like i can see not liking i like fun and i think it is one of those songs that had to grow on me over time but it is kind of the prototypical tmbg song to me. bass clarinet & horn riff. kind of haunting. seemingly lighthearted but actually about drugs. you love it

Seal Rings! Most of the rings I saw had a "Khepri", which was a scarab representing a rising Sun god. It was sign of fertility and rebirth for Egyptians, and that belief comes from the fact that the scarab beetle pushes through the desert an excrement ball where it previously deposited its eggs, until a point where newly born scarabs start to come out! Watching that event must be intriguing, new life coming from "nothing" - self creation! Because of this, they associated it with the daily self rebirth of the Sun. These rings are named "Seal Rings" because in fact they are stamps! they have a spinning axis, one side of the ring has a sculpted stone/gold/cloissone beetle and the other side a personal insignia for printing in clay. BOX 4.25", COASTER 3.5", BELL BASE 2". EAST INDIA, ASIA, BAR DRINKS & DINNER ENTERTAINING. LIGHT WOOD PAINTED BLACK, WITH BLUE AND GOLD LACQUER FLORAL DESIGNS. THESE ARE MADE OUT OF A LIGHT WOOD--I THINK IT MAY BE SOME KIND OF PRESSED WOOD. I SEE THESE SOMETIMES LISTED AS PAPIER MACHE…BUT I DON'T THINK THEY ARE. MORE OF A LACQUER, CHINTZ TYPE APPLICATION. THE PIECES WERE THEN PAINTED BLACK. THEN THE BLUE AND GOLD FLORAL DESIGN DECORATIONS WERE LACQUERED ON TOP OF THAT. THE COASTERS HAVE BLUE FELT ON THE BOTTOMS. 1 FELT IS MISSING. THESE SIX COASTERS FIT VERY NICE AND NEATLY INSIDE THE BOX. I HAD THIS SET FOR MANY YEARS (20+), THEN FOUND THE MATCHING BELL AT AN ESTATE SALE. IT IS THE SAME PATTERN AS THE COASTERS, BUT THE PAINT IS A LIGHTER COLOR (MAY BE SUN DAMAGE OR NATURAL FADING?). SO I THOUGHT THAT WAS PRETTY COOL AND AM SELLING THEM TOGETHER. THERE ARE SEVERAL SMALL CHIPS ON THE EDGES OF THE BLACK PAINT. IF YOU WANTED TO COVER I WOULD DO A DAB OF BLACK NAIL POLISH. BELL HAS CROME RINGER SUSPENDED. PRETTY JUST TO HAVE AROUND OR TO CAREFULLY PUT OUT FOR GUESTS. THE WOOD STILL SMELLS OF YOUR AVERAGE IMPORTS STORE, NAG CHAMPA AND AMBER.
