. “I don’t know if I have the strength to lead men to their deaths.”
The silence that rose between you two was almost deafening.
For longer than you thought possible, Master Col simply stared back at you, those stormy eyes betraying nothing of the slight unease you felt from him through the Force.
“Then, I suppose it is fortunate that you will not be leading troops of your own.”
You blinked. “What?”
“Master Yoda spoke with me before he gathered everyone for his speech. He, Master Windu, and I have agreed that you will not be given your own battalion. Your talents and skills are needed in a…different capacity.”
Again, the air was almost ringing with the deathly silence that followed that. After a moment of his words sinking in, you almost wanted to scoff. Of course you weren’t going to charge into the front lines.
In a war, there were far better uses for Jedi Shadow.

It was another successful Mission with the 104th Battelion. Her Master Plo Koon and the Jedi Council are very happy with her growth and she knows it is only a matter of time before she will become a Jedi Knight. The Padawan of course knows what this means. She will leave her Master and the 104th to get her own Battalion of very capable soldiers. Still the tought scared her more than anything. She never wanted to leave the Men that became her Family and the tought alone made a knot form in her throat bringing her close to tears. Normally she would be drinking and laughing with the Men but not today,no the words from her Master were still fresh in her Mind.
"You did well my Padawan." Plo Koons Voice was filled with Pride which made her Smile as well. "Thank you Master." She answered to which he only nodded before he continued talking. "I am very happy to tell you that you soon will be no longer a Padawan." (y/n) furrowed her brows at that giving him a confused look that made him chuckle. "Now don't look so worried. You will of course become a Jedi Knight and will lead your very own Battalion." Her Master sounded so proud yet those News didn't make her as happy as she thought they would. "How soon will I leave Master?" Plo Koon felt the shift in the Force, the saddness radiating off of her. "If everything goes well within the next two weeks. (y/n) you don't seem all that Happy about it." The Padawan let out a sigh trying to pull a brave face. "I am just surprised. I just need some time." He only nodded understandingly. (y/n) then walked away leaving her worried Master behind.
Her leaving of course didn't go unnoticed by her Commander. Wolffe watched confused as she quickly hurried away instead of celebrating with them like always. Still Wolffe somehow manged to sneak away unnoticed and followed her. He didn't need to search for her all that long because he quickly found her leaning on the railing looking down at the City below her. Wolffe recognised the look on her face. One didn't need to be a Jedi to see the sadness in her Eyes.
She of course felt his presence long before he even got close to her and turned her head around to look at him sending him a soft smile. "Commander, shouldn't you be celebrating with your Brothers?" Wolffe only chuckled at that and slowly walked closer pulling off his Helmet. "I could say the same about you." (y/n) let out a laugh through her nose and sent him a playfull grin. "True." He then tilted his head at her looking rather worried. "You are sad." Was all he said which only made her laugh. "No shit Sherlock!" "Why?" Letting out a sigh she turned around to fully face him. "I will become a Jedi Knight soon and-" He then cut her off letting out a sigh himself. "And you will leave this Battalion to lead your own." She only nodded at that. "I don't want to leave you Guys. You are my Family... all I know." For the first time in so long Wolffe smiled softly. "We will miss you Commander. Though it will be a lot less stressfull without your airhead." He said teasingly to which she only sent him a playfull glare. Wolffe raised his Hands in defense laughing softly. "Only speaking the truth Sir." (y/n) laughed softly herself and looked back at the City below her. It was at this Moment that she decided to tell him the truth knowing that this Probably will be her only chance to ever do it.
Tumblr media
Taking a deep breath she was considering her Words carefully. She then decided on what to say but didn't dare to look at the Men standing next to her. "I tried my best to not feel anything for you.” The relaxing atmosphere changed quickly as she said that. Wolffe blinked once, twice before looking at her with a confused expression not sure if he heard her correctly. As if finally gathering her courage she then turned towards him looking him in the eyes smiling sadly at him. "Guess what? I failed." He only stared at her in confusion. "What do you mean?" (y/n) cuckled softly and took a step closer to him. "It means that I Love you Wolffe. That is the reason why my Heart is filled with so much sadness at the tought of becoming a Full pleged Jedi Knight and leaving all of you behind." With a loud clank his Helmet fell out of his hand as his eyes grew bigger. Not really knowing what to say he only stared at her with confusion. Was this all a Dream? A cruel Joke she was playing on him? No she wouldn't do that. A Million thoughts raced through his head but he was finally pulled out of it as a warm and soft Hand gently took one of his in hers. "Wolffe I wish to stay with you." His eyes finally found hers again. "As do I." Was all he said which made her smile warmly up at him. They stared at eachother for a long while before he spoke up again. "Become a Jedi Knight (y/n)." This made her blink in confusion. But before she could ask why he would say that he kept speaking. "You worked so hard. Become a Jedi Knight and lead your own Battalion. I promise we will find a way to keep seing eachother." She softly nodded her head at that. "I will hold you up to that Promise Commander." He softly smiled at that and pulled her closer. On instinct she closed her eyes as he leaned up and placed a soft kiss on her forhead. So soft she almost didn't feel it. Wolffe then gently took her Face in his Hands to look into her eyes again.
"When have I ever lied to you."

I am curious as to your headcanons for the clones with a Grey Jedi S/O. Are they cautious, curious, impressed? And for that matter, how likely are they to pursue such a relationship since they're not bound by the Code like the Order is?
🐢 Sloooowly making my way through requests. Sorry for the wait on this!
Cody, Kix, and Dogma are intrigued. Their curiosity has definitely been piqued, especially regarding the open door to a relationship. They would've been doing all they could not to fall for this person (which is to say not very well), believing they were off-limits due to being a Jedi. But now, now they'll be very interested to learn more about what it means to be a "Grey Jedi" and will take special note of the fact that attachments aren't off the table. They'd be more willing to be with a Grey Jedi than another other Jedi.
Rex and Wolffe are conflicted. They have come to care for the Jedi, both their Jedi Generals and the Order as a whole. They admire what the Jedi stand for, how caring and hopeful they can be even amidst a war. But now they have a crush on this particular Jedi who walks a fine line between light and dark, and they don't know how they feel about that. They would need to be convinced the Jedi wasn't corrupted by the dark side, and better understand everything else they stand for, before being comfortable pursuing a relationship.
Fives, Jesse, and Tup are impressed. They think it's pretty cool their S/O has found a way to encompass different values outside of the traditional Jedi customs, while still maintaining a stance for all things good and fair. They appreciate the hard work and dedication it takes to dabble in unknown areas, just enough to draw strength to fight for what's right without being corrupted by it. They are amazed by what their S/O can do with their unconventional position, and grateful that it allows them to have a relationship without feeling guilty.
Fox and Hardcase are ambivalent on the matter. They don't mind too much what their S/O does or stands for, just so long as they aren't cruel or unethical about it. They believe people are more than their professions, even the clones as soldiers, though perhaps they wouldn't voice those opinions aloud for a while. They'll learn enough about this "greyness" their S/O embraces as a part of getting to know them, the whole them, along with everything else. And they'll be both encouraging and supportive, knowing this path is what makes them them.
