it'll be always fascinating to me exactly what supernatural beings Sam and Dean consider real or probable like demons? check. ghosts? check. zombies? check. werewolves? check. vampires? check. wendigo? check. fairies? no way you silly goose haha those are a myth

No because I’m still thinking about Faeries in Supernatural. They setup so much potential for future storylines that never comes back. Like the fact that Dean is marked because he went to the faerie dimension/realm, and that means they should always be hunting him to get him back. And that’s just canon in the lore of the episode.

They also dropped the fascinating information that the faeries aren’t influenced by the Lucifer and the angels, possibly suggesting that they aren’t affected by the powers of God/Chuck. Which becomes even more believable with the fact that they exist in their own pocket dimension and have their own magic completely different from anything Sam and Dean have seen before.

There are so so so many ways they could have expanded on this is the future or had cool storylines. It drives me nuts that they did nothing with it.

If anyone knows of any fanfics that are based on the faeries coming back or the boys trying to go to the faerie realm for whatever reason, PLEASE send them my way.
